공공기관 소방안전관리 실태조사를 통한 개선방안에 관한 연구 : 초·중등학교를 중심으로 (An Improvement Plan on Fire Safety Management of Public Institutions: Focusing on the Case of Elementary and Secondary Schools)

  • 본 연구는 공공기관의 소방안전관리실태를 파악, 분석하여 위험요소에 대한 철저한 예방과 화재상황에 대한 신속한 대응 체제가 구축될 수 있는 초·중등학교 소방안전관리 개선방안을 모색, 강구하는 것이 목적이다. 현재 강원도 내 초·중등학교에 소방안전관리자로 선임된 인원을 대상으로 소방안전관리자의 전문성, 예방능력, 대비능력, 운영형태 등을 설문을 통해 조사하여 분석하였다. 실태조사 문항은 26개 항목으로 구성하였다. 그 결과, 소방안전관리에 대한 인식은 상당히 높은 반면에 사고를 대비, 대응할 수 있는 소방안전관리자의 능력은 제도적, 기술적 측면에서 개선되어야 하는 것으로 파악되었다.

  • 본 논문에서는 IEEE 802.11 무선 랜 보안 서비스의 특성과 취약성 도구를 살펴보았으며, 천안 공업단지를 중심으로 사용되고 있는 무선 랜 AP 운용현황을 조사하고 보안 취약성 상태를 분석하였다. 본 연구에 따르면 천안산업단지에서 회사나 공장별로 사용되고 있는 무선 랜 AP 가운데 50%는 WEP 보안설정이 이루어지지 않은 취약한 상태에서 운용되고 있는 실정으로 보안상 취약하다. 따라서 연구 결과로부터 중소기업의 경우 정보시스템 관리자에 대한 보안교육이 필요함을 알 수 있다.

Globalization Impact on Small and Medium Enterprise: Tanzania Case

  • We are looking the impact associated with globalization in favor of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) growth and how helped to reduce the obstacle facing SMEs growth. We used empirical analysis in order to examine the relationship underlying the globalization and its impact to SME growth. We employed primarily data from Tanzania SMEs. Further we seeks to explain the negative notion that has been created that globalization is not friendly to SME growths. We employed primary data from Tanzania SMEs. The partial least squares (PLS) was used for analysis. The conclusion has indicated that globalization has a relationship with SMEs growth and has contributed to the reduction of obstacles that inhibit SMEs growth. However study confirmed controversial result on part of availability of managers and manpower with global perspectives to influence SMEs growth. The test accepted that globalization has influenced availability of managers with global perspectives but reject the availability of these managers influences the SMEs growth The results give a clear outlook to help policy maker in policy review process, formulate base for extensive study on issues for manager perspectives and draw intervention.

Application of MCDM methods to Qualified Personnel Selection in Distribution Science: Case of Logistics Companies

  • Purpose: This study aims to propose an integrated MCDM model to support the qualified personnel selection in the distribution science. Research design, data, and methodology: The integrated approach of AHP and TOPSIS was employed to address the personnel selection problem. The AHP method was used to define the weights of the selection criteria, whereas the TOPSIS was applied to rank alternatives. The proposed model was then applied into a leading logistics company to select the best alternatives to be the sales deputy manager. Results: The results showed that Candidate 3 is the most qualified personnel for the sales deputy manager position as he is ranked first in the order of preference for recruitment. Conclusions: The proposed model provides the decision makers with more effective and time-saving methods than conventional ones. Therefore, the model can be applied to personnel selection around the world. In terms of theoretical contribution, this study proposes a personnel selection model for choosing the most appropriate candidates. In addition, the study adds to the theory of human resources management and logistics management the full set of personnel selection criteria including education, experience, skills, health, personality traits and foreign language.

  • The main objective of this research is to examine the effect of organizational culture, environmental uncertainty, and manager's personnel value on environmental disclosure through the environmental organizational structure of manufacturing companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research uses the structuration and contingency theory. The sample in this study focused on the level of heads or managers or directors of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research data was obtained through an online questionnaire distributed to heads or managers. The total sample of this study is 161 manufacturing companies. The data comprising of 64 respondents was completed and can be processed. Empirical testing used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) through Partial Least Square (PLS). The result shows that environmental uncertainty and management personnel value have a positive effect on the environmental organizational structure, as well as the environmental organizational structure has a positive effect on the environmental disclosure. However, organizational culture has no effect on the environmental organizational structure. This research can provide benefits for manufacturing companies. The limitation include the low level of response from the respondents. Also the results cannot be generalized due to its specific focus on the manufacturing companies.

  • 국내 조선산업의 전체 경쟁력 향상을 위해서는 조선소 뿐만 아니라 후방 산업인 조선기자재 업체들도 ERP 시스템을 통한 경영효율화를 달성해야만 한다. 그러나 조선기자재 업체들은 규모의 영세성과 주문생산 산업이라는 특성으로 인해서 성공적인 ERP 시스템 구축사례는 거의 보고되고 있지 않다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 조선기자재 업체인 K업체를 대상으로 ERP 시스템 구축에 대한 심층적 사례분석을 시도하였다. 특히 ERP 시스템 구축 단계를 사전준비 단계, 구현 단계, 정착 안정화 단계로 구분하고, 각 단계에서 중요한 성공요인들을 도출하였다. K업체의 ERP 시스템은 현업에서 성공적으로 운영되고 있으며, 이를 통해서 정성적 정량적 성과가 크게 개선되었다. 본 연구의 결과를 통해서 ERP시스템 개발을 준비 중인 조선기자재 업체뿐만 아니라 중소기업 IT화 지원 사업을 지원하는 관리자들에게도 실무적 지침을 제시하였다.

