The purposes of this study are to review the status of dress material in the contemporary fashion design by examining the intertextuality of many materials other than textiles used in the contemporary fashion and to show that the development of new fashion materials is a factor for designing competitiveness. The results of this study are summarized as follows: First, foods and natural objects are used as fashion materials to reveal natural beauty, and at the same time new formative elements are expressed in combinations of life and fashion. Second, common paper and luxurious jewelry are presented as a formative element symbolic of an aspect of the contemporary society or embodied in elaborate handicraft techniques. Those materials boost the luxuriousness of costume and create a strong futuristic image according to how they are expressed. Third, plastics available for a variety of objects in different shapes and colors offer such formative features that could be shaped with textiles, as high-end technology is introduced to fashion. Fourth, metallic materials have added freedom to design formality due to their qualities of convergence and displacement and by the introduction of brand-new technology, suggesting a new future for the fashion industry. Fifth, using a variety of anti-fashion materials including semiconductor chips, mirrors, vinyl, wires, and rubber makes a change in the existing points of view regarding the formality of things and helps create a special aesthetic effect in a visual respect to develop a strong intertextuality of materials.
The purpose of the study is to analyze Hollywood actresses' makeup in formative characteristics and see the transition of the change for the usage as the fundamental materials to develop the future makeup field academy with the focus focused from 1920s to 2000s when the cosmetic industry began in earnest. The content of the study is to see the transition of the change by analyzing makeup of each era in formative aspect after seeing the transition of the makeup change in the social background by classifying by 10 years from 1920s to 2000s with related literature as the center in the theoretical background. The method of the study is to analyze makeup in formative aspect with total 180 pieces of pictures selected by two experts among their photos by selecting four actresses by each era and analyze Hollywood actresses' advertisement pictures which can be called as beauty icons at that time. Analysis frame to analyze the formativeness established new classification frame based on theories of Marian L. Davis, Marilyn Revell Delong, and Kang to analyze line, shape, texture, and decoration, and researcher's analysis frame was prepared based Munsell's color circle, tone analysis of P.C.C.S color system, and Kang's makeup color name to analyze colors. The result of the study is like below. Generally 20s and 30s highlighted line of eyebrows, 40s naturalness, 50s and 60s highlighted eye makeup, and from 70s makeup was focused on health, in 80s colorful makeup was boom, and 90s and 2000s has shown characteristics focused on texture of face.

This study mathematically and scientifically investigated the aesthetic consciousness of women inherent in the costume craftworks craftworks of the Chosun Dynasty through a systematical analysis of their textile pattern composition using visual language theory. The tangent value from the horizontal and vertical ratio of the costume craftworks craftworks indicated that they had an indigenous proportion system with a relatively regular form and pattern but without an exaggerated type. There was a module based on structures in the textile patterns of the costume craftworks craftworks and the patterns were constructed by the module with the syntagms of the ratio structure. Moreover, the analysis of the pattern designs indicated that the whole form of the costume craftworks craftworks was built through a repetitive structure of feature and one of pattern units; in addition, the craftworks had the extended composition and blank space of daring patterns, an important factor to make a whole design. Therefore, our study suggested that the costume craftworks craftworks of the Chosun Dynasty was characterized by the presentation of the aesthetic style with a Geumgang ratio (an indigenous proportion system used in Korea) and could be interpreted as an art style based on the beauty of space. Moreover, it is suggested that the spirit inherent in the costume craftworks of the Chosun Dynasty (which tried to understand the whole as one and equate the whole and parts) might agree with a holistic tendency as the foundation of Korea art.

Second, the Femme Fatale with pretended purity presents narcissistic satisfaction like a saint virgin by wearing a neck-high one-piece dress embellished with frills, but the use of mirror represents self-alienation and the vanity of purity. Third, the Femme Fatale with its military dress style presents authoritative sternness which leads seduced male into ruin with its destructive power. Fourth, wearing jersey type or knitted wear that sticks to the body presents sensual Femme Fatale. Fifth, the tulle, chiffon, and white handkerchief used for the creation of grotesque Femme Fatale represents harmlessness and prohibition of immoral behavior, and the black gloves, pillbox, and the number on the tulle present her uneasy psychological state from the fear of being discovered after murdering her husband. On the other hand, the see-through tulle presents alluring sensual beauty. Sixth, the combination of the dialogue in the final sequence and drapery type as in Greek goddess represents the saint virgin of salvation who acknowledges her own fault and returns to her purity again. In addition, accessories and others made from shining material represent hidden conspiracy through simple dress and contradictory dynamics, and shoes embellished with bonbon, etc represent sexual implications in connection with male.

