유아교사의 놀이중심교육과정 실행역량과 디지털 역량의 관계에서 반성적 사고의 매개효과 (The Mediating Effect of Reflective Thinking in the Relationship between Early Childhood Teachers' Play-Based Curriculum Implementation Competences and Their Digital Competences)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to verify the mediating effect of reflective thinking in the relationship between early childhood teachers' play-based curriculum implementation competences and their digital competences. Methods: An online survey was conducted targeting 330 early childhood teachers. Descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis, and The Process macro model 4 were performed using SPSS 28.0 and The Process macro 4.1. Results: The main results of this study are outlined as follows: first, a significant positive correlation was observed between overall play-based curriculum implementation competences, reflective thinking, and digital competences, including each of their respective sub-factors. Second, the study revealed that reflective thinking played a partial mediating role in the relationship between early childhood teachers' play-based curriculum implementation competences and digital competences. Conclusion/Implications: Through this study, it was confirmed that when reflective thinking mediated play-based curriculum implementation competences, digital competences were further increased. The findings suggest that not only positive play-based curriculum implementation competences of teachers but also reflective thinking should be considered to enhance digital competences.

세시풍속과 연계한 과학 활동이 유아의 과학적 탐구능력과 의사소통능력에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Science Activities Related to Seasonal Customs on Young Children's Scientific Inquiry Abilities and Communicative Competences)

  • Objective: This study aims to investigate the effects of science activities related to seasonal customs on young children's scientific inquiry abilities and communicative competences. Methods: Participants consisted of twenty-six 5-year-old children who were going to day care center in Gwangju metropolitan city. Half of them belonged to the experimental group and the other half to the comparative group. The experimental group participated in science activities related to seasonal customs, and the comparative group participated in science activities according to the Nuri curriculum. Results: The results of this study showed that scientific inquiry abilities and communicative competences of the young children in the experimental group were meaningfully improved. That is to say, the scores of the five sub factors of scientific inquiry abilities and the two sub factors of communicative competences of the experimental group were meaningfully higher than those of the comparative group. Conclusion/Implications: It is significant that this study provides basic information for future science activities related to seasonal customs that will be conducted in the early childhood field.

청소년 돌봄역량 측정도구의 개발 및 타당화 (Development and Validation of the Scale of Care Competence for Adolescent)

  • 본 연구는 청소년의 돌봄역량을 개념화하고 이에 근거하여 청소년의 돌봄역량을 측정할 수 있는 타당한 측정도구를 개발하여 가정과교육에서 돌봄역량 교육에 대한 명확한 의사소통의 기반을 마련하는데 목적이 있다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 문헌과 선행연구 고찰, 전문가를 통한 내용타당도 검증, 탐색적 요인분석, 확인적 요인분석, 준거관련 타당도 검증을 실시하였다. 먼저 '돌봄', '역량교육'과 관련한 문헌과 선행연구 고찰을 통해 돌봄의 개념, 역량의 개념을 파악하였다. 돌봄의 대상은 자기, 타인, 공동체로 도출하였으며 역량은 인지적, 정의적, 행동적 영역의 특징을 모두 갖춘 총체성의 특징을 갖는 실천으로 구조화하였다. 이를 토대로 하여 청소년의 돌봄역량 측정도구를 개발하였다. 측정도구 개발은 문항개발, 측정모형수립, 측정모형검증, 모형확정의 4단계로 진행되었다. 청소년 돌봄역량의 측정모형은 가정교과 현장 전문가의 내용타당도 검증과 추출된 문항에 대한 청소년의 응답 자료를 탐색적 요인분석을 함으로써 수립되었다. 청소년의 돌봄역량 측정모형의 신뢰도는 각 요인의 신뢰도 계수 분석, 모형의 전체 신뢰도 분석을 통해 검증되었고, 확인적 요인분석, 공인타당도 분석을 통해 청소년 돌봄역량의 측정모형의 타당도를 검증하였다. 청소년의 돌봄역량 구성요인과 문항은 '타인돌봄 사고' 4문항, '타인돌봄 정서' 7문항, '타인돌봄 행동' 7문항, '자기돌봄' 7문항, '공동체돌봄' 10문항으로 총 5개 요인의 34문항으로 구성된다.

