위하수와 비만도의 비교 분석 (Comparative Analysis of the Gastroptosis and Degree of Obesity)

  • 본 연구는 위하수가 비만도에 따른 상관관계를 분석하여 오래 전부터 알려 지고 있는 여성일수록, 마른 체형일수록, 체중이 낮을수록 많다는 것을 현재 시점에서 비교 분석하고자 한다. 2006년도 성인병 건강 검진 대상자 중 부산시 내에 소재 하는 건강검진 시행 의료기관 1개 기관에 내원하는 성인병 건강 검진자 중에서 2006년 1월 1일부터 6월 30일까지 상부위장관조영술을 시행한 성인병 건강 검진자를 대상으로 하였으며, 이 기간 동안 조사된 위하수증 584예와 같은 기관 동안 위하수증이 없는 자 중 무작위로 남, 여 나이 별로 각 73명씩 584예를 선정하였다. 체형은 표준 체중표를 이용하였고 비만도 계산은 Broca식 계산법을 이용하였고 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 여자가 514명/584명, 남자는 70명/584명로 여자가 위하수가 많았다. 2. 위하수는 정상범위($90{\sim}109%$)에서 남(54.3%), 여(56.4%) 같이 가장 많은 것으로 나타났고 다음이 남자는 90% 미만이, 여자는 $110{\sim}119%$로 나타났다. 3. 위하수의 연령별 비만도 분포에서는 $50{\sim}59$세에서 남녀 동일하게 많았다.

Analyses of Plantar Foot Pressure and Static Balance According to the Type of Insole in the Elderly

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate plantar foot pressure and static balance according to the type of insole in the elderly. Methods: Thirteen elderly (mean age: $67.08{\pm}2.25years$, mean height: $159.63{\pm}9.64cm$, mean body weight: $61.48{\pm}9.06kg$) who had no previous injury experience in the lower limbs and a normal gait pattern participated in this study. Three models of insoles of the normal, 3D, and triangle types were selected for the test. The Pedar-X system and Pedar-X insoles, 3.3 km/h of walking speed, and a compilation of 20 steps walking stages were used to analyze foot-pressure distribution. Static balance test was conducted using Gaitview AFA-50, and balance (opening eyes, closing eyes) was inspected for 20 s. One-way ANOVA was conducted to test the significance of the results with the three insoles. p-value of less than .05 was considered statistically significant. Results: The mean foot pressure under the forefoot regions was the lowest with the 3D insole during treadmill walking (p<.05). The mean value under the midfoot was the highest with the 3D insole (left: p<.05, right: p<.01). The mean value under the rearfoot was the lowest with the 3D insole (p<.001). The maximum foot pressure value under the foot regions was the lowest on both sides of the forefoot with the 3D insole. A statistically significant difference was seen only in the left foot (p<.01). The maximum value under the midfoot was the highest with the 3D insole (p<.001). No statistically significant difference was detected on the values under the rearfoot. In the case of vertical ground reaction force (GRF), statistically significant difference was seen only in the left side rearfoot (p<.01). However, static balance values (ENV, REC, RMS, Total Length, Sway velocity, and Length/ENV) did not show significant differences by the type of insole. Conclusion: These results show that functional insoles can decrease plantar pressure and GRF under the forefoot and rearfoot. Moreover, functional insoles can dislodge the overload of the rearfoot and forefoot to the midfoot. However, functional insoles do not affect the static balance in the elderly.

