샤넬 재킷 디자인의 구성학적 요소 분석 (Analysis of the Constructional Components of Chanel Jacket Design)

  • This study investigated the transformation of the Chanel jacket by looking at clothing design and constructional components. This study explored Chanel jacket's designs from 2001 S/S to 2016-17 F/W, and collected designs from Samsung Design Net and Vogue. The study used 690 designs with the following results. First, in the silhouette of the Chanel jacket, straight silhouette and hourglass silhouette had the most; in addition, in the length, hip line and under hip line were in order. Second, in case of collar and neckline, the form of a non-collar was the most and revealed the persistence of round neckline which is the basic style of a Chanel jacket. Third, in the shape of sleeves, the loose-fit straight sleeves, wide sleeves, and cocoon sleeves appeared most often. In method of closure, button, zipper were in order, and snaps or without closure appeared. Fourth, in the form of braids, various forms such as twisted yarns, leashes, or lace were used, and patch pockets were mainly used in pockets. Chanel maintains its original design by using various methods. Chanel tried to improve activity and functionality through silhouettes, lengths, necklines, and sleeves. The unchanging expression of the world of Chanel will continue to display and inherit future value. This study can provide Chanel's unique characteristics and new ideas that can transform their origins for jacket design.

훈데르트바서(Hundertwasser) 회화 작품을 응용한 니트웨어 디자인 (Knitwear Design Applying Hundertwasser's Paintings)

  • Hundertwasser's paintings have the characteristics in his works continue to emerge organical spirals, geometric pattern of squares, mysterious and gorgeous colors. This study by applying them, it has been purposed of expansion of representation outstanding artistic formative knitwear by using yarn of various textured fabrics and leather, felt, beads of the materials. The methods of this study are through the analysis of literature of Hundertwasser's paintings and art world and formative traits. It has been studied the literature of the theoretical background on general examination of knitwear and knit, felting, needle punching techniques. Conclusions from this study are as follows: The first, It could know the organic spirals and geometric square patterns and gorgeous colors of Hundertwasser's paintings are suitable as a decorative and rich motif of knitwear design. The second, It was possible unique and various texture expression of decorative patterns of Hundertwasser's paintings by expressing variety of materials of knit, felt and fabric, leather, beads. The third, It was expressed knitwear of unique texture to express Hundertwasser's image of the painting by using hand knitting, felting, needle punching, patchwork, beading of complex techniques. The forth, It was reflected well Hundertwasser's idea which was affected nature and art nouveau that all production processes are composed of handcraft techniques. It was suitable to express the naturalness of hand knit and not mechanical or artificial image. The fifth, It was analyzed lines and patterns of Hundertwasser's painting. The spiral is simultaneously constituted curve shape and area that square patterns also have devided area.

국내 커피전문점의 유니폼 디자인 분석 (An Analysis of Uniform Design about Domestic Coffee Houses)

  • The purpose of this study is to find the differences among the clothing brands through examination of present situation about uniform design in domestic coffee houses and provide the basic materials in developing uniform designs to reflect the brand identity. For research contents and method, the overall circumstances were examined about the domestic coffee houses and their uniforms at large via literature review. Then, characteristics on their 10 uniform designs were reviewed according to item, color, pattern and accessary. The following are results. First, cardigan, cap, and necktie according to the individual brand are added with basis of shirt and apron in composition of coffeehouse's uniform. Second, in cardigan, those colors including black, navy and brown are used, reminding of the coffee. Brand logo or symbol is also presented on it, which addresses the brand image. Third, the kind of shirt consists mainly with long or short shirt blouse and long sleeve or short sleeve pique shirt. Job title or gender differentiates the shape and color. Fourth, one-piece type is commonly applied for the apron. At the same time, a short skirt is put on as well. An image expression is often found by the unique brand color also, but mostly, some dark tones like brown or black are largely used. Fifth, in cap, various kinds are worn including the cap as in the case of baseball, fedora, beret, and hunting cap. In color, black or brown color same to that of apron is common, which fails to show differentiation. Thus, consideration of color remix with application of brand symbol is thought to be an alternative to this.