그리기를 활용한 과학 활동이 유아의 과학적 태도와 과학적 탐구능력에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of the Science Activities using Drawing on Young Children's Scientific inquiry competences and attitudes)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of science activities using drawing on young children's scientific inquiry competences and scientific attitudes. The subjects of this research were a total of 40 young children at age 5 from two classes in G and C child care center which located in G city. The subjects were randomly assigned to two groups. The collected data were analyzed by t-test using SPSS program. The results of this study were as follow: First, experimental group which conducted the science activities using drawing showed significantly higher improvement in sub-factors of scientific inquiry competences, 'perseverance', 'creative', 'critical', and 'volunteering'. Second, experimental group which conducted the science activities using drawing showed significantly higher improvement in sub-factors of scientific attitudes, 'observing', 'measuring', and 'discussion'. Therefor, it might be concluded that science activities using drawing contributed to the development of scientific inquiry competences and scientific attitudes of young children.

집중치료실 간호사의 진정요법 지식과 간호실무 역량요인의 상관성 분석 (Relationships between Sedation Knowledge and Nurse Practice Competences in Intensive Care Unit)

  • Purpose: For this study an examination was done of relationships between intensive care unit (ICU) nurses' knowledge related to sedation and their clinical competencies in sedation practice. Methods: Ninety one ICU nurses were recruited from two tertiary hospitals in South Korea. A self-report questionnaire was used to examine the levels of knowledge related to sedation and nursing practice competence based on Ajzen's theory of planned behavior. Descriptive statistics, independent t-tests, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson correlations were performed using the IBM SPSS 21.0 Results: ICU nurses are more knowledgeable about general information on sedation rather than up-to-date information. Continuing education on sedation was related to difference in knowledge levels. However, the levels of knowledge were not related to competence in sedation practice. Instead, a positive attitude toward sedation practice was significantly related to the subjective norms; orders and goals, perceived behavioral control, practice of sedation, and intention to use. Conclusion: The results of this study provide fundamental information on levels of knowledge related to sedation practices of Korean ICU nurses. Continuing education should emphasize up-to-date information on sedation practice and need for positive attitudes which influence all other competencies towards sedation practices to achieve optical care of sedation in the ICU.

간호사 임상경력관리체계 모형 개발 - 상급종합병원 중심 - (Development of Clinical Ladder System Model for Nurses: For Tertiary Care Hospitals)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a Clinical Ladder System (CLS) model for staff nurses working in inpatient units of tertiary care hospitals in Korea. Methods: The study was carried out in 2 steps. First, a nursing competence evaluation scale was developed. Second, evaluation of the nursing competences, qualifications, and professional activities of 230 nurses from five tertiary care hospitals was done by 49 head nurses between Feb. and Dec., 2014. Nurses were selected by head nurses according to their clinical experience and expected behavioral characteristics at each level of the ladder. Results: A nursing competence scale was developed consisting of 5 subcategories (clinical practice, ethical practice, education, leadership, and professional development) and 11 elements, and 5 levels of behavioral indicators for each element. Cronbach's alphas for the entire tool and subcategories were over .853 and stability of the scale was confirmed. There were significant differences in nursing competence according to the 5 levels of the ladder. Conclusion: The findings indicate that the proposed CLS model with a standard score for nursing competence, recommended or obligatory criteria for qualifications and professional activities provides a good tool for developing nurses' competences and retaining excellent nurses in clinical practice.

