A Study on the AR Identification of unknown system using Cumulant (Cumulant를 이용한 미지 시스템의 AR 식별에 관한 연구)

  • This paper deals with the AR Identification of unknown system using cumulant, which is the 3rd order statistics of output signal in the presence of the noise signal. The algorithms for identification of unknown system we applies to the AR identification method using the cumulant which is possible to the guarantees of global convergence and the representation of amplitude and phase information of system among with the method of parametric modeling. In the process of identification, we considered unknown system to the one of AR system. After the generation of input signal, it was being passed through the system then We use the its output signal that the noise is added. As a result of identification of AR system by changing the signal to noise ratio, we get the fairly good results compared to original system output values and confirmed that the pole was located in the unit circle of z transform.

  • In this paper, we propose mobile Augmented Reality(AR) for smart learning system which is advanced e-learning. AR is technology that seamlessly overlays computer graphics on the real world. AR has become widely available because of mobile AR. Mobile AR is possible to get information from real world anytime, anywhere. Nowadays, there are various areas using AR such as entertainment, marketing, location-based AR. One of the most promising areas is education. AR in education shows lifelike images to users for realism. It's a good way for improving concentration and attention. We utilize only a camera for image-based AR without other sensor.

Ar Addition Effects in $Cl_2$ Plasma on Etching Properties for BLT Thin Film ($Cl_2$ 플라즈마를 이용한 BLT 박막 식각 특성에 대한 Ar 첨가효과)

  • $Cl_2$ 플라즈마를 이용한 BLT 박막의 식각에서 Ar 가스의 첨가에 따른 식각 속도, 선택비 및 식각 형상의 변화에 대하여 관찰하였다. BLT 박막의 식각 속도는 100% Ar 플라즈마에서 100 % $Cl_2$ 플라즈마에서의 식각 속도보다 약 1.5배정도 빨랐으며, 80% Ar/20% $Cl_2$ 조건에서 $503{\AA}/min$ 최대 식각의 최대 시각 속도를 얻었다. RF 전력과 직류 바이어스 전압을 증가함에 따라 식각 속도는 증가하였으며, $Ar/Cl_2$ 플라즈마의 식각 속도가 $Cl_2$ 플라즈마의 식각 속도 보다 높았다. 식각 공정 변수의 변화에 의한 플라즈마 변수가 BLT 식각 속도에 미치는 영향을 관찰하기 위하여 LP(Lanmuir porbe)와 OES(optical emission spectroscopy)분석을 수행하였다. Ar 첨가량이 증감함에 따라 LP 분석에서 전자의 온도는 증가하였으나 전자밀도는 감소하였다. 이는 Ar의 이온화 준위가 Cl 보다 높기 때문에 이온화 윷이 낮아지기 때문으로 판단된다, 또한, OES 분석에서 Ar 첨가량이 증가함에 따라 Cl 원자의 부피 밀도는 감소하였다. Ar 첨가에 의한 BLT 박막의 식각 속도의 변화와 LP 및 OES 분석을 고려하면, BLT 박막은 화학적 식각의 도움을 받는 무리적 식각에 의하여 식각됨을 확인하였다,

Effects of Oxidative Stress on the Expression of Aldose Reductase in Vascular Smooth Muscle Cells

  • Oxidative stress and methylglyoxal (MG), a reactive dicarbonyl metabolites produced by enzymatic and non-enzymatic reaction of normal metabolism, induced aldose reductase (AR) expression in rat aortic smooth muscle cells (SMC). AR expression was induced in a time-dependent manner and reached at a maximum of 4.5-fold in 12 h of MG treatment. This effect of MG was completely abolished by cyclohemide and actinomycin D treatment suggesting AR was synthesized by de novo pathway. Pretreatment of the SMC with N-acetyl-L-cysteine significantly down-regulated the MG-induced AR mRNA. Furthermore, DL-Buthionine-(S,R)-sulfoximine, a reagent which depletes intracellular glutathione levels, increased the levels of MG-induced AR mRNA. These results indicated that MG induces AR mRNA by increasing the intracellular peroxide levels. Aminoguanidine, a scanvenger of dicarbonyl, significantly down-regulated the MG-induced AR mRNA. In addition, the inhibition of AR activities with statil, an AR inhibitor, enhanced the cytotoxic effect of MG on SMC under normal glucose, suggesting a protective role of AR against MG-induced cell damages. These results imply that the induction of AR by MG may contribute to an important cellular detoxification of reactive aldehyde compounds generated under oxidative stress in extrahepatic tissues.

