Energy Saving System Based on the Human Sensing Technique (인체감지를 통한 에너지절약 시스템 개발)

  • This research is investigated an energy saving system based on human detecting technique. It saves a lot of energy by automatic switching method of lighting, appliance, and so on. Existence of people on space is detected by infrared ray sensor. If there is not anybody during definite time, then main controller of system sends "power off" signal to lighting switches, and outlets. When people are detected again, turn on lighting switches and outlets. Result of this research is adaptable for classrooms and offices, and great effect of energy saving is expected.

  • The lockup clutch is embeded on torque converter of automatic transmission to prevent the efficiency deterioration of torque converter in high speed. For improving fuel consumption rate, it is desirable to engage the lockup clutch earlier. But, it results in degrading shift quality, due to the transient torque. The transient clutch pressure which affects the shifting quality, should be controlled properly. In this study, to solve the problem, it is analysed the hydraulic circuit of lockup system including line pressure regulating circuit, established the nonlinear model, and designed the PID controller. The line pressure is supplied to the lockup clutch through the lockup control valve by switching the lockup solenoid valve on. In order to control the transient pressure actively, it is needed to control the lockup solenoid valve by closed loop control. The lockup solenoid valve is 2-way on-off valve, and is adequate for PWM control. To reduce the pressure chattering, the carrier frequency is increased. Target pressure profile is computed from optimized velocity difference profile throuth dynamic equation of vehicle system.

  • The power semiconductor is widely used in the power plant or industrial field because of genealization and enlargement. It has been controlled and operated according to its own control method. Especially in case of Power plant, it plays a major role in AVR(Automatic Voltage Regulator) or electro chlorination control circuits. Generally, they used in Analog control system at above field. But each SCR current value is different because of load unbalance or switching characteristic variations, it may cause power plant unit trip or system disorder according to SCR element burn out or bad operating condition. Therefore, in this paper a development of 3 phase current balance control algorithm is described. it gets over the past analog control system limit, controls SCR gate firing angle for 3 phase current balance.

  • Analysis of the transient stability of power systems following disturbances involves many sets of non-linear differential equations. This paper attempts to analyze the transient stability of multi-machine power systems by the step by step method, using the electronic digital computer. The critical switching times and phase angles for the main 154KV transmission system in Korea, are given from the swing curves of the probable conditions. It is concluded that the system is, in general, stable if the relay is cut off within 12 cycles after the fault. However the fault of DAEGU-SANGJU branch, accompanying much real power, makes the system unstable when the raly is cut off within 4 cycles after fault or automatic voltage regulators are equipped in this branch.

  • This paper presents the implementation of the low cost and high speed RF ATE(Automatic Test Equipment) system, which can be a reasonable solution for reducing the test cost of RF devices. This paper suggests high speed and precise measurement capabilities which are realized by the 16 independent RF ports with high speed switching time and high accuracy digitizer using the industry standard Versus module eXtensions for Instrument(VXI) General Purpose Interface Bus(GPIB) interfaces. Also, the system has the capabilities of quad-site test which can dramatically increase the device throughput. This paper concludes with the demonstration of the implemented ATE system through the setup of RF Power Amplifier Module(PAM), which is under the most competitive market situation.

  • The purpose of this paper is to develop the straightforward design guidelines of PD/PID speed controller for Industry servo drives with plug and play concept. The controller gains are uniquely determined from the current control loop dynamics, speed loop delay, and mechanical parameters. In order to eliminate the mechanical friction uncertainties, an automatic PD/PI control mode switching algorithm Is introduced using online spectrum analysis of motor torque command. The dynamic performance of the proposed scheme assures a fast tracking response curve with minimal oscillation and settling time over the whole operating conditions. For comprehensive comparison of conventional PI control scheme, extensive test is carried out on actual servo system.

  • Advanced Intelligent Network Intelligent Peripheral (AIN IP) is one of the AIN elements which consist of Service Control Point (SCP), Service Switching Point (SSP), and IP for AIN services, such as play announcement, digit collect, voice recognition/synthesis, voice prompt and receipt. This paper, featuring ISUP/INAP protocols, describes the procedures for call setup/release bearer channels between SSP/SCP and IP, todeliver specialized resources through the bearer channels, and it describes the structure and procedure for AIN services such as Automatic Collect Call (ACC), Universal Personal Telecommunication (UPT), and teleVOTing(VOT).   • In order to improve the quality of electricity in large scale power systems, stability of power system has to be achieved. This can be done by the means of preventative diagnosis of power equipments and protection, monitoring and control of the power system. Since the recent adoption of digital controllers, an improvement in stability was observed; in particular, IED, which contained self-diagnostic abilities such as fault tolerance, allowed for automatic recovery via redundancy or switching-over functions should there be faults with the equipments. Furthermore, communication lines have been hugely simplified, thus adding to the improvement in stability significantly. Taking these error reports and forecasting emergency reports and by effectively responding to them in the overiding controlling systems, high levels of system stability can be obtained. Power Management System that is being applied to automated power sub-stations, takes the IEC61850 international standard as its specification. In this paper, additional research into achieving stability of already developed PMS system and also the stability of the overall system was carried out, and the results of development of communication servers, which play a pivotal role in connecting systems, are stated.

A High-Performnce Sensorloss Control System of Reluctance Synchronous Motor with Direct Torque Control by Consideration of Nonlinerarly Inductances

  • this paper presents an implementation of digital control system of speed sensorless for Reluctance Synchronous Motor (RSM) drives with direct torque control (DTC). The problem of DTC for high-dynamic performance RSM drive is generating a nonlinear torque due to a saturated nonlinear inductance curve with various load currents. The control system consists of stator flux observer, compensating inductance look-up table, rotor position/speed/torque estimator, two hysteresis band controllers, an optimal switching look-up table, IGBT voltage source unverter, and TMS320C31 DSP controller. The stator flux observer is based on the combined voltage and current model with stator flux feedback adapitve control that inputs are the compensated inductances, current and voltage sensing of motor terminal with estimated rotor angle for wide speed range. The rotor position is estimated rotor speed is determined by differentiation of the rotor position used only in the current model part of the flux observer for a low speed operation area. It does not requrie the knowledge of any montor paramenters, nor particular care for moter starting, In order to prove the suggested control algorithm, we have simulation and testing at actual experimental system. The developed sensorless control system is showing a good speed control response characterisitic result and high performance features in 20/1500 rpm with 1.0Kw RSM having 2.57 ratio of d/q reluctance.

Neural Theorem Prover with Word Embedding for Efficient Automatic Annotation (효율적인 자동 주석을 위한 단어 임베딩 인공 신경 정리 증명계 구축)

  • We present a system that automatically annotates unverified Web sentences with information from credible sources. The system turns to neural theorem proving for an annotating task for cancer related Wikipedia data (1,486 propositions) with Korean National Cancer Center data (19,304 propositions). By switching the recursive module in a neural theorem prover to a word embedding module, we overcome the fundamental problem of tremendous learning time. Within the identical environment, the original neural theorem prover was estimated to spend 233.9 days of learning time. In contrast, the revised neural theorem prover took only 102.1 minutes of learning time. We demonstrated that a neural theorem prover, which encodes a proposition in a tensor, includes a classic theorem prover for exact match and enables end-to-end differentiable logic for analogous words.
