아이돌 팬의 아이돌 이미지 수용 과정 -BTS를 중심으로- (Idol Fan's Acceptance Process of Idol Image -Focusing on BTS-)

  • The purpose of study was to analyze the process of accepting by BTS fans. The methodology used in this study was qualitative research using grounded theory and the results of the study follow. As a result of open coding, 47 concepts, 23 subcategories, and 14 categories were derived. In the axis coding stage, the casual conditions were "Recognition of BTS image," "Fascinated by BTS image," "Simple consumption of BTS image," and "Arising and expansion of curiosity about BTS image." The contextual conditions were "Accessibility of BTS image" and "Abundance of BTS image searching paths." The central phenomenon appeared to be "Immersing and studying BTS image." The arbitration conditions were "Capabilities required to reproduce BTS image" and "Motivation for contributing BTS image." The actions/interactions were "Presenting BTS image," "Contribution to the spread of BTS image," and "Involved in forming new BTS image." The result was "Emergence and expansion of new BTS image meaning" and "Strengthening attachment to BTS." Through process analysis, it was found that acceptance of BTS images consisted of five stages: "Recognition of BTS image," "Becoming curious about BTS image," "Searching BTS image," "Intervention of BTS image." and "Reproduction of BTS image." As a result of deriving the core categories through selective coding, the core category was "Forming a bond while participating in the BTS image."

방풍통성산 제제의 성분 및 생리활성 비교 연구 (Comparative Study of Characterizing Components and Biological Activities of Bangpungtongseong-san Formulation)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the quality of two different commercial Bangpungtongseong-san (BTS) extract granules (BTS-2 and BTS-3) by comparing with BTS decoction (BTS-1). The contents of characterizing components and biological activities of two different commercial BTS extract granules were compared with those of the BTS decoction. The contents of characterizing components were analyzed with HPLC. The antioxidative effects were determined by measuring 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhygrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging and superoxide dismutase (SOD)-like activity. Also, we compared the effects on lipid accumulation and reactive oxygen species (ROS) production during differentiation of 3T3-L1 preadipocytes. The contents of five components except liquiritin and sennoside A were higher in BTS-1. The DPPH radical scavenging and SOD-like activity were higher in BTS-1. BTS-1 significantly inhibited lipid accumulation during differentiation of 3T3-L1 preadipocytes and showed stronger effects than BTS-2, BTS-3. In addition BTS-1 showed stronger inhibition effects on ROS production during differentiation of 3T3-L1 preadipocytes than BTS-2, BTS-3. These results indicate that BTS decoction has strong biological activities than commercial BTS extract granules. It is also consistent with the contents of characterizing components.

한우에서 Cattle QTLdb와 BcSNPdb를 이용한 육질연관 후보 SNP 발굴 (Discovery of Candidate SNP Related to Meat Quality Using the BcSNPdb and Cattle QTLdb in Hanwoo)

  • 본 연구는 한우의 근내지방도와 연관된 SNP를 규명하고자 Cattle QTLdb와 BcSNPdb를 이용하였다. 먼저 Cattle QTLdb에서 근내지방도에 관련된 QTL 영역을 탐색한 후 BcSNPdb에 적용하여 총 3605개의 SNP를 발굴하였고 이 중에서 347개의 nonsynonymous SNP를 선정하여 PCR 반응이 확인된 160개의 SNP를 확인하였다. 확인된 160개의 SNP를 30차에서 35차 국가후대검정우(n=476)에서 혈연관계가 없으며 근내지방도 성적을 근거로 정규분포상에서 평균±2SD 범위 밖의 성적이 높은 집단 50두와 낮은 집단 50두에 적용한 결과 6개의 근내지방도 관련 SNP(BTS_003888, BTS_012665, BTS_ 018201, BTS_025951, BTS_009454, BTS_052584)를 확인하였다. 확인된 6개의 SNP를 30차에서 35차 국가후대검정우 집단(n=476)에 적용한 결과 BTS_003888, BTS_009454, BTS_052584의 SNP에서 근내지방도와 유의적인 차이를 나타내었고 BTS_025951의 SNP에서는 등지방두께와 유의적인 차이를 보였다(P<0.05). 따라서 본 연구의 결과에서 밝혀진 BTS_003888, BTS_ 009454, BTS_052584, BTS_025951 SNP들은 한우의 근내지방도와 등지방두께의 선발개량모형에 포함하여 진일보하는 보탬의 기틀이기를 기대한다.

