  • The aim of this study was to investigate whether there is the association between parents residence type and connubial bliss mediated to Korean married women. A total of 3,851 married women were selected from the database of the Fourth Korea Longitudinal Survey of Women and Families(KLoWF) in 2015-2016. In univariate analysis, there was statistically significant differences parents residence type, couple activity, family care and connubial bliss according to socio-demographic characteristics. Moreover, when the parents residence type is short distance, connubial bliss is higher, couple activity is more active and family care is more friendly attitued. By the result of sobel test, parents residence type was indirectly influenced on connubial bliss mediated to couple activity and family care. However, parents residence type was no directly influenced on connubial bliss mediated. The results of these studies will help design policy plans to improve the relationship between spouses and family members in a universal nuclear family society.

  • Bliss stated that one of the purposes of the classification was to demonstrate that a coherent and comprehensive system, based on the logical principles of classification and consistent with the systems of science and education, may be available to services in libraries, to aid revision of long established classifications and to provide an adaptable, efficient and economical classification, notation and index. A fundamental principle is the idea of subordination each specific subject is subordinated to the appropriate general one. The full scheme followed the publication of two massive theoretical works on the organization of knowledge. Its main feature was the carefully designed maul class order. reflecting Comte principle of gradation in speciality.

  • The aim of this study was to investigate whether there is the relationship between husband support and depression mediated to connubial bliss in Korean married women. A total of 2,120 married women were selected from the database of the Fourth Korea Longitudinal Survey of Women and Families (KLoWF) in 2011-2012. By the structure equation model, among of the husband support, the husband awareness was regarded as the dominant factor related to depression in Korean married women. Then comes couple activity, visiting of parents and division of household labor in that order. This study suggests that husband support significantly associated with connubial bliss and depression in Korean married women. The above findings will help design policy plans to reduce the depression of married women in the nation.

  • Recently engineering systems problems become quite large and complicated. For those problems, design requirements are fairly complex. It is not easy to design such systems by considering only one discipline. Therefore, we need a design methodology that can consider various disciplines. Multidisciplinary Design Optimization (MDO) is an emerging optimization method to include multiple disciplines. So far, about seven MDO methodologies have been proposed for MDO. They are Multidisciplinary Feasible (MDF), Individual Feasible (IDF), All-at-Once (AAO), Concurrent Subspace Optimization (CSSO), Collaborative Optimization (CO), Bi-Level Integrated System Synthesis (BLISS) and Multidisciplinary Optimization Based on Independent Subspaces (MDOIS). In this research, the performances of the methods are evaluated and compared. Practical engineering problems may not be appropriate for fairness. Therefore, mathematical problems are developed for the comparison. Conditions for fair comparison are defined and the mathematical problems are defined based on the conditions. All the methods are coded and the performances of the methods are compared qualitatively as well as quantitatively.

  • The purpose of this study is to predict the effective sky temperature on Osan City during the summer. The north latitude, east longitude of Osan City is $37^{\circ}06'$ and $127^{\circ}02'$. The altitude from the sea level is 48m. Empirical relations of the effective sky temperature suggested by Duffie and Beckman are compared on clear days. For the effective sky temperature prediction, data measured by the Korea Meteorological Administration is used as an input to the Bliss model. Both Hottel and Krondratyev model are used to calculate the water vapor emissivity. The results using Hottel's model match well with the empirical relation proposed by Bliss. The results show maximum, minimum, and average values depending on water vapor emissivity model. The maximum deviation is about 10K and is due to total emissivity model.

  • To estimate the radiative heat loss from greenhouses, a new equation for calculating the sky temperature is presented. The sky temperature in the Daegu region was measured using a pyrgeometer and calculated using different equations according to the cloudiness. The calculated and measured results were then compared to identify the best equation for calculating the sky temperature. The difference value between the air and sky temperature was dissimilar and increased as the cloud amount decreased. On clear days the difference value was 10~20 times greater than that on cloudy and rainy days. When analyzing the correlationship between the calculated and measured sky temperatures on clear days, Bliss's and Clark & Allen's equations were found to be superior to the other equations. However, on cloudy days, the best correlationship between the calculated and measured sky temperatures was exhibited by Fuentes's equation. Therefore, a new equation is proposed for calculating the sky temperature on a cloudy day.

  • Near the Capital Seoul in 19th century, a special architectural form was created by the Buddhist monks who were related with Royal families. Their temples, so called 'won-dang', were constructed as supplicating places for their patrons' happiness and heavenly bliss. Among buildings of a Won-dang temple, 'Great Hall', which was accepted as a new building type, was the most important, the earliest constructed, and the biggest one. This boiling type contained the complex functions of small chaples, living rooms of monks, kitchen and dining, and pilotied pavillions. This Great Hall was located at the front of Won-dang temples, the main worship halls were at the behind. The type of Won-dang was needed for the high female who were its powerful patrons, and was oliginated from the small Buddhist temples in rural areas. And the type was able to be domiciled itself at the Capital areas because of the existing architectural fondness of the regional architects and the patrons in high class.

  • This study is to find out the meaning of the death in Donne's "Holy Sonnets" and divine poems. Death issue is the important theme and is used frequently in his poems. He expresses an assertion of faith about the defeat of death and wishes to gain new birth and eternal life through death. Ironically death must be died for rebirth and an inevitable death. Death is another way to get new life and return to Christ. Many readers think that "Hymn to God my god, in my sickness" is Donne's most distinguished achievement in his divine poems. The poem shows that death must be accepted willingly because it is only through death that man can reach heavenly bliss and gain new life. He develops an antithetic parallel between two hills and two trees. Paradise and Adam's tree which brought death into the world are related analogically to Calvary and the Cross, which brought resurrection and eternal life. Death and resurrection are shown to be conjoined in the poem. To sum up, Donne tried to pursuit death for rebirth and modeled after Christ's death and Resurrection.
