In this paper, microstrip antenna is designed for industrial-scientific-medical(ISM)band of S-Band. We proposed that radiation element of antenna, which is rectangle patch shape. The feeding structure used L-shaped structure. Center frequency and -l0dB bandwidth are investigated by change of length and width in patch plane. And maximum gain, front to back ratio and 3dB beam width is presented by simulation radiation pattern of antenna in frequency ISM Band. The center frequency is 2.45GHz, band width is $2.314{\sim}2.577GHz$ with 263MHz(11%). And the antenna maximum gain is 9.3dBi, 3dB beam width E-plane is $52.5^{\circ}$, H-plane is $64.7^{\circ}$.
FGS (fine granularity scalability) supporting scalability in MPEG-4 Part 2 is a scalable video coding scheme that provides bit-rate adaptation to varying network bandwidth thereby achieving of its optimal video quality. In this paper, we proposed FGS coding scheme which performs one more bit-plane coding for residue signal occured in the enhancement-layer of the basic FGS coding scheme. The experiment evaluated in terms of video quality scalability of the proposed FGS coding scheme by comparing with FGS coding scheme of the MPEG-4 verification model (VM-FGS). The comparison was conducted by analysis of PSNR values of three tested video sequences. The results showed that when using rate control algorithm VM5+, the proposed FGS coding scheme obtained Y, U, V PSNR of 0.4 dB, 9.4 dB, 9 dB averagely higher and when using fixed QP value 17, obtained Y, U, V PSNR of 4.61 dB, 20.21 dB, 16.56 dB averagely higher than the existing VM-FGS. From results, we found that the proposed FGS coding scheme has higher video quality scalability to be able to achieve video quality from minimum to maximum than VM-FGS.
In-plane and out-of-plane free vibration analysis of Timoshenko curved beams is addressed based on the isogeometric method, and an effective scheme to avoid numerical locking in both of the two patterns is proposed in this paper. The isogeometric computational model takes into account the effects of shear deformation, rotary inertia and axis extensibility of curved beams, and is applicable for uniform circular beams, and more complicated variable curvature and cross-section beams as illustrated by numerical examples. Meanwhile, it is shown that, the $C^{p-1}$-continuous NURBS elements remarkably have higher accuracy than the finite elements with the same number of degrees of freedom. Nevertheless, for in-plane or out-of-plane vibration analysis of Timoshenko curved beams, the NURBS-based isogeometric method also exhibits locking effect to some extent. To eliminate numerical locking, the selective reduced one-point integration and $\bar{B}$ projection element based on stiffness ratio is devised to achieve locking free analysis for in-plane and out-of-plane models, respectively. The suggested integral schemes for moderately slender models obtain accurate results in both dominated and non-dominated regions of locking effect. Moreover, this strategy is effective for beam structures with different slenderness. Finally, the influence factors of structural parameters of curved beams on their natural frequency are scrutinized.

In this paper, electromagnetic waves were measured in accordance with propagating the discharge when positive and negative DC high voltage was applied to needle-plane electrdes and plane-plane electrdes that solid dielectric was inserted between the electrodes. The radiated electromagnetic waves were investigated in bandwidth of VHF($30{\sim}230$[MHz]) using an biconical antenna. In needle-plane electrodes high electric field intensity is shown in both frequency band of 90(MHz) and 170[MHz], and gradually decreasing characteric is appeared at high frequency band. However high electric field intensity is shown in both 80[MHz] and 140[MHz] in case of plane-plane electrodes configuration. And over 150[MHz] frequency band, rapidly decreasing characteristic is shown. Moreover, electric field intensity of positive DC is about $5{\sim}10$[dB] higher than negative DC.

We have investigated about compensation film to reduce the light leakage at an oblique angle in-plane switching mode. It is well known that uncompensated in-plane switching (US) and fringe field switching (FFS) liquid crystal displays (LCDs) have much better viewing angle than other modes owing to the in-plane rotation of the LC director. However, to accomplish optimal viewing angle characteristics in these devices, they must be compensated by one or more films. So, in this paper, we have studied how to reduce the light leakage with viewing angle using discotic film in dark state.
We classify all semigroups each of which arises as a Weierstrass semigroup at a pair of non-Weierstrass points on a smooth plane curve of degree 5. First we find the candidates of semigroups by computing the dimensions of linear series on the curve. Then, by constructing examples of smooth plane curves of degree 5, we prove that each of the candidates is actually a Weierstrass semigroup at some pair of points on the curve. We need to study the systems of quadratic curves, which cut out the canonical series on the plane curve of degree 5.
Tensor product immersions of a given Riemannian manifold was initiated by B.-Y. Chen. In the present article we study the tensor product surfaces of two Euclidean plane curves. We show that a tensor product surface M of a plane circle $c_1$ centered at origin with an Euclidean planar curve $c_2$ has harmonic Gauss map if and only if M is a part of a plane. Further, we give necessary and sufficient conditions for a tensor product surface M of a plane circle $c_1$ centered at origin with an Euclidean planar curve $c_2$ to have pointwise 1-type Gauss map.

An upper bound elemental technique (UBET) is applied to predict variations of neutral plane and optimal position of the initial billet for rib-wep shaped ring forging. In the analysis, the neutral plane position and velocity fields are determined by minimizing the total power consump- tion with respect to chosen parameters. The degree of die-cavity filling by initial billet-position and the variations of neutral plane by friction condition are investigated. Experiments have been carried out with pure plasticine billets at room temperature. The theoretical predictions of the forging load and the flow pattern are in good agrement with the experimental results.

In this paper, smoothing plane connector have been proposed as the vehicle connector for the wireless access in vehicular environments (5.925GHz) communication. This smoothing plane connector is designed by considering the properties of critical parameter like smoothing distance of start to end point of contact area. The design simulation and results can be used to determine the most suitable smoothing plane wire dimensions for vehicle communication connector. The optimized WAVE connector inserted the smoothing plane wire has insertion loss less than-0.17dB at 5.925GHz. It provides 20% of insertion loss with good performance. Therefore, the simulated results can be effectively used for optimum design of high frequency connector for vehicle communication.
The one-sided fattenings (called semi-ribbon graph in this paper) of the graph embedded in the real projective plane ℝℙ2 are completely classified up to topological equivalence. A planar graph (i.e., embedded in the plane), admitting the one-sided fattening, is known to be a cactus boundary. For the graphs embedded in ℝℙ2 admitting the one-sided fattening, unlike the planar graphs, a new building block appears: a bracelet along the Möbius band, which is not a connected summand of the oriented surfaces.
