  • (R)-(-)-PGME amide of diterpene acid (2) was assigned the absolute configuration from NMR correlation experiments. The compound (2) was tested for its growth inhibitory effects against tumor cell lines by the MTT method.

한국, 중국, 일본 남성 소비자의 화장품 사용 실태와 발전방향에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Use of Cosmetics by Male Consumers in South Korea, China, and Japan and the Direction for Development)

  • 본 연구는 아세안 시장을 중심으로 코로나19의 창궐로 인해 급격하게 달라진 남성 화장품 시장 중 주요 경쟁국인 일본, 중국과 비교 분석하였다. 한중일에 거주하는 MZ세대 남성 300명에게 설문을 받은 결과를 연구 분석자료로 활용하였으며, 수집된 자료의 통계 SPSS 21.0 버전을 이용하여 분석을 진행하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 먼저 구매행동분석에 대한 결과이다. 한중일 3개국 남성 소비자의 화장품 평균 구매비용은 모두 30,000원 미만으로 나타났다. 화장품 구매요인으로는 3개국 모두 기능성, 사용감이 상위를 기록했다. 둘째, 선호하는 브랜드에 대한 답변에서는 한국과 중국은 해외브랜드에 개방적인 반면 일본은 주로 자국 브랜드를 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 화장품 구매요인으로는 3개국 모두 기능성, 사용감이 상위를 기록했다. 선호하는 브랜드에 대한 답변에서는 한국과 중국은 해외브랜드에 개방적인 반면 일본은 주로 자국 브랜드를 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 코로나19 이후의 화장품 사용 변화에 대한 결과이다. 코로나19 이후의 피부고민에 대한 답변으로 한국, 일본의 경우 여드름이 가장 높게 나타났으며 중국의 경우 피지 분비 증가가 가장 높게 나타났다. 피지에 대한 고민은 3개국 모두 상위로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과를 토대로 아세안 시장에서 한국 남성 화장품의 수출 경쟁력을 확대하기 위한 기초자료로 제안하고자 한다.

A Study on Royal Ceremonial Hair styles of Chosun Dynasty

  • This study covers the literature of theoretical backgrounds of royal ceremonial hair styles during Chosun Dynasty and demonstrates reproduction works of those hair styles reinterpreted in modern methods. As for the Chosun royal hair styles for ceremonies, there are Daesoo, Gudoomi, and Euyoumi for a royal queen, royal concubines, and royal lady attendants of Nae Myung Boo, department of general affairs of the royal court. These hair styles represents well that Chosun Dynasty kept its own class symbols through hair styles, which is valuable cultural resources of Korean traditional beauties. This study compares the new reproduction works of Daesoo, Gudoomi, and Euyoumi with existing literature pieces and related photos for clear understanding of these traditional hair styles. This study aims to activate the relevant researches into Korean traditonal hair styles, their reproduction methods and applicable usages in Modern Korea as well as useful data for them.

  • The aims of this study was assess to preparation and stability of emulsion containing Taraxacum platycarpum ethanol extract our team was found to shape and size of capsule by optical microscope and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). In the stability test of the emulsion including Taraxacum platycarpum ethanol extract, it was stable of pH, viscosity during 30days. According to all the test results that have been given, it is possible that the ethanol extract of Taraxacum platycarpum can be used as a new cosmetics material.

Contemporary Koreans' Perceptions of Facial Beauty

  • Background This article aims to investigate current perceptions of beauty of the general public and physicians without a specialization in plastic surgery performing aesthetic procedures. Methods A cross-sectional and interviewing questionnaire was administered to 290 people in Seoul, South Korea in September 2015. The questionnaire addressed three issues: general attitudes about plastic surgery (Q1), perception of and preferences regarding Korean female celebrities' facial attractiveness (Q2), and the relative influence of each facial aesthetic subunit on overall facial attractiveness. The survey's results were gathered by a professional research agency and classified according to a respondent's gender, age, and job type ($95%{\pm}5.75%$ confidence interval). Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS ver. 10.1, calculating one-way analysis of variance with post hoc analysis and Tukey's t-test. Results Among the respondents, 38.3% were in favor of aesthetic plastic surgery. The most common source of plastic surgery information was the internet (50.0%). The most powerful factor influencing hospital or clinic selection was the postoperative surgical results of acquaintances (74.9%). We created a composite face of an attractive Korean female, representing the current facial configuration considered appealing to the Koreans. Beauty perceptions differed to some degree based on gender and generational differences. We found that there were certain differences in beauty perceptions between general physicians who perform aesthetic procedures and the general public. Conclusions Our study results provide aesthetic plastic surgeons with detailed information about contemporary Korean people's attitudes toward and perceptions of plastic surgery and the specific characteristics of female Korean faces currently considered attractive, plus trends in these perceptions, which should inform plastic surgeons within their specialized fields.

