  • The purpose of this study is to find through the algorithm of traditional region theory how nature has been recognized and occupied and harmoniously used by human beings. As seen Korean traditional villages, the natural elements such as mountains and streams in Yongdam are more remarkable than the artificial elements. The people in the village regards a radius of 4-12 km as their territory and an ideal space harmonized with natural landscape. The landscape structure of Yongdam shows traditional fengshui form and has a all the characteristics that Korean rural villages have. The landscape elements, such as mountains, rivers, plains, trees, soil color, etc. characterize Yongdam village and make the landscape of Yongdam a unique place. Traditional region theory is to study an emotional reaction to the quality of life, and landscape of a settlement. And it should be a basic theory to understand the whole landscape.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze environmental-friendly design features in landscape architecture. The process of the study first started theoretical research of 'Environmental-friendly' and 'Landscape', then extracted primary conceptual elements that based on ecological background, and analyze 20 cases, from 1990 to now, based on elements that extracted. Summarizing about environment-friendly feature in landscape architecture of Form, Space, Energy Management is as following. First, In the formal aspect, Landscape architecture tend to harmonize with surrounding environment through horizontal, vertical continuity that is realized to transform artificial plate. Second, In the spatial aspect, Landscape architectural space has flexible feature. It is expression through methods blur boundary between outside and inside, lead to change and experience by time, indeterminacy of program. Third, In the energy management aspect, the introduction of effective energy system increase environmental features in space through technical application and environmental-friendly materials.

  • The survey site, the Hyundai Apartment Complex in the Bundang Model Complex, includes three housing layout types; super high-rise, high-rise and low-rise apartment buildings. The site includes artificial ground over underground parking lots. The overall objective of this study is to evaluate social and physical factors of housing environments in each types of layout. The data has been complied from residents of apartment through questionnaire. The questionnaire include elements of neighborhood, outdoor space, parking zones, and the overall complex design in each layout types. The predictors of outdoor space satisfaction in apartment housing complex are found as follows: "abundance of trees in quantity", "the role as front yards", "harmony of buildings with landscape", "the more distance between buildings" and "maintenance quality of site". Layout of super high-rise apartment site is most satisfied. Introduction of car-free deck space is favored by resident because of safty and quiet resting area. However the low quality of green and lack of shades on the artificial land are identified as problems.on the artificial land are identified as problems.

전문가 델파이 설문 조사를 통한 농촌경관 유형분류 및 평가지표 개발 (Classifying Rural Landscape Types and Developing Rural Landscape Evaluation Indicators Using Expert Delphi Survey Method)

  • This study has intended to elicit the definition of rural landscape, to classify rural landscape type, and to develop the evaluation indicators of rural landscape, meeting the definition through delphi expert survey method. The survey was performed five times for 80 days by 20 experts. The delphi expert survey asked experts as follows: 1) to fill out open-ended questions regarding the definition of rural landscape, and classification of rural landscape types, and evaluation indicators; 2) to provide their own feasibility evaluation regarding the results of the previous answer; and 3) to reevaluate the feasibility of the definition, types, and indicators. Based on the survey results, this study has found the appropriate definition of rural landscape like the comprehensive complex of physical (objective) and nonphysical (subjective) factors characterizing natural and/or artificial scenary of rural village itself Also, this study has developed the evaluation indicators of rural landscape in accordance with space types and landscape units classified. The developed indicators included areal ratio, the degree of green naturality, the building coverage ratio for physical landscape field, and skyline, landscape adjectives, color landscape, semantic scale.

인공광의 광원에 따른 실내 지피식물의 생육반응 (A Growth Responses of Indoor Ground Cover Plants according to a Light Source of Aritificial Light)

  • This study was carried out to obtain fundamental information of growth response of ground cover plants under artificial light quality at indoor. Aglaonema 'Silver Queen', Hedera helix L., Hoya carnosa 'Tricolor' and Saintpaulia ionantha 'Frances' were examined under a 400lux light intensity consisted of Mercury lamp, True-lite lamp, incandescent lamp, dark-room and sunlight indoor condition. A data analysis were performed by GLM, Duncan's multiple range test and mean score with SAS program. Results of experiments are as follows; 1. A plant growth status was better showed under the True-lite lamp than sunlight. 2. A Saintpaulia ionantha flower color was responded in the first place, the deep pinkish red color of Saintpaulia ionantha flower was obtained under Mercury lamp and "True-lite lamp", "sunlight", and incandescent lamp were follow. Flower numbers of Saintpaulia ionantha after 60 days tended to decrease under every artificial light quality. 3. Leaf length and leaf width were increased under True-lite lamp, but most of plants was not significantly affected by artificial light quality. 4. A stem length of Hedera helix was increased the highest rank under sunlight also, one of artificial light, the highest increase rank was showed under incandescent lamp. 5. Chlorophyll content was highly increased under Mercury lamp, but was responded poor under incandescent lamp.

