소공인클러스터의 특성과 발달단계에 대한 비교연구: 서울시 창신 및 장위 의류봉제 클러스터를 중심으로 (Comparatie Study on the Characteristics and Development Stage of Micro Manufacturers Clusters: Focused on Apparel Sewing Clusters in Changsin and Jangwi, Seoul, Korea)

  • 소공인클러스터의 지원정책은 소공인클러스터의 지역적 특성을 반영해야 하지만, 유관기업의 통상적인 정보 수집을 기반으로 비슷한 정책만 내놓고 있다. 소공인클러스터의 지역적 특성이 파악이 안 되므로 지원정책에 반영이 되지 않고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 소공인클러스터의 특성을 클러스터의 특징인 국지화, 네트워킹/착근성, 혁신시너지/집단학습의 형성요소로 분석하였으며, 분석된 형성요소를 기반으로 발달단계를 적용해 보았다. 같은 업종이어도 지역적 특성이 다를 수 있으므로, 서울시 의류봉제업의 대표적인 클러스터인 창신지역과 장위지역의 소공인클러스터를 지역적 특성과 발달단계로 비교 연구하였다. 의류봉제 소공인클러스터의 특성 분석 결과, 국지화에서 동종업체 집적은 창신지역이 장위지역보다 높게 나타났으며, 네트워킹/착근성에서 두 지역 모두 잘 형성되어 있었다. 하지만 혁신시너지/집단학습의 협업에서 창신지역은 디자이너 중심으로 장위지역은 소공인 중심으로 이루어져 있고, 박람회 및 세미나 참여와 샘플 및 제작에 있어 창신지역은 적극적인 반면 장위지역은 소극적으로 나타났다. 두 형성요소로 살펴본 결과, 두 지역의 소공인클러스터의 발달단계는 창신 의류봉제 소공인클러스터의 경우 산업지구를 넘어 혁신지구로 진행되고 있고, 장위 의류봉제 소공인클러스터는 산업지구에 머물러 있는 것으로 분석된다. 창신과 장위 의류봉제 소공인클러스터는 지속적인 성장을 위해서는 두 지역의 특성과 발달단계를 반영한 정부의 지원정책이 필요하다고 제언한다.

  • On-line consumer reviews are good references for consumers to evaluate and buy apparel products. The objective of this study is to facilitate communication about performance textiles between consumers and merchandisers who buy and sell apparel products on online. The survey was based on standardizing words used in consumer reviews written after purchase of summer knit t-shirts at internet shopping mall and evaluating the performance textiles including cellulose fibers. We collected reviews of five sorts of the clothing products including cotton/modal, tencel/polyurethane, polyester/rayon, linen, cotton and selected 1000 reviews related to textiles. For classifying each word used in the reviews by the performance textiles, they were quantified applying same standards. The results were as follow: First, the standard for consumer to consider importantly was tactile sensation, appearance, pilling, thickness, dimensional stability in washing. Second, the important category of performance textiles was healthy-comfort and psychological-comfort. Third, there were difference performance textiles for consumer to recognize, e.g. cotton/modal was important to air-permeability, tencel/polyurethane was noticed about tactile sensation, polyester/rayon was perceived about pilling unlike other things, linen had a problem of clothing care-convenience, then cotton was familiar fiber to important for appearance. The last, consumers usually focused on writing the most positive or negative online reviews. Although not familiar with professional terminologies, consumers are sensitive to physical properties of textiles. Therefore, standardizing and evaluating performance textiles are expected to improve satisfaction as providing objective information to consumers considering in buying apparel products at online shopping mall and increase in revenue to manufacturer.

국내 패션기업과 협력업체와의 관계에서 신뢰와 몰입에 영향을 미치는 변인: 관계 기간의 조절 효과 (Antecedents and consequences of trust and commitment in apparel manufacturer-contractor relationships: The moderating role of length of relationship)

  • This study examined regarding the moderating effect of length of relationship in the relationship among the antecedent variables (i.e., specific investment, opportunistic behavior, communication, uncertainty, interdependence, power imbalance, shared value, and flexibility) of trust and commitment, trust and commitment and firm performance and relationship satisfaction. A total of 128 apparel manufacturers participated in this study. Flexibility exerted the most positive effect on trust in short-term relationship, followed by specific investment. And opportunistic behavior was found to exert negative effect on trust. Commitment was found to be most negatively affected by power imbalance, followed by interdependence. Trust was shown to be significantly affected by communication, shared value and flexibility in short-term relationship. In the case of long-term relationship, commitment was shown to be significantly affected by uncertainty, interdependence, power imbalance and flexibility. Firm performance was positively affected by both trust and commitment. As for the effect of trust and commitment on relationship satisfaction, relationship satisfaction was also affected by both trust and commitment. In case the length of relationship, firm performance was affected by both trust and commitment. As for the effect of trust and commitment on relationship satisfaction, relationship satisfaction was also affected by both trust and commitment. The result of this research provides valuable data for making a concrete suggestion regarding the strategy for improving trust and commitment for the sake of the desirable relationship between apparel manufacturers and contractors.

