초음파에 의한 평판에서의 임계열유속 증진에 대한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on CHF Enhancement of Plate by Ultrasonic)

  • Augmentation of CHF by ultrasonic is experimentally studied under subcooling pool boiling condition. Experiment is carried out for downward-facing plate with and without the ultrasonic. The working fluid is distilled water. Experimental apparatus is composed of a bath, power supply, test section, ultrasonic generator, DAQ system. Experiment is performed with the subcooling temperature of $5^{\circ}C$, $20^{\circ}C$, $40^{\circ}C$ and the inclined angle of $0^{\circ}$, $10^{\circ}$, $20^{\circ}$, $45^{\circ}$, 90. From the experimental results, it is found that ultrasonic effect enhances CHF of the downward-facing plate. As increasing the degree of subcooling, the rate of CHF increase is enhanced. As increasing the inclined angle, the rate of CHF increase decreases. Also, we can see that the heat transfer mechanism of CHF augmentation is closely connected with the dynamic behavior of bubble generation and departure.

  • The Characteristics of dividing the dispersed bubble, plug, and slug steam-water flow in the horizontal junctions with horizontal branches have been experimentally investigated. The experimental investigation of the separation phenomena in a $45^{\circ}$ horizontal wye with equal pipe inner diameter of 25 mm is presented to provide a data base for the development and verification of the analytical models. The phase separation and pressure distribution in the three legs of each test section are obtained through the set of measurements made in the present work. And the dependence of phase separation on different parameters, such as inlet quality and mass flux, is discussed.

  • Experimental test results of field construction, Cheongju University Educational Liberal Art Building, applying the insulating curing method on slab concrete showed that the quality of concrete in fresh and hardened state satisfied all target values. Temperature history of slab concrete in A and B area secured more than $7.8{\sim}9.2^{\circ}C$ higher than outside atmosphere. After completing certain curing period of time on the surface of the structure, crack occurrence was not found. It is concluded that the preventing vaporization of moisture by the insulating curing method reduces plastic and drying shrinkage as welt as improves durability.

표면 양생시트 조합에 의한 서중콘크리트용 표면 양생공법 (Surface Curing Method of Hot weather Concreting with the Combination of Surface Curing sheets)

  • This paper investigates the temperature history of slab mock-up specimens with various surface curing sheets, in order to determine a favorable surface curing method in hot weather condition. Test showed that insulating double bubble sheets+aluminum foil simultaneously on the upper section of a specimen prevented an increase of sudden temperature and a decrease of vaporization when placed during the hot weather condition. It also secured the high strength in early age. Therefore it is found that using the double bubble sheets+aluminum foil on concrete surface declined the plastic and drying shrinkage and inclined the early strength, thus improving the concrete quality.

저온환경에서의 양생시트 변화에 따른 콘크리트의 온도이력 특성 (Temperature History of the Concrete Corresponding to Various Curing Sheets in the Low Temperature)

  • 본 연구에서는 저온 환경에서 단열양생시트 변화에 따른 콘크리트의 온도이력 및 강도특성을 검토하였다. 실험결과 -5$^{\circ}$C에서 노출과 air cap포장지의 경우 초기 24시간 이내로 콘크리트의 온도가 영하의 온도로 저하되어 초기동해가 발생되었다. 반면, 비닐+부직포의 경우 초기 24시간이내의 최저온도가 약 3$^{\circ}$C로 영상의 온도를 유지하였고 이중버블시트의 경우 약 7$^{\circ}$C로 나타나 양호한 단열 보온성능을 나타내었다. 코어압축강도를 측정한 결과 비닐+부직포와 이중버블시트로 양생한 시험체의 압축강도가 양생초기의 우수한 단열효과로 인해 다른 시험체의 압축강도보다 높게 나타났다.

Immediate Effect of Fabric Ankle Foot Orthosis on Balance in Children With Unilateral Cerebral Palsy

  • Balance control deficits have been indicated to be a primary problem among cerebral palsy (CP) patients. Fabric ankle foot orthosis (AFO) can allow more efficient balance control by facilitating proprioception. The purpose of this study was to investigate the immediate effect of fabric AFO on balance, compared to a barefoot condition in children with unilateral CP. Twelve children with unilateral CP participated in this study. Their balance ability was evaluated using pediatric balance scale and bubble test. Both pediatric balance scale and bubble test showed significant improvement with the use of the fabirc AFO (p<.05). The fabric AFO could improve functional balance ability, and promote better balance among children with unilateral CP. We demonstrated that fabric AFO contributed to improving balance among children with unilateral CP, classified as Gross Motor Function Classification System level I and II. Consequently, fabric AFO might be an assistive device leading to the improvement of balance instead of the typical AFOs.