한국 전통 석가산에 표상된 함의성 (The Implications Representated in Korea's Traditional Sokgasan)

  • 한국의 전통 석가산(石假山)은 고려시대 창안되어 조선시대로 계승된 우리의 우수한 석정문화(石庭文化)이다. 이 연구는 고려시대와 조선시대 석가산 문화가 시대 흐름에 따라 석가산 내면에 어떠한 함의성(含意性)을 표상하며 계승되어 왔는지를 분석하였다. 고려시대 산악형 풍경을 모사해 창안한 한국의 전통 석가산은 괴석을 소재로 진산(眞山)을 모사한 작은 인공가산(人工假山)을 만들었다. 그리고 산수풍경을 축경적(縮景的)으로 재현하고 심산유곡의 흥취를 집안에서 와유(臥遊)하며, 풍류를 즐기는 동시에 정서적 안정과 치유라는 실용적 측면의 경물(景物)로서의 심미적 풍경의 산수체험을 석가산을 통해 경험하였다. 이러한 석가산은 내향적으로는 경물 자체의 형식미를 초월하며 불로장생을 염원하는 삼신산(영주, 봉래, 방장)과 도교적 신선사상이 응축된 오악(숭산, 태산, 화산, 항산, 형산)을 표상하며, 신선계(神仙界)를 이상향적으로 나타내고자 하였다. 또한 석가산을 대하며 유교의 요산요수(樂山樂水)의 교훈을 실천해 심성을 가다듬고, 중국의 명산명호(名山名湖)를 모방하는 등 석가산 내면에 다양한 함의성을 포용하며 변천, 발달하였다. 한국의 전통 석가산은 심미적 풍경의 산수체험은 물론 실용적 경물로서의 형식미를 초월하며, 석가산의 심오한 상징적 함의성을 표상하여 무한한 상상의 관념적 공간으로 승화시켰다.

인공지반의 설계하중 산정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design Load of Artificial Soil Ground)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 녹화를 위한 인공지반이 구조물에 미치는 영향을 분석하는 것이다. 인공지반 녹화 시 고려해야 할 기술적 사항은 건물에 미치는 하중과 식물의 생육에 관한 것이다. 인공지반이 구조물에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구는 거의 이루어지지 않고 있다. 본 연구에서는 펄라이트와 자연토양이 혼합된 인공지반이 구조물에 미치는 하중으로 인한 영향을 분석하였다. 인공지반이 구조물에 미치는 하중은 인공지반이 포화되었을 때 최대가 되며, 강우강도가 인공지반의 침투능을 증가할 때 인공지반이 포화된다. 인공지반의 포화 여부를 판정하기 위하여 강우 강도는 도시배수시설물 설계에 이용되는 10년 빈도 10분 강우 강도를 이용하였고, 침투능은 정수위투수계수 측정법을 이용하여 산정하였다. 인공토 및 혼합토는 그 비율에 따라 투수계수가 변하며, 특히 다짐 정도에 따라 변동이 큰 것으로 나타났으나, 대부분의 경우 재현기간 10년의 10분 강우강도를 초과하지는 않았다. 따라서 인공지반의 포화단위중량을 구조물 설계의 설계하중으로 적용하여야 함을 알 수 있다.

모바일 애플리케이션을 활용한 시민참여 인공새집 모니터링 방안 연구 (A Monitoring for Citizen Participation in Artificial Nest Boxes Using Mobile Applications)

