During the period from 5 to 15 , August 1965 , the author had made collection of flies at Mt. Sol-ak, Kangwon-Do and a total of 2000 specimens was collected . A close examination of the specimens reveals that Sarcophaga sichotealini (Rohdendorf, 1938) and anthomyia illocata Walker , 1956 wer ehitherto unreported from Korea. The author wishes to express his deep appreciation to Dr, Rokuro Kano to whom he owes for the identification of the said two species.

This paper elaborates on difficulties when ones tried to apply domestically developed technology to other countries from both technical and sociological aspects. Next, the author proposes possible solutions to expand the applicability of domestic technology. The main one is breaking down a technology to smaller components so that anybody can clarify the applicability of each component. The author presents an example of this methodology to flood hazard mapping.

According to the principle of KCR (Korean Cataloging Rules), all headings should be done in Korean. But due to the existence of homonym, arising between Korean and Chinese character, both of them are used in Korea, it is impossible to distinguish original Chiness character of author's name. Therefore, a method to correctly distinguish the Heading in Korean by co-writing Chinese character for headings in Korean character in the author space of body of the entry is presented.

Since 1984, the author has been studying the Daedong flora and has collected a large number of fossil plants from the Amisan Formation of Nampo Group distributed in Chungnam Coal-Field. One of the fossil plants was bennettitalean male flower, which was collected in 1986. The author described it as Weltrichia sp. The occurrence of Weltrichia sp. is the first record in the Early Mesozoic Daedong flora of Korea.

A case of 35-year-man with a rhabdomyosarcoma in the mandible has been presented. Chief complaints are dull sensation and growing mass at the area of the right mandible. In order to make diagnosis, roentgenograms were taken which revealed some sort of radiopaque and punched appearane at the area from right body to angle of the mandible, and biopsy was made, by which rhabdomyosarcoma was observed. The author treated this patient in terms of hemimandiblectomy, neck dissection and resin-made mandible implantation, and has observed this patient for two and half years after operation. The author satisfy that this patient has been recovered.

The author has analyzed the ecological problems caused by city development and the comprehensive benefits of green space(e.g. ecological, social and economic benefits). The important role of green space in city sustainable development was discussed. Through benefits analysis of green space in city development in Kunming City, the author offered specific measures for green space protection in Kunming: strengthen plant management according to law; enhance nation awareness of plant protection; rationally plan city green land system;and use scientific forms of green land.

Having previously presented an article entitled "Further approximate optimum inspection intervals" in this Journal, here the author derives an alternative set of general explicit formulae using Cardan's solution to a cubic equation and presents a modified heuristic algorithm for solving Baker's model. The examples show that this new alternative approximate solution procedure for determining near optimum inspection intervals is as accurate and computationally efficient as the one suggested in the previous article. Through the examples, the author also indicates the relative merits and demerits of the two algorithms.

It is of great importance for any vessel under way especially in rough sea to be maneuvered safely with proper seakeeping performance. In this paper the author aims to develope a navigational safety evaluation system in rough sea by analysis and the theory of evaluating the seakeeping performance The author suggests a computer model of navigational safety evaluation system and examined the validity of the model by computer simulation.

The article discusses the independence concept occurring in the learning of probability. The author does not distinguishes the independence in the events from the independence in the trials. Instead, the author suggests the physico-empirical independence and the logico-mathematical independence to distinguish between the two concepts.

Let Hp(·)A (ℝn) be the variable anisotropic Hardy space defined via the non-tangential grand maximal function. In this paper, the author obtains the boundedness of anisotropic convolutional ��-type Calderón-Zygmund operators from Hp(·)A (ℝn) to Lp(·) (ℝn) or from Hp(·)A (ℝn) to itself. In addition, the author also obtains the duality between Hp(·)A (ℝn) and the anisotropic Campanato spaces with variable exponents.