1998 - 2008 발생한 식품안전관련 사건.사고 분석 (The Analysis of Food Safety Incidents from 1998 to 2008 in Korea)

  • 식품안전관련 사건 사고는 점차 대형화되면서 지속적으로 계속 발생하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 1998년 1월부터 최근 2008년 10월까지 국내에서 발생한 주요 식품안전사건사고와 관련하여 다양한 언론매체에서 발표된 자료를 수집하고 그 발생현황에 대한 분석을 시도하였다. 총 1,206건이 발생한 것으로 조사되었으며, 이중 중복내용과 순수 식품안전사건 사고와 관련이 없는 부분을 제외하면 약 11년간 총 569건이 발생한 것으로 조사되었다. 이를 연도별로 보면 평균 51.7건이, 월별로 보면 평균 4.9건이 발생하였다. 주요 원인식품군에 있어 수산식품과 식육 및 육가공품, 과자류, 음료류, 특수영양식품군, 다류, 면류, 장류, 우유 및 유제품 등의 순으로 나타났으며, 식품유형에 있어서는 즉석섭취편의식품, 육류, 과자, 건강보조식품, 침출차, 영아용 조제식 및 육가공품, 인삼제품, 체중조절용 조제식품 등의 순으로 나타났다. 위해요소(원인물질)별로는 화학적 위해요소가 247건(43.4%)으로 가장 많이 발생하였으며, 다음이 생물학적 위해요소로 126건(22.1 %), 물리적 위해요소는 97건(17.0%)의 순으로 나타났다. 위해요소의 발생단계에 대한 분석을 보면, 원료차원에서 가장 많은 364건(64%)이 발생하였고, 다음이 제조가공단계로 151건(26.5%), 유통 및 판매단계가 44건(7.7%)으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서와 같은 자료의 정리 및 분석은 추후 식품안전정책 및 HACCP의무적용 등에 있어 우선적으로 다루어야 할 품목을 선정하는 데 있어 중요한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

성인 남성의 혈압과 식이섭취 실태 및 기타 환경 요인과의 관계에 대한 사례연구 (Correlations among Blood Pressures, Dietary Intakes and Other Environmental Factors in Korean Adult Males)

  • The present survey was designed to investigate correlations among blood pressure, nutritional intakes, and various environmental factors in Korean adult males, and to observe the difference in dietary intakes between hypertensive patients and normotensive subjects. Two hundred forty-three adult men from Seoul and rural areas were interviewed about their food intakes, dietary patterns, food habits, and general environmental factors from December 20, 1982 to February 15, 1983. Their dietary intakes were surveyed by means of 24-hour recall diet method. Dietary score card was used in order to evaluate the quality of routine diet of the subject. Variables of environmental factors and factors related to hypertension were expressed as percentage, and the differences in nutrient intake and food score of each sub-group were examined by means of t-test. Correlation of all the variables were analyzed by Pearsons Correlation Coefficient. The results obtained are summarized as follows: 1. 38% of the subjects were between the ages of 40~49, and about one-half of the subjects were middle or high school graduates. 28% of the subjects earned 210, 000~350, 000 Won per month, and income distribution was almost identical to that of the urban population of Korea. 2. There was more overweight or obese found in the hypertensive patients than in the normotensive subjects. About 40% of the hypertensive patients reported a family history of hypertension, and their knowledge about hypertension was rather poor, but slightly better than the normotensive subjects. The patient group had less adherence to smoking and alcohol compared with the normotensive subjects, but no difference was observed in coffee drinking. The mean value of the blood pressure for the normotensive subjects was 127/86mmHg and 175/109mmHg for the hypertensive group. 3. Nutrient intake for the hypertensive group was lower for most of nutrients than in the healthy group. Hypertensive patients on diet therapy consumed less calories and carbohydrates compared with those who do not follow diet therapy. 4. There was no difference intake of these food groups between patients and the healthy group. Food score was strongly related to consumption of animal protein, saturated fats, Calcium, Iron, Vitamin A, Riboflavin, and Vitamin C, which are prone to be deficient in the typical Korean diet. 5. Blood pressure had a strong positive correlation with age, body weight, and socioeconomic level. In addition, monthly income was positively related with age and education level. 6. Three was a positive relationship between blood pressure and consumption of vegetable protein, and a negative relationship with consumption of Calories, Carbohydrates, Calcium, Iron, Vitamin A, Vitamin B1, Niacin, and Vitamin C. Animal protein intake increased as income and education levels increased, but this tendency was opposite for carbohydrates. In summary, nutritional intakes are strongly correlated with various environmental factors and the level of blood pressure. There was no difference between normotensive and hypertensive subjects with respect to the quality of food consumed except restricting energy and carbohydrate in the patient group.

