Identification of User Preference Factor Using Review Information (리뷰 정보를 활용한 이용자의 선호요인 식별에 관한 연구)

  • This study analyzed the contents of Goodreads review data, which is a social cataloging service with the participation of book users around the world, to identify the preference factors that affect book users' book recommendations in the library information service environment. To understand user preferences from a more detailed point of view, sub-datasets for each rating group, each book, and each user were constructed in the sample selection process. Stratified sampling was also performed based on the result of topic modeling of review text data to include various topics. As a result, a total of 90 preference factors belonging to 7 categories('Content', 'Character', 'Writing', 'Reading', 'Author', 'Story', 'Form') were identified. Also, the general preference factors revealed according to the ratings, as well as the patterns of preference factors revealed in books and users with clear likes and dislikes were identified. The results of this study are expected to contribute to more sophisticated recommendations in future recommendation systems by identifying specific aspects of user preference factors.

  • To identify the relationship between leadership, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction of sports instructor for elderly, this study conducted a research on 199 exercise sports instructors for elderly working at 6 sports centers located in 6 regions of Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon from April 1, 2019 to April 30, 2019. The research results were as follows. First, the leadership of sports instructor for elderly had a significant influence on the organizational commitment. Secondly, the leadership of sports instructor for elderly had a significant influence on the job satisfaction. Above results showed that leadership of sports instructor for elderly is an important factor that enhances organizational commitment and job satisfaction. Thus, it is necessary to provide leadership education on sports instructors to develop upright character and capability. This would result in promoting elderly's participation in sports for all, enhancing pleasure, and continuing healthy life in old age. Furthermore, the role of such sports instructors would enhance the quality of life for elderly.

  • 'This study aims to make a choice of 'the new ten beauty spots in Daegu city' based on the analysis of survey of 390 persons selected randomly. The main results are as follows. First, there is no distinctive regional character in making a choice of 'the new ten beauty spots in Daegu city'. Second, 'Gong-Ryeong-jeok-Seol(公嶺積雪) and Buk-Byeok-Hyang-Rim(北壁香林)' among 'Daegusibyeong(大丘十詠)' written by geo-jeong Seo in the Chosun(朝鮮) dynasty are included into 'The new ten beauty spots in Daegu city'. Third, The most picturesque place is Mt. Palgong in Daegu city. Fourth, most people estimate a historical nature as the most important factor in making a choice of 'The new ten beauty spots in Daegu city', but it has not been found such tendency in the selected places as 'The new ten beauty spots in Daegu city'. Fifth, both male and female have chosen Mt. Biseul, Duryu tower, Mt. Palgong and Daegu stadium as 'The new ten beauty spots in Daegu city'. Sixth, natives of Daegu as well as non-natives of Daegu tend to highly prefer Duryu tower, Mt. Biseul and Mt. Palgong.

  • In this study, in order to analyze physical changes that occur in real space in a survival game set in space and effectively apply this to the game, we investigated changes in the body exposed to a weightless environment based on literature on physical changes that occur in space. In addition, survival elements were derived by analyzing the system of survival games registered on the global platform STEAM. Based on the results obtained, a survival system was constructed so that it could be practically applied to a survival game set in space, and a method was designed to apply survival elements related to actual physical changes. Therefore, this study is expected to be used as a way to apply scientific facts as a survival factor for player characters when producing survival games set in space.