  • 박새는 도시생태계 내 환경변화를 측정할 수 있는 생물지표종이자 대표적인 식충성 조류로 건전성 유지와 같은 중요한 역할을 맡고 있다. 연구자들은 박새과 조류의 번식생태 파악을 위해 인공새집 조사방법을 활용하고 있으나, 공간적·시간적 한계로 거시적 관점의 연구를 진행하기에는 어려움이 있다. 본 연구는 전문가 중심으로 수행된 기존 인공새집 모니터링이 갖는 한계를 벗어나고자 시민참여 인공새집 모니터링 프로젝트를 설계하였다. '수원시 앞마당 조류 모니터링단'은 시민조사원들의 자발적인 참여를 통해 경기도 수원시 내 녹지공간에 인공새집을 설치하고 박새과 조류의 번식생태를 관찰하는 프로젝트이다. 2021년 2월 9일부터 2월 22일까지 온라인 설문조사를 통해 참가자를 모집하였고, 시민조사원은 2021년 2월 23일부터 8월 31일까지 인공새집 설치부터 관찰까지 직접 수행하였다. 비전문가인 시민조사원들의 진입장벽을 낮추고 일관된 데이터를 수집하기 위해 모니터링 과정 전반에 대한 온라인 교육을 수행하였고 모바일 애플리케이션을 이용하여 인공새집 관찰기록을 수집하였다. 시민참여 인공새집 모니터링 프로젝트에는 98명의 시민조사원이 참여하였고 배포된 206개의 인공새집 중 175(84.95%)개가 수원시 내 녹지공간에 설치되었다. 설치된 인공새집 중 위치 좌표 생성 오류가 발생한 2건을 제외한 173(83.98%)개를 대상으로 시민과학 프로젝트 결과를 확인했다. 시민조사원으로부터 수집한 인공새집 관찰기록은 총 987회이며, 최솟값은 1회, 최댓값은 26회, 평균은 5.71±4.37회로 나타났다. 월별 인공새집 관찰 횟수는 2월 70회(7.09%), 3월 444회(44.98%), 4월 284회(28.77%), 5월 133회(13.48%), 6월 46회(4.66%), 7월 6회(0.61%), 8월 4회(0.41%)로 조사되었다. 설치된 173개의 인공새집 중 57개(32.95%)에서 조류의 이용을 관찰할 수 있었고 박새 12개소(21.05%), 곤줄박이 7개소(12.28%), 미동정 조류 38개소(66.67%)로 확인되었다. 본 연구는 박새과 조류의 번식생태를 조사방법으로 활용되는 인공새집 모니터링에 시민의 참여 가능성을 처음으로 검토한 연구로 향후 시민과학을 접목한 생태모니터링 설계의 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

남산의 생태학적 진단 (Ecological Diagnosis on Mt. nam in Seoul, Korea)

  • The effects of artificial interference on the vegetation landscape in Mt. Nam of Seoul, Korea were clarified by analysing the distribution of vegetation landscape element and the number and size of patch depicted as a vegetation map in terms of landscape ecological principles. The effects of artificial interference on vegetation were also confirmed from the environmental gradient analysis on plant community extended from the lowland to the peak of that mountain. Vegetation landscape elements were divided into plantation and secondary forest in actual vegtation map. The ratio of plantation to secondary forest was higher in the lowland below mid-slope and the southern slope. Most afforested land were occupied by Robinia pseudoacacia and Populus tomentoglandulosa, Pinus rigida, P. koraiensis, Metasequoia glyptostroboides, Alnus hirsuta and so on are localy planted. In addition, projects to replace those afforested trees by P. densiflora as a kind of campaign for "Restoration of the one original feature of Mt. Nam" or to replace those tree species by planting young Abies holophylla or P. koraiensis under the mature afforested trees are also carried out in recent years. In cases of secondary forest, the southern slope was dominated by P. densiflora and the northern one by Q. mongolica. But the lowland of the northern slope is dominated by P. densiflora as the same as that in the southern slope. Vegetation landscape elements in Mt. Nam were much simplified comparing with that of suburban area around Seoul. The number of patches, which reflects the degree of diverse artificial interference was more in the lower area than in the upper area and more in the southern slope than in the northern one. On the other hand, the size of patch showed the antagonistic tendency to that of the number of patch. As a result of environmental gradient analysis, vegetation distribution in Mt. Nam was different from that in suburban area around Seoul. For example, Alnus japonica community, Zelkova serrata community, and Carpinus laxiflora community, which is established in mountain comparatively rare in artificial interference disappeared in Mt. Nam. As a result of analysis on vegetational succession in P. densiflora community and Q. mongolica community, both communities showed a tendency of retrogressive succession differently from that in control site located in suburban area around Seoul. In addition, species composition of P. densiflora and Q. mongolica communities in Mt. Nam were also different from those in Mt. Surak located around Seoul. It was interpreted that those results were originated from the environmental pollution and excessive arti ficial interferences.rferences.