건강한 한국성인의 음료섭취패턴과 대사증후군의 연관성 연구 -2013~2015년 국민건강영양조사를 바탕으로- (Relation between Beverage Consumption Pattern and Metabolic Syndrome among Healthy Korean Adults)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to describe beverage patterns among healthy Korean adults and investigate their association with prevalence and components of metabolic syndrome. Methods: Subjects consisted of 6,927 Korean adults, aged 19-64 years in the $6^{th}$ Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES, 2013-2015). Beverages were regrouped into twelve groups based on food codes and beverage intake (g/day) was assessed by 24-hour recall. Factor analysis was used to obtain beverage patterns. Waist circumference and body mass index (BMI) were used as anthropometric data; fasting blood glucose, triglyceride, high density lipoprotein (HDL), and blood pressure were used as biochemical indicators. The odds ratio (OR) for prevalence of metabolic syndrome and components of metabolic syndrome was assessed using logistic regression analysis. Results: Three beverage patterns were identified using factor analysis: 1) carbonated soft drinks 2) coffee (without added sugar or powdered creamer), and 3) alcoholic beverages. Subjects with high scores for the carbonated soft drink and coffee without added sugar or powdered creamer patterns were younger and subjects with high scores for the alcoholic beverage pattern were older. There were significant differences in gender distribution in all three beverage patterns, with men more likely to have high scores for carbonated soft drink and alcoholic beverage patterns. On the other hand, women were more likely to have higher scores for coffee without added sugar or powdered creamer pattern. Within each pattern, there were significant differences in sociodemographic and lifestyle characteristics such as education, household income, frequency of eating out, and smoking status according to the quartile of pattern scores. Alcoholic beverages and carbonated soft drinks patterns were associated with an increased levels of metabolic syndrome components, but coffee without added sugar or powdered creamer was not associated with any of metabolic syndrome components in healthy Korean adults after adjusting for age, sex, education, BMI, weight management, household income, smoking status, frequency of eating out, and energy intake. Conclusions: Alcoholic beverages and carbonated soft drinks patterns are associated with increased levels of metabolic syndrome components while coffee without added sugar or powdered creamer pattern is not associated with any of metabolic syndrome components in healthy Korean adults.

조피볼락, Sebastes schlegeli에 경구투여된 oxolinic acid의 약물동태에 미치는 수온의 영향 (Effects of temperature on pharmacokinetics of oxolinic acid in black rockfish, Sebastes schlegeli following oral administration)

  • Oxolinic acid를 사육수온($13{\pm}1.5^{\circ}C$, $23{\pm}1.5^{\circ}C$)에 따라서 조피볼락(평균체중 500 g)에 60 mg/kg의 농도로 1회 경구 투여한 다음, 경시적인 혈청내 잔류농도를 분석하였다. $23{\pm}1.5^{\circ}C$의 경우 투여 후 30시간째($0.60{\mu}g/ml$)에 최대혈중농도에 도달하였다. $13{\pm}1.5^{\circ}C$의 경우 투여 후 10시간째($2.22{\mu}g/ml$) 최대혈중농도에 도달하였다. OA의 조피볼락 혈중내 흡수양상과 소실정도는 사육수온에 크게 영향을 받았다. Two-compartment model로 해석하여 WinNonlin program을 이용, 약물동태학적 매개변수(parameter)를 조사하였다. $23{\pm}1.5^{\circ}C$의 경우, 혈장농도-시간곡선하 면적(AUC)은 $42.16{\mu}g{\cdot}h/ml$, 혈중최고농도의 도달시간(Tmax)은 26.13 h, 혈중최고농도(Cmax)는 $0.43{\mu}g/ml$, 예상약물소실시간(Et)은 230시간으로 계산되었다. $13{\pm}1.5^{\circ}C$의 경우, AUC는 $131.98{\mu}g{\cdot}h/ml$, Tmax는 8.81 h, Cmax는 $2.04{\mu}g/ml$, Et는 492시간으로 계산되었다.

