In this study, POE(Post Occupancy Evaluation) evaluation indexes were selected into six categories through the consideration of theories and prior research. Therefore, qualitative supply can be achieved through POE according to the aspect of residential environment after the quantitative supply of mixed-use apartment complex by the population concentration in Seoul due to industrialization and urbanization. As the evaluation elements, detailed survey contents were selected for livability, convenience, comfort, safety, economy, and sociality. Based on the survey contents, six elements were evaluated and analyzed using Data coding and Likert scale after surveying 12 complexes (Urban areas and non-urban areas) in Seoul. As a result of the study, six categories selected as the POE showed that importance of quality of life and safety was developed in high recognition according to high satisfaction with convenience and safety. Sociality showed the lowest satisfaction in the following order : livability, comfort, economy and sociality. Residents' sense of community, interaction with neighborhood, etc., showed low satisfaction, and it seems that it is necessary to improve and supplement the system for the development of mixed-use apartment complex in the future. The detailed characteristics of livability showed high satisfaction of the living room, the front door and the main room which are main uses of housing, and low satisfaction in storage size. The analysis of convenience is that convenient public transportation was the highest, and educational environment and additional facilities were the lowest, showing the advantages and disadvantages of location characteristics. As a result of the analysis of comfort, satisfaction with the landscape area was low and it seems that green space is needed for the development of mixed-use apartment complex in the future. Lastly, regarding the safety, the satisfaction of the access control, the location of security office, etc. were high, however separation of circulation was low. Therefore, it is necessary to clearly separate the circulation between the residence and other facilities in the mixed-use apartment complex.
This study aims at deriving any useful information necessary to strengthen the competitiveness for growth through empirical analyses on a general hospital located in a province in order to countermeasure the opening and competition of medical markets. The characteristics of user were identified on the basis of disease groups under KCD in the research method. In addition, the analysis on the expenses of diagnosis and treatment was divided into the treatment progress and degree of hospital resource utilization. And the regression was carried out to identify the impacts of characteristics of inpatient users on the degree of hospital resource utilization. As a result of major research, the inpatient users of the general hospital located in the provincial area in consideration of inpatient users were formed around the inpatient disease groups representative for Korea. And it was understood that most of residents within a distance of 40 minute by the public transportation were using. Although there are restrictions that the analyses were carried out for a general hospital in a province, the findings of this study can be considered a generalized model for the management of provincial general hospitals when we consider the current circumstance that the diagnosis and treatment are carried out by provincial medical institutions primarily for patients in general within the province, along with implications that any general hospital in Korea should be equipped with the facilities, equipments and human resources under the Medical Treatment Act.
To offer basic data about the influential factors on patient's Satisfaction level for emergency medical services the authors were performed this study in 60 patients visited to emergency room of third stage general hospital in Taejeon city. Data were collected through interview with patients by using a 15 items' questionaire according to care subscale, teaching subscale of Likert's five stage quantitative scale and the tools developed by Barbara Davis. The data were analyzed by using the SPSS/PC computerized program for mean, standard deviation, percentage, ANOVA, t-test, and pearson correlation. The results are as followings ; 1. Satisfaction of emergency medical service were showed in care area, but not showed in teaching and total area 2. Satisfaction of sociodemographic characteristics were a statistically significant difference only marriage, that were the higher in marriaged than single(P<.0.05). 3. In the emergency situation characteristics the satisfaction accordings to the visit cause were lower in accident than disease group, the reason of hospital selection were in order trust, introduction group, distance, traffic, kinds, and score of satisfaction were showed each of 43.47, 51.27(P<.001), the transportation vehicle was the 119, hospital ambulance group. but were not a satistically significant difference. 4. The negative correlation was observed between satisfaction and the length of stay at ER and the longer length of stay at ER was showed the lower satisfaction. But the positive correlation was observed between satisfacton and the arrival time, patients who arrived ER from 6:00P.M. to midnight were more satisfied than patients who arrived other time. 5. The length of stay at ER was significantly different according to the reason of hospital selection, the reason of ER selection, the visitant cause and hopital decisioner. Especially the length of stay was much longer in accident group and unconscious group.

This study aims at analyzing the potential of leports-fishing for improving fishing household income. Leports-fishing is a composite concept which is combined with those of leisure, sports and fishing. Korean on-shore resources have also a composite characteristic. The characteristics of the east, west and south coastal waters are quite different in geography, biology and ecology. There is a array of leports-fishing development potentials of utilizing their characteristics. At present, angling forms a main activity of leports-fishing, but coastal seas would be an emerging space for the public. In order for them to be a ground of fun, enjoyment and festivals, there would be necessary to supply a wide range of activities including angling, scuba diving, fish barbecue, ecological experience, fishing experience, cruise, and so forth. As seen in the survey results, the participants have strong desire for fun and enjoyment through leports-fishing activities. The proportion of people participating in one or two times a year amounts to 40 percent. Most coastal places visited are close to medium/large cities and two-days leports-fishing/ tourism accounts for some 77 percent. However, it is shown that conflicts between leports-fishing participants and fishermen are not serious. The results of expenditure function estimation appear that the elasticity of per capita income is very high with 1.2660 and that there are negative relationships between leports-fishing expenditure and transportation/food/lodging costs. Assuming the economic growth rate of 4 percent, it is anticipated that Korean leports-fishing population will increase to 3.18 million in 2010 and 4.07 million in 2015. Korean leports-fishing market potential in 2015, which is calculated based on per capita expenditure on leports-fishing appeared to be 1,400 billion won$\sim$1,600 billion won. The contribution of such market potential is expected to be 62.3$\sim$74.2 percent(934.5 billion won$\sim$111.3 billion won) to the fishing households.

