영상매체에 대한 중요성이 부각되면서 중학교 교육과정에서도 애니메이션 분야의 비중이 점차 커지고 있는 가운데, 교과서의 단원 구성과 오류를 조사하고 분석하는 것은 올바른 교육을 위해서 매우 중요한 일이다. 2001년도부터 출판되어 사용하고 있는 7차 교육과정의 중학교 검인정 미술교과서 7종 21권의 애니메이션 단원에 대한 구성 및 오류를 분석한 결과, 다음과 같은 문제점을 분석해낼 수 있었다. 우선, 애니메이션 단원에 대한 교과서 분량의 차이가 집필진에 따라 매우 큼을 알 수 있었다. 또한 실기내용은 대부분 초기의 실험영상기기의 제작에 머무르고 있었으며, 설명 및 용어, 그림에 대해서는 비효과적인 제작과정을 제시한다거나, 부정확한 개념과 용어를 사용하는 등의 오류가 있었다.

다문화 가구가 증가하는 한국의 상황에서 교육 전반에서 다문화 역량을 강화할 필요성이 제기되고 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 학교 현장에서 사용되고 있는 2015 개정 중학교 미술 교과서 7종을 선택하여 맥피(Macfee)가 제시한 다문화교육 관점에서 교과서의 참고도판과 내용의 비중을 분석하였다. 분석 결과 첫쨰, 지역별 다문화 참고 도판 비중은 한국 도판(44%)과 서양 도판(43%)의 비중이 높은 데에 비해 동양 도판(13%)의 비중은 매우 낮았다. 체험영역에서는 한국 도판보다 오히려 서양 도판이 13.8% 더 수록되었으며 서양 도판도 미국과 유럽 도판으로 편중되어 있었다. 둘째, 다문화 내용 비중을 분석한 결과 총 단원의 57.7% 즉 156개 중 90개 단원이 다문화 내용을 포함하고 있었다. 결과적으로 2009 개정 미술 교과서와 비교해서 2015 개정 중학교 미술 교과서의 다문화 비중은 확장되었다.

The authors have developed a reading & writing textbook for engineering students to improve their communication capability, and also analyzed the outcomes that the students accomplished through the Engineering Reading and Writing class. The reading & writing textbook has been organized to be used as a guidebook with which the engineering students can practically solve the problems that they would face continuously after they finish their regular curriculum and when they are employed. The questionnaire survey analysis has been performed in order to evaluate the textbook contents, lecturing, and learning outcomes for the lecturers and students finished the engineering reading and writing classes. Desirable evaluation has been resulted in the broad areas: subject extraction from the readings, logical understanding, summarizing, practical writing, writing principle, etc.

This paper is intended as an analysis of the Chapter on Family in textbooks of a Middle school course at the aspect of Parson's Structural Functionalism Theory. In this analysis, We'd like to explore how the value of family is expressed in the Art-Home Economics textbooks. Generally, family is a subsystem in the structural system of whole society and family has two main functions to promote stability and equilibrium from the Parson's Structural Functionalism Theory point of view. Today, the concern with the Structural Functionalism Theory is dominantly reflected in textbooks, even though it has been proposed that the Structural Functionalism is not appropriate to explain family of modem society. Like that, the question now arises: the family history and interaction is ignored in the Structural Functionalism Theory. That is to say, There are limitations of Structural Functionalism Theory. The textbooks of Art-Home Economics was based on the revised curriculum has been severely changed in terms of external system of textbooks. But, we didn't know how much the view of the Structural Functionalism Theory is involved in textbooks. In this article, we analyze the view of the Structural Functionalism Theory in the Art- Home Economics textbooks using the Contents Analysis. At the same time, we find the confusion of family value revealed in textbooks.

중국(中國)의 산경(算經)에서 제일(第一) 먼저 우리의 관심(關心)을 끄는 것은 구장산술(九章算術)이다. 그러나 이천삼백년(二千三百年) 전(前)부터 존재(存在)하였다고 추측(推測)할 뿐 편저자(編著者)나 제작년도(製作年度)는 미상(未詳)이다. 여기에 있는 문제(問題)들을 수학적(數學的)인 명(面)에서 검토(檢討)하여 보는 것도 바람직하지만 역사(歷史)나 사회적(社會的) 환경(環境)과 관련(聯關)시켜 분석(分析)하고 추론(推論)하여 구장산술(九章算術)의 구조(構造)를 밝혀낸다.