생산 품목과 생산량의 변화에 적용가능한 여성복 생산라인 설계 모델에 관한 연구 (Development of production planning model for women′s wear manufacturer - focused on the changing style numbers and lot size -)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest production planning model for women's apparel manufacturer, which are relevant to the situation of Korean clothing industry. The research was based on simulation method. The basic model for the simulation was developed based on the empirical data from six production fm. After verifying the basic model, low alternative production plans went through trial run. In order to suggest the application of these alternative production plans for various style numbers and lot sizes, the simulation results were compared in terms of product efficiency and product cost. The four alternative plans were as follows: 1. The first alternative was to spread out work loads among workers in order to resolve bottlenecks in work flow. So this was suited to manufacturers that had constant production without regard to changing seasons. 2. The second alternative was to merge the skirt and trouser production, which require less work load, in one line. In this line, a few machine was justified by production improvement. It was suited to cases which producted various style suits. The third and fourth alternative were using another subcontractor for assembling inner shell garments. These was compatible in manufacturers which had to product more styles and sizes of trousers and skirts than those of upper garments. 3. The third alternative was to reassign the same workers in production line. Thus, production was increased. 4. The fourth alternative was to except two worker in production line, so expenses of worker's wage was decreased. The four alternatives could be one of the cost effective manufacturing plans according to manufacturer situations.

  • Garment manufacture represents the final stage of processing a finished fabric. The main task of the garment manufacturer is to produce shell structures out of flat fabrics to match the shape of the human body, and the most acceptable means of joining textile materials for apparel use is by sewing. On the sewing process, the bottom layer is pushed forward by the feed-dog, but the presser foot tends to retard the passage of the top layer. Since the friction between the layers is low, is possible that the components will move out of phase and pucker. (omitted)

남성정장의 대량맞춤생산을 위한 MTM CAD시스템 활용실태연구 (A Study on the Use of MTM CAD Program for Mass Customization of Men′s Suit)

  • Mass customization utilizes the new computer technologies, supply chain management, product information management, and some level of customization of the product for the individual customer. This study aimed at grasping the actual conditions of mass customization of domestic men's suit industry and the use of MTM CAD program. The MTM apparel production programs that are used by five leading men's suit manufacturers in Korea were compared. The results of the study showed that most of the manufacturers produced mass customized men's suits to supply extraordinarily large or small size suit based on the individual order. The information listed on an order sheet used at shops was not necessarily corresponding to the information in the MTM CAD program that is use for production of suit ordered from the shop. The pattern data base on the MTM CAD program are constructed based on the sizing system of individual manufacturer. The most manufacturers translated the customer's body dimensions into difference between the standard pattern and the customer's needed adjustment.

패션 전문가의 성공적인 중국 진출에 관한 연구 -중국 대련의 의류제조업체를 중심으로- (A Study on the Effective Way of Supplying of Highly Educated Fashion Specialists -Focusing on the Korean Apparel Manufacturers in Dalian, China-)

  • 본 연구는 한국에서 의류 및 패션관련 학과를 졸업한 전문인력들이 앞으로 거대시장으로 성장할 중국 패션시장에 취업할 수 있는 효과적인 방법을 모색한·것이다. 연구의 방법은 한국의 많은 의류제조업체가 진출해 있는 중국 대련시의 7개 의류제조업체 대표자의 직접 면접방식을 사용하였으며, 면접의 기간은 2005년 2월 25일부터 3월 15일까지, 7월 28일부터 31일까지 2회에 걸쳐서 였다. 면접의 결과는 대련시의 상당수 의류제조업체들이 전문인력공급에 직면해 있었고$(100\%)$, 특히 비숙련직 노동자보다는 숙련직 및 중간관리자의 인력공급문제가 심각한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 이들은 앞으로 단순 제조방식에서 탈피하여 부가가치가 높은 분야로 진출-의류브랜드를 설립 혹은 기획 및 유통의 확장하려는 경 향을 보이고 있었다. $(85.7\%)$. 이와 같은 결과는 한국섬유산업연합회 및 KOTRA등에서 발표한 결과와 유사하여 한국의류제조업체의 $60\%$이상이 중국에 진출해 있는 현실에서 시급히 해결해야 할 문제라고 보여진다. 따라서 연구의 결과를 종합하여 다음과 같은 제안을 하고자 한다. 첫째는 중국어와 중국경제, 문화에 관한 전반적인 지식습득이 가능한 교과목을 설강하여 문화적인 차이를 인지케 한다. 둘째, 중국으로의 현장실습 및 견학, 인턴쉽 프로그램을 강화한다(면접을 실시 한 많은 회사들이 협조에 동의함). 셋째, 많은 의류제조업체들이 의류브랜드 런칭 및 기획, 유통분야를 강화하고자 하는 계획을 갖고 있으므로 브랜드 런칭에 관한 교육을 심화하석 변화하는 중국패션시장에 적응케 한다. 이러한 연구는 앞으로 한국의 패션전문인력이 진출할 수 있는 거대한 중국취업시장 진입을 위 한 토대로 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

