According to Edwin Gordon(1987, 1997, 2003), music aptitude is a product of interaction of innate potential and early environmental experiences. He referred to music aptitude of children up to nine years of age as developmental music aptitude which fluctuates due to musical environment. Music aptitude stabilizes at age nine, and the music aptitude after age nine is called "stabilized music aptitude". This research is to examine Gorden's hypothesis that the younger a child receives music education, the higher music aptitude. Also, this research is to experiment the effect of Audiation activities developed in Audie Music Curriculum on music aptitude. The researcher and another Audie teacher as a co-teacher guided children together for 30 minutes once a week. The pedagogy guidelines for informal guidance in music learning theory were kept throughout the classes. Also, Audie's teaching method which had been developed for Korean Kindergarten educational environment was also applied. Five-year-old subjects in Experimental group 1 experienced the Audie Music Curriculum of one year; five-year-old subjects in Experimental group 2 experienced it for two years. Primary Measures of Music Audiation was administered three times during their last year of Kindergarten. Subjects in the Control groups, one examined at the beginning and the other at the end of their last year in Kindergarten, received no Audie instruction. There was no significant difference in tonal aptitude, but there was significant difference in rhythmic aptitude(p< .05) among the experiemental groups. Because both Experimental groups showed statistical significance (p< .001) in the music aptitude increase during their academic years, the significant differences of the year-end music aptitude between control group and experimental groups were the expected result.

The purpose of this study is to find how the childcare teacher aptitude of students majoring in childcare and education influences their perception of teacher professionalism. To achieve that, a questionnaire survey was conducted with 216 early childhood preservice teachers living in A city. For data processing and analysis, SPSS program was used so as to conduct frequency analysis and calculate the mean and standard deviation. In addition, to test reliability and find relations between variables, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were conducted. As a result, firstly, in terms of the childcare teacher aptitude perceived by the students majoring in childcare and education, they highly perceived an affinity with young children and a sense of calling of their job; in terms of their perception of teacher professionalism, they highly perceived social necessity and vocational ethics. Secondly, early childhood preservice teachers' childcare teacher aptitude had a statistically significant correlation with their perception of teacher professionalism. Thirdly, the sub factors of early childhood preservice teachers' childcare teacher aptitude all positively influenced the sub factors of the perception of teacher professionalism. Given the study results, the students majoring in childcare and education perceived the importance of their aptitude of childcare teacher. In order to provide high-quality childcare service and create the positive aptitude of childcare teacher, it will be necessary to conduct a variety of basic research.

The Pilot Aptitude Research Equipment (PARE) at the Republic of Korea Air Force Academy had been installed to study the pilot aptitude of the cadets and the student pilots(Navy officers and Air Force officers from the pilot scholarship programs and the ROTC). The T-37 simulated flight program and procedure, and the automatic evaluated program for simulated flight have been orderly developed to use the PARE effectively. The cadets who entered started to get simulated flight training by using those developed programs. Their flight situation has been recorded by the automatic evaluated program whenever they got the training. And then the cadets who took part in the simulated flight started the elementary combat flight training in 1,999 after getting appointed to an office and finished the advanced combat flight training in 2,001. The study of the relationship between the simulated flight and the combat flight training has begun after finding their combat flight training results. The Logistic Discriminal Analysis, technique of the SAS statistical analysis package was used to study the pilot aptitude model through the simulated flight training. This study showed that it is possible to pre-estimate the result of the combat flight training using the PARE machine.

This study is to make a comparison with actual condition on the computer specialty and aptitude for elementary school of city and farm with questionnairing and to hit with improvement plan. They have several difference from supplying teachers, bankrolling educational expenses but several points of sameness on requiring professional ability, operating study and training, limiting the receiving. Accordingly, if leading the quality improvement of the computer specialty and aptitude by forming stable employing mood, operating various programs, bankrolling educational expenses, extending study and training opportunity in elementary school, students will get opportunities to develope their ability and aptitude.

Vocational rehabilitation is defined as a process which helps people with disabilities to maintain life of non-disabled people and vocational assessment is a part of it. Traditionally, vocational assessment is performed through using of assessment tools, vocational counseling and so on. It is very efficient to apply vocational assessment to people with disabilities using the internet, but we should provide them with web accessibility. In this paper, we design and implement the aptitude test system for people with visual impairment supporting web accessibility. We develop the aptitude test system using the Holland Test which is the assessment tool of career guidance and counseling. We also show that the aptitude test system for people with visual impairment supports web accessibility more than previous Holland Test which is served in the internet.

In this study, factors affecting undergraduate students' dropout intentions consisted of aptitude and career fit of student's major, employement prospects of student's major, and graduation attitude were presented in the structural equation model and the moderating effect of academic year on the path coefficeint presented in the research model was verified. Undergraduate students are grouped into senior year (3rd and 4th grades) and junior year(1st and 2nd year) by the year in the university, As a result of analyzing 454 undergraduate students (105 in the junior group and 349 in the senior group), it was found that graduation attitude had a negative (-) effect on the dropout intention in both junior and senior group. The effect of employment prospects, and major aptitude and career firt on graduation attitude was not found in the junior group. However, in senior group, the effect of employment prospects, and major aptitude and career firt on graduation attitude was found to have a positive (+) effect, indicating that moderating effect of academic year does exist.

Recently, increases in major disasters such as fires, earthquakes and typhoons have raised public expectations for safety. In addition to this increase in expectations of safety, the government continues to push for more manpower and better treatment for firefighters who are operating in the disaster scene. Despite the improvement of working conditions and increased welfare for firefighters, however, the incidence and turnover of various mental diseases continues to increase. It is reported that many of the diseases such as post-traumatic stress disorder and the turnover of firefighters are due to a mismatch in individual's personality and work environment. In this study, 108 firefighters were evaluated for their vocational aptitude in the new curriculum. Based on the analysis results, new firefighters were proposed to provide employment and education training improvements, and to provide job security suitable for the individual's personality type through the introduction of the vocational aptitude test for firefighters who are working in the fire service. In addition, we would like to use the vocational aptitude test as a material for reducing post-traumatic stress disorder and increasing turnover through long-term tracking and observation, rather than from a one-off perspective.

Around two years have passed since the beginning of aptitude test required by 2006 Rail Safety Act. At this point, it is necessary to evaluate the validity of the aptitude test. Through this study, the structural system for all the tests would be overviewed, which will show the correlation among each tests or its importance. Also, although it is rough, reliability and validity of the tests would be overviewed by their retest and education materials. This would contribute, in the future, to setting up for the standard of upgrading or integrating the tests.

The purpose of this article is to empirically suggest the necessity of reconsidering the new aptitude factors such as the ability to withstand work stress, to handle unusual events, and to work independently, in the respect that the environmental change in railway safety-critical worker's job should be flexibly reflected in the current aptitude management system. Besides, several ways of reducing the stress level for the railway safety-critical workers were suggested as well.
