  • Schwarz lemma at the non-smooth boundary point for holomorphic self-map on the intersection of two balls in ℂ2 is obtained. At the complex tangent point in the corner of the boundary of the domain, the tangential eigenvalue of the complex Jacobian of the holomorphic map is estimated if the map is transversal.

공차를 고려한 다각형 영역의 내외부 판별 알고리즘 (Tolerance-based Point Classification Algorithm for a Polygonal Region)

  • This paper details a robust and efficient algorithm for point classification with respect to a polygon in 2D real number domain. The concept of tolerance makes this algorithm robust and consistent. It enables to define‘on-boundary’ , which can be interpreted as either‘in-’or‘out-’side region, and to manage rounding errors in floating point computation. Also the tolerance is used as a measure of reliability of point classifications. The proposed algorithm is based on a ray-intersection technique known as the most efficient, in which intersections between a ray originating from a given test point and the boundary of a region are counted. An odd number of intersections indicates that the point is inside region. For practical examples the algorithm is most efficient because most edges of the polygon region are processed by simple bit operations.

무선 센서 네트워크의 경계노드 검출 (Boundary Node Detection in Wireless Sensor Network)

  • 본 논문은 무선 센서 네트워크의 경계노드를 효과적으로 검출하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 경계노드는 센서 네트워크의 외부 경계 또는 홀의 경계에 존재하는 센서이다. 제안한 알고리즘은 센서의 위치정보만을 이용하여 네트워크의 경계노드를 검출한다. 또한 검출 속도를 향상시키기 위해 센서는 거리에 따라 근접한 센서와의 중첩영역을 먼저 계산한다. 알고리즘의 동작을 검증하기 위해 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 시뮬레이션에서 현실 세계를 최대한 반영하기 위해 정해진 영역에 여러 개의 장애물을 설치하고 센서의 개수를 500~1500개 범위에서 다르게 배치하였다. 시뮬레이션을 통하여 제안한 알고리즘이 네트워크 외부 및 홀의 경계에 존재하는 경계노드들을 효과적으로 검출하는 것을 확인하였다.

분해모델과 구멍 메움 알고리즘을 이용한 냉장고 내부 용적의 자동 계산 (Automatic Calculation of Interior Volume of Refrigerator by Hole Filling Algorithm)

  • Internal capacity of a refrigerator is an important indicator for design and purchasing criteria. The components facing the internal space may have holes or gaps between parts. In traditional way, design engineers manually remodeled the parts to fill the holes and the gaps for enclosed boundary of the internal space. Then they calculated internal volume by subtracting the assembly of parts from its enclosing volume. However, filling holes and gaps is not an automated process requiring a plenty of labor and time. In this research, we have developed a voxel-based method to estimate the internal volume of a refrigerator automatically. It starts transforming all components facing the interior space into voxels and fills all holes and gaps automatically by the developed hole-filling algorithm to form a completely closed boundary of the assembly. Then, it identifies the boundary voxels that are facing to the internal voxels with any part of the component. After getting the intersection points between the boundary voxels and the surfaces of components, it generates the boundary surface of triangular facets with the intersection points. Finally, it estimates the internal volume by adding volume of each tetrahedron composed of a triangle of boundary surface and an arbitrary point.

GEOMETRIC CHARACTERIZATION OF q-PSEUDOCONVEX DOMAINS IN ℂn

  • In this paper, we investigate the notion of q-pseudoconvexity to discuss and describe some geometric characterizations of q-pseudoconvex domains ${\Omega}{\subset}{\mathbb{C}}^n$. In particular, we establish that ${\Omega}$ is q-pseudoconvex, if and only if, for every boundary point, the Levi form of the boundary is semipositive on the intersection of the holomorphic tangent space to the boundary with any (n-q+1)-dimensional subspace $E{\subset}{\mathbb{C}}^n$. Furthermore, we prove that the Kiselman's minimum principal holds true for all q-pseudoconvex domains in ${\mathbb{C}}^p{\times}{\mathbb{C}}^n$ such that each slice is a convex tube in ${\mathbb{C}}^n$.

입계부식시험에 영향을 주는 시험변수에 관한 연구 (A Study on Test Variables Effected on Grain Boundary Etching Test)

  • Recently the non-destructive test technique which uses the grain boundary etching characteristics owing to the variation of material structures has been proposed. However, during in-serviced GEM test there are a lot of variables such as the changes of temperature and concentration of etching solution, the roughness condition of surface polished etc.. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the influences of these test variables on GEM test results in order to establish a reliable and sensitive of GEM evaluation technique. The experiments are conducted in various solution temperatures, 10$\^{C}$, 15$\^{C}$, 20$\^{C}$, and 25$\^{C}$ and in 70% and 100% concentrations of that, and in various surface roughnesses polished by #800, #2000, and 0.3㎛ alumina powder. Through the test with variables, it is verified that the decrease of temperature and concentration of etching solution and the coarsened surface roughness by not using polishing cloth and powder induce some badly and/or greatly influences on GEM test results like grain boundary etching width(W$\_$GB) and intersecting point ratio(N$\_$i/N$\_$0/). Therefore, to get reliable and good GEM test results, it must be prepared the surface of specimen polished by polishing cloth and 0.3㎛ alumina powder and the saturated picric acid solution having 25$\^{C}$ and be maintained the constant temperature(25$\^{C}$) during GEM test.