  • New Fabrication Facility (FAB) construction is performed with Building Information Modeling (BIM) based design. The BIM design data keep updated during the FAB construction. To improve fast-track construction management, a Fabrication Facility Augmented Reality (FABAR) was developed. This study introduces a FABAR system development process and shows performance evaluation results of the FABAR prototype system. The FABAR is implemented with three major modules: Augmented Reality (AR) visualization unit (Room-box) to transfer big BIM data to AR data, AR registration and tracking unit to match AR with real scape and to keep AR coordination in real, and AR data management unit to enhance usability. The prototype performance results were as follows: visualization of design BIM data via AR within 24 hours, precise AR registration and tracking registration, and appropriate usability to support FAB construction management at site. The results indicate that the FABAR is applicable for FAB construction management. Especially, the BIM data transformation method using Room-box in this study signifies a new construction management approach using fluctuating BIM design data in the fast track construction condition.

A study on e-leisure mobile AR in outdoor environments (실외환경에서의 e-레저 모바일 AR에 대한 연구)

  • Recently, new content for e-leisure, including e-sports and e-games, has become necessary. To meet this requirement, e-leisure mobile AR studies which track human are underway. The tracking performance at long distances is important because e-leisure mobile AR is used in outdoor environments. However, conventional mobile AR applications such as SNOW and Snapchat have the disadvantage of low tracking performance at long distances. Therefore, we propose an e-leisure mobile AR in outdoor environments. The proposed e-leisure mobile AR can estimate the position of the head in outdoor environments at long distances by using color markers and the human body ratio, and then augment a virtual object at the estimated position. The performance of the proposed e-leisure mobile AR was evaluated by measuring the tracking performance and processing time.

  • Recently, many ICT companies are trying to expand the ecosystem of VR (Virtual Reality) and AR (Augmented Reality). They are developing a variety of industries such as entertainment, education, e-commerce and so on. There is also contains the power, energy field. And application related with VR/AR will increase in power industry. Thus, Platform is necessary because there are problems such as re-use, interface with legacy system and security. We can expect the convenience and efficiency by developing VR/AR power platform. In this paper, we will discuss the trends of VR/AR technologies, possibilities of VR/AR in energy field, essential elements of VR/AR power platform. In the future, we expect to lead standards of VR/AR in energy and to develop a killer application such as Pokemon GO.

$^{40}Ar-^{39}39/Ar$ Biotite and Plagioclase Ages of the Gneeisses from Gyeonggi Massif (경기육괴 편마암의 흑운모와 사장석 $^{40}Ar-^{39}39/Ar$ 연대)

  • $^{40}Ar-^{39}39/Ar$ ages were determined from the biotites and plagioclases separated from the Precambrian gneisses of Gyeonggi Massif. Biotites yield $1,294{\pm}46,\;1,241{\pm}39\;and\;1,217{\pm}39Ma(2{\sigma}\;errors)$, and plagioclases yield $934{\pm}25,\;872{\pm}19,\;819{\pm}15(2{\sigma})Ma$. These ages are significantly different from the U-Pb zircon ages obtained from the identical samples ($1,613{\pm}51~2,168{\pm}24Ma(2{\sigma})$, Song et al., 2001). The ages of biotites and plagioclases can be interpreted to represent independent regional thermal events. The Mesoproterozoic ages recorded by the biotites can be interpreted as a consequence of regional metamorphism followed by differential uplift. We propose that plagioclases record Neoproterozoic ages which are related with igneous activities under the regional extensional regime, related with the breakup of the supercontinent Rodinia existed at that time.

Simultaneous Determiniation of Ar/$N_2$Ratios in Groundwater (지하수에 용해된 질소, 아르곤 가스의 동시측정)

  • Previously reported Ar/N$_2$ratios in groundwater have been measured by single ion monitoring (Barnes et al., 1975; Vogel et al., 1981; Mariotti et al., 1988). The detector geometry and flared flight tube in VG Optima isotopic ratio mass spectrometer appeared to be fortuitously aligned for the simultaneous measurement of Ar/N$_2$ratios. Method development included mechanical adjustments to optimize the mass spectrometer for Ar/N$_2$ratio measurements followed by development of a preparation system for the extraction of air-saturated water samples. Samples containing known Ar/N$_2$ratios were used to assess accuracy and precision, and to test the applicability of methods for measurements of aqueous Ar/N$_2$ratios. The results indicated that the prepared air-saturated water samples were almost identical to the predicted Ar/N$_2$ratios (p <0.001). Groundwater samples were collected from on-going research sites, Shelton and Grand Island, Nebraska. Samples from the Grand Island sludge injection site form a lower boundary for worldwide reported Ar/N$_2$ratios. These lower Ar/N$_2$ratios can be explained by the production of nitrogen gas from this site, where denitrification was reported previously.

Therefore, the proposed GPS-based Augmented Reality System for Social Network, automatically searches for the optimal speed for Wifi and 4G network to iOS Hand AR system was desired in future.
