The purpose of this study was to investigate influences on wives' financial management behavior economic instability and coping behavior of urban household. Economic instability was constructed with an objective economic status and perceived economic instability. And, Financial management behaviors were constructed with four dimensions : investment, income/expenditure, risk, and debt management behavior. The subjects of this study were 225 housewives. Factor analysis, Cronbach ${\alpha}$, and multiple regression were performed for data analysis. The results show that, coping behaviors of searching and using information and perceived economic hardship related to debt influenced housewives' investment management behaviors. The coping behaviors of searching and using information, expending in the range of planned budget, using debt, perceived economic hardship related to debt, income insufficiency, and selective expenditure influenced the consumption-expenditure management behaviors. Perceived economic hardship related to essential expenditures and coping behaviors of searching and using information influenced the risk management behaviors. Coping behaviors of searching and using information, using debts and purchasing and using economically, and perceived economic hardship related to essentials influenced debt management behaviors.
The purpose of this study is to classify the stress into groups and analyze their differences in self-consciousness, and appearance management behavior. Questionnaires were administered to 377 middle and high school girls living in Deagu metropolitan City. Frequency, factor analysis, reliability analysis, cluster analysis, ANOVA, Duncant-test, and t-test are all used for data analysis. Our findings show that stress developed due to several reasons: the categories are as follows into grades-related low stress, exam-related high stress, and society-related high stress. For the purposes of our study, we labeled self-consciousness as a combination of being socially and privately self-consciousness and showing signs of social anxiety. Appearance management behavior deals with esthetic plastic surgery, clothing harmony, weight management, hair management, health care, skin care, and meal management. Stress shows a significant correlation with the sub-variable self-consciousness and appearance management behavior. The groups show a significant difference in the self-consciousness, and appearance management behavior. There is also a significant difference among stress, self-consciousness and appearance management behavior by grade. The students in seemed to recognize that their appearance can be improved by dressing up and managing their outwardly appearance. Teachers should educate students to have the variety of views on the meaning of beauty. In addition, schools need to develop programs to educate student about appearances, as the student's interests differ due to the stress type of the adolescent.
This study aims to examine the effects of high school students' time management behaviors on their satisfaction with educational consumption and school life. Three hundred seventy-six high school students in Seoul participated in this investigation. The SPSS ver. 19.0 program was adopted for the descriptive analysis, factor analysis, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, and multiple regression analysis. The results of the present study can be summarized as follows: first, the levels of time management behavior, satisfaction with educational consumption at school, and satisfaction with school life were relatively high. Second, an analysis of the relative influence on satisfaction with educational consumption revealed that the students' time management behavior was the most influential factor, followed by academic achievement. As the levels of time management behavior and academic achievement were high, the level of satisfaction with educational consumption was high. Finally, an analysis of the relative influence of satisfaction with school life also revealed that the students' time management behavior was the most influential factor, followed by academic achievement. Based on the findings, that is, the effects of high school students' time management behavior and other involved variables on their satisfaction with educational consumption and school life, a future study can present specific ways to enhance the level of satisfaction with educational consumption and school life.

This study examines the effect of sociocultural attitude toward appearance and appearance comparison on appearance management behavior by adolescents. The study examines the differences of the effect relationships among the three variables according to adolescents' sex and school grade. The questionnaire was administrated to 575 middle school and high school students in Gwangju from September 2-8, 2011. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis, frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and regression analysis by SPSS for WIN program. The results were as follows. First, the sociocultural attitude toward appearance was composed of two factors: internalization and awareness. Adolescent's appearance management behavior was composed of four factors: hair and style, face, weight, and neatness. There are significant differences on sociocultural attitude toward appearance and appearance management behavior by gender, age (girl/middle, boy/middle, girl/high, boy/high). Second, the sociocultural attitude toward appearance significantly influenced appearance management behavior with significant differences among groups. Third, the sociocultural attitude toward appearance significantly influenced the appearance comparison and there are significant differences among groups. Fourth, appearance comparison significantly influenced appearance management behavior with significant differences among groups. Fifth, the sociocultural attitude toward appearance mediated by appearance comparison statistically did not influence appearance management behavior.
This study examines the image management behavior according to self-monitoring, self-objectification of profile-based SNS users. Questionnaires were administered to 313 SNS users including both men and women in their 20s to 30s. The SPSS 25.0 package was utilized for data analysis, which included frequency analysis, factor analysis, Cronbach's ?, t-test, and regression analysis. The study analyzed self-monitoring in 2 groups (high, low), self-objectification for 2 factors (body surveillance, body shame), and image management behavior for 5 factors (fashion oriented, instrumentality, conformity, ostentation, interpersonal disposition). The results revealed: first, self-monitoring groups exhibited significant differences in self-objectification. The higher self-monitoring group was more influenced by body surveillance and body shame compared to the low self-monitoring group. Second, self-objectification had a positive influence on all the factors of image management behavior. Especially, body surveillance demonstrated a high influence on instrumentality and body shame showed a high influence on ostentation. Third, the self-monitoring groups showed significant differences in all the factors of image management behavior. The higher self-monitoring group demonstrated more influence of image management behavior compared to the low self-monitoring group. These results provide useful information in understanding the influence of social media on users' psychological attitude and consciousness toward their body and image management behavior.

