  • In this paper, we introduce the notion of a slant lightlike submanifold of an indefinite Sasakian manifold. We provide a non-trivial example and obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of a slant lightlike submanifold. Also, we prove some characterization theorems.

  • Met $\tilde{M} = (\tilde{M}, \tilde{J}, <>)$ be an almost Hermitian manifold and M a submanifold of $\tilde{M}$. According to the behavior of the tangent bundle TM with respect to the action of $\tilde{J}$, we have two typical classes of submanifolds. One of them is the class of almost complex submanifolds and another is the class of totally real submanifolds. In 1990, B. Y. Chen [4], [5] introduced the concept of the class of slant submanifolds which involve the above two classes. He used the Wirtinger angle to measure the behavior of TM with respect to the action of $\tilde{J}$.

  • In studying smooth 4-manifolds the Donaldson invariant has played a central role. In [D1] Donaldson showed that non-vanishing Donaldson invariant of a smooth closed oriented 4-manifold X gives rise to the indecomposability of X. For instance, the complex algebraic suface X cannot decompose to a connected sum $X_1 #X_2$ with both $b_2^+(X_i) > 0$.

  • A Gauss map of m-dimensional distribution on a Riemannian manifold M is called a harmonic Gauss map if it is a harmonic map from the manifold into its Grassmann bundle $G_m$(TM) of m-dimensional tangent subspace. We calculate the tension field of the Gauss map of m-dimensional distribution and especially show that the Hopf fibrations on $S^{4n+3}$ are the harmonic Gauss map of 3-dimensional distribution.

  • A symplectic manifold is a pair (M, $\omega$) consisting of a smooth manifold M and a non-degenerate closed 2-form $\omega$ on M. Locally, $\omega$ = (equation omitted) and d$\omega$ = 0, when n = dimM. The condition d$\omega$ = 0 implies that locally $\omega$ = d${\alpha}$ with ${\alpha}$ = (equation omitted). There are three main sources of symplectic manifolds.(omitted)

  • We investigate the spacelike hypersurface Mn with constant mean curvature (CMC) in a Lorentz Einstein manifold Ln+11, which is supposed to obey some appropriate curvature constraints. Applying a suitable Simons type formula jointly with the well known generalized maximum principle of Omori-Yau, we obtain some rigidity classification theorems and pinching theorems of hypersurfaces.

  • Let M be a curvature homogeneous or ball-homogeneous non-$coK{\ddot{a}}hler$ almost $coK{\ddot{a}}hler$ 3-manifold. In this paper, we prove that M is locally isometric to a unimodular Lie group if and only if the Reeb vector field ${\xi}$ is an eigenvector field of the Ricci operator. To extend this result, we prove that M is homogeneous if and only if it satisfies ${\nabla}_{\xi}h=2f{\phi}h$, $f{\in}{\mathbb{R}}$.

  • In this article, the notion of *-conformal Ricci soliton is defined as a self similar solution of the *-conformal Ricci flow. A Sasakian 3-metric satisfying the *-conformal Ricci soliton is completely classified under certain conditions on the soliton vector field. We establish a relation with Fano manifolds and proves a homothety between the Sasakian 3-metric and the Berger Sphere. Also, the potential vector field V is a harmonic infinitesimal automorphism of the contact metric structure.

  • The aim of this article is to examine some types of slant submanifolds of bronze Riemannian manifolds. We introduce hemi-slant submanifolds of a bronze Riemannian manifold. We obtain integrability conditions for the distribution involved in quasi hemi-slant submanifold of a bronze Riemannian manifold. Also, we give some examples about this type submanifolds.
