영국의 지리교육과정에서 GIS 커리큘럼의 도입과 개발에 관한 연구 (The Introduction and Development of GIS Curriculum in the UK Geography Education)

  • 90년대 중반 이후 영국의 지리교육에서는 정보화 사회의 이해와 주변 환경과의 관계를 종합적으로 이해할 수 있는 능력을 향상하기 위한 노력의 일환으로써, 지리교과목 내에서의 지리정보체계의 도입에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행중이다. 본 논문의 목적은 영국 내 지리교과과정에서 진행되어 오고 있는 저리정보시스템(GIS)의 적용 및 교과 재발에 대한 현황을 파악하고 어떠한 내용들이 실제 연구 개발되어 오고 있는 지를 고찰하는 것이다. 먼저, 영국의 초중등과정 (Key Stages 1, 2 및 3)내에서의 지리과목이 차지하는 위상과 현황을 살펴보고, 지리정보체계와 지리교과목과의 관계를 고찰한다. 이러한 관계를 바탕으로 각 과정내의 지리교과목의 교수와 학습을 위한 지리정보체계의 내용들을 살펴본다. 이에 대한 지리교과의 커리큘럼 개발에 대한 실제 사례 연구로써, 영국 내 학교 수업에 있어 실제 도입된 사례들을 살펴보고 이를 통해 지리정보체계의 실제적인 수업 적용 사례와 이점들을 파악한다. 마지막으로, 정보화 사회에 부응하기 위한 영국 내 지리정보체계의 교과 개발 연구 및 지리교과와의 관계 설정에 대한 노력이 최근의 한국 지리교육의 문제를 이해하고 극복하는데 있어 가지는 합의를 제시한다.

전문대학 조리과의 교육내용에 관한 연구 (A study on the Curriculum Development in Culinary Department of College)

  • Culinary department of college may gradually becoming up to the center of food science with the growing of the foodservice industry in the Korea. Espcailly, culinary department of hotel is expected to be the popular job by opening Cook Law. According to the change of perception on the culinary job, culinary department of college has to change from nonpopular department to popular department. From the view of these changes, this study analyzes the curriculum in culinary department of college which hotel and foodservice industry desire. curriculum in culinary department of college can be consist of various teaching objectives, teaching contents, and teaching styles. But curriculum must be consist of teaching objective, teaching content, and teaching style which hotel and foodservice industry desire. This study measured on the response of the hotel and foodservice industry on the curriculum in culinary department of A college. Based on the measuring, this study presented the suggestions on the curriculum as follows. First, to provide the information on the selection of new employee in the hotel and foodservice industry. Second, maintenance and inprovement of teaching objective, teaching content, and teaching style. Finally, on the basis of this study, the careful studies on the curriculum development in culinary department of college have to be followed in the future.

한국 치위생(학)과의 교육과정 개편 방향에 대한 요구도 (The demand for the change in Korean dental hygiene curriculum)

  • Objectives: The purpose of the study was to examined the demand for the change in Korean dental hygiene curriculum. This study compared the dental hygiene curriculum of domestic and overseas university and tired to provide the basic data for the development of standard curriculum that meets the education policy changes. Methods: Data were obtained from a cross-sectional survey of 1,192 participants including dental hygiene professors, dental hygienists and students. Data were collected by mail, telephone call from the professors and research assistants, email, and direct visit from June 10 to August 10, 2013. The questionnaire consisted of 4 questions of general characteristics of the subjects and 13 questions of dental hygiene curriculum. Results: The professors answered the development of integrated dental hygiene curriculum as the first priority(48.9%) and dental hygienists(51.6%) and students(42.6%) chose the development of new dental hygiene curriculum(p<0.001). In the analysis of validity of dental hygiene curriculum, the professors gave 3.29 to the validity of evaluation for basic job performance, and the clinical dental hygienists and the students gave 3.05 and 3.26 points, respectively(p<0.001). In relation to the necessity of the change of the dental hygiene curriculums, the professors gave 4.17 points which implied that curriculum change is the most important and necessary thing to do. The clinical dental hygienists and the students gave 3.90 and 3.47 points, respectively(p<0.001). Conclusions: The above-mentioned findings suggest that the revision of the current Korean dental hygiene curriculums is required. Therefore organizations related to dental hygiene including professor association and Korean Dental Hygienists Association should carefully rebuild the curriculum to improve the competency of dental hygienists. They should take the initiative in the development of a standardized curriculum.

