일부 초등학교 교사의 구강보건교육 인식에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Influencing factors on awareness toward oral health education in elementary school teachers)

  • Objectives: The purpose of the study was to investigate the influencing factors on awareness toward oral health education in elementary school teachers. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 250 elementary school teachers in Jeollado and Chungcheongdo from October 6 to November 28, 2014. The questionnaire consisted of the general characteristics of the subjects, oral health knowledge, oral health beliefs, and oral health education awareness measured by Likert 5 point scale. Cronbach alpha was 0.699 in the oral health knowledge and 0.957 in the oral health beliefs. Results: Those who were more interested in the oral health education had the awareness toward the necessity of oral health education. Those who had a longer career of education tended to have the strong beliefs in oral health education. Conclusions: The elementary school teachers are the most important persons in the lifelong oral health education facilitator to the students. It is very important to provide the continuing oral health education program development for the elementary school teachers.

중국 내 한국인 유학생의 문화적응 스트레스, 진로 스트레스, 사회적 지지가 우울에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Acculturative Stress, Career Stress, and Social Support on Depression in Korean International Students in China)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to examine the level of acculturative stress, career stress, social support and depression, and identify factors affecting depression among Korean international students in China. Methods: Data were collected from 157 Korean students studying in undergraduate, graduate, students exchange programs and language training courses in G university, J university, and S university in G city, Guangdong Province, China, from September 1 to October 27, 2017. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and multiple linear regression. Results: The mean acculturative stress was 62.24±18.08 out of 165, whereas the mean career stress was 65.47±19.79 out of 125. The mean social support was 95.03±14.64 out of 125, and the mean depression score was 13.83±9.24 out of 60. The factor that had the greatest effect on depression among the participants was acculturative stress (β=.26, p=.001), followed by career stress (β=.24, p=.002), frequency of weekly phone calls with family (β=.19, p=.006), source of tuition payment (β=.18, p=.009), and self-perceived health (β=.15, p=.040). The model explained 33% of the variance. Conclusion: It is necessary to develop depression prevention and management programs as well as a customized health promotion program that account for the factors identified to have an effect on depression, namely, acculturative stress, career stress, frequency of weekly phone calls with family, source of tuition payment, and self-perceived health, and increase awareness of depression among international students.

여성공학도 진로장벽에 관한 남녀 인식 비교 (The Differences of Gender Awareness on Women Engineers' Career Barriers)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 여성공학도의 진로장벽에 관한 남녀 학생 인식비교이다. 이를 위해 진로장벽 인식에 관한 문헌을 조사하고, 이성식(2007) 박사학위논문에서 사용한 내용을 교육학박사 2인이 수정 보완하여 설문문항을 구성하였다. 설문대상은 수도권 소재 4학년 재학 중인 공과대학생 691명이다. 연구결과 남학생은 여학생보다 여성의 진로장벽인식(상호작용적, 태도, 사회적 대인적 진로장벽)에 긍정적인 것으로 나타났다. 또한 여학생들은 태도장벽을 긍정적으로 인식하고 있는데 반하여 상호작용적 장벽을 부정적으로 자각하고 있었다. 여학생들이 인식한 태도장벽과 상호작용적 장벽의 구체적인 요소를 알아보기 위하여 실시한 초점그룹 인터뷰 결과에서 여성공학도들은 학점을 근거로 자신들을 준비된 공학도로 이해하는 경향이 있었고, 여성의 진로개발과 유지에서의 애로사항은 잘 이해하고 있는 반면, 이에 대한 대응 전략에 대한 인식은 미흡하였다.

  • It is more important than ever to have talent with innovative capacities for sustainable agriculture and rural areas, but adolescents's interest in and understanding of agriculture and rural areas is very low. Therefore, this study analyzed the experiences of participants in the Agriculture Career Exploration Activities Program. and suggests strategies to improve and revitalize agricultural education based on these findings. First, Institutions and facilities that run agricultural education programs need opportunities for self-checks. Second, it is necessary to develop various contents and its distribution channels to enable the experience related to it in daily life. Third, it is important to provide experience in the middle school curriculum, which requires the use of a system such as the Free Semester System. Fourth, education and promotion to parents and teachers is also important, as it has a direct impact on youth's perception of it.