본 연구의 목적은 과학 교과서에 나타난 과학-예술통합 활동의 현황을 파악하고, 예술적 요소를 탐색하는 것이다. 이를 위해 2007 개정 교육과정 초등학교 과학 교과서에 나타난 과학-예술통합 활동을 선정하고, 이를 예술 활동의 형태, 기능, 역할에 따라 분석하였다. 또한 Baron과 Eisner(1997)의 디자인 요소를 바탕으로 예술적 요소 분석틀을 개발하여 과학-예술통합 활동에 포함된 예술적 요소를 분석하였다. 연구결과, 교과서에 제시된 과학-예술통합 활동에 사용된 예술 형태로는 미술이 가장 많았고, 두 가지 형태를 가진 혼합형, 언어 등이 많이 나타났다. 예술 활동의 기능 측면에서는 학생들에게 직접적으로 예술 활동을 요구하는 직접적 기능이 많은 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 예술 활동의 역할에 관련해서는 응용 및 적용이 가장 높게 나타났으며, 동기 유발과 개념 이해가 같은 비율로 나타났다. 예술적 요소 분석 결과에서는 공감의 증진 요소가 가장 많이 나타나고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 분석 결과를 바탕으로 미술 형태 위주의 과학-예술통합 활동뿐 아니라 음악, 무용 등 다양한 예술형태를 사용하는 것이 필요하다고 여겨지며, 예술 활동의 역할측면에서도 동기 유발, 개념 이해도 강조해야 할 것이다. 또한 다양한 예술적 요소를 고려한 과학-예술통합 활동의 개발이 이루어질 필요가 있다.

The purpose of the study were to analyze MathThematics textbooks and Korean middle school mathematics and to investigate the difference among the textbooks in the view of mathematical communication. According to the results, the textbook developers made a variety of efforts to develope students' mathematical communication ability. Students were encouraged to communicate with others about their mathematical ideas or problem solving processes in words or writing by means of discussion, oral report, presentation, journal, etc. MathThematics textbooks provided student self-assessment opportunity to improve student performance in problem solving, reasoning, and communication. In communication assessment, students can assess their use of mathematical vocabulary, notation, and symbols, the use of graphs, tables, models, diagrams and equation to solve problem and their presentation skills. The assessment activities would make a positive impact on the development of students' mathematical communication ability. MathThematics textbooks provided a variety of problem situation including history, science, sports, culture, art, and real world as a topic for communication, however, the researcher found that some of Korean textbooks depends heavily on mathematical problem situations.

그동안 예술활동과 과학교육을 통합하는 연구는 학생들의 예술교육에 직접적으로 관여하는 유아교육과 초등교육분야에서는 꾸준히 진행되어 왔다. 그러나 일부 과학교육자들은 STEAM 교육을 통해 디자인의 원리를 이용하여 산출물을 시각화하거나 실험결과를 표현하는데 주된 관심을 보였다. 이에 미술활동이 과학교육과 통합된 수업을 실시할 때, 학생들의 능력 변화에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 그래서 이 연구의 목적을 미술활동과 연계한 과학실험활동이 초등학생들의 자기주도학습능력과 창의적 성격에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것으로 하였다. 이 연구는 창원에 있는 C초등학교 4학년 30명(남 16, 여 14)을 대상으로 하였다. 수업자료는 2007 개정 교육과정 초등과학교과서와 '신나는 과학을 만드는 사람들' 실험자료집에서 추출되었다. 수업처치는 5가지 주제에 대해 10차시로 진행되었으며, 사전-사후검사로 G-TAGAS가 실시되었다. 그 결과 미술활동과 연계한 과학실험활동은 자기주도학습능력과 창의적 성격에서 유의미한 향상이 있었다.

동아시아 수학사에서 가장 중요하고 기초적인 문헌은 <구장산술九章算術>이다. 이 책은 오랜 세월 동안 여러 주석가들에 의해 보완되고 재해석되며 광범위한 영향력을 미쳤다. 우리나라 역시 이 영향권 안에서 삼국시대 이래로 <구장산술>을 기본 산학서로 취급해 왔고 19세기 조선 수학자 남병길은 이 책에 대한 주석서 <구장술해九章術解>를 출판했다. 본 연구에서는 이 두 책의 구성과 내용을 확인하고 그것의 교육적 활용 가능성에 대해 모색해본다.