전투장비 엔진의 캐비테이션 영향에 따른 실린더 라이너의 내구성 강화 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on Improving the Enhanced Durability of Cylinder Liner according to Cavitation Influence of Combat Equipment Engine)

  • Cylinder liners used in diesel engines of combat equipment are prone to cavitation due to wet cooling. The damage caused by erosion and corrosion due to cavitation has a fatal effect on the performance and lifespan of a diesel engine. Therefore, a study was conducted to improve the durability of cylinder liners. Two surface treatment techniques were proposed: nitriding and chrome plating. It was observed that the amount of erosion on the surface of nitride-treated cylinder liners was high because the surface-treated part eroded due to its weak impact resistance against the bubble explosion generated by cavitation. In contrast, the chrome-plated cylinder liner had a lower amount of erosion among the specimens subjected to the accelerated test. These results verified that the resistance of chrome-plated liners against cavitation is high. Therefore, it can withstand the impact of bubble explosion. If the chrome plating thickness is set with reference to the KS standard, an exceptional durability of abrasion, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance can be obtained. If the thickness is set between 120~250㎛, it is expected that the durability of the cylinder liner can be improved. Although a recovery method for corroded cylinder liners is suggested, the proposed method has an inherent risk of crack generation. Therefore, further research is required to solve this problem.

A Novel Approach for Well-Test Analysis of Volatile Oil Reservoirs in Two-Phase Flow Conditions

  • Two-phase flow near the wellbore in volatile oil reservoirs causes complications in well test analysis. In this study, the flow behavior of volatile oil reservoirs below the bubble-point pressure and the potential of radial composite model for interpretation of two-phase well test in volatile oil reservoirs was investigated. A radial composite model was used for two-phase well test analysis. A new procedure was developed to interpret well test data and estimate the radius of the two-phase region. The changes in fluid composition near the wellbore during drawdown test were found to increase the saturation pressure, which affects the saturation profile during build-up. Well test results showed that the radial composite method is a powerful tool for well test characterization and estimation of reservoir parameters. The proposed procedure was able to estimate the reservoir parameters and radius of the two-phase region with acceptable accuracy.

합성곱 신경망을 이용한 컨포멀 코팅 PCB에 발생한 문제성 기포 검출 알고리즘 (A Problematic Bubble Detection Algorithm for Conformal Coated PCB Using Convolutional Neural Networks)

  • 컨포멀 코팅은 PCB(Printed Circuit Board)를 보호하는 기술로 PCB의 고장을 최소화한다. 코팅의 결함은 PCB의 고장과 연결되기 때문에 성공적인 컨포멀 코팅 조건을 만족하기 위해서 코팅면에 기포가 발생했는지 검사한다. 본 논문에서는 영상 신호 처리를 적용하여 고위험군의 문제성 기포를 검출하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 알고리즘은 문제성 기포의 후보를 구하는 단계와 후보를 검증하는 단계로 구성된다. 기포는 가시광 영상에서 나타나지 않지만, UV(Ultra Violet) 광원에서는 육안으로 구별이 가능하다. 특히, 문제성 기포의 중심은 밝기가 어둡고 테두리는 높은 밝기를 가진다. 이러한 밝기 특성을 논문에서는 협곡과 산맥 특징이라 부르고 두 가지 특징이 동시에 나타나는 영역을 문제성 기포의 후보라 하였다. 그러나 후보 중에는 기포가 아닌 후보가 존재할 수 있기 때문에 후보를 검증하는 단계가 필요하다. 후보 검증 단계에서는 합성곱 신경망 모델을 이용하였고, ResNet이 다른 모델과 비교하였을 때 성능이 가장 우수하였다. 본 논문에서 제시한 알고리즘은 정확률(Precision) 0.805, 재현율(Recall) 0.763, F1-점수(F1-score) 0.767의 성능을 보였고, 이러한 결과는 기포 검사 자동화에 대한 충분한 가능성을 보여준다.

외부환경적 가속시혐에 의한 PV모듈의 열화성능 분석 (Analysis of Photovoltaic module's Phenomena of aging with Acceleration Test)

  • In this paper, we examined 10 domestic samples of three different model using thermal, humidity freeze, thermal-endurance and damp heat test under IEC61215 photovoltaic module environmental endurance test condition. Three was almost no changes on power generation. Insulation resistance capacity was much higher than judgement standard but, showed unstable results depending on environmental test items. On external appearance test, there were two models which showed bubble, humidity penetration, seal melted frame phenomenon. From this results, the degree of aging under the external environment is a main cause that shortens photovoltaic module life time. So it is considered that the efforts for finding optimum condition of manufacturing process should be needed.