Walter Van Beirendonck 디자인에 나타난 미학 (Design Aesthetics of Walter Van Beirendonck)

  • Walter Van Beirendonck expresses a fairy tale world of perverted sexual desire of sadism and masochism, violence, and aggressiveness that breaks from a transient one-time concept as is an essential element of fashion. This study classifies the aesthetic characteristic shown on the design of Walter Van Beirendonck and analyzes the intent of his symbolism and meaning. The attempt has a meaning in exploring a new directionality of fashion by conveying a critical message to this end, contemporary fashion breaks down boundaries with artistic genre and connects a problematic consciousness that exists in life with fashion. The results of study on the aesthetic characteristics of Walter Van Beirendonck are as follows. First, Beirendonck emphasized an interpersonal image about body by giving a question through the deconstruction of image on a perfect body into race, age, and body based on body modification. Second, fetishism appeared as a consciousness that human identity and character can be changed by connecting a fetish element of sexual identity, and sadism and masochism with fashion's imagination. Third, infantilism as an amusement expression of the form metaphorically satirized life of modern people. Fourth, makeup shown on performance or festival of an African tribe was used in the way of mixture or reuse for ethnography to obtain inspiration from ethnography. Fifth, pop art combined a popular culture code as amusement through mass production and mass media. Aesthetics of Beirendonck do not have norm and are bold in using form, color, pattern, print, and styling because Beirendonck reinterpreted critical attitudes about essential problems that human life entails into a motif of his symbolic meaning in amusement. In regards to his design aesthetics, Beirendonck expanded fashion to the scope of Gesamtkunstwerk in a consistent and continued theme combined with philosophical creativity and differentiated from other fashion designers.

혼합현실공간(MRS)의 미디어환경 특성연구 (Study on the Characteristics of Media Environment of MRS)

  • 최근 공간디자인은 온 라인과 오프라인이 융합된 혼합현실 공간으로 진화하고 있다. 그러나 혼합현실 공간의 기준과 척도는 제시된 바 없으며 융합체계로서의 미디어환경과 표현방법 또한 연구가 미흡한 실정이다. 따라서 미디어환경 특성 연구는 유비쿼터스 기술 기반, 혼합현실 공간에서의 임계점으로서 중요한 위치를 차지하는 동시에 다양한 체험공간의 구축방법으로서 혼합현실 공간적 분별을 위한 기준점으로서 네 가지 미디어 환경과 표현특성을 제안하고자 한다. 1)현실공간은 인간의 시 지각에만 의존하여 보여지는 미디어환경으로 디지털 기술기반의 새로운 소재와 LED 등을 이용한 표현방법으로 발전하고 있다. 2)증강현실공간은 정보기기를 이용한 보여 지는 미디어환경으로 다양한 2D, 3D 콘텐츠가 증강되어 표현된다. 3)가상공간은 미디어 기기에 완전히 의존하여 구현되는 환경으로 공간적, 물리적 제약 없이 완벽한 그래픽정보로 표현된다. 4)증강가상공간은 가상의 스튜디오를 구성, 디스플레이를 통해서만 시청할 수 있는 환경으로 실제의 사물과 그래픽정보가 융합되어 표현된다. 혼합현실공간의 미디어 환경과 표현특성은 체험의 목적에 따라 융합, 혼합, 조합되어 공간적, 시간적, 정보적으로 제약 없이 체험 가능한 지능형정보공간으로 구현 가능하다는 것이다. 향후 미디어환경 특성에 따른 콘텐츠의 유형적 특성 연구가 필요시된다.