일개 한방병원에 내원한 유방암 환자의 특성 및 치료 분석 (Analysis of the Characteristics and Treatment of Breast Cancer Patients in a Korean Medicine Hospital)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to provide basic information on Korean medical research and treatment through analysis of breast cancer patients, who visited ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$ university Korean medicine hospital. Methods: To analyze characteristics of breast cancer patients who visited korean medicine hospital, we searched medical records from January 1, 2016 to May 13, 2019, and 86 breast cancer patients were analyzed. Results: 1. The general characteristics of the subjects are as follows. The average age was $47.65{\pm}9.62years$ and 40's was the most (46.51%). The average height was $159.78{\pm}4.91cm$ and the average weight was $57.29{\pm}9.34kg$. The average body mass index (BMI) of the patients was $22.40{\pm}3.50kg/m^2$. 2. The stage distribution record indicated stage0 (9.72%), stageI (31.94%), stageII (34.72%), stageIII (20.83%) and stageIV (2.78%). 14 patients with unknown stage were excluded. 3. Before coming to the korean medicine hospital, of the 86 patients, 72 (83.72%) patients received surgical therapy, 55 (63.95%) patients received chemotherapy and 44 (51.16%) patients received radiotherapy. 11 (12.79%) patients chose oriental medicine as their primary treatment option. 4. The mean duration from diagnosis to hospital visit was $13.87{\pm}15.53months$. Among the total 86 patients, 46 (53.49%) patients visited for symptom relief during the follow-up period. 5. The most common symptom was general weakness in 29 (33.72%) patients, followed by hot flash, myalgia, insomnia, digestion disorder, numbness, edema, arthralgia, operation site pain, cold sensation and mastalgia. 6. Among 86 patients, 55 (63.95%) patients received acupuncture and moxibustion together. The most prescribed herbal medicine to subjects was Sibjeondaebo-tang-gamibang and Cheonhye-dan (25%). Conclusions: These results could be helpful to provide basic data on the Korean medical approach of breast cancer patients.

암석의 파괴 확률 분석을 통한 불국사 삼층석탑 구조 안전 진단 (The Structural Safety Diagnosis of Three-Story Pagoda in Bulkuk Temple Using the Probability of Failure.)

  • 경상북도 경주시 불국사 삼층석탑(석가탑)의 구조 안전 진단을 목적으로 탑의 각 부재에 대한 비파괴 정밀 조사가 실시되었다. 암석의 역학적 성질을 추정하기 위하여 전체 44개 부재의 456개 지점에서 초음파 속도를 측정하였다. 측정된 속도의 범위는 1217~4403 m/sec의 분포를 가지며 평균 속도는 3227 m/sec이다. 각 부재의 일축 압축강도가 초음파 속도와의 관계를 나타내는 경험식을 이용하여 구하여 졌으며 범위는 134~844 kg/cm^2이고 전체 평균치는 463 kg/cm^2이다. 암석의 파괴강도가 각 부재에서 정상분포를 보인다고 가정하고 석가탑의 각 부재에 대하여 파괴확률을 구하였다. 각 부재가 상위 하중에 의해 전단 파괴가 일어날 확률을 지극히 미약하지만 부재 사이의 접촉면적이 적어 부분파괴의 가능성이 있으며 실제적으로도 접촉면 부근의 모서리 부근에서 부분파괴가 발생하였다. 본 탑의 기단부는 구조적으로 가장 취약하며 하대갑석의 인장 파괴확률은 6~18%로 나타나며 대부분의 부재에서 대각선 방향으로 한 개 이상의 인장 파괴면이 관찰된다.