블록 변환을 이용한 문서 영상의 기울어짐 교정 (Skew Correction for Document Images Using Block Transformation)

  • Skew correction for document images can be using a rotational transformation of pixel coordinates. In this paper we propose a method which corrects the document skew, by an amount of $\theta$ degrees, using block information, where the block is defined as a rectangular area containing adjacent black pixels. Processing speed of the proposed method is faster than that of the method using pixel transformation, since the number of floating-point operations can be reduced significantly. In the proposed method, we rotate only the four corner points of each block, and then identify the pixels inside the block. Two methods for inside pixel identification are proposed; the first method finds two points intersecting the boundary of the rotated block in each row, and determines the pixels between the two intersection points as the inside pixel. The second method finds boundary points based on Bresenham's line drawing algorithm, using fixed-point operation, and fills the region surrounded by these boundaries as black pixels. We have measured the performance of the proposed method by experimenting it with 2,016 images of various English and Korean documents. We have also proven the superiority of our algorithm through performance comparison with respect to existing methods based on pixel transformation.

개선된 격자기반 적합 표면입자법을 이용한 자유표면유동 수치해석 (Numerical Analysis of Free-Surface Flows Using Improved Adaptable Surface Particle Method Based on Grid System)

  • In this study, the method of determining the state of grid points in the adaptable surface particle method based on grid system developed as a free-surface tracing method was improved. The adaptable surface particle method is a method of determining the state of the grid point according to the shape of the free-surface and obtaining the intersection of the given free-surface and grid line where the state of the grid point changes. It is difficult to determine the state of grid points in the event of rapid flow, such as collision or separation of free-surfaces, and this study suggests a method for determining the state of current grid points using the state of surrounding grid points where the state of grid point are known. A grid layer value was assigned sequentially to a grid away from the free-surface, centering on the boundary cell where the free-surface exists, to identify the connection information that the grid was separated from the free-surface, and to determine the state of the grid point sequentially from a grid away from the free-surface to a grid close to the free-surface. To verify the improved method, a numerical analysis was made on the problem of dam break in which a sudden collision of free-surface occurred and the results were compared, and the results were relatively reasonable.

입계부식법을 이용한 열화도 평가 프로그램 개발 (Program Development for Material Degradation Evaluation Using Grain Boundary Etching Method)

  • It is very important to evaluate material degradation like temper and carbide embrittlements to secure the reliable and efficient operational conditions and to prevent brittle failure in service. The extent of material deterioration can be accurately evaluated by mechanical test such as impact test or creep test. But it is almost impossible to sample a large specimen from in-service plants. Thus, the material degradation evaluation by a non-destructive method is earnestly required. Recently the non-destructive test technique which uses the grain boundary etching characteristics owing to the variation of material structures has been proposed. However the program for material degradation evaluation using the grain boundary etching method(GEM) in Windows 98 domain doesnt be developed now. The aims of this paper are to develop the program and to complete the new master curve equations for the evaluation of material degradation on in-serviced high temperature components.

CNN 기반 공조 덕트 청소 로봇의 교차점 검출 알고리듬 개발 (Development of a CNN-based Cross Point Detection Algorithm for an Air Duct Cleaning Robot)

  • 건물 내부 공기 순환을 위한 공조 덕트는 장기간 사용 시 오염물질이 내부에 쌓여 인력 또는 로봇이 투입되어 청소가 주기적으로 수행된다. 청소는 작업시간과 인건비 문제를 해결하기 위해 최근 원격 조정으로 로봇을 작동시키는 방법이 사용되고 있다. 하지만 완전 자동화가 아니라 인력 의존적이며 청소 시간 단축에도 한계가 있다. 본 연구는 공조 덕트 청소 로봇 자율 주행을 위해 교차점 검출 알고리듬 개발에 대한 것이다. 자율 주행은 청소 로봇에 장착된 카메라 영상에서 교차점 검출 알고리듬을 통해 추출된 점과 중심점 사이의 거리 및 각도를 계산하여 로봇을 제어하도록 구성된다. 교차점 검출을 위한 데이터는 3D CAD 프로그램을 이용한 공조 덕트 내부 이미지를 Python을 이용해 교차점 좌표 및 두 경계선 각도를 추출하여 생성했다. 검출 알고리듬은 딥러닝 중 CNN 모델이 학습에 사용됐으며 학습 모델은 입력이미지에서 교차점 정보를 추출하며 학습 모델 정확도는 면적과 거리를 이용해 판단했다. 알고리듬 검증을 위해 청소 로봇을 제작했으며 로봇은 몸체, Raspberry Pi, 카메라 및 초음파 센서를 포함한 제어부, 모터와 바퀴를 포함한 구동부로 구성된다. 알고리듬을 탑재한 로봇 청소기 주행 영상을 통해 알고리듬을 검증했다. 향후 공조 덕트뿐만 아니라 에스컬레이터 등 다양한 환경에서 적용 가능할 것으로 기대된다.
