검사공정 자동화를 위한 실시간 비전알고리즘 개발 및 응용에 관한 연구 (A Study on Development and Application of Real Time Vision Algorithm for Inspection Process Automation)

  • This study proposes a non-contact inspective technology based robot vision system for Faulty Inspection of welding States and Parts Shape. The maine focus is real time implementation of the machining parts' automatic inspection by the robotic moving. For this purpose, the automatic test instrument inspects the precision components designator the vision system. pattern Recognition Technologies and Precision Components for vision inspection technology and precision machining of precision parts including the status and appearance distinguish between good and bad. To perform a realization of a real-time automation integration system for the precision parts of manufacturing process, it is designed a robot vision system for the integrated system controller and verified the reliability through experiments. The main contents of this paper, the robot vision technology for noncontact inspection of precision components and machinery parts is useful technology for FA.

  • In machining a part in CAD/CAM system, it is required that the drawing information should be automatically generated, modified, deleted, and thus be used as an general information throughout the entire manufacturing process. This research addresses basic entities(point, line, circle, arc) for design feature and combination of this features, based on GT concepts, with minimum user's manual input. This paper deals with the generalization of operating system which can cover the s parts which appears in mechanical part handbook and the basic constitutional part of sold base. The system developed shows a strong application impact on automatic process planning system of medium - size injection sold companies.

중소조선용 철의장 가공자동화시스템 개발 (An Automated Machining System for Steel Flat Bar Plasma Cutting in the Small Sized Shipbuilding Industry)

  • 조선업종은 숙련공의 감소와 노동력 부족을 해결하기 위해 자동화와 기계화가 필요하다. 특히 조선용 핸드레일 제조공정은 표준화된 타 분야와 달리 자동화가 낙후되어 있다. 본 연구에서는 조선용 핸드레일 제작에 사용할 수 있는 철의장 가공자동화시스템을 설계하고 개발하였다. 시스템의 기구부는 절단공정의 효율성, 생산성, 안정성 등을 고려하여 설계하였고, CATIA 와 ANSYS를 사용하여 구조물의 안정성을 확인하였다. 시스템 제어부는 개방성과 확장성을 제공하는 PCNC 콘트롤러를 사용하였고, 터치스크린 방식의 화면 조작을 통해 시스템의 제어 및 모니터링을 할 수 있도록 구축하였다. 개발된 철의장 가공자동화시스템은 수차의 구동테스트 및 가공테스트를 통해 성능의 우수성을 입증하여 실용단계에 있다.

반도체 제조공정에서 품질과 생산성을 고려한 자동 계측 샘플링 방법 (An Auto Metrology Sampling Method Considering Quality and Productivity for Semiconductor Manufacturing Process)

  • This paper proposes an automatic measurement sampling method for the semiconductor manufacturing process. The method recommends sampling rates using information of process capability indexes and production scheduling plan within the restricted metrology capacity. In addition, it automatically controls the measurement WIP (Work In Process) using measurement priority values to minimize the measurement risks and optimize the measurement capacity. The proposed sampling method minimizes measurement controls in the semiconductor manufacturing process and improves the fabrication productivity via reducing measurement TAT (Turn Around Time), while guaranteeing the level of process quality.

  • In this study, a manufacturing process for PV module has been developed using an automatic arraying equipment. It is expected that this process could improve the productivity and curtail the production cost in the photovoltaic module production line. From the results, it is proved that this process reduces Line-stop and enhances the productivity more than 15% a day which can be related directly to the production line cost.

  • This paper describes the automatic generation of sequence control programs for DCS(Distributed Control System), PLC(Programable Logic Controller) and so on. Since there is no same manufacturing process, it is difficult to standardize sequence programs. We propose the automatic sequence control program generator which is CAD software using knowledge engineering technique.

  • Visual defect inspection for electronics parts manufacturing processes is comprised of 2 steps - automatic visual inspection by machine and inspection by human inspectors. It is necessary that spatial points which were detected by the machine should be adequately clustered for subsequent human inspection. This research deals with the spatial clustering algorithm for the purpose of process productivity improvement. Distribution based clustering is newly developed and experimentally confirmed to show better clustering efficiency than existing algorithm - area based clustering.

  • Small cracks or chips of a product appear very frequently in the course of continuous production of an automatic press process system. These phenomena became the cause of not only defective product but also damage of a press mold. In order to solve this problem AE(Acoustic emission) system was introduced. AE system was expected to be very effective to real time detection of the defective product and for the prevention of the damage in the press molds In this study, for the pick and analysis of AE signals generated from the press process, AE sensors/pre-amplifier/analysis and processing board were used as frequently found in the other similar cases. For the analysis and processing the AE signals picked in real time from the normal or the detective products, specialized software called AE-win(software for processing AE signal from Physical Acoustics Corporation) was used. As a result of this work it was conformed that intensity and shape of the various AE signals differ depending on the weight of the press and thickness of sheet and process type.

  • The tire manufacturing process demands classification of tire types when the tires are transferred between the inner processes. Though most processes are being well automated, the classification relies greatly upon the visual inspection of humen. This has been an obstacle to the factory automation of tire manufacturing companies. This paper proposes an effective vision systems which can be usefully applied to the tire classification process in real time. The system adopts a parallel architecture using multiple transputers and contains the algorithms of preprocesssing for character recognition. The system can be easily expandable to manipulate the large data that can be processed seperately.

STEP AP224를 이용한 특징 형상의 가공 순서 계획 (Sequence Planning of Machining Features using STEP AP224)

  • As a bridge between design and manufacturing, process planning is to generate a sequenced set of instructions to manufacture the specified part. Automatic interpretation of manufacturing information incorporated in the design documentation such as CAD file has been a knotty subject for manufacturing engineers since no current data exchange format for product data provides a perfect interface between heterogeneous systems. The recent neutral data exchange format STEp, standard for the exchange of product model data, includes not only geometry but also technical and managerial information. STEP AP(Application Protocol) 224 is specifically dedicated to the mechanical product definition for process planning using machining features. Given a design information in STEP AP 224 format, process planning can be made without human intervention. This paper describes a method to determine the sequence of machining features by using the machining features and the manufacturing information expressed in STEP AP224.