A comparison on health-related lifestyle, dietary habits, and depression by exercise frequency of college students

  • BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: The study was performed to investigate health-related lifestyle, dietary habits, and depression according to exercise frequency to understand complex factors that affect effective health management. Thus, exercise frequency, health-related lifestyle, dietary habits, and depression were evaluated in college students in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do areas. SUBJECTS/METHODS: A survey was conducted on college students, aged 19-29, in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do areas from May 13 to May 31, 2020. A total of 594 questionnaires were collected and 566 (269 from males, 297 from females) were statistically analyzed, except 28 with incomplete responses. Collected data were analyzed using SPSS WIN 21.0 program. RESULTS: The sex distribution of the 3 groups according to exercise frequency was significantly different; the ratio of males in over 3 times/week group was significantly higher than those in 1-2 times/week group and no-exercise group (P < 0.001). The height (P < 0.001), weight (P < 0.001), and body mass index (P < 0.05) were significantly higher in over 3 times/week group compared to no-exercise group. The ratio of subjects who answered 'good' or 'very good' for subjective health condition was significantly high in the order of 'over 3 times/week' group (59.1%), '1-2 times/week' group (34.5%), and 'no-exercise' group (25.0%) (P < 0.001). The ratio for meal regularity was high as 56.6% in 'over 3 times/week' group and the ratio for irregular meals was significantly higher in 'no-exercise' group (67.2%) and '1-2 times/week' group (54.9%) (P < 0.001). Among questions on dietary habits, 'Eat meat, fish, egg or beans' (P < 0.01) and 'Eat fruit' (P < 0.01) were significantly higher in 'over 3 times/week' group compared to 'no-exercise' group. 'Drink more than 2 liters of water' (P < 0.001) was 0.70 in 'over 3 times/week' group, which was significantly higher than 0.54 in '1-2 times/week' group and 0.38 in 'no-exercise' group. Moderate depression and severe depression that need treatments were significantly lower in 'over 3 times/week' group (18.7%) compared to '1-2 times/week' group (26.0%) and 'no-exercise' group (29.7%) (P < 0.05). CONCLUSIONS: It is considered that combined intervention for exercise habits, proper dietary habits, and depression management is needed for effective health management.

기계학습모형을 이용한 다분광 위성 영상 기반 낙동강 부유 물질 농도 계측 기법 개발 (Development of suspended solid concentration measurement technique based on multi-spectral satellite imagery in Nakdong River using machine learning model)

  • 하천에서 발생하는 부유 물질은 주로 유역으로부터 유입되거나 하천 내에서 자생으로 발생하기도 하며, 퇴적되어 중장기적인 수질 오염을 초래할 수도 있는 중요한 수질 인자이다. 하지만, 부유물질의 재래식 계측방식은 점 단위 계측이기 때문에 노동 집약적이며 방대한 양의 자료를 취득하기는 어렵다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 고해상도 다분광 위성영상을 제공하는 Sentinel-2 위성 자료를 이용하여 낙동강 전역에 대한 원격탐사 기반 부유 물질 농도 계측 기법을 개발하였다. 개발된 기법은 기존 원격탐사 기반 회귀식들의 한계점을 개선하고 낙동강 전체 영역의 지역적 특성을 반영하기 위해 기계학습 모형인 서포트 벡터 회귀(Support Vector Regression, SVR) 모형을 이용하여 다양한 파장대의 분광 밴드들과 밴드비(band ratios)를 고려하였으며, 이를 입력 변수들의 최적 조합으로 재귀적 특징 제거법(Recursive Feature Elimination, RFE)과 SVR의 각 변수별 가중계수를 활용하여 도출하였다. 가장 중요도가 높은 분광 밴드로는 Red-edge 파장대 영역에 속하는 705 nm 밴드가 산출되었으며, 최종적으로 구축된 SVR 모형을 선행 연구들에서 제시한 회귀식들과 비교한 결과, 가장 정확한 계측 결과를 제공하는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 본 연구에서 개발된 SVR 모형은 RFE를 통해 산출된 최적 분광 밴드 조합을 바탕으로 하기 때문에 기존 단일 분광 밴드 혹은 밴드비를 기반으로 구축된 회귀식들이 가지는 변수 의존도를 낮추는 동시에 더욱 정확한 부유물질 농도 공간분포를 제공할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
