  • Recently policy and clouding system to mandate the introduction of BIM in construction industry, various sensors technology, BIM in ICT technology and fusion, such as 3D scanning and printing technology has been further activated. However, the expression level of diversification associated with it, plan within one of the BIM project, design, engineering, it is difficult to have a different application has been consistent for each field, such as construction. Thus fell the efficiency of BIM apply, it is difficult to determine the appropriate level of BIM in the business early stage in order destination of position. In this study, in order to solve this problem, by utilizing SLA used in the IT field, it attempts to explore scheme which can be evaluated targeted level of BIM suitable for business in the planning phase.

  • In this paper, a new simplified configuration for a multi-level PWM inverter is proposed. The proposed inverter consists of an auxiliary circuit with one switching device, and 3 phase full-bridge inverter. The proposed inverter, in spite of reduction of the switching devices, offers characteristics similar to the NPC(Neutral - point - clamped)- PWM inverter. Also, since the reduction of the switching devices, the control strategy is simplified. And switching loss is reduced. In addition to, it is possible that reliable DC level voltage than former multi-level inverter. And load power application is same to conventional NPC-PWM inverter. The performance of the system is verified by simulation. In this paper, show the simulation result of the single phase full bridge inverter application.

  • Recently, request far application of advanced commercial technology to the defense acquisition process, to reduce the budget and shorten development time, has been increased. To accomplish these goals, the Advanced Concept Technology Demonstration(ACTD) is used for the defense acquisition process in Korea. And User Utility Assessment is tested to make a decision for transition to acquisition process. But this process does not include measurement of technology maturity and impacts of interface and interaction among the technologies. In this research, we propose the needs of measurement of TRL and IRL and application of SRL to reduce the risk during development phase, to understand the relations of technologies, and to fulfill the requirement far transition of the ACTD project to system development and demonstration process.

Influence of $K_{2}O$ - Fertilizer Application on Growth, Yield and Lodging of Paddy Rice

  • This study was conducted to investigate the influence of $K_{2}O$ fertilizer application on growth, yield and lodging resistance of rice. Culm length and panicle length were lowest at the treatment of fertilizer level, $N-P_{2}O_{5}-K_{2}O=16-8-8$ plot but number of panicle, percentage of fruitful culm, $1{\ell}$ grain weights of paddy rice and brown rice, 1,000 grains weight of brown rice, brown rice ratio, yields of paddy rice and brown rice were highest at the treatment of fertilizer level, $N-P_{2}O_{5}-K_{2}O=16-8-8$ kg/10a plot. Bending moment, breaking strength and lodging index were lowest at the treatment of fertilizer level, $N-P_{2}O_{5}-K_{2}O=16-8-8$ kg/10a plot. Judging from the results reported above, an optimum fertilizer level of rice for lodging resistance is most likely be $N-P_{2}O_{5}-K_{2}O=16-8-8$ kg/10a treatment.

Microclimatic Change and Growth Status by Soil-covering Material in Organic Garlic Cultivation

  • This study was carried out to investigate the effect of soil covering materials such as rice bran, rice hull and saw dust on garlic growth through a field experiment in wintertime. Rice bran was the smallest in term of particle size, but it recorded the highest level of bulk density. The missing plant rate after winter season was relatively high, 59.3%, and that of soil covering materials stood at the low level of 10%. Other growth factors recorded the highest level during application of rice bran. In terms of chemical properties of soil-covering materials, rice bran recorded the highest level of 1.84, 2.34 and 0.16% in the content of N, P, and K, respectively. The subsoil temperature was higher by application of rice bran as compared to that of other materials which stood at the lowest temperature ($-9^{\circ}C$).

  • It is difficult to establish a mathematical furnace model and automatic-fumace control because of the difficulty in direct measurement of the inner condition of a blast furnace. To solve this problem, we has developed and actually operated a blast furnace operation control system using artificial intelligence tool to be applied to the blast furnace process computer system. Since this system has a function of automatic Treat level control, higher practicality has been proved than the previous guidance-level expert system. This paper introduces an outline of the system and the result of application.

  • When the multiple video sources are together transmitted through the channel of fixed bandwidth, the efficiently picture quality method is necessary. This paper presents the picture quality control method to keep the same distortion level among the video sources. We first find a model of distortion and bitrate for the multiplexing system of multiple sources. Then we obtain the bitrate for each source to have same distortion level among the sources by using the approximated model parameters for simple implementation.

  • A Seismic retrofit idea based on a first principle is proposed for existing RC walls under various level of axial loading. In application of the proposed retrofit method, designers can choose the size and shape of boundary elements of wall sections for a required level of ductility. For this axial load ratio, steel ratio, and strength of concrete and steel are considered as design parameters. In order to show the usage of the idea, several design charts are presented with an application example.

  • 본 논문은 ALAN(Application Level Active Network)상에서 GME(Generic Modeling Environment)라고 불리는 컴포지션 메커니즘을 이용하는 AWCS(Adaptive Web Caching Service)에 관하여 언급하였다. ALAN상의 웹 캐싱의 요구사항은 자치 구성성(self-configuration)과 자치 적응성(self-adaptation)이다 이러한 요구사항을 지원하기 위해서 본 논문에서는 친AN상에서 IN(Intelligent Inetwork)에서 유래된 SCE(Service Creation Environment)와 유사한 서비스 컴포지션 메커니즘인 GME를 이용하여 AWCS 의 설계 및 구현에 관하여 언급하였다

  • 이 논문은 프레임 기반의 비디오 응용에 대해서 화질 (video quality) 제약을 고려한 응용 수준(application-level)에서의 에너지 최적화 기법을 제안한다. 화질과 에너지 소모 사이에는 상관관계 (trade-off)가 있음을 이용하여. 본 논문은 H.263 인코더의 화질을 실시간으로 모니터링해서 프레임 속도(frame rate)를 자동으로 조절하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 기존 동적 전압 스케줄링 (DVS: dynamic voltage scheduling) 기법은 유휴 시간 (slack time)을 주어진 것이라고 가정하는 반면, 제안하는 기법은 유휴 시간 자체를 증가시켜서 DVS 기법의 효과를 향상시킨다. 제안하는 기법이 주어진 화질 제약을 만족하며 상당한 에너지 소모를 감소함을 실험을 통해서 알 수 있다.
