We investigated the morphology of the scalp hair shaft from the base to the distal end of the newborn hair and the ratio of the longitudinal axis diameter of the scale exposed to the surface of the hair to the diameter of the hair by scanning electron microscopy(SEM). Neonatal hair was observed to taper from the area adjacent to the scalp toward the end of the hair. In this study, as the thickness of the hair increases, the ratio of the long axis diameter of the exposed scale becomes relatively small, but the long axis diameter of the exposed scale on the surface of the hair is similar in length regardless of the thickness of the hair. In conclusion, it was confirmed that the major axis diameter of the scales exposed to the surface of fine or thick hair does not change significantly.

This study aimed to identify the impact of make-up education program on the level of satisfaction with make-up and the self-esteem of 80 elderly women. This education was provided during 8 weeks from May 28 to 16 July 2010 to women over 60 who were visiting P seniors welfare center, in D city. Some people fell out of the research, so finally the experimental group was 34 and the control group 36. During this research seven methods of make-up, including that of light make up were taught to the experimental group. Comparing the satisfaction and self-esteem levels before and after education. The result was that through the education the levels of their satisfaction with make-up and of their self-esteem were shown to have increased (p<0.05), significantly. We hope that through this research old people's healthy living and their social confidence can better converge.

To investigate the natural cosmetic ingredients of Benincasa hispida seed extract on skin care, we measured anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory, and whitening effect. DPPH free radical scavenging activity was increased in a dose-dependent manner. The total phenolic content was higher in methanol extract (22.42±0.002 mgGAE/g) than water extract (9.77±0.002 mgGAE/g). MTT assay was demonstrated that the seed extract did not have a cytotoxic effect in RAW264.7 and B16F10 cell lines. We also examined to find out the inhibitory activity on NO production and secretion of TNF-α cytokine in LPS-induced RAW264.7 cells. In B16F10 melanoma cells, the seed extract significantly suppressed α-MSH induced melanin synthesis. Furthermore, westernblot analysis revealed that methanol extract dramatically downregulated the expression level of MITF, TRP-1 and TRP-2. Taken together, the B. hispida seed extract posses anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory and skin whitening activities, which might provided its functional efficacy in cosmetic materials.

The purpose of this study was to verify the efficacy of cosmetics containing peptides as a cosmetic method for eyelashes. The study subjects were 21 women aged 20 years, set as the experimental group (right eyelash) and the control group (left eyelash), and measured changes according to the use of peptide cosmetics for 4 weeks. As a result of the analysis, the change in the length and density of eyelashes showed significant differences in the interaction between the group and the experiment period, and in the main effect according to each experiment period (p<.001). In the change of eyelash density and thickness, it was found that there was a significant difference at week 3 and week 4 in the difference between groups by measurement period (p>.05, p>.01). Cosmetics containing peptides have been effectively proven to be an effective cosmetic method for safe and beautiful eyelashes by increasing the length and number of eyelashes to those who suffer from side effects caused by cosmetic procedures. In the future, we look forward to expanding research to a wide range of age groups.

This study examines the way poetry text is inserted in dramas and the way poets represent themselves through the drama "The climax" (2011). The drama features Lee Yuk-sa, a poet and independence activist, as a central figure and chooses a narrative structure that follows his life. The drama maximizes the lyricity and visual beauty of the drama by inserting his poems with fantastic images at the most dramatic moments of the poet's life. The image presented with the poem maximizes Lee Yuk-sa's intense hardship, while portraying the poem as a crystal of this hardship. Thus, the drama "The climax" uses Lee Yuk-sa's poetry to visualize the inner world of the central character Lee Yuk-sa. Lee Yuk-sa's poems are used in conjunction with his image to simultaneously represent the beauty of poetry and the upright spirit of the poet. This is the result of a balanced portrayal of Yi Yuk-sa, a poet and independence activist, as an intellectual who acts. The drama "The climax" is the main text that sincerely performed the representations of poems and poets through video.

The study was conducted to investigate the improvement nail health in middle-aged women aged 40~60 years who intake soybean koji by incubating Aspergillus oryzae(황국균), and utilized non-fermented soybeans as a control group and soybean koji as an experiment group for eight weeks. After clinical trials, the lifting and cracking conditions of the nails in the experiment group were improved, The moisture content increased 5.1 times compared to the control group, The water loss was 1.4 times less the reduction to the control group. and nail thickness increased by 1.9 times compared to controls. Wrinkles on the surface improved by about 2.4 times compared to the control group. In conclusion, consumption of this soybean koji of A. oryzae's has been shown to have an impact on improving nail is expected to be used Therefore, I propose this soybean koji of A. oryzae's as an inner beauty for improving nail is in middle-aged women aged 40~60 years.

In this study, four types of retinol, retinyl palmitate, adenocin, and polytoxylate-dretinamide, which are the ingredients of the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety Notice, included in the study. also we looked at trends in research on Sciadopitys verticillata, Prunella vulgaris, Celosia cristata L., Brazilin, Persicaria hydropiper, Astragalus membranaceus Bunge, Forsythiae Fructus, Lithospermum root, Rheum undulatum L. and Cistanche deserticola Y. C. Ma a natural material that has the efficacy of antioxidant aging. The anti-aging study so far has been found to be centered mainly on collagen production and elastase synthesis inhibition mechanisms. However, given that the aging process of the skin is caused by various ageing processes, it is believed that anti-aging studies using safe and effective natural materials that can help the skin age with various mechanisms should be conducted.

In this study, we intend to investigate the effect of cosmetic companies' planning actions for green marketing campaigns on their intention to participate and their actions. To this end, a survey was conducted and a total of 186 questionnaires were analyzed. The main results are as follows. The three factors of planned behavior, attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavior control, all had a significant effect on participation intention and participation behavior, and subjective norm was found to have the greatest influence. In addition, it was found that participation intention had a significant effect on participation behavior. Therefore, in order to activate the green marketing campaign, it is necessary to study the marketing method that can inform the people around the participation method, recommend the participation in the campaign, and recommend it.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of home care hair treatment characteristics and frequency on hair during permanent wave treatment. The hair treatments distributed on the market were classified into cationic surfactants and silicone oil. Hair treatment was performed 5 times, 10 times, 20 times differently according to the frequency of use, and hair permanent wave was performed. The hair thickness, tensile strength, epidermal observation using SEM, and hair component analysis using EDS were performed as experimental methods. The results of the experiment showed that the natural-derived ingredient was the main ingredient, and the cationic surface activity and silicon oil-free product group had high hair protection effect. Therefore, the product group using natural ingredients should be further researched and developed, and the study on the method and frequency of use of products with irritant chemical ingredients should be conducted.

This study analyzed the mediating effects of self-esteem and peer relationship in the effects between physical satisfaction and academic adaptation of multicultural youth. The subjects of the study were 1,064 first-year high school students at the time of the survey using the 8th Multicultural Youth Panel (MAPS) data. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, correlations, and path analysis of measurement variables were carried out using SPSS 25.0. According to the analysis, first, multicultural youth's body satisfaction has a positive effect on academic adaptation, and second, self-esteem is completely mediated in the relationship between body satisfaction and academic adaptation. Third, the relationship between multicultural youth's body satisfaction and academic adaptation has been partially mediated. The results will be used to develop basic data and programs to support healthy growth of multicultural youth. These results can be used to develop basic data and programs to devise support measures for healthy growth of multicultural youth.