Nationals Assembly have experiencing unbalance between capacities and demand of parking facilities because of increasing parking demand, free parking policy, long term parking and passenger car use of workers, usage of neighborhood office workers and visitors. The lack of parking facilities cause illegal parking on the street inside and outside of National Assembly which result in the disorder of parking culture. To solve these parking problems, this study suggest parking management system to enter the National Assembly for the short term and charging parking fee, operation by private company, constructing parking building by abrogation of upper limit and construction of ground park, and so on. The study, also, suggested to strengthen weekday or 10 day shift system, to increase shuttle bus and commuting bus, to activation of Han River waterside parking area, public transportation with those new parking management system. For the conclusion, the parking problems of National Assembly should be focused more on parking management than the parking facilities supply.
Objective: This study examined correlates of residential proximity between parents and non-coresident married children. A majority of existing studies on intergenerational living arrangement has focused on exploring factors that are associated with intergenerational coresidence only, despite an increasing number of parents and children who do not live together but close by. Because residential proximity facilitates frequent contacts and support exchanges between the two generations, it is important to understand its correlates. Method: The data were drawn from first wave of the Korean Longitudinal Study of Ageing (KLoSA, 2006), a nationally representative sample of adults 45 years or older and their spouses. The analytic sample consisted of 3,950 parents with 10,946 non-coresident married children. Both regression with robust standard errors and sibling fixed effects regression models were estimated using the reg and xtreg procedures in STATA. Results: Younger, less depressed, and more physically impaired parents lived closer to at least one of their married children (within a 30-minute distance by public transportation). Fathers (compared to mothers), parents living in cities (compared to those living in rural areas), parents with at least one co-resident child or fewer numbers of married children tended to have at least one married child living nearby. With regard to child characteristics, married children who were less educated, homeowners, and had more children lived closer to their parents. Also, sons (compared to daughters) lived in closer distance to their parents. Conclusion: Overall, findings suggest that intergenerational residential proximity may primarily be motivated by the childcare needs of married children or parents' needs for assistance with functional impairment. Also, the traditional patrilineal norms of intergenerational support may still be a critical factor in residential decisions as observed in the difference between married sons and daughters in proximity to their parents.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the location characteristics of convenience stores, a consumption industry that forms a new retail environment and implements unattended, and reveals the geographic factors that affect its location. For this purpose, we first examine the growth and regional distribution of manned convenience stores and then construct a gamma generalized linear regression model that explains the distribution of the unmanned convenience stores as well as the manned and unmanned combined convenience stores. As the result, it was observed that the unmanned convenience stores and the unmanned discount stores are located close to public transportation facilities and they have relatively little movement of the population but they are distributed in areas with a higher density of young residential population and densely distributed retail stores and restaurants. The effects of demographic factors on the location of the unmanned convenience stores and the unmanned discount stores differed according to the scope and characteristics of their sales items. Our findings provide an empirical basis for subsequent academic research as an initial study that identified geographic factors influencing the selection of opening locations for unmanned stores.

In this study, the characteristics of transfer station are analyzed using the data of public transportation. The traffic card of Daegu does not include boarding information. The boarding data are calculated using traffic card data and the BMS data. It is found that transfer has increased by the distance from CBD and the numbers of routes, and decresed by the waiting time. Oneway ANNOVA are carried out to find the optimal number of clusters. Three clusters are chosen in this study. The center of the first cluster shows 2.99, so it has a characteristic of CBD. The second is 6.73, the outskirts of town, and the third is 12.78, the outlying areas.

After enforcing 2007 semi-public management system of intra-city bus, Busan city has tried to promote the bus utilization through bus service improvements. As an effort for this, we attempted to clarify the main factors affecting to bus service satisfaction targeting intra-city bus users. In this study, 20 subcategories of intra-city bus service were assorted into 6 factors: Basic Service, Safe Driving, Route Information, Comfort, Cleanliness and Facilities, then the preference for each detailed bus service were analyzed. And the effects for bus service satisfaction were shown under the various conditions according to the general characteristics of intra-city bus users (gender, age), behavioral traffic characteristics (frequency of use, boarding time) and transportation environments (temperature, rainfall). These results would be important basic data for decision-making in bus policy for climate change and establishment of operating plan for bus utilization.
The increasing demand of maritime transportation and port development especially due to increased international trade resulted in a strengthening of regulating the greenhouse gas emissions mainly from ships by International Maritime Organization (IMO). Responding to these international environmental regulation and enforcement, the United States and the European seaports have expanded their Green Port Policy, which can promote the public welfare by reducing pollution caused by ships and ports. Accordingly, in 2010, Korean government enacted "The Framework Act on Low Carbon, Green Growth" and had pushed for all Korean ports to establish and implement their own green port policies. Therefore, the objective of this study is to establish the Green Port Policy Plan for sustainable and environmental friendly operations and developments of Ulsan port, which plans to be the oil hub port of Northeast Asia. To this end, we studied the current status of the environmental policy issues in Ulsan Port and international-&-domestic case studies on establishment of green port policy. With these studies, Ulsan green policy alternatives were identified that through the experts advice, and then were prioritized by adopting AHP survey analysis. As the result of this study, it was notified that LED lights replacement and AMP establishment as the hardware policy and the port environmental management department as the software policy were equally important policy options for the implementation of sustainable Ulsan Green Port Policy to meet port's characteristics.