In this study, sequential cross-linked collagen gels were successfully prepared with collagen, which is biomaterial, and acrylamide (AAm), which is a synthetic monomer. The elastic moduli (E) of cross-linked collagen gels were increased from 1.5 to 3.0 kPa by varying of AAm concentrations. In addition, human dermal fibroblasts were encapsulated into the porous pores introduced into the gels, and cell growth and behavior were investigated. Increasing E of the gels led to decreases in cell growth rate, while the cellular glycosaminoglycan (GAG) production level was elevated. Overall, the growth and cellular activity of skin cells were influenced by the extracellular matrix properties of the collagen gels. In conclusion, these results will be highly useful for designing reconstructive skins and various tissue engineering researches.
This thesis has three main purposes: first, will show kinds, patterns, types, expression techniques of modern korean women's trimmings by every ten years. Second, it is to trace the effect of each decade on women's Hanbok trimming designs. Third, it will point out factors. that caused the change of modern Korean women's Hanbok trimming design patterns. Henceforth, there comes the result of the research and analysis. Trimming design patterns of modern women's Hanbok can be divided into three categories temporally: The first period of from 1910s to the first half of 1950s saw that design patterns did not changed much from traditional ones. It is because there were many catastrophes such as the invasion of Japanese Empire and Korean War. The compound design had expressed people's wish to earn many sons and babies at the end of Joseon Dynasty. But it turned to wishing luck for individuals affected by individualism and liberalism imported from the west. Realistic designs are the most frequently used and the least lines made up patterns. The second period of from the latter half of 1950s to 1970s saw that women wore their Jeogories and Chimas as suits. Screen printing technique enabled for various design patterns to come out. And the development of textile industry introduced various expression techniques such as making lace, meshing, flocking, burn-out etc cetera. The third period of 1980s saw that Hanbok became a kind of luxurious clothe as people's living standard rose. Hanbok again came into the spotlight, Hanbok designers came forward and their individualities are respected. The characteristic expression technique of grey-dying and geometric design patterns are more frequently used for the simple and modern beauty.
The purpose of this study was to change practical korean costume in 20C. In the early 20C, inflow of western civilization started to change korean costume. Since then gradually changes to be simple in Korean costume. Results of this study can be summarized as follows: Traditional jacket (jeo-go-li) gradually began to be long to waist line. This jacket length was to be long and it sleeve is to be short in early 2OC. Traditional skirt (Chi-rna) length was short to the calf of the leg. Traditional wide skirt was gradually to be narrow and pleats shape look as if it in go-gu-Ryeo Dynasty. The width of pleats was about 3~5 cm, be one-sided, look as if it western style in today. But pleats skirt already existed on a women's of the upper classes in go-gu-Ryeo Dynasty. Women's long Coat (do-lu-ma-gi) length was short to under hip line in late 20c. In this way, the practical idea, the factor of design was because of western idea in civilization ages, early 20C. Since then gradually reformed to be simple in Korean costume. Assuming that the trend of simplification in Korean costume is related to the idea of practical. Therefore Korean costume of living or a reformed Korean costume to be design of practical, functional, convenient, economically. And it must have to traditional idea, it is only beauty of shape, pattern, line, fabric in Korean costume.

TThis study was undertaken to make trial costumes of ball jointed dolls for promoting the beauty of Korean cultural product with historical research of upper class ladie's costume from late Goryeo to early Joseon, the very unknown period in the Korean costume history. The ladies' costume from late Goryeo to early Joseon are characterized by their full silhouette, fusion with clothings of Yuan and Ming, revival of early Goryeo styles, well-developed weaving skill of ramie, a showy costume from Buddhist civilization. After investigation of researcher with literature, painting, and relics in 13-14C, 8 clothing items were outsourced totally. Items were formed as a set concept, but consumer can choose each costume as an single item and can make varied mix also. Dart, small ties, and thick fabrics were used in doll costumes partly because ball jointed doll's body has different characteristics from that of human beings. Developing research of manufacturing company's system for ready-made product remains to be considered in the future.

The purpose of this study was to increase the power of color and examine the long-lasting power, which is a disadvantage of one-pack acid hair dye by using chestnut shell pigment. For this, hair dyeing power was measured using a spectrophotometer, the optical density(O.D.) value was measured to examine the degree of fading of the hair, and the elasticity of the hair was analyzed by measuring the tensile strength. As a result of comparing the results of applying different leaving times and treatment methods to the hair samples of each level, the experimental group that was heat-treated for 20 minutes showed the highest dyeing power. Then, it was confirmed in the order of 40 minutes of natural exposure, 10 minutes of heat treatment, and 20 minutes of natural exposure. And it was also confirmed that the color expression visually improved as it went up to level 10. However, at level 10, it was confirmed that some water loss occurred even after 3 days and the tensile strength was low. These findings that indicated the beauty industry will popularize a one-step acid hair dye containing various natural dye ingredients to help maintain modern people's well-being and healthy mind and body.
The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between experience marketing using makeup services and theme park users' satisfaction, loyalty, and revisit intention. This is because it can identify the usefulness of makeup services and provide implications for effective field marketing strategies. In order to achieve the purpose, 668 users of the theme park were surveyed after convenience screening as research participants. The main theme was the makeup service for visitors to Lotte world, Everland, and Hapcheon Ghost theme park. this study reviewed previous studies and applied them to the makeup service. Based on this, the research model and the hypothesis were established, and as part of the empirical research, the hypothesis was verified through analysis methods such as frequency analysis, reliability verification, factor analysis, and structural equation modeling. The summary of the research results based on empirical analysis is as follows. First, as a result of analyzing experience marketing using makeup services has a positive impact on the satisfaction of customers using theme parks. Second, experience marketing using makeup services has a positive effect on customer loyalty. Third, experience marketing using makeup services has a positive effect on intention to return. Fourth, satisfaction and loyalty were found to affect the intention to return. Based on this research, we hope that the makeup service as experiential marketing can be effectively applied in various fields, and that the research can be used as basic data to make the makeup service into the representative cultural contents marketing.
