  • Recently, there are two important research trends in the literature the red-time collaborative computing end electronic business process automation. This paper is one of those efforts that would establish an effective business office working and computing environment hough the integration of those two cutting-edge technologies. That is, we try to develop a workflow modeling tool that is semantically based upon the information control net(ICN), which is a typical workflow model for specifying office work procedures(business processes), and that is systemically based upon the real-time collaborative operations by a set of actors, which is called group, We name it "group ICN editor". This paper describes the design and implementation of the group ICN editor that is operable under the real-time collaborative computing environment. We use the Flexible rJAMM toolkit that enables the ICN editor to operate among multiple actors(group) through the event-driven collaboration platform, Consequently, a set of workflow and business processes defined through this editor is not only stored onto database but also transformed into the format of the workflow process definition language(WPDL) that is a standardized workflow description and specification language proposed by the workflow management coalition(WfMC).ion(WfMC).

  • For the smooth implementation and success of smart city projects, it is necessary to recognize that there is a difference in the perception of value judgments or strategic goals among major stakeholders in the planning process. And it is necessary to aim the values and goals of smart cities through reconciliation of these differences. The two major stakeholders in the smart city development project are citizens group and government officials group. Government officials are in charge of establishing and implementing policies for smart city projects, and their value judgments and perceptions influence the policy direction. In these respects, government officials can be an important stakeholder group. Citizens are a group that includes ordinary residents and business owners who live in smart cities and are the ultimate users of infrastructure and facilities. This study investigated the importance perceptions of citizens and government officials, who are the major stakeholders, about the core values and strategic goals that the smart city project aims. Responses were collected using a structured questionnaire to which the AHP methodology was applied. And the priority of perceptions for constituent items was compared for each stakeholder group. Through the comparative analysis results, it was empirically confirmed that there is a difference in the values and goals pursued by the smart city project between stakeholder groups. As an empirical study on the stakeholders of the smart city project, this study is meaningful in contributing to the theoretical development in that it suggests that the conceptual structural model of the smart city strategy system presented in previous studies can be applied in practice.

  • Purpose: In order to improve the audit quality of a company, an in-depth analysis is required to categorize the audit report in the form of a text document containing the details of the external audit. This study introduces a systematic methodology to extract keywords for each group that determines the differences between groups such as 'audit plan' and 'interim audit' using audit reports collected in the form of text documents. Methods: The first step of the proposed methodology is to preprocess the document through text mining. In the second step, the documents are classified into groups using machine learning techniques and based on this, important vocabularies that have a dominant influence on the performance of classification are extracted. In the third step, the association rules for each group's documents are found. In the last step, the final keywords for each group representing the characteristics of each group are extracted by comparing the important vocabulary for classification with the important vocabulary representing the association rules of each group. Results: This study quantitatively calculates the importance value of the vocabulary used in the audit report based on machine learning rather than the qualitative research method such as the existing literature search, expert evaluation, and Delphi technique. From the case study of this study, it was found that the extracted keywords describe the characteristics of each group well. Conclusion: This study is meaningful in that it has laid the foundation for quantitatively conducting follow-up studies related to key vocabulary in each stage of auditing.

  • The purposes of this study were to examine the relationship among vanity, selfconsciousness, and brand consciousness. The subjects used for this study were three hundred and eighty-four female college students who live at Seoul and its suburb. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, Cronbach's alpha, Pearson's correlations, and t-test were used. All instruments which were used for this study showed over 0.85 for Cronbach's alpha values. As the results, first, there were significant correlation relationships among vanity, self-consciousness, and brand consciousness in female college students. Second, there were significant differences between high self-consciousness group and low selfconsciousness group on vanity and two vanity variables such as physical view vanity and physical concern vanity. High self-consciousness group had higher scores on total vanity as expected. Also high self-consciousness group had higher scores on physical view vanity and physical concern vanity than low self-consciousness group. Finally, there were significant differences between high self-consciousness group and low self- consciousness group on brand consciousness. That is, compared to low self-c onsciousness group, high self-consciousness group showed higher brand consciousness significantly. Based on these results of this study, fashion brand management marketing strategies such as consumer-brand relationship marketing would be provided to fashion marketers or fashion retailers.

  • This study investigates the presence of the day-of-the-week anomaly in exchange rate for 30 developing countries with free floating exchange rate regimes using daily data from January 2, 2011 to December 31, 2019. First, we apply the GARCH panel to estimate the intraday effect for all the sampled countries. Second, we run poolability test to check whether the coefficients of the GARCH panel are the same for all countries sampled. The result of poolability test rejects the homogeneity assumption. This implies that our sample countries contain heterogeneity. Third, we apply mean-group estimation by averaging the coefficients for all individual GARCH estimations. Fourth, we divided our sample of developing countries into three groups based on capital restriction index for the reason that the effect of monetary policy on the exchange rate depends on the degree of capital account liberalization. The empirical evidence for the return equation suggests that Mondays are connected with lower volatility whereas Thursdays experiences higher return compared to Tuesdays. The lowest estimated coefficient for full sample, group 1 and group 2, is Friday, but for group 2 is Thursday. We find similar result for the volatility equations, which show that Monday returns are lower compared to Tuesday.

  • Nowaday, management of research and development(R&D) projects is focused on promotion of performance-centric R&D by market and customer-oriented R&D and commercialization, and this tendency is also appeared in national R&D projects. For the commercialization of R&D outcomes, market demand-centric R&D, establishment of commercialization plan in R&D planning and carrying out phase, and communication with external stakeholders are needed, and these activities can be performed more effectively by developing business model. However, systematical procedure for developing business model in national R&D environment haven't suggested by prior researches. Therefore, we propose a business model development system that is reflect characteristics of national R&D environment and perspectives of technology researchers and commercialization experts. Research result is expected to be usefully applied as a guideline for developing business model in national R&D projects.

  • The governmental R&D projects have put a great emphasis on returns on R&D investment through development of market- and customer-oriented technologies and their commercialization. A successful commercialization of the technology developed from a R&D project relies on development of the technology intriguing customers, establishment of effective commercialization strategies throughout the stages of R&D planning and development, and interactive communication between the technology developer and a private company that will do a business with the technology. The business modeling helps accomplish the requirements for the successful commercialization. The past literature about technology commercialization does not provide a systematic procedure in developing a business model for the governmental R&D project. In this study, we proposed a systematic procedure developing a business model integrating peculiar characteristics of governmental R&D and viewpoints of technology developers and professionals of technology commercialization. It can be a useful guideline for developing a business model for the governmental R&D project.
