  • Let M and N be CR manifolds with nondegenerate Levi forms of hypersurface type of dimension 2m + 1 and 2n + 1, respectively, where 1 $\leq$ m $\leq$ n. Let f : M longrightarrow N be a CR mapping. Under a generic assumption we construct a complete system of finite order for the infinitesimal deformations of f. In particular, we prove the space of infinitesimal deformations of f forms a finite dimensional Lie algebra.

  • It is well-known that an analytic generic CR submainfold M of codimension m in Cn+m is locally transformed by a biholomorphic mapping to a plane Cn$\times$Rm ⊂ Cn$\times$Cm whenever the Levi form L on M vanishes identically. We obtain such a normalizing biholomorphic mapping of M in terms of the defining function of M. Then it is verified without Frobenius theorem that M is locally foliated into complex manifolds of dimension n.

  • Plasmodiophora brassicae, the causal agent of clubroot disease, does the most serious damage to the Brassica crops. The limited control approaches make that the identification of clubroot resistance (CR) is more important for developing CR cultivars of the Brassica crops. So far, 8 CR loci were mapped. However, the variation of P. brassicae leads to the rapid erosion of its resistance. To identify novel CR genes, we employed three mapping population, derived from crosses between Chinese cabbage and turnip inbred lines ($59-1{\times}ECD04$ and $BJN3-1{\times}Siloga$) or between Chinese cabbage inbred lines ($BJN3-1{\times}85-I-II$), to perform QTL analysis. Totally, 8 CR loci were indentified and showed race-specific resistance. Physical mapping of these 8 loci suggested that 4 were located previously mapped position, indicating they might be the same allele or different alleles of the same genes. Other 4 loci were found to be novel. Further, CR near isogenic line carrying each CR locus was developed based on the marker assisted selection. Verification of these CR loci was underway. Identification of these novel CR genes would facilitate to breed broad-spectrum and durable CR cultivars of B. rapa by pyramiding strategies.

  • We explain the notion of complete system and how it naturally arises from the equivalence problem of G-structures. Then we construct a complete system of 3rd order for the infinitesimal CR automorphisms of CR manifold of nondegenerate Levi form.

  • In this paper, we propose a new saturation enhancement algorithm which is processed on the new color space, called Normalized YCbCr(NYCbCr). The algorithm consists of two processing unit. One is color space conversion from YCbCr to NYCbCr, and the other is using adaptive saturation mapping function(ASMF). NYCbCr color space is designed to prevent shortcomings such as luminance and hue shift of YCbCr color space and by saturation enhancement. ASMF is effective to enhance saturation properly for each image and to protect low saturation regions of color images from over-saturation. we verified our method using several color images. Experimental results show that the proposed method enhance the saturation with minimizing Luminance and Hue shift.

  • Internet networks consisting of existing routers show the limits in efficiency of traffic managements. In order to overcome the limits, MPLS System is high speed switching technology and is not based on IP address but based on label was designed. However MPLS system being based on ATM has the difficulties of supporting Qos(Quality of Service). This paper suggested the way to consist a service-assured-network using CR-LDP protocol which was designed for guaranteeing QoS in MPLS system being based on ATM switch and using qGSMP protocol, and the way to implicitly establish LSP by implementing QoS Translation and QoS Mapping in LER System.

  • Inbred lines of Chinese cabbage KU-101 (resistant line against Plasmodiophora brassicae race race 6) and CS-113 (susceptible line) were crossed and their progeny lines F$_1$, BC$_1$F$_1$, F$_2$, and F$_3$ were produced for the construction of the genetic linkage map of R brassicae race 6-resistant Brassica campestris ssp. pekinensis genome. Restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) was applied to compare between parents and their f$_2$ progenies with a total of 192 probes and 5 restriction enzymes. The constructed RFLP map covered 1,104 cM with a mean distance between genetic marker of 8.0 cM, and produced 10 linkage groups having 121 genetic loci. The loci of P. brassicae race 6 (CR6)-resistant Brassica genome were determined by interval mapping of quan-titative trait loci (QTL), which resulted from bioassay using the same race of the fungi in P3 population. Resistant loci were estimated in numbers 1 (Gl) and 3 (G3) linkage groups. In the regression test, Gl had a value of4.8 logarithm of odd (LOD) score, while C3 had values of 4.2-7.2. Given these results, the location of the CR6-resistant loci within the Brassica genome map can now be addressed.

  • This study investigates the microstructural properties of CoCrFeMnNi high entropy alloy (HEA) oxynitride thin film. The HEA oxynitride thin film is grown by the magnetron sputtering method using nitrogen and oxygen gases. The grown CoCrFeMnNi HEA film shows a microstructure with nanocrystalline regions of 5~20 nm in the amorphous region, which is confirmed by high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HR-TEM). From the TEM electron diffraction pattern analysis crystal structure is determined to be a face centered cubic (FCC) structure with a lattice constant of 0.491 nm, which is larger than that of CoCrFeMnNi HEA. The HEA oxynitride film shows a single phase in which constituting elements are distributed homogeneously as confirmed by element mapping using a Cs-corrected scanning TEM (STEM). Mechanical properties of the CoCrFeMnNi HEA oxynitride thin film are addressed by a nano indentation method, and a hardness of 8.13 GPa and a Young's modulus of 157.3 GPa are obtained. The observed high hardness value is thought to be the result of hardening due to the nanocrystalline microstructure.