Construction Partnering on Alternative Project Delivery Methods: A Case Study of Construction Manager/General Contractor Partnered Transportation Projects

  • Since its adoption by the transportation sector in the early 1990s, partnering has been broadly used with the traditional delivery method by many agencies with significant reported benefits. During the same era, a number of transportation agencies (DOTs) started experimenting with a wide variety of alternative project delivery methods (APDMs) aimed at improving the delivery of highway construction projects. The effect of collaborative working strategies such as partnering, together with the APDMs have become somehow interrelated posing a potential challenge on how to effectively integrate partnering as a concept in the APDMs. The salient question has been if the collaborative nature of these APDMs has affected how partnering is being used by state DOTs. Through an extensive literature review, analysis of 32 CMGC RFPs/RFQs and review of three CMGC case studies, the study found that there is limited information in state DOT documents that show procedures on the usage of partnering with CMGC projects. Majority of DOTs are relying on the inherent nature of the CMGC contract to promote healthy collaborative practices and there is the need to consider partnering during preconstruction and construction separately to cater for any personnel change over. The study also revealed that partnering may become less important at the construction phase due to overlap between partnering and CMGC practices. In support of this finding, a CMGC partnering model was developed that can be adopted by DOTs. This paper contributes to both research and practice by expanding the existing knowledge on partnering on APDMs.

재활전문간호사에게 기대되는 역할과 기능 (Roles and Functions of the Rehabilitational Nurse Practitioner Expected by Nurses and Doctors in Rehabilitation Hospital)

  • Purpose: This study aims to identify the role and function of the RNP(rehabilitational nurse practitioner) expected by nurses and doctors. Method: This study was a survey. The data were collected 188 nurses and 21 doctors who worked for disabled patients in the rehabilitation hospital during months of June, 2004 and August, 2005. Results: 98.4% of nurse and 61.9% of doctors agreed at opening of RNP course. The major role of RNP expected by nurses were educator, counsellor and case manager. The major role of RNP expected by doctors were direct care, self care promoter & exercise and emotional care. There was a significant difference about the need for opening of RNP course and major role and function of RNP between the group of nurses and doctors. Conclusion: The results of this study showed that the need for opening of RNP was identified and the major role of RNP was educator, counsellor, case manager and direct care. So there is a need for further research about major role of RNP related to various setting including rehabilitation hospital, nursing home, home care etc.

주문생산 방식의 생산계획 수립을 위한 시뮬레이션 모델 설계 : 판유리 제조 공정을 중심으로 (Simulation Modeling for Production Scheduling under Make-To-Order Production Environment : Focusing on the Flat Glass Production Environment)

  • The manufacturing companies under Make-To-Order (MTO) production environment face highly variable requirements of the customers. It makes them difficult to establish preemptive production strategy through inventory management and demand forecasting. Therefore, the ability to establish an optimal production schedule that incorporates the various requirements of the customers is emphasized as the key success factor. In this study, we suggest a process of designing the simulation model for establishing production schedule and apply this model to the case of a flat glass processing company. The flat glass manufacturing industry is under MTO production environment. Academic research of flat glass industry is focused on minimizing the waste in the cutting process. In addition, in the practical view, the flat glass manufacturing companies tend to establish the production schedule based on the intuition of production manager and it results in failure of meeting the due date. Based on these findings, the case study aims to present the process of drawing up a production schedule through simulation modeling. The actual data of Korean flat glass processing company were used to make a monthly production schedule. To do this, five scenarios based on dispatching rules are considered and each scenario is evaluated by three key performance indicators for delivery compliance. We used B2MML (Business To Manufacturing Markup Language) schema for integrating manufacturing systems and simulations are carried out by using SIMIO simulation software. The results provide the basis for determining a suitable production schedule from the production manager's perspective.

프로그램레벨 다수 대학시설물 유지보수 일정계획 지원 모델 (Program-level Maintenance Scheduling Support Model for Multiple University Facilities)

  • 대학 시설은 다수의 건물들로 구성되어 많은 유지보수항목이 있고 한정된 기간 내에 처리해야 하는 관리상의 제약사항이 있다. 대부분의 유지보수 작업은 규모가 작으며 방수공사 등 다수 공종이 동시에 진행되는 특성을 가진다. 시설관리자는 유지보수업체와 연간단가계약을 맺고 공사를 추진하지만 기존 유지보수공사는 일정 및 인력투입계획 없이 공사가 진행되어 공사지연과 다수의 재작업이 발생하고 있다. 본 연구는 시설관리자가 다수의 대학 시설물 유지보수공사들을 프로그램 레벨로 관리할 수 있도록 지원하는 일정계획 모델을 제안하였다. 모델은 순차적으로 진행되는 3단계로 구성된다. 대상 분석단계에서는 수량산출서를 바탕으로 유지보수항목들의 세부공종을 분석하고 수량을 산출한다. 자원 분석단계에서는 효과적인 전문기능공의 투입을 위해 세부공종별 전문기능공 및 공사기간을 도출한다. 일정계획 수립단계에서는 공종별 우선순위와 최적 투입인력이 도출되고 적합도에 따라 일정계획 최적안을 선정한다. 사례적용결과 프로그램 레벨에서 다수 대학시설물 유지보수공사 간의 효과적인 인력투입이 가능하며, 노무비가 감소되어 모델 적용 전 보다 많은 수의 공사를 완료할 수 있었다. 실무자 면담을 통해 모델의 적용성 및 효과성을 평가한 결과 관리자의 유지관리공사 일정관리를 지원할 수 있는 효과적인 도구로 평가되었다.