한국 전통건축미(美)와 전통가구에 내재된 자연미(美)의 유기적 특징 연구 (Study of the organic characteristics between Korean traditional aesthetic of architecture and the natural beauty being intrinsic in traditional furniture)

  • Korean traditional architecture has been carried out in the manner that it harmonized surrounding natural environments and never disturbed them in the scale which did not overwhelm the nature, based on the view of architecture predicated on Yin Yang School. The exposed grain of the wood like pillar, hinge and house rafte, the linear expression of the construction material and the formation between the window and door monopolizing the front side presented a harmony with the nature showing the linear structure. Furthermore the ceiling is low due to the sit life style thanks to the ondol (Korean under-floor heating system and the furniture was made in simple manner to utilize the space as large as possible, for the interior was narrow and close, and also the furniture placing in the middle of the room was movably manufactured to improve the room space. Like this Korean traditional furniture was close associated with the low height and simplicity and harmonized with the blank of the wall accordingly, and it characterized linear & planar natural beauty focusing on the simple and refined unique beauty, because it was made in a good harmony with the interior utensils. This study has presented that the organic characteristics of Korean traditional aesthetic of architecture and the natural beauty being intrinsic in traditional furniture have a mutual relation on the basis of not only the visual recognition, also the aesthetic of naturalism made of the natural material, the constructional naivety as a frame method and the linear & planar formative beauty shown in appearance.

대학생들의 외모관리관심도 및 뷰티트렌드와 융합된 외모관리행동 (The appearance management interest of University Students and Appearance management behavior converged with Beauty trend)

  • 본 논문은 대학생들의 외모관리에 대한 관심도와 뷰티트렌드와 융합된 다양한 형태의 외모관리행동과의 연관성을 알아보기 위한 것이다. G지역의 대학생들을 대상으로 2018년 4월15일부터 30일까지 15일 동안 설문지를 배포하여 연구목적과 방법을 설명하고 동의한 학생 267명의 자료를 SPSS 18을 활용하여 분석하였다. 대학생들의 외모관리 관심도는 건강관리에 대한 관심도를 제외한 체형관리, 피부관리, 헤어관리, 화장품사용관리에는 남, 여 대학생에 따른 관심도 차이를 보였다. 그리고 화장품사용관리 관심도가 높은 학생들은 트렌드와 융합된 패션스타일 화장스타일 피부관리 체형관리 행동요인들의 경우 정(+)의 영향을 끼치는 것으로 나타났고, 트렌드와 융합된 운동건강기구 사용 요인에는 부(-)의 영향을 끼치는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 대학생들의 트렌드와 융합된 외모관리행동에 대한 연구를 토대로 뷰티산업체의 신상품개발연구 등에 참고자료 활용을 기대하고, 추후 새로운 융합형태의 외모관리행동연구를 지속할 예정이다.

  • 본 연구는 뷰티산업 현장 실무 전문가를 양성하기 위한 피부미용 이론 및 실기 수업을 통해 문제중심학습(PBL) 수업 개발 및 적용하고자 한다. 학습자들에게 피부미용 현장에서 일어나는 실제적인 문제를 제시하고, 그 문제를 해결하기 위해 학습자들 상호간에 공동으로 문제를 해결하는 방안을 강구하고자 한다. 학습자들에게 문제중심학습(PBL)을 적용한 피부미용 수업을 진행하고, 수강 후 그 효과에 대해 분석한다. 본 연구 결과로 현장 실제의 문제를 제시함으로써 학습자들이 실제 전문가들이 하는 일을 이해할 수 있었고, 주어진 문제에 대한 다양한 해결방법을 도출할 수 있다는 부분을 알게 되었다고 하여 문제해결 능력 신장을 기대 해 볼 수 있었다. 이와 같은 결과는 문제 탐구와 문제를 해결하기 위한 문제중심학습(PBL) 수업 과정은 학습자의 문제해결능력 향상에 긍정적으로 작용하고 있음을 시사하고 있다.

The Effect of Beauty Influencer Characteristics on Relationship Continuation Intention and Purchase Intention - Focusing on Mongolian Consumers -

  • Social networking is gaining speed and has grown indispensable as technology develops. As a result, social media, particularly Facebook, Instagram, and influencer marketing, are replacing conventional marketing trends. The top 15 search terms for Mongolian women between the ages of 18 and 34 in 2019 on Facebook were cosmetics and shopping. Companies use social media, the main tool of social media, to promote their products while simultaneously increasing productivity at a minimal cost. In Mongolia, finding out about cosmetic brand products on social media is rather usual. The impact of social media influencers on the purchasing of cosmetic brands must thus be researched. We aimed to find out the relationship between attractiveness, authenticity, communication ability, and influence, which are characteristics of beauty influencers, on product purchase intention and identification between consumers and followers (information acceptance, purchase intention). Communication ability and influence appeared to have a statistically significant positive (+) effect on identification. On the other hand, attractiveness, communication ability, and influence all showed a statistically significant positive (+) effect on information acceptance. Identification and information acceptance has s significant positive effect on purchase intention.

  • 4-Geranyloxy compound (1) has elucidated by spectroscopic analysis. This compound (1) inhibited the growth of the dermatophytic fungus Trichophyton mentagrophytes ATCC 28185, (2 mm inhibition zone at 15 ㎍/disc), cytotoxic to P388 murine leukaemia eel/lines ATCC CCL 46 P388D1, (IC/sub 50/ 1,125 ng/ml at 7.5㎍/disc) and BSC monkey kidney cell lines (100% of well at 15 ㎍/disc).
