유치원(幼稚園)과 국민학교(國民學校) 저학년(低學年) 건축(建築)의 연계성(連繫性)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (A Study on the Linkage between the Kindergarten and The Lower Level Elementary School Buildings)

  • This study investigates possible of linkage between kindergarten infants and the lower level elementary school students so aims to take a triangular position which direction of architectural space plan. The results of the study are as follows: 1) The results of analysis which infants and lower level elementary school students' behavior and activity showed similar play patterns in space attitude, rule of space use, similar to satisfaction and kinds of play, the time required, groups scale and place of play. 2) Architectures of kindergarten and lower level elementary school can classify style of selfhelp-singleness, establishment as an annex-singleness, establishment as an annex-attachment and divides space of education, management, service and analogized kinds of necessary space. 3) Infants of four, five years old and six, seven years old(first, second elementary school students) are similar to physical, intellectual, emotional development and have special characters of successions so kindergarten and lower level elementary school buildings must be necessary for organic linkage and intergration.

자동차 배기계의 동특성 규명 및 행거 최적위치의 결정 (Dynamic characteristics indentification of automobile exhaust system and determination of hanger optimal position)

  • As automobile industry develope, design techniques to satisfy light weight and high efficiency in automobile parts is demanded. In this study modal analysis is performed using transfer matrix method to identify dynamic characteristics of exhaust system. It is estimated the theoretical transfer function by Pestel-Leckey method and the mode shapes in 3-D graphic. the validity of developed program is verified by comparing with the experimental results of exhaust system. Estimated modal parameters(natural frequency, vibrational mode, transfer function) are in accord with the experimental results. From the developed program, we can predict a location of the hanger which is determined by the lowest RMS value point, when displacement is given as an input at the engine side. We can find that attachment of spring modelled hanger at the hanger location bring vibration level down.

  • In this paper a design procedure via computer-aided molding simulation is presented to optimize the air-trap locations in a speaker encloser of mobile phone. The molding flow simulation reveals that the race-tracking phenomenon is the dominant feature in the current mold design. In obtaining an optimal filling pattern, the local modifications of the wall thickness such as in a flow leader attachment are considered as the primary control factor, and both the gate position and the filling time become the secondary control factor. In the one-at-a-time approach, the last location to be filled in the mold cavity could be successfully moved to the extremities of the part, allowing a natural ventilation of entrapped air through the mold parting plane.

  • The first patient of this case was 13 year and 8 month old girl who had the Angle's class I malocclusion with uneruption of upper left central incisor and left canine. The second patient was 12 year old boy who had the Angle's class I malocclusion with uneruption of right central incisor. After surgical exposure of impacted teeth of those patients and bonding of attachment on exposed crown, those teeth were orthodontically pulled with removable appliances. The results were obtained as follow. 1. The functionally proper occlusion was established by guidance of the impacted teeth into the normal position in the arch. 2. Establishment of esthetic and balanced arch form was achieved. 3. The possibility of restorative prosthetic treatment induced by extraction of impacted teeth was eliminated. 4. The psychologic relief of pubertal patient who was very sensitive to facial esthetics was gained.

  • The interactions between the excavation tool and the excavation environment are dynamic, unstructured and complex. In addition. operating modes of an excavator depend on working conditions, which makes it difficult to derive the exact mathematical model of excavator. Even after the exact mathematical model is established, it is difficult to design of a controller because the system equations are highly nonlinear and the state variable are coupled. The objective of this study is to design a fuzzy logic controller (FLC) which controls the position of excavator's attachment. This approach enables the transfer of human heuristics and expert knowledge to the controller. Expeiments are carried out to check the performance of the FLC.

Site-Specific Labeling of Proteins Using Unnatural Amino Acids

  • Labeling of a protein with a specific dye or tag at defined positions is a critical step in tracing the subtle behavior of the protein and assessing its cellular function. Over the last decade, many strategies have been developed to achieve selective labeling of proteins in living cells. In particular, the site-specific unnatural amino acid (UAA) incorporation technique has gained increasing attention since it enables attachment of various organic probes to a specific position of a protein in a more precise way. In this review, we describe how the UAA incorporation technique has expanded our ability to achieve site-specific labeling and visualization of target proteins for functional analyses in live cells.

폐종양의 위치에 따른 사이버나이프 기법의 선택에 관한 융합적 연구 (A Fusion Study on the Selection of Cyberknife Technique according to the Location of the Pulmonary Tumors)

  • 폐 종양의 위치에 따라 사이버나이프 치료 시 치료기법의 선택에 대해 고려해봐야 합니다. 폐암 환자 28명을 대상으로 18개 지점에 대해 4차원 단층촬영영상을 분석하였고, 응용프로그램을 통해 위치오차값을 추출하였다. 평가 결과 상부와 내측에서만 평균 위치오차값보다 낮았다. 이러한 결과를 통해 폐첨부에 가깝거나 척추체부에 가까운 경우 척추추적기법을 적용하는 것이 효율적이며, 이외의 위치에서는 호흡동조기법이 효율적이다. 이에 본연구를 기반으로 하여 향후 폐종양의 폐내 종양의 위치뿐만 아니라 폐활량에 따른 확장범위 및 환자마다 차이가 발생하는 호흡주기에 따라 사이버나이프 치료기법을 선택할 경우 효율적인 치료기법을 선택할 수 있도록 연구하고자 한다.

