This study was made to analyze the housing adjustment patterns of Korean families through the Microsociological approach. General research model used in this study was similar to that used in the previous study (Hong. 1986. 1992. 1993. 1994), which is a modified version of housing adjustment theory developed by Morris and Winter(1978). In short this study was made to analize the housing adjustment pattern not in terms of external devision and uniformity but in terms of diversity and individuality of each family.

This thesis is concerned with a study of spatial characteristics of Korean traditional architecture in visual perception. This study, therefore has been made of principles of visual perception. range of visual perception in architectural environment, spatial characteristics of Korean traditional architecture, and example case studies are exhibited. The architectural compositional principles of parts selected in process of study could be selected to facilitate comparison with the perceptual psychology. The result of this study can be used to construct Korean architectural plans. elevations. form and spatial and order pertinent to human understandings and existances on the priority of wholeness and the relationship of parts to visual perception.

본 연구는 한국 경호경비학의 연구경향을 분석하기 위해 1997년부터 2007년까지 한국경호경비학회 학술지 "한국경호경비학회지"에 게재된 총 14권 225편의 논문을 대상으로 내용분석을 시도하였으며, 크게 세 가지 방향으로 구분하여 접근하였다. 첫째, 연구자의 특성별 경향(성별 분포, 학위별 분포, 소속기관과 지역별 분포, 논문편당 참여인원분포), 둘째, 연구영역별 연구경향(연구비 지원여부, 연구주제의 변화), 셋째, 연구방법별 연구경향(연도별 연구방법, 연구주제별 연구방법, 연도별 통계 분석 기법)으로 세분화하였다. 분석 결과, "한국경호경비학회지"의 연구는 타 분야에비해 상대적으로 미흡한 부분이 다소 있지만 다양한 분야에서의 연구 참여, 골고루 분포된 지역별 연구 참여, 다양한 분석방법의 시도 등으로 인해 날로 발전하고 있는 경향임을 발견할 수 있었다. 그러나 반면 성별과 소속기관 그리고 단독연구의 지나친 편중, 연구비 지원에 대한 취약성, 연구 분야의 편중 그리고 산업계와 엇갈리고 있는 연구방향 등은 보다 심화되고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 연구 방법에서는 문헌연구나 현상 기술적 사례분석과 같은 일반적인 연구에 국한되어 있어서 핵심결과 도출이 다소 미흡할 뿐만 아니라, 중복적이고 형식적인 제언 등에서 그치는 경향을 보였다. 따라서, 경호경비학이 지금보다 더 나은 발전을 거듭하기 위해서는 더욱 다양한 분야에서 연구에 참여할 수 있도록 장려하고, 산업계의 발전 방향과 흐름을 파악하기 위해서 한층 더 세련된 통계기법의 활용과 적절한 연구방법을 구사 하도록 하며, 동시에 연구자들의 지속적인 노력이 병행되어야 할 것이다.

Purpose: Using the association concept as a basis, businesses offer association cues-trademarks and logos, for example-to support consumers' associative memories. These stimuli can be connected to anything, including a product's unique personality or the advantages it offers the company that made it. The purpose of this study is to comprehend how hypermarkets' business affiliation, relationship commitment, and trust affect consumers' attitudes and behaviors. Data, methodology, and research design: Regression analysis was used in this study to confirm the relationship between the independent and dependent variables, as well as to forecast how the changes in the independent variable would affect the changes in the dependent variable. Results: These are the findings of the research. First, it was discovered that trust and relationship commitment were significantly impacted by the hypermarket product association, corporate management-related associations, and social responsibility associations. Second, it was discovered that both behavioral and attitudinal loyalty were impacted by hypermarkets' level of trust. Third, it was discovered that both behavioral and attitudinal loyalty were impacted by a hypermarket's relationship commitment. Conclusions: Corporate associations with the hypermarket play an important role in shaping and maintaining consumers' awareness of the company or brand. Since this is affected by various factors such quality of products and services, and corporate social activities, companies need to positively induce awareness of products or services.