Connect, BTS: An Example of Innovative Transmedia Branding To Rethink Spatiality and Meaning-making

  • This case study research analyzes the cross-artistic project Connect, BTS and its relationship to transmedia branding, meaning-making and spatiality. After an overview of the argument and a section on methodology, the reader will find the analysis of the case study. Thanks to the use of a qualitative approach, this examination of Connect, BTS unveils the ways in which this initiative becomes a location that allows a reconceptualization of space that fosters plurality, exchange, and subjectivity. Connect, BTS unites seemingly incompatible fields under one project, favoring the co-creation of meanings among different artists, BTS, ARMY (the group's fans), business partners and viewers. This process has been investigated through content analysis, exploring Connect, BTS's transmedia strategies from branding to storytelling, to evaluate their efficacy in regard to brand identity, brand experience, and brand trust. The paper will also explore the variety of layers and spatial dimensions contained in Connect, BTS, which flow from art to the music industry, material and digital space, various market sectors and media. In light of this, Connect, BTS embraces a galaxy of separate semantic units into an extended liminal continuum that does not discount difference.

뉴 뮤지올로지 관점의 하이브 인사이트 방탄소년단(BTS) 전시 콘텐츠 분석 (Analysis of HYBE Insight's BTS Exhibition Content from the New Museology Perspective)

  • 2021년 5월 개관한 하이브 인사이트(HYBE Insight)는 하이브 음악이 추구하는 세계관과 철학을 담은 전시 중심의 복합문화공간이다. BTS 전시 콘텐츠 중심으로 운영되고 있는 이 공간은 BTS 세계관과 정체성을 담은 콘텐츠를 시각적으로 전시하고 재해석하며 다양한 융합예술을 시도하고 있다. BTS가 만들어 낸 동시대 문화 현상의 특수성 등 시대적 담론을 반영한다. 본 연구는 하이브 인사이트의 BTS 전시를 뉴뮤지올로지(new museology) 이론과 담론을 적용하여 연결 및 분석한다. 문헌 연구와 관찰 방법을 통한 질적 연구방법론을 기반으로, 1) BTS와 그들의 음악적 정체성을 제시하는 맥락화된 전시 콘텐츠, 2) BTS 콘텐츠 트랜스미디어 스토리텔링의 주 참여자이자 의미 재해석 기여자인 팬덤 아미의 참여적 역할과 대중음악 뮤지엄의 관계성, 3) 융합예술 콘텐츠적 요소, 4) 전시 운영의 문화적 가치를 조명한다. 뉴 뮤지올로지의 핵심 이론이 시사하듯, 전시는 그것이 만들어진 특정 맥락을 바탕으로 연구되어야 한다. 하이브인사이트의 BTS 전시사례는 서구 중심으로 발달해온 뉴 뮤지올로지 이론과 대중음악 뮤지엄 연구를 BTS 콘텐츠가 갖는 특수한 맥락을 중심으로 분석하는데 의의가 있다. 뉴 뮤지올로지 관점에서 BTS 전시 콘텐츠와 전시의 의의를 분석하는 본 연구가 최근까지 진행되고 있는 BTS 융합예술 콘텐츠, 사회문화적 영향력, 팬덤 아미의 역할 및 하이브의 콘텐츠 운영방식 연구 등에 더하여 보다 다각적인 연구에 기여하기를 기대한다.

방풍통성산(防風通聖散)이 백서(白鼠)의 뇌혈류량역학(腦血流力學)에 미치는 기전(機轉) 연구(硏究) (Mechanism Study of Bangpungtongseongsan(BTS) on the Cerebral Hemodynamics in Mice)

  • Objective : Bangpungtongseongsan(BTS) has been used in oriental medicine for many centuries as a prescription for a heat syndrome of apoplexy. The effects of BTS on the vascular system are not well known. This study is designed to identify the effects of BTS on the regional cerebral blood flow(rCBF), arterial blood pressure and action mechanism in mice. Methods : We measured the change of rCBF and BP by BTS. Secondly, we investigated changes of rCBF and BP for 30 minutes interval after venous inject 0.01, 0.1, 1.0, 10.0mg/kg each density BTS infusion into mice, which were premanaged with methylene blue(10mg/kg, i.v), indomethacin(3mg/kg, i.v.), propranolo(3mg/kg, i.v.) for 30minutes. Results : rCBF increased significantly by BTS in a dose-dependent and BP was not affected by BTS in mice. Pretreatment with methylene blue significantly inhibited rCBF increased by BTS and aceelrated BP not affected by BTS. Pretreatment with indomethacin significantly inhibited rCBF increased by BTS and inhibited BP not affected by BTS. Conclusion : These results show that BTS causes the increasement of rCBF and non-change of BP. The action mechanism is related to prostaglandid activated by cyclooxygenase.

