Analysis of the Librarian Certification System in Korea and Measures for Improvement

  • Half a century has passed since the academic field of library and information science, which was born at the end of the 19th Century in the Western world, was introduced to Korea. Despite years of quantitative growth and qualitative maturation, the field has been facing the inconvenient truths of discrepancies in education levels arising from varying education providers, and weakened public confidence in librarian certification. Based on analysis of librarian training and education programs and the certification system, this research seeks to point out the limitations of the national librarian certification system, which is losing public confidence, and present a model for improvement. Library and information science education has expanded from universities to the academy of librarian education and lifelong education centers, and the librarian certification system has emerged as a target of reform. This research presents measures to improve the librarian certification system to government bodies and the Committee on Library and Information Policy with the purpose of providing grounds for policy enforcement.

녹색건축 재인증제도의 개선방안에 관한 연구 (Needs for the Improvement of Green Building Re-certification System)

  • The present duration of 5 years in the Korea Green Building Certification(G-SEED) should be re-set taking into account with the needs for renewal of re-certification criteria. This study methods is to analyze the differences between the characteristics of the certification system of green building of domestic and foreign and to seek the improvement to derive the problem of detailed evaluation items of the examination. The purpose of this study is to identify some problems of re-certification criteria in the G-SEED System and to propose the renewal of certification system. Analysis of the rating criteria with a few re-certified examples of office buildings have been made. Some measures to improve the re-certification have been suggested as follows; (1) it is strongly suggested to establish re-certification rating systems that is not yet made, (2) the new criteria of re-certification bring into focus on whether buildings maintain the environmental performances of the initial status certified, and (3) thus the effective duration of re-certification needs to re-set flexibly in a way to confirm to the initial environmental performances and maintenance conditions certified.

중등 체육교사 임용고사 준비생들의 자기결정성 동기와 자아탄력성이 그릿에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Self-Determination Motivation and Ego Resilience on Grit of the Secondary School Physical Education Teacher Certification Examination)

  • 이 연구는 중등 체육교사 임용고사 준비생들의 자기결정성 동기와 자아탄력성이 그릿에 미치는 영향력을 검증함으로써 중등 체육교사 임용고사 준비생들이 체육교사에 임용되는데 필요한 그릿 수준을 향상시키기 위한 기초적인 자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 403명의 체육교사 임용고사 준비생들을 대상으로 일원변량분석과 상관관계분석 및 단계별 다중회귀분석을 통해 검증한 결과, 다음과 같은 결론을 얻게 되었다. 자기결정성 동기 중, 내적동기 수준과 자아탄력성 수준이 높을수록 그릿 하위요인들의 수준이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 자기결정성 동기와 자아탄력성 하위요인들 중 그릿에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 내적동기요인의 영향력이 가장 높았으며, 다음으로 긍정적사고요인과 정서조절, 문제해결 및 확인된 조절요인의 순으로 영향력이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구의 결과들은 그릿에 있어 자기결정성 동기와 자아탄력성에 대해 다루는 것의 중요성을 시사하며, 연구의 제한점과 향후, 연구방향을 제시하였다.

2018~2024학년도 중등교사 임용시험 미술과 평가내용요소의 출제 경향 분석 (Trend analysis of secondary school art teacher certification examination on Evaluation content element : 2018~2024 school year)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 한국교육과정평가원이 제시한 미술과 평가 영역 및 평가 내용 요소에 따라 2018학년도부터 2024학년도까지 중등교사 임용시험에서 출제된 미술과 문항을 분석한 것이다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 7년간 출제된 미술과 임용시험 159 문항을 수집하여, 7개 기본 이수과목 및 분야별로 평가내용요소의 출제 비율을 분석하는 것이다. 연구결과 7개 기본 이수과목 및 분야별로 평가내용요소의 출제 비중에 있어서도 상당한 수준으로 균형을 이루고 있다. 즉 2009년부터 2013년까지 5년간 55개(50%)의 평가내용요소가 출제된 것에 비해 2018학년도 교사 선발시험부터 2024학년도까지는 71개(64.5%)의 평가내용요소가 임용고사에 반영되었다. 이러한 향상에도 불구하고 39개(35.5%)의 평가내용요소가 배제되고 있어서 이에 대한 개선 방안을 논의하였다.