조산사의 기본업무를 위한 핵심능력 개발 (Core Competency of Basic Practice of Nurse-Midwifery)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to develop core competency of midwife practices to improve midwifery education, national examination and clinical practices. Method: Literature and. document review and internet search and survey were used. 127 registered in the Korean Midwifery Association midwives by structured instrument were surveyed to analyze midwife's practices and work situation. Result : Midwifery education program has to be either a post graduate or a graduate program for people with nursing license. Midwifery practice has to be extended to a lifelong health care of all women including non-pregnant women, not just a health care of pregnant women and newborns. Thus, a primary health care of women, laws/ethics, and management skills were included in the core competencies of midwifery practice considering the international trend of future-oriented and extended role of a midwife. Also, newborn care and ability to cope with emergency situations were emphasized based on the midwife´s opinion. Conclusion: This study has to be developed midwifery practices and education and the standard of midwifery practice has to be stated based on that result.

특수학교 보건교사의 돌봄 경험 (Experiences of School Health Teachers in Special Schools for Students with Disabilities)

  • Purpose: The gradual increase in the number of children with disabilities in Korea highlights the necessity for further research on the role of school health teachers in their care. This study explored the specific experiences of school health teachers in special schools through individual in-depth interviews. Methods: In this study, 11 school health teachers participated, and data were collected through individual in-depth interviews. Thematic analysis was employed to analyze the collected data. Results: The experiences of health teachers at special schools were classified into 5 themes and 13 subthemes. These included "concerns about working in special schools and attachment after working," "management of diverse diseases and ongoing, careful observation," "ambivalence regarding students with disabilities," "competences needed to care for students with disabilities," and "enhancing care education for students with disabilities: demanding institutional support." Conclusion: Effective student health management depends on open communication channels and the establishment of strong connections among health teachers, school personnel, and parents of impaired students. To enhance the quality of care for children with disabilities, specialized education programs to improve teachers' healthcare competency should be developed. Additionally, specific guidelines for the range of medical treatments provided by health instructors, should be devised.

간호대학생의 죽음에 대한 태도와 회복탄력성이 임종간호에 대한 태도에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Attitude to Death and Resilience on Terminal Care Attitude among Korean Nursing students)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to explore the influences of attitude to death and resilience on terminal care attitude among Korean nursing students. Methods: Participants were 230 nursing undergraduates from two nursing schools in Korea. The students responded to a self-report questionnaire that included demographics, attitude to death, resilience, and terminal care attitude. Results: The majority of the participants who had undertaken a clinical practicum had experienced the death of a patient during their clinical placements but had not yet received any support from their instructors or professionals, but also academic training on patients' death or terminal care. The mean score of terminal care of the students who had death-related education was significantly higher than among those who had not. Regression analysis indicated that attitude to death, grade, and resilience were the most significant predictors of terminal care attitude. These explained 30.3% of their terminal care attitude. Conclusion: Death-related education is needed throughout the curriculum including not only death but also resilience to develop emotional competences. In this way, nursing undergraduates will be better prepared to cope positively and constructively with the suffering and death they encounter, and thus may minimize the distress they experience in the patients' dying process. It may also create a significant positive increase in their terminal care attitude.

현장관리중심 교육훈련프로그램의 방문건강관리 이해도 및 업무수행능력 인식에 대한 효과 (Effects of the Field Management Training Program for Home Care Services : Understanding and Professional Competence)