3D 모델링 시스템을 활용한 금속젓가락 디자인 연구 -한국의 문화요소 활용을 중심으로- (A Study on the Design of Metal Chopsticks using 3D Modeling System -Focused on the utilization of Korean cultural elements-)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 우리가 일상에서 사용하고 있는 식생활 도구인 젓가락의 디자인에 대해 살펴보고, 획일화되고 한정된 우리의 금속젓가락 디자인을 지양하여 식탁의 미학을 더할 디자인으로의 향상을 꾀하고자 3D 모델링 시스템의 활용 가능성을 모색하는 데 있다. 이를 위해, 연구자는 한국의 문화요소를 디자인의 조형요소로 활용하는 가운데 3D 모델링을 이용한 섬세한 표현을 통해 독창적인 문화콘텐츠가 될 수 있도록 시제품을 제작하였다. 제작 결과, 한국의 특성을 지닌 개성 있는 젓가락 디자인을 도출할 수 있었다. 이러한 시제품의 사례와 같이 3D 모델링과 3D 프린팅은 젓가락 디자인의 새로운 탐색에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이며, 다양한 시뮬레이션을 통해 디자인의 향상과 품질을 개선시킬 수 있을 것이다. 또한 한국의 문화상품으로서의 역할을 할 수 있는 문화콘텐츠 개발에 도움이 될 것이다.

게임 그래픽 유저 인터페이스(GUI)의 미니멀리즘(Minimalism) 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Minimalism on GUI in Game)

  • 본 논문은 컴퓨터 게임에서 보여지는 게임 그래픽 유저 인터페이스의 미니멀리즘 사례를 연구하는 것을 목표로 하고 있다. 게임 그래픽 유저 인터페이스의 미니멀 경향을 분석하기 위해 분석대상으로 삼은 컴퓨터 게임들은 페르시아의 왕자, 미러스 엣지, 스플린터 셀, 기어즈 오브 워, 콜 오브 듀티4, 메트로 2033, 크라이시스2이며 위의 게임들은 미니멀리즘의 특성을 활용한 독특한 형태로 게임 그래픽 유저 인터페이스의 영역을 확장하고 있다. 1960년대 시각예술 분야에서 출현하여 예술전반에 다양한 영향을 끼치며 발전한 미니멀리즘은 시대적 요구에 부응하며 다양한 스타일로 표현되어 왔다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 미니멀리즘을 통해 게임 그래픽 유저 인터페이스에서 나타나는 최소화 현상을 바탕으로 미니멀리즘의 대표적 표현경향인 '단순성'과 '최소성'을 중심으로 게임 그래픽 유저 인터페이스에 나타나는 미니멀리즘의 영향력을 고찰하고자 한다.

건축디자인에 나타난 전복적 미메시스의 표현특성 연구 - 전유, 전용을 중심으로 - (A Study on Expressive Aspects of Subversive Mimesis Found in Architectural Design - With a Focus on the Concepts of Appropriation and Détournment -)

  • This study is about expressive aspects of subversive mimesis found in architectural design under 2nd Modernity. Architectural works under 2nd Modernity are described based on pseudo-scientific positivism and philosophical ontology of Deleuze. However, subversiveness found in works of arts by architects such as Rem Koolhaas present a few complexities to relay on such a description. This is about 'subversiveness' which absorbs the positive and negative factors of modernity which has been multi-layered as 'cultural capital'. This study aims to identify meta-phenomenon as well as the specific correlations between expression and purposes of any work of art that is presented in the form of subversiveness. To achieve this aim, this study approached with the concepts of appropriation and detournment based on Adorno's subversive mimesis concept. Meta-phenomena of architectural design methods occur from relations of three, which are social reality, artist, and work of art. This was connected to productivity of mimesis practice of self-reference and self-examination, which was then, summed up from the perspectives of appropriation in pure arts and d$\acute{e}$tournment of situationalists. Based on this work, subversive expressive characteristics of architecture under 2nd Modernity were framed from the perspectives of the absorption of cultural capital, reflection and negation, autonomy, instrumentality, and meta properties. In this way, this study found that Adorno's subversiveness should be effective for creative and methodological systemization in terms of interpretation of cognition, practice, and effect after materialization.

