  • The Internet affects all economic activities. Physical world business must either adopt new digital strategies, launch new digital business to complement their physical world models, or be forced to completely revise their strategies. The purpose of this paper is to provide a framework that organizes the managerial decision-making process to assist managers in crafting and implementing e-business strategy. We applied the methodology to the case of KNK Educational Institute to explain the process. Core competence of KNK JUNIOR is researched according to our suggested methodology and activities and roles of KNK JUNIOR have been arranged.

  • Korean wedding service market is composed of various interlinked service elements that must be carefully managed in detail. This thesis introduces a new IT based business model which has been operating in this complex wedding service market for the past ten years. By introducing how each business model has been applied to Service Science, it will set a good example for the subsequent research in the similar fields by providing business's actual operation model and examples. Furthermore, this thesis will contribute to the development of both new study of Service Science and a new business model by illustrating how they beneficially affected each other and advanced as a result of applying outcomes of each business model to the development of the current business model.

  • 최근 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서 등장하고 있는 각종 서비스들은 공통적으로 상황인식 컴퓨팅(context-aware computing)의 속성을 갖고 있다. 사용자를 둘러싼 다양한 상황(context)을 인식하여 다른 곳으로 정보를 전송하거나 지능적인(intelligent) 서비스를 제공해주는 것을 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 서비스의 기본 속성이라고 할 때, 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 서비스는 웰빙케어(well-being care) 분야에도 적용될 수 있다. 본 연구는 상황인식 컴퓨팅의 속성을 스트레스 관리를 위한 새로운 서비스에 적용해 봄으로써, 스트레스 정도를 객관적으로 측정할 수 있고 스트레스를 줄여주는 개인화 된 항스트레스(personalized anti-stress) 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 방법을 고안하였다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 스트레스 지수 모델(stress index model)을 개발하고, 스트레스를 측정하여 그에 맞는 항스트레스 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 방법론적인 접근을 시도하였다. 또한, 데모시스템의 테스트를 통해 스트레스 지수 모델의 기술적 구현 가능성을 확인하였다. 뿐만 아니라, 이와 같은 방법들을 사업적 관점에서 실제 적용할 수 있는 방법의 하나로서, 스트레스 측정과 관리를 주 목적으로 하는 u-SMC(Stress Management Center)의 비즈니스 모델을 개발함으로써 스트레스 관리를 위한 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 서비스의 상용화 가능성도 살펴보았다.

  • Due to Web Services' platform and language independent nature, many business corporations have used them for the integration of various applications. However, the growing amount of available Web Services on Web forms a new problem - how to select and recommend an appropriate Web Service that matches the user requirements. In this paper, we investigate recommendation methods in Web Services, and discuss their strength and limitations.

  • 최근 웹 2.0의 도래와 더불어 멀티미디어 콘텐츠 제작 과정에서 사용자의 참여를 장려하기 시작했다. 이에 따라서 멀티미디어 콘텐츠 관련 연구들은 사용자 참여형 환경에 맞추어 맞춤형정보를 제공하는데 연구의 초점을 맞추기 시작했다. 이에 본 연구는 사용자의 요구사항과 개인별 맞춤정보를 제공하기 위한 방법론을 정리하고 분석함으로써 적용 방안을 사용자가 적극적으로 웹 콘텐츠 제작 과정에 참여하여 해당 콘텐츠의 카테고리 및 정의를 설정할 수 있는 환경을 마련하여 사용자의 선택의 폭을 확장하며, 콘텐츠 제작에 참여할 수 있는 환경을 마련해줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

업무성과에 영향을 미치는 정보시스템의 특성에 관한 실증연구 : 회계정보시스템을 중심으로 (Characteristics of Information System that Affect Business Performance : Focusing on Accounting Information System)

  • As having analyzed an advance research that had looked into how characteristics of information system affect use and success of the concerned system, the study determined that system quality, information quality and service quality are the fundamental requirements for a good accounting information system. In addition, based on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use that have been selected as major variables related to information system acceptance proposed by Davis[10], the study conducted an empirical analysis on how such factors would influence performance of the accounting information system. According to the results from the analysis, the system quality one of the characteristics of the accounting information system was observed to have a significant influence on the perceived ease of use while both the information quality and the service quality would positively affect the perceived usefulness. Not only that, the perceived ease of use and the perceived usefulness were confirmed to be a significant factor to the performance, and with those results, all the theses of the study have been selected. As proved even with the information system success model, the system quality, the information quality and the service quality are definitely the most necessary elements for business management, and it also turned out that those elements would play an important role in several stages of the information system.

Customer Perspective Analysis on Ubiquitous Healthcare Services

  • While ubiquitous healthcare (u-health) services were expected to propagate along with conventional healthcare services, recent progress indicated rather limited market acceptance. In this paper, we investigated the fundamental causes of why the consumer acceptance level of u-health services has been low. We draw upon innovation adoption theories to analyze the consumer readiness of the typical u-health services. The comparative analysis between innovative u-health services and conventional services was performed using analytic hierarchy process (AHP). Subsequently, policy and business implications including technological breakthrough insights were discussed based on the customer perspective comparative adoption analysis. The propositions captured through this study provide useful insight to further studies on u-health services.

소비자의 UCC 참여 유형과 참여동기 분석 (Consumer's Types of the Participation and the Motivation for the UCC Services)

  • This study identifies key determinants and types of participation in UCC Services. The research examines the how the major factors in perception of social presence, fun and entertainment, self-expression, arousal, human relations, positive feedback, information sharing, monetary business opportunity, and user friendliness of web structure contribute to participation in UCC Services. The data used in this study were collected by a web-based survey so that 629 internet users were available for analysis. Some of the practical implications of the results are follows. We have categorized that the type of people participating in UCC Services were readers, modifiers, remixers, and creators. Digital consumers directly connected with other consumers by producing their own digital contents. Multiple regression analysis among the creators group was not included due to small sample size. Self expression, fun and joy and the convenience of the web interface showed strong positive significant impacts on the UCC Service participation of all participation types. Information sharing, other's positive reputation and arousal showed a positive significant impact on the modifiers or remixers type groups. Monetary business opportunity and human relations were not significant in any UCC type group.

Developing Ubiquitous Computing Service Model for Family Restaurant Management

  • The purpose of this study is to seek new u-business services in restaurant management. Using the concept of business model methodology in family restaurant management domain, this study identifies customers' needs in services at the stage of management of purchase of materials, the production management, and the sales management. In addition, this study suggests two killer applications of a family restaurant management linking with the latest ubiquitous computing technologies: the service of the customer-oriented menu recommendation and the service of the inventory-oriented menu recommendation. These findings may offer practical insights in the context of ubiquitous service model of restaurant management.

고객군의 지리적 패턴 발견을 위한 데이터마트 구현과 시각적 분석에 관한 연구 (Buying Pattern Discovery Using Spatio-Temporal Data Mart and Visual Analysis)

  • Due to the development of information technology and business related to geographical location of customer, the need for the storage and analysis of geographical location data is increasing rapidly. Geographical location data have a spatio-temporal nature which is different from typical business data. Therefore, different methods of data storage and analysis are required. This paper proposes a multi-dimensional data model and data visualization to analyze geographical location data efficiently and effectively. Purchase order data of an online farm products brokerage business was used to build prototype datamart. RFM scores are calculated to classify customers and geocoding technology is applied to display information on maps, thereby to enhance data visualization.
