  • Damping may change the response characteristics of nonlinear oscillations due to the parametric excitation of a thin cantilever beam. When the natural frequencies of the first bending and torsional modes are of the same order of magnitude, we can observe the one-to-one combination resonance in the perturbation analysis depending on the characteristic parameters. The nonlinear behavior about the combination resonance reveals a chaotic motion depending on the natural frequencies and damping ratio. We can analyze the chaotic dynamics by using the eigenvalue analysis of the perturbed components. In this paper, we derived the equations for autonomous system and solved them to obtain the characteristic equation. The stability analysis was carried out by examining the eigenvalues. Numerical integration gave the physical behavior of each mode for given parameters.

  • The concept of diakoptics is to analyze a large scale network by partitioning it in to a number of smaller subnetworks. The theory has been developed from the concepts of open path and closed path through the conventional graph theoretic approach. In this paper, the formulation of characteristic equation of the eigenvalues of the network is represented by the aplication of diakoptics to the simulated netwrok model of any linear large scale network. Furtheromore, diakoptics coupled with appropriately proposed algorithm for the interative solution of the characteristic equation results in considerable computational efficiency as compare with nondiakoptical mothods.

  • In this paper, the electron transport characteristic in CF$_4$has been analysed over the E/N range 1~300(Td) by a two-term approximation Boltzmann equation method and by a Monte Carlo simulation. The alteration of cross sections from the literature is avoided as much as possible in the analysis. The motion has been calculated to give swarm parameters for the electron drift velocity(W), diffusion coefficient(D$_{L}$), the ratio of the diffusion coefficient to the mobility(D$_{L}$/$\mu$), mean energy($\varepsilon$), the electron energy distribution function. The electron energy distribution function has been analysed in CF$_4$at E/N=50, 100 and 200(Td) for a case of the equilibrium region in the mean electron energy. The results of Boltzmann equation and Monte Carlo simulation have been compared with experimental data by Y. Nakamura and M. Hayashi.shi.

  • In this study, dynamic analysis of Linear DC motor has been performed. Dynamic characteristic is carried out from coupling the electrical circuit equation and mechanical kinetic equation. Trust constant and circuit parameters are obtained by FE analysis and static characteristic experiment. From the previous results, dynamic analysis is performed and the appropriateness of analysed result is verified by comparing with experimental result.

  • Using quantitative simulations of weakly ionized plasma, we can analyze gas characteristic. In this paper, the electron transport characteristic in $CH_4$ has been analysed over the E/N range 0.1${\sim}$ 300(Td), at the 300($_{\circ}$ K) by the two term approximation Boltzmann equation method and Monte Carlo Simulation. The electron energy distribution function has been analysed in $CH_4$ at E/N=10, 100 for a case of the equilibrium region in the mean energy. The result of Boltzmann equation and Monte Carlo Simulation has been compared with experimental data by Ohmori, $Lucas^{[18]}$ and Carter. The swarm parameter from the swarm study are expected to sever as a critical test of current theories of low energy scattering by atoms and molecules.

  • This paper describes measurement of relative permittivity of illite found in young-dong area. A measurement of relative permittivity of illite used to cylindrical cavity resonators with moveable cap. A concentric dielectric-rod inserted cylindrical cavity resonator and an exact field representation of travelling wave mode are introduced for measurement of relative permittivity. The exact electromagnetic fields in cylindrical cavity with concentric dielectric rod is analysed. A relative permittivity of dielectric in cavity is calculated by analyzing the characteristic equation. The characteristic equation is solved by using the ContourPlot graph of Mathematica. We know that the field representation of travelling mode is exact. As a result, relative permittivity of dielectric materials were 7.820 at sample-1 and 7.894 at sample-2.

  • The purpose of this article is to bring together the Horadam numbers and 3-parameter generalized quaternions, which are a general form of the quaternion algebra according to 3-parameters. With this purpose, we introduce and examine a new type of quite big special numbers system, which is called Horadam 3-parameter generalized quaternions (shortly, Horadam 3PGQs), and special cases of them. Besides, we compute both some new equations and classical well-known equations such as; Binet formulas, generating function, exponential generating function, Poisson generating function, sum formulas, Cassini identity, polar representation, and matrix equation. Furthermore, this article concludes by presenting the determinant, characteristic polynomial, characteristic equation, eigenvalues, and eigenvectors in relation to the matrix representation of Horadam 3PGQ.

  • In this paper, we first present a method for finding the implicit equation of the curve given by rational parametric equations. The method is based on the computation of $Gr\"{o}bner$ bases. Then, another method for implicitization of curve and surface is given. In the case of rational curves, the method proceeds via giving the implicit polynomial f with indeterminate coefficients, substituting the rational expressions for the given curve and surface into the implicit polynomial to yield a rational expression $\frac{g}{h}$ in the parameters. Equating coefficients of g in terms of parameters to 0 to get a system of linear equations in the indeterminate coefficients of polynomial f, and finally solving the linear system, we get all the coefficients of f, and thus we obtain the corresponding implicit equation. In the case of polynomial surfaces, we can similarly as in the case of rational curves obtain its implicit equation. This method is based on characteristic set theory. Some examples will show that our methods are efficient.

  • In this paper, the energy conversion theory of the linear actuator deals with the temperature characteristic analysis with verifying temperature of linear Actuator system This model of linear actuator has winding part and mechanical spring, and a plunger. This paper proposed and experimented the linear Actuator(LA) by using finite difference equation(FDE). The experimental result represented the temperature T1 and T2 which remarks Tl is a center of magnetic road inside of actuator winding part, and T2 is a surface of actuator winding part. And the temperature characteristic of the actuator winding part are experimented by the digital temperature meter TECPEL 322.

  • Order of stress singularities at bonded Edge Corners with two or three dissimilar isotropic Materials is analyzed. The problem is formulated by Mellin transform and characteristic equation is obtained as a determinant of matrix considering boundary conditions. Roots of characterictic equation are determinde by numerical calculations with ward method, from which the order of stress sigularities is obtained. Applying the results to the electronic packaging, the order of stress singularities is obtained. Applying the results to the electronic packaging, the order of stress singularities at bounded edge corners is calculated as a various bouned edge angle with given material combinations. Comparing the results, the optimal material combinaitons of bounded edge corners and bouned edge angle to reduce stress singularity could be determined. It suggests that the results are used to the basic design of electronic packaging reducing the stress singularity.
