Extracting Blood Vessels through Similarity Analysis and Intensity Correction (유사도 분석과 명암 보정을 통한 혈관 추출)

  • This paper proposes a method to extract coronary arteries effectively in the angiography, In general. DSA(Digital Subtraction Angiography) is a well-established technique for the visualization of coronary arteries, DSA involves the subtraction of a mask image, an image of a heart before the injection of contrast medium, from a live image, However, this technique is sensitive to the movement of background and can cause wrong detection due to the variance of background intensity between two images. Therefore, this paper solves the structural problem resulted from background movement by selecting an image which has the least difference of movement through the similarity analysis of background texture, and it extracts only the blood vessels effectively through local intensity correction of the selected images, Experimental results show that the proposed method has the lower false-detection rate and higher accuracy rate than existing methods.

Robust Method of Updating Reference Background Image in Unstable Illumination Condition (불안정한 조명 환경에 강인한 참조 배경 영상의 갱신 기법)

  • It is very difficult that a previous surveillance system and vehicle detection system find objects on a limited and unstable illumination condition. This paper proposes a robust method of adaptively updating a reference background image for solving problems that are generated by the unstable illumination. The first input image is set up as the reference background image, and is divided into three block categories according to an edge component. Then a block state analysis, which uses a rate of change of the brightness, a stability, a color information, and an edge component on each block, is applied to the input image. On the reference background image, neighbourhood blocks having the same state of a updated block are merged as a block. The proposed method can generate a robust reference background image because it distinguishes a moving object area from an unstable illumination. The proposed method very efficiently updates the reference background image from the point of view of the management and the processing time. In order to demonstrate the superiority of the proposed stable manner in situation that an illumination quickly changes.

  • This paper presents an algorithm of target detection of an underwater acoustic signal by estimating the background. At first, subtract the estimated background from the underwater acoustic signal. To estimate the background, this paper uses an algorithm of Denoising. By using Thresholding and Power analysis, we extract targets from the signal to eliminate the background. The proposed method is valuable as an algorithm to reduce calculation amounts of multi frames we will apply.

  • The voltage induced in the superconducting background magnet system is analyzed according to the calculation of self inductance and mutual inductance. The voltage induced by blip and compensation coils of the background magnet system is about 6.4V. In order to charge the main background magnet, the power supply must provide the minimum voltage of 1.1 kV. the compensation coils have an influence on the field distribution. The compensation coils result in the decreasing center field about 2.67%. It can remarkably decrease the ac losses and the voltage on the current leads of the background magnet.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences of the visual evaluation for the Picture image combination of Clothing and Ground. The major finding were as follows ; 1) For the visual evaluation of the Picture image as Clothing variation there were significant differences in all factors 2) For the visual evaluation of the Picture image as Ground variation there were significant differences in Attractiveness Hardness and softness Cuteness Attention Cool and Warm factor 3) For the visual evaluation of the Picture image as Percentage of Clothing there were significant differences in Attractiveness cool and Warm factor. Mdern and strong images formed charming urban and cool visual images with urban and neat artificial backgrounds. Mature images were created with romantic and static artificial backgrounds. Mannish straight and conservative images created charming and rigid visual images in urban and formatted artificial background. Using a white natural background for the urban style created a cool visual image. The use of an interior background lead to warmer images and more defination lines Causal images created a rural and warm image which expressed charm and a soft visual while using a rural and natural background. A most unharmonious and hard image was created when using an urban and formatted artificial background. The coolest visual image was created with a cool and natural background. Feminine and flawless images created urban and neat visual image using an urban and formatted artificial background.   • In this paper, we propose a new method of background removing for digital self-adaptive acquisition in medical X-ray imaging. We analysis the construction of video digital acquisition system and main factors of acquired image quality, propose a more efficiency method to against background non-uniformly. With proposed method, non-uniform illumination back ground was well removed without image quality degradation.

  • Since the 1990s, the international married couple, who were transnational migration has increased. therefore, there has been many studies on this approaches in the meanwhile, but enough analysis is not being done on the background of female marriage migrant and the adaptation of international marriage couples, because there is limits of the approach method. With the awareness of these issues, this study is about the analysis on the background and adaptation of them, based the data of surveys and in-depth interviews targeted international marriage couples in the area of Daegu and Gyeongbuk. The result of analysis survey on background of international migration was very high level about the recognition of the international marriage couple's global thinking, and analyzed this macro-background does not affect much about the international marriage couple's adaptation. However, this study were analyzed that the advance cognition degree to the other side, which are expected affect directly to the life and adaptation of all the couples is very low level.

  • This study is numerical procedure of strengthening capacity in a field structure and compare analysis data with test data. Recently, many strengthening methods are developed and used to rehabilitate existing structure. However, both theoretical background and applying techniques are not established yet. One of the most popular method is plate bonding method using either steel plate or carbon plate. This theoretical background and applying techniques are very important and those applications are differed when applied in field strengthening cases. Also depending on the analysis out come, displacement increased based n the condition of members while reaching ultimate load or failure load.

  • ^x This paper aims to grasp the basical things of the architectural meaning of Bu - Seok Temple through the background of site selection and the analysis of arrangement change of it. For this purpose, I try to examine the process of folk- belief adhesion of Buddism and Feng - Shui as the choice factor of site when the temple was established, the spatial characters of the changing stage in arrangement. These characters of Bu - seok temple have significance for the basic study on the site selection and the spatial analysis of a mountainous district Temple in Shilla.

Using Text Network Analysis for Analyzing Academic Papers in Nursing (간호학 학술논문의 주제 분석을 위한 텍스트네크워크분석방법 활용)

  • Purpose: This study examined the suitability of using text network analysis (TNA) methodology for topic analysis of academic papers related to nursing. Methods: TNA background theories, software programs, and research processes have been described in this paper. Additionally, the research methodology that applied TNA to the topic analysis of the academic nursing papers was analyzed. Results: As background theories for the study, we explained information theory, word co-occurrence analysis, graph theory, network theory, and social network analysis. The TNA procedure was described as follows: 1) collection of academic articles, 2) text extraction, 3) preprocessing, 4) generation of word co-occurrence matrices, 5) social network analysis, and 6) interpretation and discussion. Conclusion: TNA using author-keywords has several advantages. It can utilize recognized terms such as MeSH headings or terms chosen by professionals, and it saves time and effort. Additionally, the study emphasizes the necessity of developing a sophisticated research design that explores nursing research trends in a multidimensional method by applying TNA methodology.