외국의 농촌청소년 개발사업의 현황과 시사점 (A Study on the Rural Youth Programs of Foreign Countries)

  • The purposes of this study were to review the rural youth programs of selected foreign countries and to draw some implications to the rural youth programs in Korea. The youth development programs reviewed were 4-H Youth Development Program of U.S.A, Rural Youth Information Service of Australia, Rural Youth Job Strategy of Canada, The Urban-Rural Youth Program of U.S.A, and Expert Consultation on Extension Rural Youth Programmes and Sustainable Development of FAO. After reviewing the rural youth programs of selected foreign countries, the authors suggested the following implications for further development of rural youth programs in Korea; 1. The target group of rural youth programs should include urban youth as well as rural youth, and the programs should be focused on enlarging their awareness of the rural community and agriculture. 2. Rural youth programs should be extended beyond agricultural sectors, such as leadership, career development, leisure activity, and cultural life. 3. We should develop some programs to support academic achievement, career development, employment, cultural needs including some strategies to prevent problematic behaviors of rural youth. 4. Rural youth should be supported more opportunities to join the community life to experience and learn various life skills through active participation such as interpersonal skill, leadership skill, and problem-solving skill.

공과대학 여학생 관련 연구 동향 분석: 국내 연구를 중심으로 (A Systematic Review of Female Engineering Students Related Studies)

  • This study aims to analyze the research trends of female engineering students focused on domestic research and to suggest implications for future researches. For this purpose, 67 domestic researches (academic articles & graduate theses) which were published since 1996 were collected using the academic research information service and the National Assembly Library search service. All of these 67 researches have been reviewed and classified according to analytical criteria such as publication year, research method, journal's research field and research subjects. Our findings show that firstly, related research on female engineering students has been growing since 1996. Secondly, there were more researches of both academic journals and graduate theses, using quantitative method compared to those with the other research methods. Thirdly, the research themes could be classified as follows: gender-awareness, female engineering students'(hereafter, FES) psychological variables, customized education for FES, career related variables, FES's properties and counselling for them. Fourth, regarding the result of analysis on the research topic, 41.79% of the researches were related to FES's 'career' related factors as well as diverse correlates. Based on these findings, it is necessary to continue studying on FES using various research methods as well as adopting different research perspectives. Also, practical and educational treatments for FES are required with particular attention to their individual variables.

수술실 간호사의 병원감염관리에 대한 인지도와 실천정도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Levels of Awareness of Nosocomial Infection and Management Practices by Operating Room Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study was done to examine the awareness and management practice of operating room nurses, to prevent nosocomial infection, to identify problems and to propose solutions. Method: The research tools used were the hospital infection control guideline and a modified version of the measurment tools used in the study of Cho (1998). The questionnaire consisted of questions on hand washing, personal hygiene and clothes control, cleaning and environment control, sterilizing supplies and disposal of contaminated materials. The collected data were analysed with the SPSS program. Results: The mean score for domain-specific awareness of nosocomial infection control was 4.81 out of a possible 5 points. The highest score was for sterilizing supplies and disposal of contaminated materials. The mean score for domain-specific practices of nosocomial infection control was 4.40, out of a possible 5 points. Sterilizing supplies and disposal of contaminated materials had the highest scores. The mean score for awareness in all domains was higher than mean score for practice. Among the general characteristics of the nurses, high awareness was found only in the provision of infection control guidelines and it had shown statistically significant difference. Examination of relation of general characteristics to practice showed that for age, career, the provision of infection control guidelines, and experience in infection control education there were statistically significant differences in the scores. For the relation between awareness of nosocomial infection control and practice, positive correlation was found in all domains, thus high awareness leads to high practice. Conclusion: Considering the result of this research, plans are needed that promote virtual practice of hospital infection control.