The Association Rules is the most important method in technology of the data mining. This study aimed at examining the risk factors of smoking behavior among middle school students and preparing school-based smoking prevention program. This study surveyed at February 1995 from 892 students at 3 middle schools in Seoul. The major findings of this study are follows; The proportion of current smoker among students in this study was 3.8%, and the proportion of intentions to smoking was 8.4%. At demographic variables male, pocket money of month was significantly positive association with smoking behavior, but economic status and education status of father were significantly negative association with smoking behavior. Results indicated that social influence variables(peer influence), alcohol, and positive attitudes of smoking were significantly positive association with smoking behavior. So implications for smoking prevention programs may be more effective at risk populations than using general adolescent population. Also ‘School-based smoking prevention programs’ may be learning social pressure resistance skills and giving knowledge and information about negative attitudes about smoking.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to determine the rate of peer-reviewed publication of abstracts presented at the annual meetings of the Turkish Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (TAOMS) and to identify the time to publication, subspecialty, and study design. Materials and Methods: All abstracts accepted for presentation at a TAOMS meeting between 2007 and 2009 were identified from a book of abstracts and were searched for publication using PubMed and Google Scholar. The following variables were evaluated: publication rate, type of presentation (oral or poster), time to publication, subspecialty, study design, and name of the journal in which the article was published. Results: A total of 478 abstracts were presented at the TAOMS meetings between 2007 and 2009. Of these, 140 abstracts (29.3%) were subsequently published in peer-reviewed journals, including 38.2% of oral presentations and 26.6% of poster presentations. The mean time from presentation to publication was 22 months. Regarding publication fields, research and emerging technologies presentations had the highest publication rate (100%). With regard to study type, animal study (70.0%) and basic research (55.0%) had the highest publication rates. Conclusion: Only 29.3% of abstracts presented at the TAOMS meeting were subsequently published as full-text articles. This rate was found to be similar to the previously reported publication rates in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery.

This study is about the Korean Jockey's uniform, etc. and horse riding costume as the traditional riding culture grows. I studied informations from the Korea Racing Association's equestrian park, equine museum and Seoul Racecourse Trainers & Jockey's Association. The international regulations of riding costume are compared with Korean regulations, and I consulted some reference books, materials of sports wear and catalogues of some brands regarding horse equipment. The contents includes ; 1. Analysis of informations about horse racing 2. Study of racing, for detail comparative analysis on the following aspects ; -Symbolism, riding costume of jockey, that is, color·pattern·and some formal designs. 3. Suggestion for reasonable and fashionable riding costumes. In the aspects of design, there have not been any historical records, and material adjustments about riding costume in Korea. Therefore we should make more efforts to do developing our traditional costume culture. The result o this study is as follows ; 1. Riding is the sport of etiquette and manners. 2. Most of riding wears are the casual wear centered foreign licenced brands. 3. Study and investment upon specialized material development and processing technology are in demand 4. The need of the consumers are to be satisfied by the quality improvement of the native products design. In addition, we perform to horse racing which is fine play and leisure sports in current society. The horse riding will be a popular sports such as golf, wind surfing, skiing, etc. with the period including lots of kinds of leisure.

Objective: Genome wide association study was conducted to identify and validate candidate genes associated with fatty acid composition of pork. Methods: A total of 480 purebreed Duroc pigs were genotyped using IlluminaPorcine60k bead chips while the association test was implemented following genome-wide rapid association using Mixed Model and Regression-Genomic Control (GRAMMAR-GC) approach. Results: A total of 25, 29, and 16 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) were significantly associated with stearic (18:0), oleic (18:1) and saturated fatty acids (SFA), respectively. Genome wide significant variants were located on the same region of swine chromosome 14 (SSC14) that spanned from 120 to 124 Mb. Top SNP ALGA008191 was located at 5 kb near the stearoyl-CoA desaturase (SCD) gene. This gene is directly involved in desaturation of stearic acid into oleic acid. General relationship of significant SNPs showed high linkage disequilibrium thus genome-wide signals was attributed to SCD gene. However, understanding the role of other genes like elongation of very long chain fatty acids-3 (ELOVL3) located on this chromosomal segment might help in further understanding of metabolism and biosynthesis of fatty acids. Conclusion: Overall, this study provides evidence that validates SCD gene as strong candidate gene associated with fatty acid composition in Duroc pigs. Moreover, this study confirms significant SNPs near ELOVL3 gene.

Recently, as korean eating habits have been westernized, the incidence of large intestinal disease, which has been recognized as western diseases until now, has been increasing. This study was conducted to find the association of fiber intake and large bowel function. This was a cross-sectional survey, the data were obtained by self-administering questionnaire and study population was adults aged more than 18 years old in Seoul(N=1200). The response rate was 81.8%. The results were summarized as followed: 1) The factors associated with bowel function was sex, habits of defecation such as regularity and frequencies of defecation, fecal form, gastrointestinal diseases, psychological scores, self-assessment of physical status, exercise and alcohol drinking. 2) The association between the amount of fiber intake and bowel function was significant. This association was still significant, when the confounders such as disease of upper digestive system and alcohol drinking were controlled.