  • Design takes concrete form from the things which are not yet exist to the molded reality. Creation of value which is accompanied by the rational value could be possible only through the searching examination of the basic concept. All designs are under circumstances because the results and the character of the problems are different under the given conditions and circumstances which are the characteristic of the design. The aim of this study is searching for the differential design conce- pt which is the most appropriate and reasonable in the basic design process in which the phase of the analysis, synthesis and evaluation of the problem. First of all the pursuit value of the times and the change of the view point of value of the product design. How the pursuit value of times were searched and analyzed. Analyze the successful product design realization of the typical trend of the modern design which are 3-2. function-focused design, 3-3. emotion-centered design, 3-4. image communicative design through the metaphor, 3-5. environmental affinity design. On the base of the case analysis how to apply the differential design concept which is coming as a trend in the future society which are sustainable developing society was examined closely. The outcome through the analysis of the success cases are as follows, \circled1 the value of the spirit of the times should be emphasized as the design image, \circled2 environmental appropriateness should be taken into consideration as the first primary factor, \circled3 the realization of value of the fulfillment of differential consumer's needs, \circled4 lead to prolong the life cycle of the product, \circled5 promote the sustaining growth of enterprise, \circled6 user-centered product value should be the first consideration. \circled7 It is necessary to overcome the cultural andinguistic barriers and to reflect the metaphor which people remember well. \circled8 The application of human's true character should be decided beforehand.   • Users of KakaoTalk emoticons use Kakao Talk emoticons as means of communicating their emotions in virtual space. Emotional state is represented by design element (auxiliary, color, form, motion) and storytelling element contained in emoticons. The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors of the storytelling and design elements of kakaoTalk emoticons and how they prefer the kakaoTalk emoticons as emotional expression means. In terms of storytelling, crocodiles, peaches, dogs, ducks, lions, moles, and rabbits were made up of ordinary fruits and animals. Most of the emoticons are composed of stories with unique personality, and each story has a complex one by one, which makes it easy for users to approach and use them. In terms of design, I used various auxiliary elements (flame, sweat, tears, runny nose, angry eyes, etc.) to express angry, sincere, nervous, begging, joy, and sadness. The color elements consisted of most of the warm color series with the unique colors (green, red, yellow, pink, white, black, brown, etc.) of emoticon characters regardless of feelings of joy, anger, sadness, pleasure. The form factor is composed of a round shape when expressing factors such as joy and sadness. On the other hand, when FRODO and NEO express sadness and anger, they represent the shape of a rectangle. The motion elements are horizontal, vertical, and oblique expressions of APPEACH, NEO, TUBE, and JAY-G, expressing emotional expressions of sadness, anger, and pleasure. APEACH, TUBE, MUZI & / Shows the dynamic impression of the oblique and the radiation / back / forward / rotation. The anger of TUBE and FRODO shows horizontal / vertical / diagonal and radial motion. As a result of this study, storytelling is structured in accordance with each emoticon character. In terms of design, auxiliary elements such as flame, sweat, and tears are represented by images. The color elements used the unique colors of the character series regardless of the difference of emotion. The form factor represented various movements for each emotion expression. These findings will contribute to the development of communication, emotional design and industrial aspects. Despite the significance of the above paper, I would like to point out that the analysis framework of the storytelling and the semiotic analysis of the supplementary elements are not considered as limitations of the study.

Characteristics and Screening of Antioxidative Activity for the Fruit by Rubus coreanus Miq. Clones (복분자딸기 클론별 과실특성과 항산화 활성 탐색)

  • Fruit characteristics, saccharinity, and antioxidative activity of selected clones of Rubus coreanus, grown in Korea, well-known as edible and medical resources, frequently used and which has an excellent pharmacological activity are examined and analyzed. The results obtained from this study can be summarized as follows; Result of surveying characteristics for the fruit and saccharinity variation by collection time, there are some meaningful differences between examined clones and the collection time, exception of the fruit width. From the clones, SG 3 is the biggest in size, the highest in the saccharinity out of five clones, on the other hand, CJ 18 and SH 3 are the opposite. Meanwhile, comparing examined saccharinity factor with maximum temperature and precipitation out of daily climates at Suwon Meteorological Observatory at the same period, on the day the highest temperature is $29.5^{\circ}C$, saccharinity distinctively ascends, but on the day the precipitation is recorded 121.5 mm and next day, the saccharinity descends. Also, five-day saccharinity until the precipitation lower than 0.1 mm per day shows from 10.4 to 11.5 Brix higher than the average saccharinity of 9.7 Brix. Fifteen clones including CA 6 about fruit characteristics in terms of collection layer and saccharinity variation were examined, there is significantly difference among examined clones, but about the collection layer, only saccharinity factor has meaningful significance. For clones, MJ 11 is the biggest and excellent character of 15 clones but the saccharinity, 10.3 Brix lows a bit, MC 9 and HAE 5 are the worst fruit in character but saccharinity is 13.4 Brix and 10.6 Brix which is higher than the average saccharinity of 9.8 Brix. About saccharinity for the collection layer, the fruit average saccharinity, collected from the upper layer which is good at lightness and temperature condition, is 10.2 Brix which shows higher than the one of the fruit, 9.7 Bix and 9.5 Brix collected from the middle or the lower layer. The saccharinity of fruit collected from the middle or the lower layer is lower than the average saccharinity of 9.8 Brix out of 15 surveyed clones. Surveying antioxidative activity resulted from free radical scavenging activity about 30 clones of fruit in total, there is difference between surveyed clones. Especially, Immatured fruit extracts exhibited higher free radical scavenging activity of 94.5 to 97.5% which indicates the similarity to Ascorbic acid, unlike other clones, on the concentration of 250 to 1,000 ppm.

