  • This study is to investigate the factors in which self-leadership and self-efficacy influence learning outcomes for beauty college students. The subjects of the study were 115 male and female college students in the first and second grades attending beauty colleges in the D region from November 22nd to December 1st, 2021, of which 100 copies were finally SPSS.WIN 24.0 program was used. First, it was verified that the self-leadership of beauty students had a direct effect on learning outcomes. Second, it was investigated that self-leadership and self-efficacy, which influence the learning outcomes of beauty students, had a very important effect. Third, it was found that the self-efficacy of beauty college students had a significant influence on learning outcomes.

In addition, as the rapidly growing and digitalized decorative beauty nail industry has become a major industry in the world, it is expressed as a formative beauty art that requires creative and original decorative expression. The Study on the Improvement of Curriculum for the Development of Beauty Tourism: Focusing on IPA (뷰티관광 활성화를 위한 교육과정 개선 방안 연구: IPA를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to improve the curriculum to revitalize beauty tourism by analyzing the difference in importance and satisfaction of the beauty tourism curriculum. And online and offline surveys were conducted for workers in the beauty tourism industry, and IPA analysis was conducted using 208 valid samples. As a result of the analysis, it was found that there was a difference in the importance and satisfaction of all educational contents. And than, it was found that there were no educational contents that needed improvement, and the training courses that required continuous maintenance were field practice, major practice, service and manners, customer consultation, customer management, marketing, and interpersonal relationships. Education content with low priority was found to be foreign languages, multicultural understanding, tourism, and beauty management. Based on the results, directions for improving the curriculum for revitalizing beauty tourism were suggested.

  • This study checks how the beauty service selection attributes of active seniors affect service satisfaction and whether there is a moderating effect of store familiarity between the beauty service selection attributes and service satisfaction and presents related implications. The survey for the study was conducted directly from October 10 to October 15, 2021, and a total of 188 copies were used for empirical analysis. As a result of the analysis, the beauty service selection attributes of active seniors were divided into four factors: expertise, image, service, and facility, and all of these factors were found to affect satisfaction. In addition, it was confirmed that familiarity had a moderating effect in the relationship between beauty service selection attributes and satisfaction. Therefore, it is considered important to properly manage the services, facilities, and images of beauty services while maintaining high familiarity with active seniors.

  • Since COVID-19, digital transformation has been taking place in the entire industry, and Metaverse is attracting attention as an untect service. Therefore, this study aims to find out about brand experience marketing cases using metaverse targeting beauty brands. This study reviewed previous studies related to metaverse marketing and beauty brand marketing. SK-II, Christian Dior used VR technology to provide users with contents and experience of brand products, and L'Oreal, Sephora, Laneige used AR technology to provide virtual makeup applications. It's believed that this experience marketing will have a positive effect on customers' purchase intention and its importance will increase further to target Z Generation. It's expected that this study can be used as related data in the metaverse and experience marketing of beauty brands, and research on metaverse marketing should be continued in the beauty field.

Convergence Study on the Effect of Hair Beauty Salon Store Image, Price, Human Service, and Trust on Customer Satisfaction (헤어 미용실 점포 이미지, 가격, 인적 서비스, 신뢰가 고객만족도에 미치는 영향에 관한 융합연구)

  • The purpose of this study is a convergence study to find out the relationship between store image, price, human service, and trust on customer satisfaction among the shop selection attributes of customers using hair beauty salons. This study analyzed the data of 500 copies of questionnaires for women who used hair beauty salons within the last 6 months using the SPSS v.22 statistical package program. As a result, store image (B= 1.321, p= .004), price (B= 1.189, p= .032), human service (B= 1.013, p= .000), trust (B= .782, p = .000) was found to have a meaningful positive(+) effect on customer satisfaction, and the ranking of influence was store image (β= .445), human service (β= .377), and price (β= .252). ), And trust (β= .167). Therefore, through this study, it was found that the higher the store image, personal service, price, and trust of the customer's hair salon, the higher the customer satisfaction. We confirmed the detailed influence of the effect of customer's shop selection attributes on customer satisfaction. Among them, store image and human service were found to be factors influencing customer satisfaction. It is necessary to find an economical and efficient way to improve store image, and to cultivate competency to strengthen human service. The results of this study are expected to be used as a basis for establishing a differentiated marketing strategy of cosmetic services industry.

  • An app is designed and developed for safe use of cosmetics by notifying the expiration date of cosmetics. According to increasing uses of cosmetics for modern people, the expiration date of cosmetics is becoming more important. The app proposed in this paper will be used for self management. People may manage themselves by registering the expiration date of their cosmetics. The cosmetics are registered and managed by category. This app also provides some beauty tips depending on the skin types of people.

A Study on Royal Ceremonial Hair styles of Chosun Dynasty

  • This study covers the literature of theoretical backgrounds of royal ceremonial hair styles during Chosun Dynasty and demonstrates reproduction works of those hair styles reinterpreted in modern methods. As for the Chosun royal hair styles for ceremonies, there are Daesoo, Gudoomi, and Euyoumi for a royal queen, royal concubines, and royal lady attendants of Nae Myung Boo, department of general affairs of the royal court. These hair styles represents well that Chosun Dynasty kept its own class symbols through hair styles, which is valuable cultural resources of Korean traditional beauties. This study compares the new reproduction works of Daesoo, Gudoomi, and Euyoumi with existing literature pieces and related photos for clear understanding of these traditional hair styles. This study aims to activate the relevant researches into Korean traditonal hair styles, their reproduction methods and applicable usages in Modern Korea as well as useful data for them.

  • The purpose of this study is to study the service physical environment, customer satisfaction and returning intention of beauty shop. Structured questionnaires and interviews were conducted to investigate these correlations and analyzed by IPA method. The physical environment in the beauty shop was analyzed as an important factor in creating an environment that can stimulate the emotional part of the customers. It is found that the atmosphere, the emotional atmosphere and the installation of the auxiliary facilities are important factors in the physical environment. Customer satisfaction was found to increase satisfaction with employees' intention, such as satisfaction with employees. The customer 's revisit intention shows that they are trying to communicate and share their experiences through customer satisfaction. It was found that it is important to meet customers' emotional needs through improving the physical environment of the stores and to improve the emotional satisfaction of customers based on this. Strategic implications for attracting customers in the beauty shop suggest that increasing satisfaction with existing customers is an important strategy in securing not only existing customers but also prospective customers.

  • This study empirically analyzed the effects of beauty service training on customer orientation and job performance of beauty industry workers. First, as a result of the study, there were differences in service training, customer orientation, and job performance according to general characteristics, and service training showed significant differences in age, highest level of education, work experience, and number of employees, job performance in age, work experience, and number of employees, and job performance in age, academic background, work experience, and number of employees. Secondly, it was identified that service training makes a significant effect on customer orientation, the factor that makes the greatest effect on customer orientation among sub-factors of service training is educational content, and it can be seen that customer orientation increases when educational content, educational instructor, and educational environment are higher. Thirdly, it was identified that service training and customer orientation make a significant effect on job performance. hese research results show that the better the educational environment, instructor, and educational content of beauty industry workers, the higher the customer-oriented service, leading to the creation of loyal customers and can improve job performance as well.