백화점 입점 여성의류업체간 상호권력에 관한 연구 (On Interfirm Power in the Department Store and Its' Women's Apparel Tenants in a Channel Distribution)

  • 본 연구는 한국 경제상황에 따른 백화점과 입점 여성의류업체간의 상호간의 권력을 연구한 것이다. 여기서 백화점의 권력, 권력원천 그리고 입점업체의 대항력을 중심으로 한 모형 의 분석이 이루어졌다. 그 결과 백화점의 권력이 를수록 입점업체둘의 대항력이 작다고 지 각하고 있었으며 입점업체들이 백화점의 강제적 권력원천이 클수록 백화점의 권력을 크다 고 지각했다. 그러나 입점업체들의 대항력이 클수록 백화점의 강제적 권력원천과 유의하게 나타나지 않운 반면에 비강제적 권력원천과 유의한 관계를 보이고 있어 소매업 주도형의 권력구조를 나타내고 있다.

여성 재킷의 생산능력 설정을 위한 연구 (A Study on the Productive Capacity Setting of Women's Jacket)

  • This study aims at setting up productive capacity which can be usefully utilized for work management of apparel manufacturers. So as to achieve this goal, an apparel manufacturing company which has been operated by miniline system in Seoul was selected. Standard time and man-hour were calculated to create the accurate productive capacity by observing and measuring a work flow included cutting, sewing and finishing processes. And the result is as following. The standard time for each process was presented as cutting process 47004.5s, sewing process 671050.5s and finishing process 22426.3s. And 15284.4ms was computed as total procession man-hour per day of the manufacturer which is organized of 16 people. Also, the procession man-hour for each process was revealed as cutting process 396.7ms(2.6%), sewing process 14509.3ms(94.9%) and finishing process 378.5ms(2.5%). +Surplus was found in the productivity for each process included the cutting process(outshell, lining and seam process), the sewing process(preparation and arrangement process) and the finishing process. But, additional man-hour 52436.18ms was required because the productive capacity was calculated as -surplus(-13.9%) in the sewing process(part and assembly process). Therefore, a work schedule was planned based on the previous result. However, loading can be ideal when a capacity and a load become '0'. The object company should find the way to reduce allowance(26.25%) of the sewing process through reconstruction of consciousness and improvement in functions with analyzing works of operators. Also, they need to consider an additional supplement of the personnel.

섬유.패션 스트림간 신속대응을 위한 상품 기획 프로그램 개발 (Program Development of Quick Product Developing in Textile and Fashion Industry)

  • 섬유 패션 산업은 소비자의 구매 욕구를 예측하여 제품을 개발하는 경우가 빈번하며, 예측이 잘못될 때는 즉 소비자들이 특정제품을 외면하는 경우 할인판매를 통해 제품을 처리해야 하는 문제점을 안고 있다. 반면에 신속대응 시스템은 소비자의 욕구를 지속적으로 관찰하여 신속하게 제품개발 및 생산일정을 수립함으로써 불필요한 재고가 쌓이는 경우를 사전에 방지할 수 있게 한다 소비자의 욕구는 POS 시스템에서 창출되는 자료를 통해 수집 분석되고 이런 소비자의 선호도는 네트워크를 통해 실시간으로 관련 제조업자에게 제공되어 제조업자들이 소비자의 선호도에 부합하는 제품을 개발, 생산, 제공할 수 있도록 해준다. 본 연구에서는 신속대응 시스템의 주요한 목표인 신기술의 접목을 통하여 의류제품의 기획, 구매, 생산, 유통과정 상의 재고 수준의 절감 및 과정 소요기간의 단축, 의류제조업자와 소매업자간의 보다 나은 협조체계의 개발, 소비자의 욕구에 적절히 대응하는 시스템을 학생들에게 교육할 수 있는 프로그램을 개발하였는데 신속대응 시스템을 위한 섬유 패션 스트림간 상품 기획 프로그램을 개발하였다.
