In this paper, we investigate some fundamental properties and establish some results of f-derivations of BCI-algebras. Also, we prove Der(X), the collection of all f-derivations, form a semigroup under certain binary operation.

In this paper, we introduce a concept of (H)-property which generalize that of increasing(decreasing) property of binary operation. We also treat some works related to operations on fuzzy numbers and generalize earlier results of Kawaguchi and Da-te(1994).

In this paper we propose a segmentiation algorithm to get binary images by using edge positional information We use the global and local properties of an image in this algorithm. Computer simulation shows that its segmentation results are better than thyose of conventional algorthm using only global characteristics.

We are to present some properties of binary relations by means of categorical method. The concept of semi-topogenous structures is due to Cs$\acute{a}$sz$\acute{a}$r. Using this, we give a new definition of a $\sigma$-topogenous structure as a particular type of semi-topogenous structure.

The variation of the directional properties of an image is used to extract the iris code for human identification. In order to conserve the original information while minimizing the effect of noise, scale-space filtering is applied. Resulting binary codes have been tested on a set of 272 iris images obtained from 18 persons.

In this paper, we introduce the notion of multiplier of AC-algebra and consider the properties of multipliers in AC-algebras. Also, we characterized the fixed set $Fix_d(X)$ by multipliers. Moreover, we prove that M(X), the collection of all multipliers of AC-algebras, form a semigroup under certain binary operation.

The present paper reports the study of binary mixtures and their properties over the entire range of composition at temperatures 288, 298, 308 and 318 K. Excess dielectric constant, excess molar volume, excess refractive index, molar refraction and excess molar refraction at different temperatures have been computed from the experimentally measured values of the aforesaid parameters and fitted to the Redlich-Kister equation. Excess dielectric constant, excess molar volume excess molar polarizations are negative whereas excess refractive indices are positive over entire mole fraction of methyl acetate for all temperatures. The results are discussed in light of intermolecular interactions occurring in the binary mixture. Estimated coefficients of the Redlich-Kister polynomials and the standard error along the coefficients are also reported.