  • 이 연구는 '지구와 달' 주제와 관련된 초등학교 2009 개정 과학교과서와 2015 개정 과학교과서 내용을 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 연구를 위해 우리나라의 2009 개정 과학교과서와 2015 개정 과학교과서의 '지구와 달' 관련 단원의 내용을 선정하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 2009 개정 과학교과서에 2015 개정 과학교과서로 개정되면서 교육과정의 성취기준 상에서는 큰 변화는 없었다. 둘째, 두 교육과정의 구체적인 교과서 내용 진술이나 전개는 별다른 차이가 없었으나, 탐구활동면에서는 교육과정의 탐구활동 제시에서는 물론 교과서에 제시된 구체적인 탐구활동에서도 많은 변화를 보였다. 셋째, 2009 개정 과학교과서에 비해 2015 개정 과학교과서에서는 사진과 삽화를 많이 사용하고 있었다. 넷째, 실험관찰과 관련된 변화는 거의 없었으나, 단원을 정리하는 활동이 2015 개정에서는 2009 개정에 비해 강화되었다.

고등학교 가정 교과서 분석 연구 (Analysis of Home Economics Textbooks for High School)

  • The purposes of the study are to see as to how much of changes has occurred in the newly revised high school Home Economics Textbooks required by the 6th Curriculum and to seek future policy directions which can be improved even better, if any, for further revision. To implement this proposal, the study employs 6 different textbooks published in 1996 geared for the 6th Curriculum for data base. The components of the contents divides into two major parts. The first part faUs into a category of holistic analysis of the textbooks, which gives a general perspective of the changes in the textbook revised. It includes those areas of changes in the total number of pacover page, illustrations, table of contents, appendices, unit cover, introductory remarks, summary and evaluation, etc. It also covers the information on authors of textbook. The latter part consists of several specific areas of major changes occurred in the textbooks for the 6th Curriculum. It covers such areas of changes in the composition of category and its weigh laboratory experiences, and illustrations and tables. To conclude the study, there found followings key features : 1) The new textbooks have adopted more of varieties in physical appearances and contents per se as to the older ones. And yet, there still found a weakness in numbers of authors participated to a full reflection of contents variety. In addition, the background of authors reflected on an unrealistic idealism which lacks the on-site information provided by the school teachers. 2) The content area consists of 3 major areas of Human Development & Family Relationship. Food and Nutrition. Clothing and Textiles with ratio of 23.8%, 23.1%, and 21.9% respectively. 3) Human Development & Family Relationship area ranked first with 71 times in the numbers of laboratory activities for each content area. followed by Food and Nutrition with 56 and Family Resorces & Consumerism with 54. The Effects of the Horticulture-Mathematics Integration Program on Mathematical Attitude and Money Calculating Ability of Students with Intellectual Disabilities

  • Background and objective: The concept of 'money' in the numbers and operations domain is a fundamentally necessary domain of economic life. This study was conducted to examine the effects of a horticulture-mathematics integration program on mathematical attitude and money calculating ability of high school students with intellectual disabilities. Methods: We analyzed the changes in the mathematical attitude and money calculating ability of students with mild intellectual disabilities in S special school in the city of D, Republic of Korea, with 12 students in the control group and 12 students in the experimental group, from August 27 to October 29, 2019. Results: The results of the comparison showed no statistically significant changes in the three items of mathematical attitude for the control group, while the experimental group, which took part in the horticulture-mathematics integration program, showed statistically significant differences across all three items, such as self-concept about the subject (p = .003), attitude toward the subject (p = .004), and study habit related to the subject (p = .012). The horticulture-mathematics integration program, which was developed by integrating horticultural activities and the mathematics curriculum, used plants and horticultural activities to provide students with positive experiences in mathematics. These included the sense of closeness, curiosity, interest, attention, and enjoyment, leading to positive changes in mathematical attitude. In terms of money calculating ability, both the control group and experimental group showed statistical differences across the three items, but the experimental group showed greater degrees of increase, 15.0 or more, in the scores compared to the control group. Conclusion: These results suggest that utilizing horticultural materials as a part of purchase learning programs with elements of money calculation chapters in the mathematics curriculum could lead to the improvement of students' ability in money calculation. These positive changes are thought to be related to the high degrees of interest in horticulture among students, which led to active participation in the program and enabled the simple and repeated purchase activities in the program to generate positive changes in the money calculation ability of the students.

