경영환경, 조직특성이 정보시스템의 전략적 활용에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of Business Environment and Organizational Characteristics on the Strategic Use of Information Systems)

  • This study intends to find the empirical relationship between the environmental and organizational characteristics and the strategic use of information systems(SUIS). Sixty-five firms in Korea are surveyed and analyzed to understand the impact of these characteristics on SUIS. As environmental characteristics, we select dynamism, hostility, and heterogeneity. As organizational characteristics, we select centralization, formalization, and IS maturity. The result of correlation analysis shows that formalization and information systems maturity are correlated significantly with SUIS. The result of regression analysis reveals that formalization is a major determinant to influence on SUIS of organization. Also, additional analysis shows that service industry have higher extent of SUIS than manufacturing industry.

중소기업 프로파일링 분석을 통한 기술유출 방지 및 보호 모형 연구 (A Study on Empirical Model for the Prevention and Protection of Technology Leakage through SME Profiling Analysis)

  • Purpose Corporate technology leakage is not only monetary loss, but also has a negative impact on the corporate image and further deteriorates sustainable growth. In particular, since SMEs are highly dependent on core technologies compared to large corporations, loss of technology leakage threatens corporate survival. Therefore, it is important for SMEs to "prevent and protect technology leakage". With the recent development of data analysis technology and the opening of public data, it has become possible to discover and proactively detect companies with a high probability of technology leakage based on actual company data. In this study, we try to construct profiles of enterprises with and without technology leakage experience through profiling analysis using data mining techniques. Furthermore, based on this, we propose a classification model that distinguishes companies that are likely to leak technology. Design/methodology/approach This study tries to develop the empirical model for prevention and protection of technology leakage through profiling method which analyzes each SME from the viewpoint of individual. Based on the previous research, we tried to classify many characteristics of SMEs into six categories and to identify the factors influencing the technology leakage of SMEs from the enterprise point of view. Specifically, we divided the 29 SME characteristics into the following six categories: 'firm characteristics', 'organizational characteristics', 'technical characteristics', 'relational characteristics', 'financial characteristics', and 'enterprise core competencies'. Each characteristic was extracted from the questionnaire data of 'Survey of Small and Medium Enterprises Technology' carried out annually by the Government of the Republic of Korea. Since the number of SMEs with experience of technology leakage in questionnaire data was significantly smaller than the other, we made a 1: 1 correspondence with each sample through mixed sampling. We conducted profiling of companies with and without technology leakage experience using decision-tree technique for research data, and derived meaningful variables that can distinguish the two. Then, empirical model for prevention and protection of technology leakage was developed through discriminant analysis and logistic regression analysis. Findings Profiling analysis shows that technology novelty, enterprise technology group, number of intellectual property registrations, product life cycle, technology development infrastructure level(absence of dedicated organization), enterprise core competency(design) and enterprise core competency(process design) help us find SME's technology leakage. We developed the two empirical model for prevention and protection of technology leakage in SMEs using discriminant analysis and logistic regression analysis, and each hit ratio is 65%(discriminant analysis) and 67%(logistic regression analysis).

  • This paper presents a analysis on the torque and power characteristics of standard 3-phase induction motor. An induction motor changes its characteristics parameters under the operation condition with the same capacity. In this paper, we analyzed that how the power and torque characteristics of induction motor would be changed according to the change of these parameters.

  • This study examines characteristics of people who are experiencing severe hair loss problems. We focus on how these characteristics are related to their psychological problems, hair loss treatments, wig-wearing practices, and life styles. We gathered survey data from people who visited wig shops for their hair loss problems. The study shows that men and women have different characteristics in every aspect we consider.

  • It is essential to carry out site investigations such as SPT, CPT sampling etc. to understand the characteristics of soil deposits. However, the results deduced only from the engineering standpoint have limited information to fully understand ground characteristics. In this study, it is discussed site investigation results on Youngjong deposits obtained from not only the geotechnical standpoint, but also geotechnical and geological mixed standpoint to understand correct characteristics of Youngjong soil deposit.

