Purpose: This research reviews the papers, published in the Journal of the Korean Society for Quality Control (KSQC) and the Journal of the Korean Society for Quality Management (KSQM) since 1965, in the area of statistical methods. The literature review is performed in the four fields of the statistical methods and we categorize the published articles into the several sub-areas in each field. Methods: The reviewed articles are classified into the four main categories: probability model and estimation, Bayesian analysis and non-parametric analysis, regression and time series analysis, and application of data analysis. We examine the contents and relationships of the published articles of the several sub-areas in each category. Results: We summarize the reviewed papers in the chronological road-maps for each sub-area, and outline the relations of the connected papers. Some comments on the contents and the contributions of the reviewed papers are also provided in this paper. Conclusion: Various issues are employed and published on the research of the application statistical methods for past 50 years, and many worthy works are achieved in the theory and application areas of statistical methods for improving quality in the manufacturing and service industries. The future direction of the research in the statistical quality management methods also can be explored by the contents of this research.

This paper addresses the importance of knowledge management (KM) and the relationship of that theory when applied to improving interior design organizational performance in four areas: people, processes, design products, and organizational performance. Included is the way knowledge theory manifests in three different professional settings: coaching and training, designing, and service settings. Knowledge management, although well established in interior design services, requires effort in coaching and training as motivation is a critical variable. Whereas, strategies for knowledge management vary from industry to industry given diversity in situational variables, knowledge in each professional setting can be significantly aided by capturing and storing empirical, tacit, and explicit information, providing real-time electronic storage and retrieval of information [5] and consistent with transformational theory, through opening communication channels across the full range of the organization, inspiring and motivating individuals, and aligning all members of the organization toward a common vision [8]. Professional settings discussed in this paper are:(a)an learning organization enumerated in KM; (b)designing factors for managing knowledge theory themes; and (c)service, effective, efficient, and innovative KM application that is relevant to the process of developing effective KM for interior design service organizations. Folded within each will be a discussion on KM's impacts on visions, strategies, costs, and organizational performance. It has reiterated the impact of KM on one level might lead to synergistic impacts on another. Thus, KM has the potential to produce several interconnected impacts on people, design products, processes, and organizations.

The president of the country has a very significant political role, but the study of the history about the presidency has not really been emphasized. This study is to examine how to apply the online contents about presidential history to elementary education. The documentaries presented in elementary social studies have a great effect on elementary students because their cognitive development is accelerated by understanding modern Korean history along with the presidential history and political issues through historical records. Therefore, this study focuses on investigating the method of application of the presidential history by having the presidential historian build online contents and provide this information to teachers and students.

With the coming of information times, digital contents are widely applied in various fields of the society. Along with this, scholars provided many techniques and research approaches related to digital contents management and copyright protection. But till now, most proposed techniques and approaches are based on single system. The independency and separation among management systems causes the problems such as application across systems are limited, and resources sharing can't be available, etc. In this paper, for the application cross systems and contents sharing, we propose the cross-systems DRM approach based on unified metadata. This approach can be applied for the incorporation of multiple congeneric or heterogeneous CMSs, in the same time, solve the copyright problem cross digital content systems.

Purposes: The aim of this study is to evaluate whether the contents of hospital reservation and reception applications(apps) are qualitatively useful in meeting the needs of medical consumers and improving hospital accessibility and convenience. Methodology: (1) identify consumer needs through social data web mining, (2) describe the status of key contents of mobile apps to improve accessibility and convenience of care, and (3) verify the quality of apps through validated tools Finding: The contents of 'mobile reservation function' and 'waiting time information provision' that can contribute to reduction of delay time of care and efficiency of desk work were supported, but the level of utilization was insufficient. The quality level of the app, including the level of consumers' needs, has shown a wide gap between the apps. Implications: The recent development of mobile apps for hospital accessibility and consumer needs has shown a wide gap in the quality of apps, including information and aesthetic. Therefore, it is necessary to develop apps based on user interface(UI), user experience(UX) based designs that can promote the usefulness and convenience of apps while monitoring needs of consumers continuously.

This study attempted to analyze the influence of mobile shopping motivation on the attributes and selection of beauty applications among consumers in their 20s, and the results found the following: First, mobile shopping motivation was classified into the categories of playfulness, convenience, and impulsiveness while beauty application attributes were divided into contents, community, and continuous management. Second, mobile shopping motivation was found to have a significant influence on selection of mobile beauty applications. Specifically, playfulness affected professional brands and beauty shopping mall apps, while impulsiveness revealed an effect on online shopping malls and beauty community apps. In addition, convenience showed an influence on TV home shopping apps. Third, mobile shopping motivation had a statistically significant effect on beauty application attributes. Specifically, playfulness, convenience, and impulsiveness revealed a statistically significant influence on contents, while playfulness also affected beauty communities. In addition, impulsiveness affected continuous management.

This study suggests that the application of split screen as visual media can attain the effect of diversity through providing rich information and accepting diverse contents as gorgeous aesthetics. Single images are analyzed as appropriate to a demanded concentration genre such as news and dramas, entertainment. In contrast, images with natural images and ads images those are more appropriate and analyzed as the genre of the split-screen which is highly efficiency to the contents and also highly efficiency to the spatial diversification. In introducing various genres of digital contents into split screen, the synergy of contents is induced by placement in consideration of the characteristics of split screen position. In order to increase the concentration of the split-screen image, using the left area and right area above it, can increase the effectiveness of the content.

In the course of this research, we developed FRIS(Food Replica Information System), which calculates calories and nutrient values of foods in a very simple and interesting manner, and experienced of application to some communities. We expect that individuals will have opportunities to raise their consciousness of food, nutrients, and healthy living by participating in FRIS. 154 kinds of commonly consumed Korean foods were selected and one serving sized food replicas, having the same shapes, size, and color as the real foods, were constructed with attached bar code labels. An application program with food replicas and bar code was also developed in order to provide information on calories and nutrient values for people's meals or selected foods based on survey results of housewives' requirements related to foods and nutrients. FRIS should be a basic tool in nutrition education and consultation. Its applicability would vary according to the nutritionist's flexibility and contents of developed application programs. Technical stability should be strengthened and more useful contents of application prograln be added to spread the use of the system. Additionally, in future research, more delicate models should be developed and an analytical method should be applied to examine the effects of FRIS to individual behavioral changes in their eating habits.

Humanities knowledge makes the learners overcome the boundaries of study and can be applied variously by means of contents for study. This paper suggests application contents plans designed as the learning tools for blended learning, which can be sure of the possibility to the extension of other fields. Literary education with application contents has effects followings: First, smart device based on the web under the ubiquitous circumstances has the information system like the neuron's. So the application selects the necessary information and makes the contents for infusion into the education. Also it provides with more abundant and extended information system. With this approach, learners are able to get further literary knowledge and promote the ability for tapping them for new knowledge as well. Lastly, literature applied to the class with web contents is based on the foundation that creates new knowledge necessary for culture, arts, and so on. As a result, the education using web contents achieves the boundless of study, which is the final goal of the blended learning.