전문계 고등학교 의상과 교육과정에서의 교육목표 및 내용에 관한 연구 (The Changes and Present Status of Education in Clothing Departments at Vocational High Schools)

  • This research investigates the historical changes of the educational system for the clothing departments at vocational high schools. According to the growth of the fashion industry, employment potential in the clothing departments of the vocational high schools, numerical changes in the educational statistics, and curriculums were investigated by papers, reports, and statistic data. The statistic data were derived from the 'Center Educational Statistics and Information', 'School Information' (Hak-gyo Alimi), 'Korean Statistical Information Services' and internet home pages of vocational high schools. Technical service workers that graduate from clothing departments and vocational high schools have limited competitiveness in a thriving fashion industry field. Highly developed fashion industries require more professional workers in fashion design, fashion marketing, and fashion materials. Compared to 1994, when 35 classes were conducted in 5 vocational high schools, 69 classes are now conducted at 15 schools. They have over 2,000 students and produce over 600 graduates. However, 222 credits of the $1^{st}$ curriculum in 1958 went down to 82 credits in the 2007 revised curriculum to complete the credits of clothing departments. The 15 courses of the 1st curriculum fell to 5 courses in the 2007 revised curriculum on the number of major subjects. It is a fundamental problem that major courses in clothing education have been excessively reduced despite the demand for of highly specialized workers in the fashion industry. In the view of operating conditions of those schools, there were several problems such as the wide gaps in the curriculum, limited equipment, the supply of teachers, and counseling on the choice of college or a career. In conclusion, the following measures are required: 1) the increase of complement credits in major subjects and renovation of curriculum, 2) national substantial support to change the social circumstance concerning vocational education and occupational consciousness, 3) operation of credit approving systems in universities and colleges for students that have completed the same courses at vocational high schools, 4) designing realistic programs for vocational education and cooperation systems with corporate enterprises.

중국 문헌정보학 교육에 대한 변화분석 연구 (Analytical Research on Changes of Library and Information Science Education in China)

  • 본 연구는 중국 문헌정보학 교육과 교과과정의 변화 분석을 목적으로 다음과 같이 진행하였다. 첫째, 문헌정보학 교육의 경우 2001년부터 2013년까지의 학부, 석사과정, 박사과정 및 박사 후 연수기관의 문헌정보학 학과 및 전공 개설의 변화를 분석하였고, 25개 문헌정보학 개설 대학을 대상으로 소속대학, 개설지역, 특징을 조사 분석하였다. 둘째, 문헌정보학 교과과정의 경우 2003년 중국 교육부의 도서관학 전공 본과 핵심 교과과정을 기준으로 1997년과 2006년의 교과과정의 변화를 분석하였다. 더 나아가 2003년의 중국 교육부의 7개 핵심 교과과정과 2006년의 18개 필수 교과과정 대비 무한대학교와 북경대학교의 2012년 문헌정보학과 교과과정의 변화와 특징을 분석하였다.

  • Based on year 2000 the 7th Educational curriculum is applied to students in elementary school 1~2 grade and it will be applied to middle school students in year 2001 and will be fully operated to the whole grade in 2003. In year 2004 it will be enforced to the whole grade in elementary middle high school. As like these changes of the educating surroundings it must emergence the uniform educations and system. It should be prepared for the age of worldwide, informational and diversity to educate in a new way. After all these changes of the educational courses will be effected to school institution and courses of elementary school and middle school to change. You can tell about the course of study in elementary school and middle school has already been in touch, by the 7th educational curriculum. The educating courses are all organized with elementary school to high school by time dividing. Like this diversified background, it is true that the study of the efficient operation of Integrated elementary school and middle school operations and a small group of schools that are just to be assimilated or also to be abolish, was not enough. So, in this course of study by looking through the policy the Integrated schools will be increasing and the 7th educational curriculum to contact by this result the educational facilities are required and for that the purpose is to design a architecture for the Integrated elementary school and middle school operation.

  • 본 연구는 코로나 시대이후로 가속화된 뷰티분야의 4차 산업들과 융합으로 산업에서 요구되는 실무능력을 교육하기 위한 교육과정 개발을 목적으로 진행되었다. 여러 문헌의 탐색적 조사와 전문가의견을 수렴한 결과 뷰티산업은 앞으로 단일 아이템 또는 서비스 제공이 아닌 의료, 바이오, ICT, 인공지능 기술 등이 결합된 개인맞춤형 서비스 제공 산업으로 분야가 확장될 것으로 분석되었다. 분석 내용을 바탕으로 전통적인 뷰티산업에서 요구하는 기본 직무 능력 외에 갖추어야 할 디지털 활용능력을 추가하여 교육과정을 구성하고 과목을 도출하였다. 코로나 이후의 시대는 4차 산업혁명을 기반으로 다양한 산업의 변화를 가져올 것이며 이러한 변화에 대응하여 뷰티산업의 발전과 지속가능성을 위한 인재 개발을 위해 대학에서는 산업의 변화에 항상 주목해야 할 것이다.