  • 이 연구는 신변보호사 자격제도의 발전을 위하여 그 동안 실증적으로 연구되어지지 않았던 신변보호사 자격시험 응시자들을 대상으로 신변보호사 자격시험 응시 중 자격제도에 대하여 갖고 있던 인식을 조사한 연구이다. 이를 통하여 신변보호사 자격시험에서 나타난 제 문제들을 질적분석 방법을 이용하여 파악하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 신변보호사 실기평가위원의 기술평가 능력 향상 모색이다. 둘째, 영상판독 시스템의 도입이다. 셋째, 모든 자격시험 점수 및 이의제청 내용 공개화이다.

한국형 농작업 안전보건 농가 인증제도 수립을 위한 프레임워크 및 평가항목 설계 (A Framework and Evaluation Index Design for Establishing Agricultural Work Safety and Health Farm Certification Systems in Korea)

  • This study establishes a safe and healthy farm certification system for Korean farmers and presents the certification system and assessment items. Existing certification systems for safety and health were compared through a review of local and international studies as well as an examination of advanced examples. Then the certification system and assessment items were objectively verified through an expert evaluation process. As a result, four domains of certification participation, implementation, certification evaluation, and post management were identified as components of the certification system. For assessment measures, 6 categories, 21 factors, and 96 items were derived. The results are expected to be used as basic data in establishing a foundation for the implementation and operation of a certification system appropriate for distinct characteristics of the Korean agricultural sector.

  • The International System for Education and Qualification of Welding Personnel has been implemented based on the harmonized European System for education and qualification of welding personnel. This paper gives an overview of the International System focusing on the training guidelines and the quality assurance system developed. Systems for harmonization of Certification of Welding Personnel and for supporting companies using welding to implement ISO 3834 have been developed by EWF and are presently being transferred to IIW in line with the EWF/IIW agreement established in 2000.

글리메피라이드 제제의 생물학적동등성 시험이 의사의 처방전발행에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Biological Equivalence Examination on Prescribing Practice of Doctors)

  • Korea Food and Drug Administration (KFDA) has been expediting the Biological Equivalence Examination (BEE) project to encourage generic substitution without expense of inappropriate therapeutic outcome. However, little is known about which considerations are most important in making the decision to prescribe a drug among many generic drugs. The purpose of this survey was to identify how strongly the KFDA certification of BEE influenced doctors when they make a choice between brand and generics of glimepiride preparations. Telephone survey was performed towards doctors working at local clinics by using a questionnaire. Most influential factor to doctors' decision was drug cost followed by pharmaceutical representatives, therapeutic efficacy, and review guideline for reimbursement. Advertisement of the drug was the least influential followed by KFDA certification of BEE. The meaning of BEE was best understood by relatively young doctors with specialty in surgical parts. This survey result further indicated that the doctors considered the therapeutic equivalence examination a preferred measure to expedite generic substitution.

교육시설의 친환경건축 조성기법에 대한 사례 연구 -생태환경요소를 중심으로- (A Case Study on the Composition Method of Environment-Friendly Architecture of the Educational Facilities -Focused on Ecological Environment Elements-)

  • The purpose of this study is to clarify the actual condition of real certification schools of environment-friendly architecture per ecological environment elements through extracting ecological environment elements which is possible to analyze in quantity certification standards of environment friendly architecture. As the method of this study, firstly, certification as an examination on certification system of environment-friendly architecture, summary of certification system of environment-friendly architecture and eco-school pilot model project, ecological environment elements which is possible for quantitative analysis of ecological environment certification standards were extracted. Secondly, actual condition of ecological environment elements per school grade by collecting actual data of certification schools environment-friendly architecture were analyzed. The average of ecological area ratio was 24.5 percent in case of this certification regardless of school grade and region and it was analyzed that the natural based green area ratio was 22.9 percent, bio-tope area ratio was 0.60 percent and ecological learning places area ratio was 0.39 percent.

The average of ecological area ratio was 28.3 percent in case of this certification regardless of school grade and region and it was analyzed that the natural based green area ratio was 26.5 percent, bio-tope area ratio was 0.4 percent and ecological learning places area ratio was 0.45 percent.