크로마키를 이용한 증강현실 영상출력 연구 (A Study on the Augmented Reality Display for Educating Power Tiller Operator using Chroma-key)

  • 경운기 시뮬레이터 운전자가 가상환경에서 교육에 몰입할 수 있도록 현실세계에 가상 물체를 겹쳐 보여주는 증강 현실 기술을 구현하였다. 3D 카메라 입력 장치로부터 초당 30 frame 이상 속도로 경운기 모의 운전 장치의 영상을 획득한다. 획득된 현실 영상을 크로마키 처리하여 가상 현실과 결합하였다. RGB 영상의 HSI 변환 실험결과 색상 최대값 0.52, 최소값 0.153, 채도 최대값 0.57, 최소값 0.16, 명도 최대값 1, 최소값 0.12이 크로마키 처리를 위해 최적값이었다. 본 연구에서는 키패드를 이용하여 크로마키 처리된 현실 영상의 위치를 전 후 상 하 좌 우를 버튼으로 조정하여 초기 결합위치를 조정할 수 있고 최종 조정된 값은 저장하여 유지 관리되도록 하였다. 이를 토대로 초당 30프레임 이상의 속도로 가상현실과 크로마키 처리 영상을 결합한 증강현실 구현이 가능함을 보였다.

Oral Health Status of Deaf and Mute Children Attending Special School in Anand-Wan, Warora, India

  • Aim : This study was conducted to assess the oral health status of deaf and mute children attending special school. Materials and Methods : A cross-sectional descriptive survey was conducted among 137 deaf and mute children with ages ranging from 7 to 18 years. A total of 76 males (55.47%) with mean age of $14.2{\pm}4.5$ and 61 females (44.53%) with mean age of $13.8{\pm}4.2$ years and studying in a school for deaf and mute children in Warora were considered. Data were collected using a standard method recommended by WHO for the oral health survey in 1977. Oral health status was assessed using OHIS, Loe and Sinless, and CPI Index along with DMFT and DMFS Index. Gingival position was considered for measuring attachment loss. Statistical analysis was performed using the SPSS software package (version 17.0). Results : The mean DMFT was found to be $2.53{\pm}1.72$, and mean DMFS, $3.37{\pm}3.16$. The prevalence of dental caries was pegged at 35.32%, with mean OHIS score at $1.49{\pm}0.76$. Overall gingival index among deaf and mute children was $0.81{\pm}1.4$, whereas that for the upper arch and lower arch was $0.92{\pm}0.84$ and $1.19{\pm}0.95$, respectively. The mean score for the CPI Index among deaf and mute children was found to be $0.42{\pm}0.32$. Gingival clinical attachment loss was found to be $0.26{\pm}0.15mm$. Conclusion : These findings suggest that children with hearing disabilities can also have good oral hygiene comparable to normal individuals of the same age group. These results may be attributed to the fact that the study sample was taken from a single school of a private organization with a well-equipped dental setup.

스트레인게이지 타입 회전형 공구동력계 개발과 3축 정적 하중 검증 (Development of Strain-gauge-type Rotational Tool Dynamometer and Verification of 3-axis Static Load)

  • In this task, the tool dynamometer design and manufacture, and the Ansys S/W structural analysis program for tool attachment that satisfies the cutting force measurement requirements of the tool dynamometer system are used to determine the cutting force generated by metal cutting using 3-axis static structural analysis and the LabVIEW system. The cutting power in a cutting process using a milling tool for processing metals provides useful information for understanding the processing, optimization, tool status monitoring, and tool design. Thus, various methods of measuring cutting power have been proposed. The device consists of a strain-gauge-based sensor fitted to a new design force sensing element, which is then placed in a force reduction. The force-sensing element is designed as a symmetrical cross beam with four arms of a rectangular parallel line. Furthermore, data duplication is eliminated by the appropriate setting the strain gauge attachment position and the construction of a suitable Wheatstone full-bridge circuit. This device is intended for use with rotating spindles such as milling tools. Verification and machining tests were performed to determine the static and dynamic characteristics of the tool dynamometer. The verification tests were performed by analyzing the difference between strain data measured by weight and that derived by theoretical calculations. Processing test was performed by attaching a tool dynamometer to the MCT to analyze data generated by the measuring equipment during machining. To maintain high productivity and precision, the system monitors and suppresses process disturbances such as chatter vibration, imbalances, overload, collision, forced vibration due to tool failure, and excessive tool wear; additionally, a tool dynamometer with a high signal-to-noise ratio is provided.