질감의 객관적 표현을 위한 표면 특성 측정장치의 설계 (Design of the surface characteristics measurement system for objective expression of texture)

  • 인간은 접촉을 통해 여러 가지 정보를 받아들이고 있으며 피부와 물체표면과의 접촉에 의한 느낌은 인간의 감성을 유발하는 중요한 요소이다. 이와 같은 질감에 대한 느낌을 측정하여 객관적인 값으로 표현된다면 의류, 종이, 자동차등 대부분의 산업분야에서 제풀을 디자인하는데 응용이 가능할 것이다. 인간이 촉감을 느낄 때의 Mechanism과 촉감에 가장 큰 관계를 가지는 마찰력에 대해 조사하여, 이를 응용한 표면 특성 측정장치를 설계 제작하였다. 또한 인간이 제품의 표면질감을 느낄 때의 주관적인 표현을 직물을 대상으로 하여 설문조사를 통해 대표형용사로 표현하도록 하였다. 이러한 주관적인 질감 표현과 같은 직물을 표면 특성 측정장치를 이용하여 얻어낸 측정값과 상관관계를 조사하여 질감의 객관적인 표현을 연구하는데 이용하였다.

주장훈련 프로그램을 적용한 국내학위논문 분석 (An analysis of studies on Assertiveness Training reported in Korea from 1982 to 1997.)

  • The purpose of this study is analysis of 52 dissertations on assertiveness training which presented from 1982 to 1997 in Korea. It was diversified the research purpose to by 1) time of publication or presentation 2) research design, characteristics of subjects used in each study 3) related concepts, the effects of nursing interventions according to related concepts 4) the effects of nursing interventions according to the subjects 5) the effects of nursing interventions according to the frequency and the period of assertiveness training 6) the effects of nursing interventions according to the group size. 7) the effects of nursing interventions according to the necessary time per round. Findings obtained in the study were as follows : 1. At the point of the numbers of studies presented by year, the number of the studies tend to increase, especially the most plentiful papers were presented during five years from 1991 to 1995. 2. Research design of the studies belong to experimental research. The subjects of research consists of 5 Nursing related subjects and 47 Non-nursing related subjects so that Non-nursing related subjects contain much large proportion. 3. When studies were classified by the related concepts, they were classified that 17 studies were by assertiveness & assertive behaviour, 15 ones anxiety, 9 ones self & ego, 7 ones depression. It can be inferred that studies related to assertive behaviour, self & ego, sociality and power of learning were increasing. Otherwise, studies related to anxiety, depression, aggression, shyness and anguish were decreasing. 4. At the point of the nursing intervention effect by the subjects, the concepts of assertive behavior, feeling of self-respect and sociality were increasing, but the concepts of conflict and interpersonal stress were decreasing and the concepts of anxiety and sociality were ineffective in the subjects related Nursing. On the contrary, the concepts of assertive behavior, sociality and personalty were increasing, but the concepts of anxiety, depression, aggression, shyness, self-estranged feeling were decreasing and the concepts of assertive behavior, aggression, personalty, power of learning, anxiety, self-concepts and self-expression were ineffective in the subjects related Non-Nursing. 5. 18 studies can be found, which investigated 10 times for 5 weeks from the point of the nursing intervention effect by the times and the period of assertiveness training. In case of over 5 times of assertiveness training, assertiveness, assertive behavior and personality(tranquility, depression) increased. In 6 times, feeling of self-respect & egorespect increased but depression, interpersonal stress and anxiety decreased. In over 10 times, shyness, shame and feeling of self-estrangement decreased. In over 12 times, interpersonal anxiety decreased. 6. In the event of nursing intervention effect by the size of the group, it was greatest within 10 persons in 21 studies. In case of within 10 to 20, only feeling of self-expression were ineffective. Particularly, in case of over 31 persons, there were no ineffective concepts. 7. At the viewpoint of nursing intervention effect by the necessary time of one time, it was greatest within 1 to 2 hours in 32 studies. In case of within 1hour, aggression, power of learning and assertiveness were ineffective. In case of within 1 to 2 hours, assertive behavior, self-expression, personality and anxiety were ineffective. Particularly, in case of within 2 to 3 hours, there were no ineffective concepts.