  • 본 연구는, 2007년 맞춤형으로 강화된 방문건강관리를 시작하면서, 기존 방문보건사업의 문제점으로 지적되어왔던 인력활용에 문제점을 개선하고자 사업관리자들을 대상으로 사전 실시한 현장중심교육훈련에 대해 부분적으로나마 평가를 하기 위해 수행되었다. 본 연구의 평가결과가 교육훈련 전반에 대해 해석되기에는 무리가 있겠으나, 가장 중요한 이해도 및 업무수행능력 측면에서 평가를 시도하였다는 데 의의가 있다고 하겠다. 연구결과 이해도 및 업무수행능력 모두 교육훈련 전 후에 의미 있는 변화를 보였다. 대상자의 업무관련 경력 및 간호직으로서의 전문성 여부와는 상관없이 교육훈련의 효과가 나타났으나, 교육훈련을 실시한 권역별로는 효과의 차이가 있었다. 한편 사업에 대한 이해도는 업무수행능력에 원인적 연관관계가 있었다. 이런 자료 분석결과를 바탕으로 현장관리중심으로 이루어진 방문건강관리 교육훈련프로그램의 운영 및 평가에 대한 제언을 하고자 한다. 첫째, 실무현장관리에 초점을 둔 본 교육훈련 프로그램은 효과가 있었던 것으로 나타났으므로 이를 지속적으로 운영하되, 교육훈련 2차, 3차에 대한 평가 결과와의 비교분석을 통해 강화방안을 확인할 필요가 있다. 본 연구는 새롭게 구성된 사업이 시작되기 전에 이루어진 교육훈련에 대한 평가로, 지속적인 교육훈련에서도 동일한 결과를 보일 것으로 확대 해석하는 데는 무리가 있을 것이기 때문이다. 한편 사업이 정착되면서 교육훈련은 신규 관리자와 기존관리자를 구분하여 이원체계로 운영되는 것이 바람직할 것인데, 이들 각각에 적용될 별도의 평가도구를 개발할 필요가 있을 것이다. 둘째, 모든 권역에서 동일한 수준의 교육훈련 프로그램이 제공될 수 있도록 해야 하며, 그 전에 모든 권역을 분석대상에 포함시키고 다른 측면에서도 교육효과의 차이를 평가해 볼 필요가 있을 것이다. 본 연구에서는 교육훈련의 효과가 권역별로 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났으나, 대상자 수등의 한계로 전체 권역을 분석하지는 못하였다. 셋째, 본 연구의 분석대상은 맞춤형 서비스를 위한 교육훈련 프로그램이다. 따라서 교육훈련도 맞춤형 서비스에 걸맞게 이루어져야 할 것이다. 지역의 환경 및 주민의 특성을 고려한 맞춤형서비스가 교육훈련 내용에 반영될 수 있도록 전국 규모의 일률적인 교육훈련 외에, 지방 단위의 교육훈련이 필요할 것이다. 넷째, 현재 3~4개의 FMTP가 국가 차원에서 이루어지고 있다. 모두 공공보건의료기관의 보건의료인력이라는 동일한 집단을 대상으로 하고 있으며, 교육훈련내용의 큰 틀은 지역보건의료이다. 따라서 교육내용의 상당 부분은 겹치기 마련이며, 동일한 대상자들이 여러 FMTP에 중복 참가하고 있다. 국가적으로 불필요한 예산이 소요될 수 있으며, 거의 의무적으로 참가자를 보내야 하는 보건의료기관은 업무수행에 차질을 가져올 수 있다. 교육훈련에 대한 요구도를 파악한 후 이에 근거하여 교육대상자를 선정하고, 전체 교육훈련과정에 일괄적으로 참여하는 식이 아니라 각자 필요한 부분에 선별적으로 참여할 수 있는 기회를 보장해야 할 것이다. FMTP 경험여부만 확인한 본 연구의 결과가 위의 제언에 대한 근거자료가 되지는 못하는데, 이것은 본 연구의 제한점으로 추후 연구에서는 FMTP 횟수가 교육훈련의 효과가 영향을 미치는지 분석해야 할 필요가 있을 것이다. 한편, 업무수행능력을 구체적으로 조사하지 못하였다. 추후 연구에서는 이를 보강할 필요가 있다. 본 연구를 계기로 보건의료인력 교육훈련프로그램의 평가에 대한 연구 및 논의가 활발히 이루어져, 사업의 효율성뿐 아니라 보건의료서비스 이용의 형평성 제고에 더 큰 기여할 수 있기를바란다.
