  • Purpose: This study investigated the effects of perfume purchasing behavioral factors on purchase satisfaction with 328 adolescents. Conclusions: In conclusion, it was found that among the six factors affecting purchasing behavior of perfume, the variables that had a statistically significant effect on purchase satisfaction were internal pleasure-seeking (p.<001) and fashion-seeking (p.<001). This is thought to affect purchase satisfaction by reflecting attractive images, favorable feelings, and pleasure by using perfumes preferred by adolescents. In addition, it is thought that the psychological characteristics of adolescents who want to follow trends while pursuing trends when purchasing perfumes are reflected.

  • In this study we adapt discrete weibull regression model for clustered count data. Discrete weibull regression model has an attractive feature that it can handle both under and over dispersion data. We analyzed the eighth Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES VIII) from 2019 to assess the factors influencing the 1 month outpatient stay in 17 different regions. We compared the results using clustered discrete Weibull regression model with those of Poisson, negative binomial, generalized Poisson and Conway-maxwell Poisson regression models, which are widely used in count data analyses. The results show that the clustered discrete Weibull regression model using random intercept model gives the best fit. Simulation study is also held to investigate the performance of the clustered discrete weibull model under various dispersion setting and zero inflated probabilities. In this paper it is shown that using a random effect with discrete Weibull regression can flexibly model count data with various dispersion without the risk of making wrong assumptions about the data dispersion.

  • The effect of the parameters for few-layered graphene growth by thermal CVD on nickel substrate was investigated. Graphene can be synthesized by using different strategies. Chemical vapor deposition (CVD) has known as one of the most attractive methods to produce graphene due to its good film uniformity, compatibility and large scale production. The control of parameters such as temperature, growth time and pressure in CVD process has been widely recognized as the most important process in graphene growth. Different carbon precursors, methane and acetylene, were introduced in the quartz tube with a variety of growth conditions. Raman spectroscopy was used to confirm the presence of a few- or multi-layered graphene.

  • VANETs have become one of the most attractive research areas in the world of wireless networks in recent years. Indeed, vehicular networks have become capable of optimizing road traffic, which significantly reduces the number of accidents through notifications exchanged between nearby vehicles. The routing function based on the opportunistic algorithm is a critical part of the vehicle's communication system and will therefore be an ideal target for attacks that could aim to prevent alert messages from reaching their destination, and thus endanger human lives. The black hole attack is a major threat to the security of VANETs. The main idea of this paper focuses on the analysis of this type of attack in VANETs using Discrete-Time Markov Chains (DTMC). and deduce at the end the effect of the number of malicious nodes on the delivery rate in the network.

  • SiC power device possesses attractive features, such as high breakdown voltage, high-speed switching capability, and high temperature operation. In general, device design has a significant effect on the switching characteristics. In this work, we report the effect of the interface states ($Q_f$) on the transient characteristics of SiC DMOSFETs. The key design parameters for SiC DMOSFETs have been optimized by using a physics-based two-dimensional (2-D) mixed device and circuit simulator by Silvaco Inc. When the $SiO_2$/SiC interface charge decreases, power losses and switching time also decrease, primarily due to the lowered channel mobilities. High density interface states can result in increased carrier trapping, or more recombination centers or scattering sites. Therefore, the quality of $SiO_2$/SiC interfaces has a important effect on both the static and transient properties of SiC MOSFET devices.

  • Consumers believe it is more profitable to buy products at a discount price than at a fixed price. However, consumers who miss an opportunity for a discount would experience regret; consequently, they may also forgo a purchase despite experiencing regret if a subsequent opportunity was no more attractive than the initial one. This phenomenon has been conceptualized as inaction inertia. In this study we investigate if consumers showed behavior of inaction inertia under the situation of fashion products purchase as well as if price and involvement had a moderating effect on product purchase. The following are the results of the research based on an empirical investigation. First, according to the results of influence of inaction inertia on purchase intention, respondents exposed to scenario of experiencing similar price discount in the past, both under high-price situations and low-price situations, made statistically fewer responses than those exposed to situations without such experience; therefore, effect of inaction inertia could be confirmed. Second, the moderating effect of product price on relationships between inaction inertia and purchase intention was not statistically significant.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the impacts of the lasciviousness of news anchor's mention on viewers'negative emotions, news reliability and their attitude towards the broadcasting company. This study also analyzed the moderating effect of anchor's attractiveness and viewers' sex. First, the more lascivious anchor's mention in news report gets, the more negative the viewers felt. Second, stronger lascivious expressions of news anchor's mention in news report had a negative effect on news reliability. Third, the moderating effect of the anchor attractiveness was found when news anchor's mention influences the viewers' attitude towards the broadcasting company : those who thought news anchor attractive showed less negative emotions and their news reliability and attitude towards the broadcasting company were higher compared to those who thought news anchor less attractive. Fourth, the moderating effect of the viewers' sex was found when news anchor's mention influences on viewers' negative emotions and the viewers' attitude towards the broadcasting company. This study has an academic and practical implication by studying the lasciviousness of news anchor's mention and anchor's attractiveness. This study is also a new approach of integrating the fields of journalism : News report and Anchor into the marketing fields : Attractiveness and Reliability. This can be meaningful for both journalism and marketing field.

  • Due to the coronavirus pandemic, interest in outdoor leisure activities is growing. Among outdoor leisure activities, marine sports can be seen as having good conditions to enjoy in Korea. In the case of yachting among marine sports, a number of yacht experience programs have recently been operated centered on Gwanganli and Suyeong Bay in Busan. This yacht experience is an attractive tourism product that can be enjoyed casually, and can bring stress relief to many users. This study tried to verify the effect of the attractiveness of the yacht experience on the stress recovery based on the tourists' experiences using the yacht experience tour. In addition, we tried to verify the intention of revisiting the yacht experience or sharing it with others through SNS through this stress recovery. In addition, as a moderator variable, the difference between the MZ generation and other generations, which use SNS more actively than other generations, was presented and its significance was verified. The survey of this study was conducted online for tourists who experienced yacht experience in Busan. As a result of the analysis, among the attractive factors of the yacht experience, the program, landscape, facilities and service was found to have a significant influence on the users' stress recovery, and satisfaction through stress recovery had a significant effect on the intention to revisit and to share the SNS. In the verification of the moderating effect according to age, a generational difference in revisit intention between the MZ generation and other generations was confirmed. Through this study, it was suggested that various programs of yacht experience should be developed to induce users to revisit, and various marketing using SNS should be carried out.

  • The antiobesity effect of the mixture of black garlic and Garsinia cambogia extracts (BGG) was investigated by measuring the Oil red O staining and the expressions of adipogenic genes during preadipocyte differentiation by real-time PCR in the 3T3-L1 adipocytes. BGG reduced contents of Oil red O dye in the 3T3-L1 adipocytes. mRNA expression levels of SREBP1c, C/EBPa, aP2/FABP4, and $PPAR{\gamma}$ which are adipogenic transcription factor, in cells treated with BGG were also significantly down regulated. Also, the phosphorylation of AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) in L6 cells was more increased by BGG. These results indicate that BGG seems to be more attractive compound for application of industry than individual extracts such as black garlic and Garsinia cambogia, considering it has two effects not only inhibit the preadipocyte differentiation but also activate the phosphorylation of AMPK unlike other two compound.
