  • Most public organizations which charge for measuring or collecting environmental information provide web-based information services. In the case of Seoul, it is provided smart phone app for information services on region or district unit. However, there is no smart phone application for environment information services considering location-based services with the concept of personalization. The purpose of this study is to deign and implement a smart phone app for air environment and radioactive information services with these features. Hybrid type is adopted, so that several things are possible: access to a variety of devices by web languages, and N-Screen support is available. According as social needs with respect to more environmental information and their contents are increasing, this approach will be useful.

  • As the construction sites are far from the construction site offices, the construction workers perform work on the sites with a variety of reference books and materials. This inconvenience may lead to construction accidents, and as such, the demand for mobile app development for simplifying work is increasing. Therefore, in this study, the trends of mobile research and mobile app development, and their application to the construction field were investigated to develop a mobile app that would help construction workers process their work. Based on this, mobile services applicable to construction sites and work process improvement plans were proposed. To apply the proposed work process, the functions of the existing construction project management system were improved, and a mobile app that could be used in both the Android and iOS environments was developed.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a smartphone app for use in patient controlled analgesia (PCA) education and to identify PCA knowledge and pain management following lower extremity orthopaedic surgery under spinal anesthesia in patients who received smartphone app education. Methods: Participants were 150 patients in an orthopaedic hospital located in Busan. The measurement variables used in this study were PCA knowledge, pain management and pain level. For data analysis, SPSS/WIN 21.0 program was used in the analysis of the relation of frequencies. In addition, percentage, mean and standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, Duncan, Pearson's correlation coefficients were also assessed. Results: The score for knowledge regarding PCA was $4.27{\pm}1.64$. The correlations between knowledge and pain management (button push times

  • Currently, apps that run point management systems can accumulate, use, and view points, but there are no apps that present gifts to other users or pay a Dutch fee for points. In addition, although the penetration rate of smartphones is increasing, it is inconvenient to put point-related cards into wallets rather than using apps. Of course, to run your app's services, It requires a lot of research and development, but it has the advantage of being convenient to customers. Therefore, the point app management system to be mentioned in this paper can alleviate user inconvenience and feel the convenience of point management. Point management The configuration of the app system allows you to launch an app using an Android device and manage the points of all services. You can also perform functions such as earning, using, and viewing points related to points.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of Android application programming education to control Arduino using App Inventor on industrial high school students' creative and integrative thinking ability. We developed an instructional content based on integrative learning and creative problem-solving model and taught a class on it. The result of this study showed that there was a significant improvement in divergent thinking and motivation items among the sub elements of creative problem solving. In addition, students' survey on the integrated thinking has shown that many students think that they could design an IoT system applied to everyday life based on the knowledge they have learned in this class. Therefore, it can be confirmed that physical computing education using App Inventor and Arduino has a positive effect on students' creative and integrative thinking ability.

  • In emergency situations, first aid workers are the main task of trauma evaluation and care. However, the scope of first-aid treatment is small and they are mainly carried out to the emergency room of the hospital. If a specialist who is in charge of an emergency situation is connected and emergency medical treatment through remote medical direction is performed, accurate diagnosis and appropriate care can be helped. This paper has developed an smart application(app) to support remote medical direction for emergency medical services. The developed smart app allows emergency rescuers to call a doctor at a remote location and transmit real-time status of emergency patients to vital sign and video. This will help to diagnose the patient's condition accurately. In addition, emergency care can be instructed and response in the emergency room can be made quickly.

  • Modern people have many kinds of clothes for individuals, and not just for storing clothes, but also for managing the condition of the closet, and users of smart closets created smart closets that provide daily convenience and optimal closet conditions, suggesting the possibility of developing smart furniture for various environments. In this developed system, smart closet is controlled using app inventor and touch LCD through bluetooth wireless communication, based on Arduino MEGA and user's clothes is recommended depending on the weather. In addition, this smart closet is designed with real-time weather status checking and easy ventilation function. It was implemented through the Arduino and app inventor program so that the weather can be printed on the LCD screen and the user's suitable clothes can be recommended to the application.

  • This study requires SW education that can adapt to the advent of the fourth industrial revolution and the new normal environment of COVID-19 pandemic. Small and powerful smartphones, which have become a necessity in digital society, are designed and applied to create apps with useful apps or artificial intelligence modules that have been trained with data using the App Inventor program as a good teaching tool. After conducting the class in a blended method that combines face-to-face and non-face methods, the survey questioned the technical and cognitive maturity of artificial intelligence and the pros and cons of blended software classes. We also found changes in career orientation, which is intended to explore SW-related talent occupations that require a lot of demand in terms of national development before and after artificial intelligence classes. Significant results were reached in three of the sub-elements. Even in non-face-to-face situations, it is expected that an app vendor software education program using artificial intelligence will be provided to the actual site.