The purpose of this study was to explore the effects of socio-demographic variables on time management and to investigate the effects of time management on self-efficacy and academic achievement in college students. The data were collected from 382 college students through questionnaire surveys and analyzed using frequency, percentile, and regression analysis with the SPSS program. College students' time management behavior was influenced by the social status of their families and by their participation in time management education. There were differences in variables affecting time management according to its sub-areas (planning, regular habits, and goal-oriented behavior). Planning was influenced by the students' majors and by their participation in time management education. Regular habits were influenced by the students' genders and their families' social status. No variables affected goal-oriented behavior. Time management (especially planning and goal-oriented behavior) and gender had strong effects on self-efficacy, and male students showed more self-efficacious behavior than their female counterparts. Time management (especially planning and regular habits) and gender had strong effects on academic achievement, and female students received higher academic grades than their male counterparts. Based on these results, time management was confirmed as an influential element in self-efficacy and academic achievement. Planning and goal-oriented behavior particularly influenced self-efficacy, and planning and regular habits particularly influenced academic achievement.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the patient safety motivation, patient safety management attitude, and patient safety management behavior and to identify the factors affecting patient safety management behavior of targeted new nurses. Subjects were 127 nurses and data were collected by questionnaires from September 11 to September 30, 2020. Data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's test, Pearson correlation coefficients and multiple regression analysis. Patient safety motivation was positive correlated with patient safety management attitude, and patient safety management behavior. Patient safety management attitude was positive correlated with patient safety management behavior. Patient safety motivation, patient safety management attitude and safety education experience were main factors that affect safety management behavior. These results suggest to develop educational program and application that include patient safety motivation, patient safety management attitude in order to improve patient safety management behavior of new nurses.
The purpose of this study was to investigate appearance management behavior of Koreans in their 40s and 50s according to Shangri-La Syndrome'. Shangri-La Syndrome means a social phenomena which people in their 40s and 50s want to live as young as people in their 20s and 30s. The questionnaires were distributed to 500 people in their 40s and 50s living in Ulsan, Dague, and Seoul. Of 500 questionnaires, 368 of them were used in data analysis. Descriptives, frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis were performed using SPSS 12.0. The degree of Shangri-La Syndrome was evaluated by a cognitive age. As a result, first, people in their 40s and 50s showed to recognize themselves about 9.1 years younger than actual ages. Second, the attitude to appearance management behavior revealed to be generally positive and the correlation between the cognitive age and the attitude to appearance management behavior was presented to be low and negative. Third, types of appearance management behavior were classified skin care and clothing, figure management, plastic surgery, hair. The smaller cognitive ages were, in other words, the larger the degree of Shangri-La Syndrome of respondents were, the more positive their opinions to the types of appearance management behavior were. Among the types of appearance management behavior, figure management was shown to be the most effective means for appearance management but, clothing the most frequent usable one. In conclusion, it was found out that the relationship between Shangri-La Syndrome and appearance management behavior was low but positive.
The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships among the resources, financial management behavior and economic welbeing of wives. The data were collected from 300 participants by questionnaire. The subjects of this survey were 250 wives living in the Pusan and Kyungnam regions. The data were collected by personal interviews and self-administered questionnaires and analyzed by frequencies, correlation analysis, one way Anova, Duncan test, factor analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The major findings of this study were as follows: (1) the regression analysis found that financial management behavior was an important variable affecting the economic wellbeing of wives : and (2) there are statistically significant differences in the levels of financial management behavior and economic satisfaction between households of different socioeconomic levels. Theses results imply that a financial management program focusing on the ways to implement financial behavior effectively should be developed.
Individuals with special needs include those with behavioral issues, developmental disorders, cognitive disorders, congenital or genetic disorders, or systemic disease. These conditions may place them at increased risk for oral diseases. Dental management of patients with special needs require in-depth understanding of the background of disability and available behavioral guidance theories. Therefore dental team members need more training in the theory and practice of behavior management principles, which might lead to a clinical experience that is more respectful of the dignity and independence of patients with special needs. The dental professional should be flexible to modify the behavior management approach according to the individual patients needs. Also a family/care-giver centered approach based on their preferences and concerns, the patient's challenging behaviors, and related medical problem can serve to improve the treatment planning and oral health management of dental patients with special needs. This article focuses on uncooperative behavior and behavior management, which help practicing dentists to understand their role in the care of patients with special needs.