자동차 시트벨트의 과도응답 특성에 관한 연구 (Transient Response Characteristics of Vehicle Seatbelt)

  • In recent years, as a consequence of the technological advancements in the automobile industry and changes in consumer demands, the reduction of noise inside vehicles rather than vehicle performance has increasingly become an important factor of interest. To date, most studies have focused on noise and vibration reduction techniques for the engine and drive system of vehicles. In this research, a comparative analysis for reducing the effect of vehicle seatbelts on the transient response is performed using the test of vehicle conditions and transient response analysis in accordance with seatbelt conditions. After the sensitivity analysis, the specifications for improvement were designed based on the transient response analysis. It was confirmed that the transient response characteristics were improved by the transient response analysis and vehicle conditions test. Through computer-aided engineering, the transient response characteristics of seatbelts were checked with less cost and time.

  • For planning and developing rural regions, it is very important to understand and utilize regional characteristics including social, demographic, and economic aspects. The purpose of this study is to find effective analysis techniques and provide a procedure design for mining regional characteristics in South Korea through reviewing and analyzing 41 related studies. The engaged research methods can be classified into five categories (PCA+CA, PCA, CA, GIS, and PCA+GIS) with the combination of three methodologies: principal component analysis (PCA), cluster analysis (CA), and geographical information system (GIS). The combination of PCA and CA occupied about 40 % of research methods used in related studies. The analysis tool of Korean Rural Information Supporting System (KRISS) is designed based on the outcomes of this study and applied to classify the regional capacity of agriculture using agricultural census data (2000) for evaluating its applicability.

낙동강 주요지점에서 유량-수질의 관련특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Related Characteristics of Discharge-Water Quality in Nakdong River)

  • This study aims at the examination of the relative characteristics of discharge and water quality in river basins using statistical methods. For it, water quality and discharge data was collected in observed stations of Nakdong river and carried out correlation analysis, regression analysis, factor analysis and cluster analysis. And it was investigated the applicability of water quality prediction using Nearest-neighbor method. As a result, it grasped a trenditional characteristics and mutual relations between discharge an water quality data. Therefore, this results were suggested the comprehensive data and methods for a management of water quality, effective operation and policy development in Nakdong river basin.

Consumer Preferences for Wood-Framed Housing

  • The purpose of this study was; 1) to describe consumer preferences for wood~framed housing; 2) to determine factors which affect the preferences for housing environments in wood-framed housing by demographic, current housing, and wood-framed housing-related characteristics; and 3) to identify differences in preferred wood-framed housing related characteristics by demographic and current housing characteristics. From the visitors to a model wood-framed house in Seoul, Korea, 296 persons willing to live in a wood-framed house were selected as the sample for the study. Data were collected using a self-administered survey and analyzed by frequency distribution, factor analysis, chi-square test, t-test, and one-way analysis of variance procedures. The results of the study Indicated that among seven factors based on 32 housing characteristics, Factor 2 - "floor plan and Interior environment" was the major variable which showed significant difference by selected demographic characteristics. Regarding the differences in wood-framed housing related characteristics by demographic characteristics, age, gender, education, and family life cycle showed group differences. Also, housing type was the major current housing characteristic to provide significant group difference in preferred wood-framed housing characteristics.

블록체인 기반 금융 플랫폼 특성과 사용 의도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Blockchain-Based Financial Platform and the Intention to Use)

  • 본 연구에서는 블록체인 기반 금융 플랫폼의 이용자 특성과 기술적 특성이 금융 소비자의 사용 의도에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 또한 이러한 영향 관계에서 상대적 이점과 인지된 위험이 사용 의도에 어떠한 인과 관계가 있는지를 분석하였다. 2021년 6월 1일부터 7월 30일까지 블록체인 기술이 접목된 금융 플랫폼을 사용한 경험이 있는 대상자를 표본으로 비대면 자기기입식 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였고, 187부로 연구를 진행하였다. 통계처리는 SPSS 21.0 프로그램을 이용하여 빈도 분석, 탐색적 요인 분석, 신뢰도 분석, 상관관계 분석, 다중 회귀분석, 3단계 매개 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 통계값의 유의 수준은 95% 미만으로 하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 이용자 특성에서 혁신성과 유용성이 사용 의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 기술적 특성에서 적합성과 신뢰성이 사용 의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 이용자 특성과 사용 의도의 관계에서 상대적 이점과 인지된 위험은 부분매개 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 기술적 특성과 사용 의도의 관계에서 상대적 이점과 인지된 위험은 부분매개 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 인증서 사용 경험에 따라 이용자 특성의 편재성, 기술적 특성의 적합성, 사용 의도에서 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구의 결과가 사물인터넷을 기반으로 한 금융 플랫폼 발전에 기여할 수 있을 것이다.
