기중 부싱모델의 오염물질에 따른 방전 특성과 자외선 이미지 (Discharge Characteristics and UV Images at Air on Bushing Model with Contaminations)

  • A bushing is very important because it must supply the high voltage to the power equipment. Generally, the surface of bushing is contaminated with rain, dust, salt and others. A bushing with contaminations at air are serious problem in insulation. Therefore, it is important to understand the inspection and diagnoses of the safety. The ultra-violet rays(UV) camera has attracted interest from the view point of easy judgement. In this paper, we will report on the corona discharge characteristics on bushing model with contaminations. Also, UV images of discharge in air are analyzed using prototype UV camera of Korea. These results are studied at both AC and DC voltage under a non-uniform field.

자동차 부싱에 대한 Pipkin-Rogers 모델의 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study of Pipkin-Rogers Model for Automotive Bushing)

  • An automotive bushing is a device used in automotive suspension systems to reduce the load transmitted from the wheel to the frame of the vehicle. A bushing is a hollow cylinder, which is bonded to a solid steel shaft at its inner surface and a steel sleeve at its outer surface. The relation between the force applied to the shaft and the relative deformation of a bushing is nonlinear and exhibits features of viscoelasticity. In this paper, an automotive bushing is regarded as nonlinear viscoelastic incompressible material. Instron 8801 equipment was used for experimental res earch and ramp-to-constant displacement control test was used for data acquisition. Displacement dependent force relaxation function was obtained from the force extrapolation method and expressed as the explicit combination of time and displacement. Pipkin-Rogers model, which is the direct relation of force and displacement, was obtained and comparison studies between the experimental results and the Pipkin-Rogers results were carried out.

  • 고무부싱은 차량부품들을 서로 연결하고 차체로 전달되는 진동을 줄여주는 역할을 하는 중요한 요소로써 가진변위와 주파수에 대해서 모두 비선형 특성을 보이며, 특히 주기적인 가진에 대해 히스테리시스 현상을 나타낸다. 본 논문에서는 1축 내구시험기를 이용하여 차량 현가 장치에 사용되는 부싱을 축 방향과 반경 방향에 대해 사인가진과 랜덤가진을 주어 특성을 살펴보았고 이러한 특성을 반영할 수 있는 동역학적 모델을 인공신경망을 이용하여 개발하였다. 실험결과는 신경망의 입력자료로 활용되었고, 오차역전파 알고리즘을 이용하여 실험적 부싱모델을 개발하였다. 개발된 실험적 부싱모델을 차량 시뮬레이션에 적용하여 유용성을 살펴보았다.

  • 본 논문에서는 고무 부싱의 등가 강성이 가진 크기와 가진 주파수에 따라 달라지는 동특성에 대해 연구하였다. 새로운 모델은 고부 부싱의 대변형 거동과 크기 효과를 설명하기 위해 제안하였다. 제안된 제안된 모델은 탄성(Elastic) 요소, 점성(Viscous) 요소, 마찰(Friction) 요소로 이루어진 응력항과 등가변형률로 구성되어 있다. 제안된 모델은 실험 결과를 통해 검증하였다. 실험 검증을 통해 제안된 모델은 다양한 가진 크기와 가진 주파수에 따른 고무 부싱의 등가 강성을 정확히 예측함을 확인할 수 있다. 제안된 모델은 자동차 산업에서 고무 부싱의 동적 등가강성을 예측하는데 사용할 수 있을 것으로 예상한다.

  • A common problem in many fields of cryogenic power engineering is to apply high voltage to cold parts of superconducting equipment. In many of these cases a bushing provides electrical insulation for the conductor which makes the transition from ambient temperature to the cold environment. The cryogenic high voltage bushing for the 154kV, 100MVA high temperature superconducting(HTS) transformer is described. The bushing is energized with the line-to-ground voltage between the coaxial center and outer surrounding conductors, in the axial direction there is a temperature difference from ambient to about 77 K. For the insulation design of cryogenic bushing, the arrangement of condenser cone and electrical insulation characteristics of GFRP, Air, $LN_2$ and $GN_2$ were discussed in this paper.

  • In recently designed diesel engines, the running conditions for piston-pin bearings have become severe because of the higher combustion pressure and increased temperature. Moreover, the metal removal from the bushing material has strongly reduced the ability of the antifriction material to accept asperity contacts. Therefore, it is necessary to find ways of reducing wear scar on the connecting-rod small-end bushing and piston-pin boss bearing related to the higher combustion pressure on the power cell of an engine. In this work, the position and level of material removal from the surfaces of the bushing and bearing under such severe operating conditions - for example, maximum power and torque conditions of a passenger car diesel engine - are estimated for several combinations of surface roughness. First, piston-pin rotating motion is investigated by calculating the friction coefficient at piston-pin bearings, the oil film thickness, and the frictional torques induced by hydrodynamic shear stress. Subsequently, the wear scarring on the surfaces of a connecting-rod small-end bushing and two piston-pin boss bearings related to piston-pin rotational motion is numerically calculated under the maximum power and torque operating conditions. This work is helpful to determine the reasonable surface roughness of the bushing and bearing for reducing wear volume occurring at the interface between a bearing and a shaft.