정보보호인력 직무이동의 추이 및 요인 (Trend and Cause of Information Security Workforce's Job Turnover)

  • A significant proportion of information subjects experience information security breaches, and the number of reports and counseling cases of personal information infringements is increasing. Increased awareness of the importance of information security has raised interest in the personnel in charge of such tasks. However, hiring excellent new workers and preventing turnovers in information security remain unresolved. In this paper, by modeling the job career path of information security workforce as a Markov chain, we analyze the workforce turnover process and long-term turnover trends by information security jobs, and further analyze the number and duration of turnovers required to engage in specific jobs. The results of this study are expected to be a reference to balancing the supply and demand of information security workers for the government and to ensuring efficient management of the workforce for businesses.

국가 경쟁력 강화를 위한 중학교 영재 학생들의 과학, 수학, 기술 및 공학에 대한 인식 조사 (A Study on the Science Gifted Students Awareness of Science, Mathematics and Technology/Engineering to Enhance National Competitive Power)

  • 우리나라의 영재 교육 기관에서는 우수한 인재 양성과 이공 계열 기피로 인해 발생한 이공계 위기를 해결하기 위해 융합인재교육(STEAM)을 포함하여 다양한 융합형 교육을 시행하고 있다. 이 연구의 목적은 융합형 교육을 시행하고 있는 대학 부설 과학영재교육원 소속 영재 학생들의 과학, 수학 및 기술/공학 영역에 대한 인식을 조사하는 것이다. 연구 대상은 영재교육원 소속 중학교 영재 학생 86명이며, 3개 영역의 97문항으로 구성된 검사지를 활용하여 자료를 수집하였다. 연구 결과를 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중학교 영재 학생들은 수학이나 기술/공학보다 과학을 흥미롭게 생각하고 있었으며, 둘째, 진로 선택에서도 과학 영역이 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 과학자는 상상력이 풍부하고 재미있지만, 정확하지 않고 배려심이 부족한 직업이라고 생각하고 있었다. 수학자는 다른 직업에 비해서 영리하다고 생각하였으며, 공학자는 부지런한 직업이라고 생각하고 있었다. 넷째, 흥미와 진로 선택의 상관관계를 분석한 결과 과학과 수학 및 기술/공학은 서로 상관관계가 높게 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 영재 교육에서 융합형 영재 교육의 강화 및 체계적인 진로 교육 확립의 필요성과 수학 및 기술/공학의 상관관계에 대한 체계적인 연구의 필요성을 제언하였다.

선박 근접상황에 대한 VTSO의 상황 인식 분석에 관한 연구 (The Situation Awareness Analysis of VTSOs in the Close Quarters Situation)

  • 본 연구는 VTS 시스템을 통해 선박 통항 상황을 모니터링 중 선박 간에 발생할 수 있는 충돌 위험 상황에 대한 해상교통관제사(Vessel Traffic Service Operator: 이하 VTSO)의 상황 인식에 따른 위험 태도를 분석하고자 실시되었다. 양 선박이 서로 근접하고 있는 상황에서 VTSO들의 주관적 관점에서의 위험 정도를 설문조사를 통하여 파악하고 이를 선박 충돌 위험도 평가모델(이하 CoRi)에 의한 계산 값과 비교함으로써, 근접상황에 대한 각 VTSO의 위험 태도를 분석하였다. 그 결과, VTSO 전체의 40% 이상이 약한 위험 회피형임을 확인할 수 있었고, VTSO의 위험 태도가 성별, 연령, 근무경력, 센터직책, 사고경험, 승선경력에 따라 차이가 있는지 분석한 결과, 근무경력, 센터직책, 사고경험에 대해 유의한 차이를 확인할 수 있었다. 또한, 유의한 차이가 확인된 요인으로 VTSO의 위험 태도를 설명할 수 있는 회귀모형을 도출하였고, 이를 CoRi에 적용함으로써 VTSO 개인에 따른 충돌 위험도를 예측하여 더욱 정확하고 안전한 VTS 서비스를 제공하기 위한 기초자료로 활용하고자 한다.
