In this paper, we introduce the class of analytic extensions of M-hyponormal operators and we study various properties of this class. We also use a special Sobolev space to show that every analytic extension of an M-hyponormal operator T is subscalar of order 2k + 2. Finally we obtain that an analytic extension of an M-hyponormal operator satisfies Weyl's theorem.

In this paper, we characterize the chaotic operator order $A\;{\gg}\;C\;{\gg}\;B$. Consequently all other possible characterizations follow easily. Some satellite theorems of the Furuta inequality are naturally given. And finally, using results of characterizing $A\;{\gg}\;C\;{\gg}\;B$, and by the Douglas's majorization and factorization theorem we are able to characterize the chaotic operator order $A\;{\gg}\;B$ in terms of operator equalities.

Numerical analysis of slope stability is presented using slice method, static seismic analysis methods, and earthquake response analysis methods. Static seismic force is considered as 0.2g while vertical static seismic force is not considered in analysis. For earthquake response analysis, Hachinohe-wave is applied. Safety factor calculated using slice method for failure surface. Calculating methods are Bishop's method and Janhu's method. Static seismic analysis was applied using Mhor-Coulomb model and earthquake response analysis was applied using non-linear elastic model.

본고는 ICME-9에서 발표되었던 Alan Bishop과 B. D‘Ambrosio의 논문을 중심으로 미래의 수학교육방향을 고찰해보고자 시도되었다. 민주화는 교육의 한 측면으로 항상 제시되어왔음에도 불구하고 수학 교육에서는 명확하게 제시되어진 일이 거의 없다. 우리 모두가 여전히 수학은 일부 공부 잘하고 머리 좋은 사람들만이 잘 할 수 있는 과목이라고 생각하여왔고 그러한 생각은 학교 졸업 후 사회에 나가서도 특권의식으로 발전한다. 그러나 수학이 메마르고 특권주의적 과목이 아닌 보편적이고 민주적인 과목 즉, “모두를 위한 수학교육”이 되어야 함을 자세히 살펴보았다.

In this paper, we give a result that maximum principles including Zorn's lemma can be regarded as various types of fixed point theorems. Our main application is that the well-known ordering principles in nonlinear analysis including the Bishop-Phelps argument and a number of its generalizations can be converted to fixed point theorems and vice versa. Consequently, we obtain new results and unify many known results.

The graph of the parallelogram law is well known, which gives rise to the characterization of an inner product space among normed linear spaces [6]. In this paper we will sketch graphs of its deformations according to our previous paper [7, Theorem 3.1 and 3.2]; each one of which characterizes an inner product space among normed linear spaces. Consequently, the graphs of some classical characterizations of an inner product space follow easily.

In this paper we show that if A ∈ L(X) and R ∈ L(X) is a quasinilpotent operator commuting with A then X_A(F) = X_A+R(F) for all subset F ⊆ ℂ and 𝜎_loc(A) = 𝜎_loc(A + R). Moreover, we show that A and A + R share many common local spectral properties such as SVEP, property (C), property (𝛿), property (𝛽) and decomposability. Finally, we show that quasisimility preserves local spectrum.

플라보노이드계 화합물인 HMPC (3-hydroxy-7-methoxy-2-phenylchromen-4-one의 부식억제성질, HMPC와 TBAB(n-tetrabutylammonium bromide) 간 상승효과, 염산 조건하 부드러운 강철의 흡착성질을 무게 감량, 변전위 편극, 전기화학 임피던스 분광기를 사용하여 연구하였다. 다양한 온도에서 무게 감량 측정 실험한 결과 부식 억제 효율은 억제제 농도가 증가함에 따라 증가하였고, 계의 온도가 증가함에 따라 감소하였다. 전기화학 실험 결과 부식 억제는 여러 혼합된 형태의 억제 방법에 의해 가능하였다. 금속 표면에 흡착된 억제 화합물 분자는 보호막을 형성하였다.

본 연구에서는 사면안정 확보를 위해 설치된 억지말뚝과 보강사면의 안전율을 산정할 수 있는 간편설계 법을 제안하였다. 억지말뚝-지반간 상호작용은 하중전이법으로, 사면의 안전율은 Bishop의 간편법을 이용하여 산정하였다. 말뚝 간격에 따른 군말뚝 효과를 고려하기 위해 실내모형실험 및 유한요소해석을 수행하였으며 이 결과를 토대로 군말뚝 상호작용계수를 제안하였다. 제안된 군말뚝 상호작용계수는 말뚝중심간격이 좁아질수록 감소하였으며, 두부조건이 자유단인 경우가 다른 구속조건에 비해 큰 폭으로 감소하였다. 개발된 억지말뚝의 설계기법은 본 연구에서 수행한 원심모형실험, 현장시험 및 기존 유한요소해석결과와 비교.분석하였다. 본 해석프로그램은 3차원 유한요소해석에 비해 쉽고 간단하면서도 말뚝-지반간 상호작용에 의해 매우 복잡한 거동을 나타내는 억지말뚝을 비교적 적절히 설계 할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.

빠른 시간내에 적은 시료로(mg 단위) FIA와 Diode Array Spectrophotometry를 이용하여 해리상수를 구할 수 있는 방법을 개발하는 데 실험의 비중을 두었고, 그 대상으로 Bromo Cresol Green을 사용하였다. 소량의 산 염기를 가할 때 제일 sensitive한 발색반응을 보이는 지시약의 pK는 7.0임이 컴퓨터에 의해 계산되었다. Spectrophotometry를 이용한 Bromothylmol Blue와 Bromocresol Green은 Kielland 방법에 의한 Activity를 보정해 준 후 pKa가 각각 7.31과 4.82를 얻었다(Reported value by Bishop 7.30, 4.79). FIA에 의한 Bromocresol Green의 pKa값은 4.78을 얻어 다른 방법과 유사함을 알 수 있었다.