The Investigation on Thermal Aging Characteristics of Oil-Paper Insulation in Bushing

  • Bushing is the key link to connect outer and inner insulating systems and also the essential electric accessory in electric power system, especially in the high voltage engineering (AC 1000kV, DC 800kV). This paper presented the experimental research of thermal aging characteristic of oil-paper insulation used in bushing. A thermally accelerated aging experiment at 90℃ was performed. The bushing models containing five layers of paper were sealed into the aging vessels and further aged for 250 days. Then several important parameters associated with the aging were observed and evaluated. The results showed that the degree of polymerization (DP) of papers gradually decreased. The DP values of outermost layer and middle layer fit well into the second-order kinematic model and first-order kinematic model, respectively. Less deterioration speed of the inter-layer paper than outer layer was confirmed by the variation of DP. Hydrolysis was considered as the main cause to this phenomenon. In addition, the logarithm of the furfural concentrations in insulation oil was found to have good linear relationship with DP of papers. Interestingly, when the aging time is about 250 days and DP is 419, the aging process reaches an inflection point at which the DP approaches the leveling off degree of polymerization (LODP) value. Both tanδ and acid number of oils increased, while surface and volume resistivity of papers decreased. The obtained results demonstrated that thermal aging and moisture absorbed in papers brought great influence to the degradation of insulating paper, leading to rapid decrease of DP and increase of the tanδ. Thus, the bushing should be avoided from damp and real-time monitoring to the variation of tanδ and DP values of paper is an effective way to evaluate the insulation status of bushing.

  • 자동차 부싱은 차체로 전달되는 하중을 줄여주는 역할을 하는 자동차 현가장치의 주요 부품으로 바깥쪽 슬리브와 안쪽의 축 사이에서 가운데가 비어 있는 실린더의 형상을 가진다. 차축에 작용되는 힘과 모멘트에 대한 부싱의 상대변위 및 변형각도는 점탄성 성질을 나타내며, 부싱에서 힘과 모멘트와 이에 대한 변위와 변형각도의 관계는 다물체 동역학 시뮬레이션에 매우 중요하다. 본 연구는 자동차 부싱의 회전방향 모드에 대한 모멘트와 변형각도의 점탄성 관계를 변형각도에 의존하는 모멘트 완화함수를 통하여 부싱모델을 완성하였으며, 완성된 점탄성 부싱 모델은 회전방향 모드에 대한 실험값과 비교하여 검증하였다.

  • In order to compute the forces which are transmitted through rubber bushings with a commercial multibody dynamic analysis (MBDA) program, a rubber bushing model is needed. The rubber bushing model of MBDA programs such as DADS or ADAMS is the Voigt model which is simply a parallel spring-viscous damper system, meaning that the damping force of the Voigt model is proportional to the frequency. However, experiments do not necessarily support this proportionality. Alternatively, the viscoelastic characteristics of rubber bushings can be better represented by the complex stiffness. The purpose of this paper is to develop a viscoelastic rubber bushing model for the MBDA programs. Firstly, a methodology is proposed to calculate the complex stiffness of rubber bushings considering static and dynamic load conditions. Secondly, a viscoelastic rubber bushing model developed which uses standard elements provided by DADS. The proposed methods are applied to the rubber bushings of the lower control arms of a rear suspension of a 1994 Ford Taurus model. Then, the forces computed for the rubber bushing model are analyzed and compared with the Voigt model in time and frequency domains.

Computer Aided Identification of Inter-Layer Faults in Gas Insulated Capacitively Graded Bushing during Switching

  • In a Gas Insulated Substation (GIS), Very Fast Transients (VFTs) are generated mainly due to switching operations. These transients may cause internal faults, i.e., layer-to-layer faults in a capacitively graded bushing as it is one of the most important terminal equipment for GIS. The healthiness of the bushing is generally verified by measuring its leakage current. However, the change in current magnitude/pattern is only marginal for different types of fault conditions. Leakage current monitoring (LCM) systems generate large amounts of data and computer aided interpretation of defects may be of great assistance when analyzing this data. In view of the above, ANN techniques have been used in this study for identification of these minor faults. A single layer perceptron network, a two layer feed-forward back propagation network and cascade correlation (CC) network models are used to identify interlayer faults in the bushing. The effectiveness of the CC network over perceptron and back propagation networks in identification of a fault has been analysed as part of the paper.
