  • A criticism model for dress was developed to offer a methodological insight into research on aesthetics of dress. Concepts from Edmund B. Feldman's art criticism model, James D. Carney's style-relative model of art criticism, and Sung Bok Kim's fashion criticism model were borrowed and integrated to create a criticism model for dress, comprising identification of styles, descriptive features, aesthetic value features, external interpretation, socio-cultural interpretation, and evaluation. Both inductive and deductive approaches for the identification of styles can be made in the process of dress criticism. In the former case, descriptive features and aesthetic features are sequentially identified to locate the styles of dress. In the latter case, styles are identified first, and descriptive features and aesthetic features are identified accordingly. Logical criticisms can be made based on the critics' background knowledge of the history of dress and art.

  • Although, recently, studies on Internet banking users' behavior have been frequently found in some academic journals, most of them have ignored security anxiety which may be considered as important factors influencing usages of Internet banking. We propose an research model for Internet banking users which is an extended version of the Technology Acceptance Model(TAM) by adding new variable, security anxiety. For empirical support of our model, we survey for 298 samples and analyze it by structured equation model(SEM). In result, our proposed model is proved as a valid one in which all hypotheses except one are accepted and the values of model fitness are relatively high.

  • This study developed a model economic education program for young children related to Korean seasonal customs. The model was developed via literature reviews and survey research concerning teachers’' recognition of ‘'early childhood economic education’', consultations with professionals in the field, and testing and modifying the program. The goals of the model program were: teaching children to understand basic economic concepts, helping children to develop an economic attitude that emphasizes interdependence, and acknowledging the importance of eco-friendly economic values. The model includes three educational areas and 21 content areas including understanding the concept of exchange, sharing and cooperation, and circulation with nature. This study also developed 37 early childhood economic education activities using the teaching and learning methods of experiencing nature, virtual experience, real life experience, and traditional games experience.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze science teaching models: Cognitive Conflict Teaching Model(CCTM), Generative Learning Model(GLM), Learning Cycle Model(LCM), Hypothesis-Testing Model(HTM), and Discovery Teaching Model(DTM). Using literature review, the models were analyzed and compared in several aspects; philosophical and psychological bases, primary goals and assumptions, syntax, implementation environments, and probable effects. The major finding were as follows; 1. Science teaching models had been diverse features. In the comparisons of science teaching models, some differences and similarities were founded. These were different in the degree of similarity and emphasis. 2. CCTM and GLM resemble each other in philosophical and psychological bases, primary goals and main assumptions, implementation environments, and probable effects. 3. LCM and HTM showed similarities in philosophical bases, syntax, and implementation environments. But differences were founded in other aspects These results showed that the diverse features of science teaching models should be considered in choosing a model for science teaching.

  • The Reynolds strss equation with turbulent energy-length scales was simplified in the nearly homogeneous turbulent equilibrium flow and a modified Reynolds stress model was proposed. Tn the model proposed in the present study, Reynolds stresses can be expressed in the form of algebraic equation, so that the turbulent stresses and related quantities are calculated through relatively simple procedures. The model predicted well the turbulent shear stresses of homogeneous flow in local equilibrium state obtained from experimental results published earlier Constants used In the model was determined universally and its validity was discussed briefly.

  • A new numerical model was doveloped to simulate density-dependent ground water flow and solute transport. Accuracy of a numerical model depends upon how well it simulates advection dominant situations because numerical oscillations can spoil solutions for these situations. Nonlinear oscillation-absorption finite element method. based on the variational principle, was employed. Unlike previous numerical models, this model can easily be expanded for more complex situations. Accuracy of the model is evaluated by comparing with analytical solutions and results of other numerical model.

  • A storm-induced coastal inundation model (SICIM) is presented to simulate the flood event during typhoon passage that often results in significant rise in sea-level heights especially in the upstream region of the basin. The SICIM is a GIS-based distributed hydrodynamic model, both storm surge and storm water inundations are taken into account. The spatial and temporal distribution of the storm water level and flux are calculated. The model was applied to Jeju Island since it has an isolated watershed that is easy to handle as a first step of model application. Another reason is that it is surrounded by coastal area exposed to storm surge inundation. The model is still advancing and will be the framework of a predictive early inundation warning system.

  • The parameters in the Horton's model which has well known as typical infiltration model were determined by the use of the optimization technique. It was assumed the initial infiltration capacity in this model was related to the antecedent precipitation per 10 days with linear combination. And both the parameters of the ultimate infiltration capacity and the decay factor were determined uniquely on a basin. Thus the optimal model's parameters representative to a basin were obtained and the Horton's infiltration equations by rainstorm events were determined. The data of ten rainstorm events for this study were observed at the Jeonjeokbigyo station located at the Selmacheon experimental basin that was $8.5\;km^2$ wide in the Imjin river.

  • In this work we developed the closed-loop model of a paper machine during grade change with the intention to provide a reliable dynamic model to be used in the model-based grade change control scheme. During the grade change, chemical and physical characteristics of paper process change with time. It is very difficult to represent these characteristics on-line by using physical process models. In this work, the wet circulation part and the drying section were considered as a single process and closed-loop identification technique was used to develop the grade change model. Comparison of the results of numerical simulations with mill operation data demonstrates the effectiveness of the model identified.

  • Recently, most of the public institutions are developing ITA(Information Technology Architecture) & BSC (Balance ScoreCard) system. ITA's reference model is provided for the consistency, reusability, and interoperability. By the way, PRM(Performance Reference Model), one of the ITA reference models, is needed to link with BSC system. In this paper, we provide the linking method of ITA and BSC.