A Study on Growth Type of Comic strips Heroes through Journey of Life (삶의 여정을 통한 만화 히어로 성장유형 연구)

  • The four-phased plot which consists of introduction, development, turn and conclusion in the long-story structure tends to be patterned and schematized. The behavior of characters is in line with the beginning of human beings and the plot of comic strips basically has four phases. It is, however, not a simple arrangement but a complex one which was developed by organizing patterns of human power, behavior and emotions. With the results from a survey with college students studying comic strips, this study aims to categorize four characters from the archetypal system by Carol Pearson, four phases of the hero's journey by Joseph Campbell, and the four phases of the plot based on Aristotle's theory, which is the frame of the comic strip structure through supporting evidence extracted from comic strips in an integrated way. In this study, the categorization is performed by simplifying and systemizing a character's life cycle, which is a factor of a story structure in complex comic strips. This study is to identify what comic strip writers express by using the metaphor in the complicated long-story structure of comic strips This study reveals that the structure of introduction, development, turn and conclusion based on the plot theory by Aristotle is the metaphor of human life and fate and that the phases of development in the archetypal system by Carol Pearson, a Jung researcher influenced by Jung's theory are the metaphor of human life and fate. Also, the theories of Joseph Campbell, who also was influenced by Jung, are the metaphor of human life and fate as they projected complex emotions of joy, anger, sorrow, and pleasure onto the archetype of heroes and used the metaphor of the hero's journey. Lastly, the theories are introduced with the approach of 'guide to screenwriters' by Christopher Vogler. Meanwhile, this metaphor is the objective and goal of this study. The comic strips selected for this study seem to have long complex stories which have characters leaving their homes, going through adventures and difficulties, meeting the world in another way, experiencing tension, competition, wars, and hardship and returning home with compensation. They grow mentally and psychologically through their journeys and finally become heroes. They express the meaning of our introspection in a narrative through plots and images of comic strips. This appears complex but the basic structure of long comic strips has four phases of plot. The life style of an extraordinary character traveling for adventures and growing in long comic strips can be divided into four phases symbolizing childhood, adolescence, adulthood, and senescence and it is a psychological growth process. The archetypes of the character can be divided into four phases and the growth process can be explained. The hero's journey symbolized by the character can be also divided into four phases. Through theories, the complex arrangement of four-phased plots in comic strips corresponds with the growth process of introduction, development, turn and conclusion through the stages of life. At the same time, this study found that the characters becoming heroes are the metaphor of introspection and that the characters' growth and life correspond with the four phases in life through long comic strips. Long stories in long comic strips written by comic strip writers show that characters go on their journeys and change their lives through hardship and difficulty by logical construction of plot and their growth processes are presented in archetypal images and they reach introspection as heroes. The readers share time and space through images in comic strips and realize that they had the same experience as the characters emotionally by being moved by the stories.

Analysis of the Correlation between Human Sensibility and Physical Property of luminous Sources -Focused on Response according to Character of Color Temperature by luminous Sources- (건축조명광원의 광학적 특성에 따른 인간의 감성반응 분석 -조명광원별 색온도 특성에 따른 반응을 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this research is to acquire emotional data on luminous source by measuring and evaluating human emotional response to the change of the optical feature of luminous environment Luminous sources used in actual architectural space were selected with the optical feature of luminous soured then to measure and analysis human emotional response on Luminous Source. As a result of that 1) In the result of performance measurement by the item of the clear vision of an optic function the fluorescent lamp of daylight indicated the most excellent Performance. 2) In the item of fatigue and stress, the metal halide lamp and mercury lamp showed the most 3) In $\ulcorner$ suitable in light$\lrcorner$, $\ulcorner$a similar with daylight$\lrcorner$ adjective of the amenity item the fluorescent lamp of daylight which color temperature was high turned up to be high also, in $\ulcorner$brilliant$\lrcorner$, adjective, the metal halide lamp and mercury lamp turned up to be low. 4) In the result of factor analysis, three factors $\ulcorner$activity$\lrcorner$, $\ulcorner$potency$\lrcorner$, $\ulcorner$evaluation$\lrcorner$ were abstracted and $\ulcorner$activity$\lrcorner$ factor has the most influential on evaluating the mood of interior space. 5) For the affection in the mood evaluation by each luminous sources, $\ulcorner$activity$\lrcorner$ factor was the most influential by metal halide lamp and fluorescent lamp of daylight, $\ulcorner$potency$\lrcorner$ factor was most influential by kind of incandescent lamp, $\ulcorner$evaluation$\lrcorner$ factor was most influential by fluorescent lamp of low color temperature.
