Mathematical concept exists in the structural form, not in the independent form. The purpose of this study is to consider the network which students actually have for the mathematical concept structure related to the properties of derivatives. First, we analyzed the properties of derivatives in 'Mathematics II' and showed the mathematical concept structure of the relations among derivatives, functions, and primitive functions as a network. Also, we investigated the understanding of high school students for the mathematical concept structure between derivatives and functions, and the structure between functions and second order derivatives when the functional formula is not given, and only the graph is given. The results showed that students mainly focus on the relation of 'function-derivatives', the thinking process for direction of derivative and the thinking style for algebra. On this basis, we suggest the educational implication that is necessary for students to build the network properly.

This study Is on the experimental explanation of Intonation of news sentences with focus on the Korean noun phrase, pronounced by announcers. For this, with a basic form as $'{\_}case particle\;+\;{\_}adnominal ending\;+\;Noun'$ which is a common structure in these sentences, we classified NPs according to the added constituents and examined their intonation. And with examining the connection or the breaking of intonation patterns, we described the relation between neighbouring words which build 'a rhythmic unit'.

This paper proposes efficient methods that integrate and execute local plan rules of task agents in a multi-agent environment. In these methods, each agent's plan rules are represented in a network structure, and these networks are then collected by a single task agent to build a integrated domain network, which is exploited to achieve the goal. Agent problem solving by using the domain network enables a concurrent execution of plan rules that are sequential in nature.

This study was conducted to secure the structural safety and to build fundamental data for development of controlled environment facilities in ginseng cultivation. Shading structures of ginseng cultivation were classified with materials, structural forms, and detailed setups. They are wood or steel pipe, single or multi span, and frame or cable type. For structures having representative forms and dimensions, modeling for structural analysis was builded by SAP2000. And there was almost no farm carrying out the environmental management specially.

Metoprolol (MT) is one kinds of adrenergic beta-blockers. Its (S)-enantiomer is known to be more active than the (R). Recently. the x-ray structure of beta-blocker. (S)-propranolol (a-naphthyl analogue), complexed in a mould fungal cellulase. Cel7A. was reported and the (R)-form did not build any complex. And in our previous study the conformation and stability of MT in carboxymethylated beta-cyclodextrin (BCD) complex was determined by NMR. HPLC, UV and electrophoresis measurement. (omitted)

To build a Korean wordnet, we translated semi-automatically the English wordnet PWN into Korean verbs. During this process, we found that some of translation errors are related to the arbitrariness of PWN`s sense distinction in regard to the accusativity/inaccusativity of the same verb form in English. This study presents an empirically based method of remodeling the PWN for Korean wordnet and while revising the PWN`s hierarchical structure, it shows the necessity of classifying the Korean passive verbs as semantically autonomous.

This paper proposes a new scheme of FLR for improving corner breakdown voltage. The major difference from the conventional FLR is to build extra rings and floating field plates in the corner region. In this structure the additional field plate and ring have reduced th electric field at the junction in the corner region. Thus it improves the breakdown characteristics which are critical for obtaining high breakdown voltage.

The properties of concrete damaged by fire change according to the temperature. Diffusion coefficient of chloride ion also can change which affect the life expectation under salt circumstance. Diffusion coefficient was measured by NT BUILD 492 using the concrete specimen damaged by high temperature. FEM analysis was performed to predict the life expectancy which can help to diagnose the concrete diagnose and to design maintenance strategy.

switched reluctance motors and drives are increasingly used in industrial applications due to their robust mechanical structure, low inertia and reduction in the rotor losses. As the motor speed increase turn on angle must be advanced to build up phase current. When C-dump converter is applied to switched reluctance motor, the capacitance of dump C has to have proper value. In this paper advance angle for a switched reluctance motor and capacitance of dump C are investigated. Then proper advance angle and the capacitance of dump-C are propose for the industrial low voltage SR motor.

In order to establish the structural requirements for designing new ${\beta}$-lactam antibiotics it is necessary to build the molecular model of a penicillin binding protein. D-alanyl-D-alanine carboxypeptidase/transpeptidase (DD-peptidase) is a good model for PBPs. The X -ray crystallographic structure of DD-peptidase has been reported at the 1.6${\AA}$ resolution.
