용천뽕에 개량뽕을 교배하여 채종한 종자가 발아하는 생장점에 0.2% colchicine용액을 적하처리하여 4배성인 4원뽕 11호, 12호, 13호 및 14호를 창성하였으며 그 주요특성은 다음과 같다. 1. 이른봄의 발아개엽기는 개량뽕과 비슷한 중뽕이다. 2. 잎은 대형 또는 중형의 심장형이며 표면은 강강감이 있으며, 잎두께, 잎면적중, 수분율이 2배체에 비하여 증가 되었다. 3. 2배체인 교배모품종에 비하여 평균가지길이는 짧고 마디사이길이와 측지수는 두 모품종의 중간정도이었다. 4. 가지끝마름율은 1.6~2.5%로서 강한 내동성(cold hardiness)을 나타내고 있으므로 내동성이 강한 3배체 육성소재로 유망하다.

To cut down the maintenance expenses at branch lines, the foreign developed countries have developed the low-cost signalling on low-density lines. These examples are FFB(FunkFahrBetrieb) Radio based train operation by German railways(Deutsche Bahn AG), ERTMS REGIONAL by Europe and LOCOPROL system using a GPS. Also, Korea is developing Information and Communication Technology based low-cost signalling on low-density lines. The characteristics of this system are directly controled switch and crossing by driver. For the purpose of this paper, we reviewed the business process for switch and crossing control. Specially, we compared and analysed both methods whether the driver takes control over the operation procedures of switch or the control message is carried by the command of the controller. And by utilizing the instrument of UML, I planned the switch according to the control authority and the operation procedures needed for the control of crossing.

A broad-band 3-dB directional coupler is implemented by using cascaded exponential transmission line as branch lines. Compared with that of the uniform transmission line, the bandwidth of the proposed 3-dB branch-line directional cpoupler increases 2.96 times.

This study was carried out to investigate the characteristics of shattering habit and germination of offtype rice plants collected in Korea which were classified into seven groups based on grain characteristics. In the long-grain red rice group, the short-grain red rice group, the long-grain normal rice group, and the long-grain waxy rice group, the tensile strength of grain and primary rachis branch was relatively low and the fiber cell of the primary rachis branch was short. Characteristics of shattering-related traits and germination in relation to grain and esterase isozyme zymogram type of off-type rice plants. In most lines of the extremely late and sterile rice group, the tensile strength of grain was low, while that of primary rachis branch was high, and the fiber cell was long. However, in the type 1 esterase isozyme zymogram(EIZ) lines among the long-grain normal rice group and the type 6 and 5+6 EIZ plants among the extremely late and sterile rice group, the tensile strength of grain was relatively higher. The long-grain waxy rice group and the type 3 EIZ lines among the long-grain red rice group, showed higher germinability than did cultivars which are known to germinate well even in low-temperature. The other off-type rice group, except for the short-grain waxy rice group and type 1 and 7 EIZ lines among the long-grain normal rice group, had higher germination speed than that of the cultivars.

In this paper, a new size-reduction approach for branch-line coupler is introduced which uses parallel end-shorted coupled lines with lumped capacitors. The characteristic of the new design was analyzed using even-odd mode method, and simulated on HFSS before fabricated on the FR4 epoxy glass cloth copper-clad plat (CCL) PCB substrate at center frequency of 1 GHz. The electrical length of transmission line was reduced to 15 degrees, therefore the size of branch-line coupler was largely reduced approximately maintaining the same characteristic around the stable center frequency. The insertion loss of the branch-line coupler filter was -4.39 dB. The size of the overall hybrid is $20mm{\times}20mm$. Measurements results were well agreed with the simulated ones.

Varactor 다이오드와 branch coupler를 이용한 반사형 아날로그 위상 변위기 설계에 대하여 기술하였다. 1단의 위상 변위기로 위상 변위를 크게 하기 위하여 마이크로 스트립 stub기법을 사용하였으며 2.260GHz 주파수대에서 제작 결과 170$^{\circ}$의 위상이 변화함을 확인하였다. 측정된 삽입손실을 3㏈ 이하이었고. 반사 손실은 12㏈ 이상이었다. 본 논문에서는 설계 기법과 제자 및 실험 결과를 상세히 기술하였다.

In mixed model assembly lines, products are assembled seqeuntially that have different combination of options specified by customers. In just in time (JIT) environment, production smoothing becomes an important issue for sub-lines which supply the necessary parts to each workstation of the assembly line. Another important issue is to avoid line stopping caused by work overload in workstations. To find a sequence which minimizes the costs associated with line stoppage and the option parts inventory level, a nonlinear mixed integer programming is formulated. Recognizing the limit of the Branch and Bound technique in large sized problems, a heuristic solution procedure is proposed. The performance of the heuristic is compared with the Branch and Bound technique through randomly generated test problems. The computational results indicate that on the average the heuristic solutions deviate approximately 3.6% from the optimal solutions.

The polysaccharide (BB-pol) extracted from Bifidobacterium bifidum BGN4 showed growth inhibitory effects on several colon cancer cell lines such as HT-29 and HCT-116. To increase the yield of polysaccharide, B. bifidum BGN4 was cultured in various culture media with different compositions. When B. bifidum BGN4 was cultured in modified MRS broth containing phytic acid, the cells showed increased branch formation and enlarged morphology. The content of total carbohydrate and the ability of adhesion to intestinal epithelial cells were also increased by phytic acid. The polysaccharide obtained from the cells grown in the presence of phytic acid inhibited the proliferation of cancer cell lines such as HT-29 and MCF-7 cells but not normal colon cell line, FHC. Taken together, Bifidobacterium grown in the presence of phytic acid may confer enhanced beneficial function for the host.

이중대역에서 동작하는 브랜치 라인 커플러를 나타낸다. 새로운 설계 구조에서는 단락 스터브가 병렬로 추가된 전송선로가 2개의 주파수에서 $90^{\circ}$의 위상 천이를 구현하기 위하여 사용된다. 제안하는 브랜치 라인의 특성 임피던스와 전기적 길이는 종래의 구조와 비교하여 조정된다. ABCD 행렬 파라미터를 이용하여 설계 방정식을 유도하였다. 설계 개념을 검증하기 위하여 0.8 GHz 및 1.85 GHz에서 동작하는 마이크로스트립 커플러를 제작하고 측정하였다.

The BVR CCD photometry was performed for the globular cluster M13 down to $V=19^m$ over the region from the center to the west 13 arcmin and the CMD of M13 is investigated. The major photometric error in the crowded field which is due to the variation in the sky background was corrected by the median filtering method and the direct sky method. Some characteristics of the CMD of M13 obtained in the present study are as follows: Firstly, the distribution of stars on the CMD is well consistent with the mean lines of Sandage(1970) along the red giant branch(RGB), horizontal branch(HB) and asymtotic giant branch(AGB). Secondly, some gaps exists along the RGB and blue horizontal branch(BHB). Thirdly, the UV-bright stars are more concentrated at the inner region of the cluster.
