  • This work shows that it is possible to obtain information about more than one parameter from acoustic field information. A variety of ultrasonic Lamb wave modes were utilized to reconstruct thickness and density of an isotropic plate. An image reconstruction of one parameter (thickness of a plate) was carried out for four cases, i.e., the lowest symmetrical and anti symmetrical modes, and the fastest symmetrical and anti symmetrical Lamb waves among multiple modes. For two parameter reconstructions (thickness and density), the image processing was performed using the lowest symmetrical and antisymmetrical modes simultaneously. In this work, a modified version of algebraic reconstruction technique (ART), which is a form of finite-series expansion method, was employed to reconstruct the ultrasonically computed tomographic images. Results from several sample geometries are presented.

  • Contemporary Architecture stands on the basis of the influence of the formative arts, and it carves out a new field of architecture through various technical or material expressions. Herzog & de Meuron, whose has been recognized internationally, are one of few artists following this Contemporary architectural flow. This thesis analyzed his work of art by the trend of times, and base on the results, tried to find his architectural language. Three points have been concluded through this architectural thesis. The architectural language does not deal with our monotonous environment, but deals with it technically. It's expressed all the architectural factors that we already know and used through new ways, so that, finally, it makes people feel the work of art in different point of views. I desire more future researches will focus on the many types of architectural and interior design languages that the Contemporary society craves.

  • Several scholars have discussed the relationship between fine art and fashion in meaning and expression. They have established that fashion and fine art are different branches from the same root, the Zeitgeist (time spirit), and that the Zeitgeist is materialized by various expres-sion techniques. The objective of this paper is to discuss how designers' interpretation of the Zeitgeist is expressed in their work, focusing on the 60's American society and designer Rudi Gernreich. The 60's were the period with revolutionary changes both in society itself and clothing. Rudi is the representative of the 60's designers who is called the most avant-garde and American household designer at the same time. Despite his prominent status as an avant-garde designer and social commentator, however, he has not been discussed in depth in the Korean clothing society. The consistent theme of his work was young and free spirit, and women's liberation which reflected the time he lived in. His successful interpretation of the Zeitgeist of the 60's made him establish the American-look, simple and free to move.

  • In order to convey exactly what a work is intended to project, it is necessary to select appropriate materials, those whose features are suitable for the work to be accomplished. Among the recent trends in dyeing involve the use of the designers' own techniques and a variety of materials, as well as the designers' efforts at promoting the value of plastic art. According I choose splendid butterfly patterns that diversity in shape and color, among nature patterns offer unlimited imaginative power. I designed the fabric pattern, using tie dyeing, cone dyeing, transfer dyeing and rub dyeing that can best express my intentions. Therefore a total of four works were designed with aesthetically appealing revised shapes of a butterfly, using materials developed using the same method, to suggest the possibility of creating a new design while maintaining the original beauty of plastic art.

  • The power source of inverter welder stable power of low voltage and high current. Because if shouldn't be, it is caused to spark between the parent metal and the peak. So that, we designed to be base on high frequency transformer and reactor of DC part. Then, we optimized control of PWM, current rising slant, voltage, current, pulse current and 인버터 out-put voltage. Also we designed PCB for EMI and noises.

  • This study focused on the spirit to becoming the true "I" as a human, and it attempted to pay attention to the "images" sent by the unconscious to prompt the reality of that spirit. The purpose of this study was to identify the symbols in myths and folk tales that appeared in the individual's dreams and to shed light on how the universal experiences of humankind are re-experienced and integrated into an individual's life. This study used a total of 105 mandala paintings collected through the researcher's own dreams from February 2019 to September 2020. Among them, repeated symbols were classified into basic shapes, squares, crosses, triangles, circles, and spirals, as suggested by Riedel. The study truthfully described the discovery of a practical layer of psychology as a human's individualization and changing, resulting in autoethnography, which is a type of qualitative study.

  • This paper focuses on the aesthetic ideology and aesthetic style embodied in the work of 'Blue is the Warmest Color' to dissect it and examine the identity and construction of identity as a minority group in a postmodern context. Blue is the Warmest Color is a film that focuses on homosexual emotions in adolescent development, showing the budding love and emotional orientation of a 15-year-old girl's adolescence, and the ecstsy and torment that comes with an awakened consciousness. The evolutionary process of the characters' emotional orientations is dissected, pointing out that the central theme of the film is the concern for fluid identity and self-identity. Through the narrative and the setting of the characters' emotional patterns and the "Body Writing" of women, this paper further examine the typical variability and fragmentation of postmodern identity, and interpret in detail the content, messages and effects of the characters' dialogues in the film to illustrate the way in which the work expresses class and identity differences. The research method is based on textual analysis and theoretical research.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a design as a high value-added exportable industrial product by developing a cultural product, that can be accepted as having universal beauty by people in the Western cultural area. This is done by, re-analyzing it from a modern perspective after applying the color representation, used in pop art, to Shin Saimdang's Chochungdo (草蟲圖, insects on flowers) which clearly expresses Korea's national emotion and aesthetic consciousness. The research method depends upon developing cultural products such as scarfs, neckties, handkerchiefs, and folding fans, which are communicated in the global market The expressive technique of pop art is utilized after reconstructing the color sensation of pop art in the aesthetic dimension of the natural, physical, and formative beauty of Chochungdo based on the whole understanding of our country's genre of Chochungdo and Western pop art. With regard to the colors in the developed design, the basic colors were extracted and applied by selecting 10 pieces in the flower series, which were made with the silkscreen printmaking technique in the 1970s by Andy Warhol, a master in pop art. A work that integrates pop art, a global art trend, with Korean traditional culture is expected to highlight Korean traditional culture in the global cultural era.

The highly developed material civilization resulted in human alienations environmental distruption. By this fact human being of the 20the century was to overcome social com-plexity. In this respect this research was focused that how the characteristics of the junk Art was expressed in the second half 20th century fashion. The concepts of the Junk Art lied in the creation of art work in the 2-dimentional plane of 3-dimentional space through the application of all junks (wood pieces industrial debris trash ready-made goods etc) cast by the mod-ern industrial society and the mass production system. Juck Art had been further envigorated in the footstep of the development of the collage method based on the creation of object aes-thetics. And junk artists have untitled social environments with art by assembling junks as a way of exploring the material world of cur-rent society and provided infinite possibilities of expressional medium and technique. Above all junk Art has been reflected in the fashion as well as other art. Especially a lot of the fashion design by the use of junks and the expressive image of junks is produced in the 20th century. That is many of fashion designers have always been aware of what is happening in the arts and have always been able to use the dis-coveries and ideas of the artist to help them solve design problems and creat fashion which are new inventive and reflective of their time. The fashion designers of the junk fashion design could be said to have presented much more possibilities and new development for-mulas to modern fashion design and provided a new order of other formative arts. Unlike the negative and destructive punk cyberpunk fashion junk fashion was a positive and optimistic aesthetics. junk fashion that keeps pace with science and the development of technology is devoted to trying to grasp the real form of ultimate re-ality.
