Monitoring is the most important part of the construction and operation of the embankment dams. Applied instruments in these dams should be determined based on dam requirements and specifications. Instruments selection considered as one of the most important steps of monitoring plan. Competent instruments selection for dams is very important, as inappropriate selection causes irreparable loss in critical condition. Lack of a systematic method for determining instruments has been considered as a problem for creating an efficient selection. Nowadays, decision making methods have been used widely in different sciences for optimal determination and selection. In this study, the Multi-Attribute Decision Making is applied by considering 9 criteria and categorisation of 8 groups of geotechnical instruments. Therefore, the Analytic Hierarchy Process and Multi-Criteria Optimisation and Compromise Solution methods are employed in order to determine the attributes' importance weights and to prioritise of instruments for embankment dams, respectively. This framework was applied for a rock fill with clay core dam. The results indicated that group decision making optimizes the selection and prioritisation of monitoring instruments for embankment dams, and selected instruments are reliable based on the dam specifications.
Rough set theory comes to derive optimal rules through the effective selection of features from the redundancy of lots of information in data mining using the concept of equivalence relation and approximation space in rough set. The reduction of attributes is one of the most important parts in its applications of rough set. This paper purports to define a information-theoretic measure for determining the most important attribute within the association of attributes using rough entropy. The proposed method generates the effective reduct set and formulates the core of the attribute set through the elimination of the redundant attributes. Subsequently, the control rules are generated with a subset of feature which retain the accuracy of the original features through the reduction.

Connecting with cost, schedule, and quality in a construction project, resource management is one of the essential management elements. However, the material requirement planning is built at the beginning stage of construction and needs various concerned factors, it is limited to build the resource management planning on enterprise level. The disconnected communication among managements makes impossible to control historical data. In the construction project control system, the core of management elements is to manage cost and schedule information, therefore material requirement planning should be established based on historical data about EVM which is intergating schedule and cost. In this study, a resource management system concerning material requirement planning and attribute of procurement is suggested by connecting the historical data of EVM and the material requirement planning.
Software product line (SPL) engineering is a reuse paradigm that helps organizations increase productivity and improve product quality by developing product from reusable core assets. In SPL, product configuration is the process of selecting the desired features and feature attributes for a given product from a feature model. In order to develop a successful product, feature and feature attribute selection that can achieve the product goal is important. There can be thousands of features and feature attributes resulting in myriads of configurations and finding the best configuration efficiently is a hard task. This paper proposes a systematic process for feature-based product configuration. To support development of a product that satisfys all product goals(business goals and quality goals), a model showing how feature and feature attribute combinations are related to product goals is included and a method for deriving an optimal product configuration using the model is proposed.
This study was carried out to investigate the addition of water-soluble isoflavone into milk by means of microencapsulation technique. The yield of microencapsulation, sensory attributes, and capsule stability of water-soluble isoflavone microcapsules in milk were measured. Coating materials used was polyglycerol monostearate (PGMS), and core material was water-soluble isoflavone. The encapsulation yield of water-soluble isoflavone with PGMS was 67.2% when the ratio of coating material to core material was 15 : 1. The rate of water-soluble isoflavone release from capsules was 18, 19, and 25% when stored at 4,20, and $30^{\circ}C$ for 12 days in milk, respectively. In sensory evaluation, beany flavor and color of microencapsuled water-soluble isoflavone added milk were significantly different from uncapsuled water-soluble isoflavone added milk, however, bitterness was not significantly different. In vitro study, micro-capsules of water-soluble isoflavone in simulated gastric fluid with the range of 3 to 6 pHs were released 3.0∼15.0%, however, the capsules in simulated intestinal fluid with pH 7 were released 95.7% for 40 min incubation time. In conclusion, this study provided that PGMS as coating materials was suitable for the microencapsulation of water-soluble isoflavone, and the capsule containing milk was almost not affected with sensory attribute.
This paper investigates changing processes of new product development (NPD) systems. In order to continuously develop first-class products, world wide super-class products and hit products, R&D (Research & Development) must be competitive. Firms must achieve competitiveness in terms of quality and cost by launching new products. Most films focus on improving effectiveness and efficiency of NPD process. However, sometimes, they face to the critical challenge of transforming NPD processes entirely reflecting dramatic change of their core products. Transforming of NPD process is difficult in that it involves technological and organizational changes in marketing, R&D, Engineering and manufacturing systems. The purpose of this paper is to shed light on processes and factors affecting successful transformation of new product development systems. We present a case study on the changing processes of S company's NPD process. S company has changed new product development systems successfully from a major IT equipment supplier to an automotive supplier. Empirical results show successful changes of 10 core NPD processes from understanding the market and customers process to after sales process. In case of transformation of NPD, adaption of attribute of business is crucial for success factors in the process innovation. This paper shows the bridging the gap between IT and automotive industrial dynamics and growth through adaption of two processes in the NPD.
Emotion recognition and regular controls are concentrated interest in computer studies to emotional changes. Thus, the quantified by objective assessment methods are essential for application of color sensibility computing situations. In this paper, it is applied to a digital color image emotion emotional computing calculations numbered recognized as one representation. Emotional computing research approach consists of a color attribute to the image recognition focused sensibility and emotional attributes of color is the color, brightness and saturation separated by. Computes the sensitivity weighted according to the score and the percentage increase or decrease in the sensitivity property tone applied to emotional expression. Sensitivity calculation is free-degree (X), and calculates the tension (Y-axis). And free-level (X-axis) coordinate of emotion, which is located the intersection of the tension (Y-axis) as a sensitivity point. The emotional effect of the Russell coordinates are utilizing the core (Core Affect). Tue numbers represent the size and sensitivity in the emotional relationship between emotional point location and quantified by computing the color sensibility.
In this research, we study to find core factor of the perceived quality of internal quality and external quality factors on agriculture products and food industry. By empirical research, we prove that the perceived quality effects to the customer attitude on agricultural products and food Industry. The results of this research can contribute in working-level practical use about quality problem in agriculture products and food industry. The latest interest of customer attitude on agricultural products and food Industry is being rosed.

Keeping the semantic interoperability between different formats is very important for reuseing and consistently processing metadata. This article is to design common schema and KORMARC schema based on RDF schema. For this, common elements are made by comparison of Dublin Core elements and KORMARC fields. The schema of these elements is designed for construction of semantic interoperability, basing RDF schema specification and syntax specification. Eventually, the semantic interoperability between a number of metadata formats can be constructed by matching the common elements to each attribute of format. KORMARC schema is designed by the application of common schema.
Colin Rowe's 'Transparency' is one of core ideas applied to 20th Modern Architecture. It implies not only an optical characteristic, the perfectly clear, but also a broader spacial order, a simultaneous perception of different spacial locations. The former connected with physical attribute itself, and the latter deeply with the metaphorical idea of time, 'Simultaneity', embodying a new spacial quality. However, If we analyze the meaning of "Simultaneity" implicated in "Transparency" with the perspective of Henry Bergson's "Duration", there would be only little possibility as a solution to the problem of embodying a new spacial quality in architecture. As such a question emerging, this paper attempts to point out the problem of Colin Rowe's idea, "Simultaneity", and suggest a new architectural design method to overcome its inconsistency by interpretation and application of Bergson's "Image and Rhythm".