팬덤 동기에 따른 BTS 굿즈 가치와 협업 브랜드 선호도 연구: BTS 팬클럽 ARMY를 대상으로 (A Study on the BTS Goods Values and Collaboration Brand Preference According to Fandom Type: Focusing on BTS Fan-club 'ARMY')

  • With rise in economic activity of fandoms, fashion brands often collaborate with K-pop stars such as BTS to enhance brand preference and sales. This study analyzes why people engage in fandom activity and its effects on collaboration fashion brand preference by focusing on 'BTS' and fandom 'Army'. This study aims to provide information to establish marketing strategies by identifying the influence of fandom culture related to the Korean Wave and the fashion industry, and empirically analyzing factors affecting active customer formation for long-term growth. The data were collected from BTS fan club 'Army' and a total data sets were analyzed using SPSS25.0 statistics program. The findings of this research were as following. Frist, BTS fandom motivation were identified as Need for Approval, Communication Need, Professionalism Need, Need to Belong, Consumption Need and the BTS fan groups were categorized into 3 groups. Third, comparing BTS goods values and collaboration brand preference an excess in each group was revealed. This study is significant because it provides essential data for the marketing strategy of fandom market by comparing marketing effects of BTS with the characteristics of fandom consumers and identifying the different desires of each group. As a result of this research, it can be seen that BTS an influential leading brand, has been adopted, and the research direction of empirical analysis has been presented. In practice companies can select specific fandom targets by using the sub-levels of fandom types that have become clear and implement marketing strategies of the fandom market.

BTS Based Improved BER for Stronger Channel User in Non-Uniform Source SSC NOMA

  • In this paper, to improve further the bit-error rate (BER) performance of the stronger channel user in non-uniform source non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) with symmetric superposition coding (SSC), we propose a smart bit-to-symbol (BTS) mapping of SSC. First, the analytical expression for the total allocated power of the proposed BTS mapping scheme is derived, and then we show that the BER of the proposed BTS mapping scheme improves further, compared to that of the existing BTS mapping scheme. Moreover, based on the simulations, the signal-to-noise (SNR) gain of the proposed BTS mapping scheme over the existing BTS mapping scheme is calculated. In result, the proposed BTS mapping could be a candidate scheme for non-uniform source SSC NOMA with the SNR gain.

방탄소년단의 패션 스타일에 관한 연구 (The Study on the BTS's Fashion Style)

  • 방탄소년단(BTS)은 전 세계 주류 음악 시장에서 한국의 대중음악을 선도하는 그룹으로 자리매김하고 있으며, BTS가 선보이는 다채로운 패션 스타일은 해외 매체나 대중들의 쇼셜 네트워크에 집중 조명될 정도로 큰 관심을 받고 있다. 본 연구는 BTS의 패션 스타일의 분석을 토대로 그들의 패션 경향을 파악하는데 목적이 있다. 연구방법 및 범위는 BTS 및 BTS의 패션이 미치는 영향력에 관련된 이론적 연구와 함께 최근 5년간 방탄소년단의 이미지 자료를 토대로 한 내용 분석 연구를 병행하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 직선적인 실루엣이 강조된 슈트, 무채색의 활용, 간소화된 장식을 통하여 클래식하면서도 모던한 스타일을 추구하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 둥근 어깨선이 강조된 봄버 재킷, 톤 다운된 스키니 진, 후드 티셔츠, 레터링 패턴, 비비드한 색상을 매치하여 자유분방하고 편안한 감성의 캐주얼 스타일을 선호하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 슬리브리스의 베스킷볼 셔츠, 라운드 네크라인의 베이스볼 셔츠와 반바지, 트레이닝팬츠, 레터링 패턴이 강조된 오버핏 맨투맨을 활용하여 역동적이고 활동적인 스포티한 스타일을 추구하는 것으로 나타났다.

Effect of Phellinus baumii -Biotransformed Soybean Powder on Lipid Metabolism in Rats

  • In this study, we evaluated the hypolipidemic and antioxidative effects of biotransformed soybean powder (BTS; Phellinus baumii-fermented soybean) on lipid metabolism in rats. Sprague-Dawley (SD) male rats were divided into basal diet group (BA), high fat diet group (HF), high fat diet containing 10% BTS group (10 BTS), and high fat diet containing 20% BTS group (20 BTS). Changes in the content of various isoflavones, including daidzein and genistein, within the soybean after fermentation to BTS were investigated. The levels of daidzein and genistein were $149.28{\mu}g/g$ and $364.31{\mu}g/g$, respectively. After six weeks experimental period, Food efficiency ratio in the 10 and 20 BTS group was significantly lower than the HF group (P<0.05). Total serum levels of cholesterol, triglycerides, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, and atherogenic index ratio in the 10 or 20 BTS group were significantly lower than the HF group. The levels of alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase and thiobarbituric acid reactive substance were significantly lower in the groups that received 10% and 20% BTS than the HF. The activities of SOD and CAT were significantly higher in the 10 and 20 BTS group than the HF group. The activity of XO in the 10 and 20 BTS group was significantly lower than in the HF group by 20% and 23%, respectively. In conclusion, these data suggest that BTS is an effective agent in improving lipid metabolism and antioxidant enzyme system.
