  • In this study, using the double bubble sheet to anti-freezing method in winter the soil embanking Mock up as a part of the development process was carried out. As results, two layers of the double bubble sheet effect 12.6℃~13.8℃ temperature difference of out door temperature that proved superior insulation and thermal performance of the double bubble sheet.

  • This paper is to compare the temperature history of the concrete using existing curing sheet and developed curing sheet made with double layered bubble sheet subjected to clod climate. Field application was conducted. According to results, application of developed curing sheet makes the temperature of curing house and concrete higher than existing curing sheet by about 3℃. This is due to the lower thermal conductivity of developed curing sheet.

  • This study is to investigate the temperature history over time of the cement mortar to confirm the bubble sheet insulation effect using the heat generat sheet. As a result of the experiment, it was confirmed that the heating effect was 6℃ higher on average than other types of sheets when the heating sheet is attached on the bottom of the double layered bubble sheet. For future research, it is planned to verify the heating performance by using the heating sheet under the same environmental conditions as the heating performance will be verified.

  • This research team has developed single silk white bubble sheets to be used as surface sheath curing material for spring, summer, and autumn. But though its effects for spring and autumn temperature conditions have been proved, there haven't been any studies for summer temperature conditions. Therefore in this study, single silk white bubble sheets and single silk transparent bubble sheets as well as aluminum metalizing single silk bubble sheets have been applied to actual box-frame apartment slabs in construction, in order to compare temperature backgrounds of the concrete and other qualities. Upon application, the temperature of concrete cured in summer temperature conditions showed excellent scores, being the lowest for aluminum metalizing single silk white bubble sheets, then single silk transparent bubble sheets. But the aluminum metalizing single silk bubble sheet gave off a harmful glare, so for actual use, white single silk bubble sheets are recommended.

  • The air-bubble sheet has been widely used to wrap fragile products for long-distance transportation. The further usage of the air-bubble sheet as a thermal-insulation material for the reduction of the thermal conductivities of window systems has occurred because of its low price, in addition to its thermal-conductivity properties. In this study, the thermal performances of a variety of commercial air-bubble sheets according to various applications were evaluated. The experiments were performed with single-glazed and double-glazed windows and three types of air-bubble sheets of different air volumes. U-values are used and were calculated for the determination of the thermal performances that are based on the KS F 2278. The maximum decrease of the U-value was measured as 1.092 when a sheet was attached onto the frame of single-glazed window. The square-like air-bubble sheet that contains the largest air volume shows the highest thermal-resistance value. Double layers of the air-bubble sheets show better performances than those of the single layers on both sides of the windows.

  • In this paper, the temperature history and the strength development of concrete corresponded to various bubble sheets layer and curing temperature. Based on the results, In case of the test temperature of -5℃, concrete subject in the exposure condition, result in a frost damage at initial stage by a fall of below zero temperature. In case of the combination of PE film and non woven fabric was after 36 hour, and combination of bubble sheet over double, a tremendous insulating effect of bubble sheet over double is confirmed due to the temperature of concrete fall of below zero temperature after 60 hours. Meanwhile, regarding the -15℃ of temperature, special measure for insulation curing is necessary to secure stability against early frost damage because frost damage was not affected by the lapping thickness of bubble sheet subjected to severe cold weather condition.

  • This study investigate the hydration heat history with variation of surface insulating material in cold weather concreting. According to the results, the temperature of concrete lowers below zero in 24hours, so early frost damage occurs in the case of exposure and 1 fold bubble sheet, but the lowest temperature keeps above zero, so a adiabatic effect is very favorable in the case of double bubble sheet and 부직포. Compressive strength of core specimen at 7 and 28 days is highest In the case of double bubble sheet and 부직포. But, considering convenience of construction and economical efficiency, it is thought that the most effective surface insulating material is 1 fold bubble sheet +blanket.

  • This study investigates the temperature history of slab mock-up specimens for hot weather concreting applying various surface insulating methods, in order to improve concrete quality at hot weather condition. Test showed that the use of insulating blanket or a bubble sheet on upper section of slab prevented from abrupt increase of temperature and vaporization of moisture during early curing at hot weather circumstance. In addition, it secured higher strength at early age. Therefore it is concluded that concrete construction insulating with the bubble sheet will reduce the plastic and drying shrinkage as well as improve strength at early age, thus securing concrete duality.

  • The study is compared temperature history and strength of concrete followed by covering method of insulation curing of cold weather concrete with double bubble sheet. The results were as follows. First of all, in temperature history of concrete, the internal temperature of concrete fell down to $0^{\circ}C$ before/after 60 hours, having nothing to do with covering method. The study could see that, when sheet was isolated, it fell down to low temperature quickly in early curing. When the study measured compressive strength of core specimen, there were no large differences among placing methods. However, compressive strength fell down in all ages when sheet was isolated.

  • This study is intended to examine the curing effect of the combination of the bubble sheet on the concrete by analyzing the temperature profile and core strength of the simulated concrete structure. The test results relvealed that the average temperature of the concrete applying photothermal sheet overlapped with the double bubble sheet at the bottom was 23.5℃, which had the highest insulation and insulation effect compared to other types of surface insulation curing sheets, and the core strength increased by up to 56%.
