키네시오 테이핑 자가적용 교육이 만성요통 성인 여성들의 통증, 만족도 및 보행에 미치는 영향 (Effects of the Education about the Self-application of the Kinesio-Taping for the Adult Women with Chronic Low Back Pain on Pain, Satisfaction and Gait)

  • 본 연구는 일상생활에서 스스로 자신의 통증을 관리할 수 있도록 키네시오 테이핑 자가적용 교육을 적용하여 만성요통 여성들을 대상으로 통증과 만족도 및 보행에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 하였으며, 키네시오 테이핑 자가적용에 대한 기초자료를 제공하고자 수행되었다. 연구대상자는 만성요통 여성 30명이며, 키네시오 테이핑 적용을 2주간 실시한 후 자가적용 교육에 따른 자가적용을 4주간 실시하였다. 대상자들의 통증 평가는 Visual Analog Scale (VAS)을 활용하였으며, 만족도의 분석은 Canadian Occupational Performance Measure (COPM)를 활용하였다. 또한, 보행의 분석은 Walkway MG-1000 보행분석기를 활용하여 Stride length, Step length, Step width and Gait time을 분석하였다. 그 결과 테이핑 적용에 따라 통계적으로 유의미한 통증의 감소와 만족도의 증가, 보행 능력의 증가가 지속적으로 나타남을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한, 대비검정 분석결과 처치 내 효과검증에서 통증, 만족도 및 보행 분석결과 에서 (처치 전과 테이핑 적용 2주 후) 통계적인 유의미한 차이가 나타났으며, Step width와 만족도 분석결과에서 (처치 전과 테이핑 적용 2주 후)와 (자가적용교육에 따른 자가적용 4주 후) 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 자기관리능력의 향상은 만성통증 환자들에게 필수적이며, 일상생활에서 스스로 관리하여 적용할 수 있어야 한다. 따라서, 적극적이고 지속적인 통증관리를 위한 자기관리능력의 향상을 위해 키네시오 테이핑 자가적용 교육의 적용을 고려해야 할 것이다.

  • In the fields of reliability application, the most commonly used test methods for reliability demonstration are zero-failure acceptance tests since they require fewer test samples and less test time compared to other test methods that guarantee the same reliability with a given confidence level. For products with lognormal lifetime distribution, the value of scale parameter is usually assumed to be known in designing reliability demonstration tests. It is important to select correct values of scale parameters to guarantee the specified reliability with given confidence level exactly. The effect of using wrong values of scale parameters in designing reliability demonstration test for products with lognormal lifetime distribution is examined and selecting proper values of scale parameters for conservative reliability demonstration is discussed.

디젤엔진용 소결(W/C35%Ni) 태핏의 마멸거동에 관한 연구 (A Study on Friction and Wear Characteristics of Sintered W/C-35%Ni Tappets for Diesel Engine Application)

  • Abstract- In this paper tribological characteristics of solid and liquid phase sintered W/C-35%Ni tappets were investigated. Three test methods were performed to investigate the wear and surface damage mechanism of sintered tappets. First, block-on-ring wear test was performed to investigate the wear characteristics under pure sliding condition. Second, simplified cam and tappet tests (called component wear test hereafter) were carried out to simulate the real contact history of cam and tappet. Also, after the test, contact surfaces were analyzed with scanning electron microscope to study the wear mechanism. As a final screening, engine dynamo tests were performed. Results showed that in the block on ring sliding wear test, solid phase sintered specimens showed superior wear resistance to liquid phase sintered specimens. The component wear tests and engine dynamo tests also showed the same results. Therefore, in these tests, solid phase sintered tappet material revealed superior wear resistant properties to liquid phase sintered one.

  • XLPE insulated power cables are introduced in Korea in 1980s. The cable installation test has been carried out according to the Korean Technical Reference of Electrical Facilities. But recent research results shows DC Hipot test cannot detect the serious defects in XLPE insulated cables. VLF test is recommended as a installation test of XLPE insulated cables by CENELEC and IEEE standards in 1996 and 2001 respectively. We suggest to apply VLF test as an installation test for XLPE insulated MV cables in Korea.

  • This paper describes the evaluation of structural integrity and dynamic characteristic of inertial load test equipments for performance test of railway vehicle propulsion control system. The propulsion control system of railway vehicle has to be confirmed of safety and reliability prior to it's application. Therefore, inertial load test equipments were designed through theoretical equation for performance test of propulsion control system. The structural analysis of inertial load test equipments was conducted using Ansys v11.0 and it's dynamic characteristic was evaluated the designed using Adams. The results showed that the structural integrity of inertial load test equipment was satisfied with a safety factor of 10.2. Also, the structural stability was proved by maximum dynamic displacement of 0.82mm.

베이지안 신뢰성입증시험 설계와 활용 (Design of Bayesian Zero-Failure Reliability Demonstration Test and Its Application)

  • A Bayesian zero-failure reliability demonstration test method for products with exponential lifetime distribution is presented. Beta prior distribution for reliability of a product is used to design the Bayesian test plan and selecting a prior distribution using a prior test information is discussed. A test procedure with zero-failure acceptance criterion is developed that guarantees specified reliability of a product with given confidence level. An example is provided to illustrate the use of the developed Bayesian reliability demonstration test method.

대규모 집적회로 설계를 위한 무고정 부분 스캔 테스트 방법 (No-Holding Partial Scan Test Mmethod for Large VLSI Designs)

  • In this paper, we propose a partial scan test method which can be applied to large VLSI designs. In this method, it is not necessary to hold neither scanned nor unscanned flip-flops during scan in, test application,or scan out. This test method requires almost identical design for testability modification and test wave form when compared to the full scan test method, and the method is applicable to large VLSI chips. The well known FAN algorithm has been modified to devise to sequential ATPG algorithm which is effective for the proposed test method. In addition, a partial scan algorithm which is effective for the proposed test method. In addition, a partial algorithm determined a maximal set of flip-flops which gives high fault coverage when they are unselected. The experimental resutls show that the proposed method allow as large as 20% flip-flops to remain unscanned without much decrease in the full scan fault coverage.

  • In evolutionary algorithm, there exist various models for the evolution of the population with respect to schemes and strategies for reproduction. In the application of the algorithm to a specific problem, one model suitable to the problem is to be properly chosen and a program expert or a software is needed to help implement and test a designed algorithm. In this study, the software for simple evolutionary algorithms(SEA) with one population is developed. The software is designed as an application framework type, so that it may be friendly, allow users to add some program, and operate under the environment of Windows. For this, hierarchical classes for components of SEA are first designed by means of an object-oriented approach and then a library for SEA is built by them. With the library, developed is an application framework that can generate a frame code for an application program. The software proposed here can be used as a generalized tool for solving problems in a wide range of domains.

A Study on a Flux Switching Motor Drive for Fan Application

  • A new class of electronically commutated brushless motors, the flux-switching motor (FSM), is gradually emerging for use in power tools and household appliances especially fan and pump application thanks to green policies, This motor offers such advantages as high-power density and relatively high efficiency compare to induction motors, and low cost and simple motor structure compare to the BLDC motor. This paper presents the principle of the FSM and design of the 12/6 pole FSM drive system for fan application. Test results of the prototype motor are provided to verify the validity of the fan application with a TMS320F2812 DSP and inverter.
